#when I tried to post this tumblr signed me out of my account???#all that work and I wasn't even happy with it halfway through but now I love this thang. yay #X's clock hand has no gears on it for lore reasons and not because I didn't wanna draw it I swear #this is actually the first time I've drawn both Abram and Abel. Abram was a darling to draw and Abel had his face redrawn 14 times #I believe it's physically impossible not to make Adam look real pretty in literally anything. plus I took tattoo liberties and I like em #he's barefoot in my heart but unfortunately I cannot draw feet.#anyways. justifications:#Time Duck as an abno has its event centred around what one perceives it to be - a rabbit or a duck #this links to Fau in how it can be unclear when it is her and when it is the Gesellschaft. who she is at any one point is somewhat up to yo #and I think it links very similarly to the A5 - are they truly all one in the same #or are they different people with the same - or similar enough - starting points #especially for X - which is why he's the goopy-est - is he simply Ayin once again or has he changed to the point of being his own person #that goes for every loop's X as well. can the same shape change enough in ones eyes to become an entirely different animal #also the time theme and Fau's corrosion quote 'Thus. You cease to move. Trapped in the stopped time. For eternity'#is an obvious reference to the time loop shenanigans at L Corp HQ #they are all trapped by him in the same 50 days. never to move forward with the rest of the world. for a practical eternity #also doomsday clock on Fau's corrosion is a reference to how A and D keep paralleling eachother and probably know eachother from somewhere #the tremor on the E.G.O is like how each thing that happened brought him closer to the brink [aka the stagger threshold]#and the sinking on the gift [gestures at Abram]#plus the mechanical theme connects to how Ayin looked towards the seemingly infallible idea of the machine in his time of need #fanart #ayin lobcorp #abram lobcorp #abel lobcorp #adam lobcorp #x lobcorp #lobotomy corporation #limbus company #🌑🌘🌗🌖🌕#NEVER DRAW GEARS PLEASE JUST TRUST ME ON THIS ONE IT IS NEVER WORTH IT

so here's a fun little PIDW AU idea.

after finally dying at the ripe old age of 200+, former demon emperor LBG wakes up in the body of his 12 year old self, on the day where he joined the cang qiong mountain sect in his previous life. he's understandably angry and bitter about having to face the misery of his youth all over again, but ultimately decides to take advantage of this unexpected second chance at life and be less of a downtrodden naive little lamb this time around.

the disciple selection goes just the way it did in his first life (LBG ends up going to the CQM sect again because, well, it's not like he can think of a better option at this point in his life), but when LBG meets SQQ in person for the "first" time and mentally prepares himself to be doused in tea once again, nothing happens. SQQ just drinks the tea he brewed and orders MF to show him around and get him settled before leaving.

and then the expected bullying never comes. his seniors (with the exception of NYY) may not be the friendliest bunch but they mostly leave him alone, and while the SQQ of this new life is still cold and distant, he isn't constantly looking for excuses to punish his most junior disciple. and whenever LBG acts out to purposefully test him, SQQ's punishments seem to be unexpectedly lenient.

which leads to LBG having a full-blown crisis. it took him so much time and mental effort in his first life to come to accept that it was the world around him that was inherently evil and cruel, and not him that was inherently unlikeable and unloveable, and now his new life turned all that upside down? apparently, it was indeed him that's been the problem this whole time, and all it took for other people to be just a bit nicer to him was changing his behaviour (even though he's not quite sure what exactly led to this monumental change).

unbeknownst to him, the SQQ of this new life also transmigrated into his younger fully intact body on the same day that LBG did. and he's working on salvaging his reputation in the cultivation world in order to be able to expose LBH's demonic heritage in the future.

#bonus points if LBG tries to emulate what he remembers of LBM after meeting him in that parallel world once #and convinces himself that being a pathetic crybaby is indeed the only way to win over SQQ #even though this SQQ doesn't seem to be nearly as warm and doting as the one LBM has?#but maybe LBG just needs to act even more pathetic to rouse SQQ's dormant shizun instincts #meanwhile SQQ has no idea that his disciple is behaving abnormally #because he never really paid attention to LBH in his previous life #he's fully convinced now that LBH has always been whiny and pathetic #he just didn't have the audacity to openly act like that around his shizun #ugh #SQQ can't wait for the day he can finally kill this demon spawn with his own hands #without being painted as the bad guy for it #luo binghe #luo bingge #shen qingqiu #shen jiu #original shen qingqiu #potential #bingjiu #like some good old enemies to reluctant allies to lovers style #svsss

this may be the biggest cope of all time and i am in no way citing this as anything beyond that but like, hear me out.

