Ok for those of you who don't know. I did do an au or an idea where me n shang have kids. This is more or less a "what if" .
These are our two children
Mei tsung(the girl) and xian tsung(the boy) they are twins. (Mei is pronounced may like the month. And xian is pronounced sh-ee-enn. Xi's in Chinese (mandarin at least) sound like shhhh sound. Like shaolin would be spelled xiaolin actually. But eh. It's all good. Just wanted to drop that in case people have a hard time pronouncing their names 💖)
Mei is just like her daddy with ambition and all the firey temper of her mom. But she's not as magically inclined. Unlike her brother. Shes messy, adventurous, and not afraid to speak her mind. She has hella adhd and is hyper. But she loves outside so letting her climb and exercise is important. She loves music and gardening too. She's protective of her baby brother. Anyone who hurts him will feel her wrath. She's brave but also sensitive af. Poor baby.
Xian is my sweetie autistic baby boy who loves fruit like his papa. Has glasses like his momma and all his mommas sweetness. Tho he lacks his fathers ambition. He is proficient in magic. And yearns to be a healer/doctor one day. He's very smart and his hyperfixation is old Chinese theater, plays, and novels. He's very helpful and loves to be clean. He hates feeling dirty. He was easy to potty train. He's also very protective of his baby sis. This never changes even as they grew.
Both are cunning and smart like their father. Both are skilled even at a young age. And both are me n shang's pride and joy.
We have a cat named mao mao. And a dog named Bo. Mao mao is a siamese shorthair mix. And Bo is a chow chow puppy and is a former temple guard dog.
This is just my fankid au. I haven't fully decided if i wanna add this to my canon or not.
But here's me n shang's babies
I couldn't find "traditional" clothes so i put them in the best i could find. Mei has pearl earrings and xian has some chinese opera earring n jewelry. They're pretty fashionable kids.
I love them sm. 💖🥺😭
Let me know if you wanna know about them more.

My Most Cherished Friend - Lu Bu Fengxian x Reader
Life in the Wu Commandery was a tough one, especially for frail women, but the people of the village were united and kind, like the members of one big family, protective over their own, especially the younger generation - The children. Though, even the little ones had to grow up fast