drdt is very well written in general and one of my favourite things about it is how irrational the cast is and how that plays into the way that the trials operate. we see this time and time again, first with teruko and everyone immediately, without any real evidence or proof believing that she killed xander and then again with david and everyone believing he killed arei.

we also see the different kinds of reactions to this like how teruko fought for her innocence whilst david commits to playing the part.

here's where the coping part comes in because i am slightly, possibly convinced that a similar thing has happened with ace. i think that the way the trial was conducted showcases the irrational and fixed mindset most of the cast has (with teruko leading the charge surprisingly)

and i think the fact that for 40 minutes ace was for lack of better terms dogpiled on and TOLD he killed arei (like, multiple people said this without any reservations BEFORE the slingshot thing which is literally the only thing tying him and him only to areis murder and even that is kind of flimsy) and i think that the way he's been treated in general has been really shitty.

taking out this post as a whole and assuming he IS the killer he still made a really good point about how teruko is only siding with eden because she likes her more. which is like, obviously a very uncomplicated way to put it but it's also completely the truth. ace gets the short end of the stick because eden cries and teruko feels bad and she tries to prove it's ace BECAUSE of her confirmation bias and her reservations around his personality in comparison to edens. i don't think she's doing it on purpose but i think she's not as removed from making broad assumptions based on her emotions as she thinks.

anyways the idea of ace basically doing what david tried to do originally (commit to the bit) but successfully is almost laughable but so is all the evidence that he DID kill arei. teruko trying to get him to fight for his innocence proves to me that thinks (hopes? believes?) that there is something beyond what she's seeing (all that glitters is not gold or something like that) and him going silent, accepting his fate, not refuting any of the genuinely wild claims against him (eden just flat out saying he was the one stalking her when there's zero proof that it was him and everyone just believing her) and committing to the idea that he's never making it out alive so he might as well go down now rather than later is actually really compelling.

Could I ask for your thoughts on why you say that Cassius should have been Crassus' political heir ?

so largely I’m half referencing this collection of quotes and the various attempts to fill in the space/grave with a body (like Cicero! Cicero was a contender for this!) and I’m sort of taking shots at Antony for fun and whimsy.

like in sports!! I gotta root for my man Cassius over Antony, especially because no one can actually fill the space left by Crassus after his death (literally, the political landscape makes this impossible), but Cassius assumes a command position due to everyone else (notably, Crassus) dying (so: inheriting Crassus’ leadership position) and wouldn’t be a bad follow up to Crassus in the realm of military command since they have a similar (strict, as opposed to friendly in a way is commonly associated with Antony) relationship with the men under their command.

& also bc Marcus Crassus jr seems to be disinterested in taking up space in the political spotlight on his return from the Gallic Wars otherwise I’d be advocating for him on the basis of family tragedy compounded. it’s time to fill the space/memory/grave of your father and brother, buddy!

#no one can actually fill the role of Crassus and after the death of Pompey it’ll be impossible for a Crassus-like figure to exist #because Caesar has redrawn the lines and you can’t achieve the tris homines dynamic with those lines #ALAS. shoutout to Caesar for making things fucking boring. so she is definitely a star of some kind. i mean she is an angel but in that story in particular The Stars are kind of angels. like they’re otherworldly beings and they jus kinda hang out. cosmically. it’s a different dimension separated from the human one but like, obviously stars still exist for humans, they just don’t do anything crazy because the rules of the world dictate that their realities shouldn’t interact. angels can observe the other world from far up above yet they still exist on a different level. But tbh zavijava had never enjoyed the otherworldly ethereal whatever lifestyle—she just didn’t feel like she fit in there. she is a #1 humans fan though so she knows that’s where she’d fit in. so she does just that. she fits in perfectly :) and normally :) yay :)

#see the thing with zavijava is that there isn’t much info to share on her just on account of her being what she is #she is like a Concept trying to humanize and shove herself into a box #it’s like asking a rock what it likes. a rock can’t like anything it just sort of exists #that’s zavi babey #that’s not to say she doesn’t desperately try to like anything and everything . and that’s precisely what she ends up doing #she loves everything ! but she doesn’t really understand it or have a genuine connection to anything just by virtue of not being part of the #world. it’s like having a 6d being try to exist in a 3d space. very limiting. very incomprehensible for the 6d being #so her enjoyment of things (debatable if she’s even Capable of feeling Anytning) is artificial in a way #she is Uncanny Valley she reflects humans she does not really have an inner world or proper opinions of her own #so like she Does really love humans and everything about their world. but no specifics or a detailed understanding of them & it #as much as she likes humans she does not grasp their concepts like at all. #thinking of the links awakening sequel to alttp post and how games contrast/mirror each other #i cant say totk was super close to it. well maybe it was based on the first trailer but not anymore !#there were moments to be sure (sky island music + the great sky island) but the bulk of it is. Not #it feels less of a sequel to botw and more like a spinoff game. the world is hollow when you see the cracks and the cracks are Everywhere #npcs are wrong the structure is more linear (the great sky island for ex) the replacement of the sheikah with the zonai but it not working #due to the fact that the sheikah are still referenced and its the Same Place where literally all of the events of botw and prior happened #like. it Could In Theory Work but its trying to erase the sheikahs presence entirely which. no!! thats not how that works??#instead of mirroring or parallel and highlighting them Both it tries to scrub one out over the other #the emphasis on a Greater Past- botw focusing on 100 years prior which he and zelda and the champions and. The World have a connection to #vs totk doing more than 10000 years prior which would Seem better at first glance but it informs nothing about hyrule and nothing meaningfu #l was lost. its just a set piece to show rauru and sonias conflict with ganondorf #theres no. Connections. like it doesnt matter to ganondorf hes just oOoOoo evil and it somehow doesnt affect his goals or motives #the sky islands cant imply any context because there Is no context theyre just scattered ruins with no significance #rauru laments about the constructs but Thats It. everything is just there to be cool #especially the old temple of time/the temple of time in the sky. Welcome back to the NEXT EXCITING INSTALLMENT OOOOOF!!! Milo Confuses His Lefts and Rights So Bad He Fucking Dies.

I'm gonna try and give like. Bare minimum context. Bc I don't wanna show my whole hand. Stay with me I don't have words or explanations sorry

I'm trying to follow The Rule. The 180 Rule I think it's called. The Avoid Spontaneously Teleporting Your Characters And Making Them Inexplicably Switch Places Rule. These are just key panels, again, bare minimum to see what angles/movements I'm making here

Here's where I fuck up. Fuck my entire life. Ect

Okay. You see the Issue. I will show you some more

This is part of my first roughs for this panel/page. Let's unpick this.

1) Seemingly Correct Placement. Yippee!

2) Ran into the same issue written above, where the bodies are blocking MOST of the Most Significant THINGS. I CANNOT stress this enough. There's SYMBOLISM here, that is a Key Component to what you're supposed to fucking infer.

3) Scabbard is on the right side here and should be on the left. Which led me to make that scribbly Alfonse ref I posted earlier.

So I revise it. I was SO FUCKING PROUD OF THIS. Let's unpick it.

1) Eyes are drawn to The Focal Points. Alfonse, hand on his hip, resting on his sword (sheathed). It's a relaxed/at ease pose, so it doesn't Have to mind handedness too much.* Meanwhile, you see more of Moe's pose, staff slung over the shoulder. It's been holding the staff like this the whole time I imagine, just mostly out of frame during page 1.

2) The poses are MUCH clearer due to the placement. However. You are seeing the problem here.

3) THEY FUCKING TELEPORTED (OR MAYBE I'M STILL CONFUSED???? IT IS POSSIBLE.)

*I guess one thought that's occurring to me is maybe the same "don't mind the handedness at rest" approach could apply here??? Edit for Moe here to clarify

This isn't even factoring in whatever the fuck is happening on page 3, but I do think it's fucked. Like, just from my brief overview/take my word for it, I think they are on the Correct sides on page 3. Which may make the Switch/Teleporting more egregious.

So like. Where do I even go from here. Please for the love of god help me.

YALL ARE NOT SERIOUS PEOPLE no way i’m looking at the tumblr tag for spn 7x03 aka the sam centric flashback episode dealing with his childhood trauma and how he feels like he’s a freak and everyone is just posting about DEAN. dean and his stupid fucking pie. dean winchester used to be my guy! genuinely! s2-3 i truly thought i was a deangirl! But you people (plus this show atp lmfao) are making me hate him😭
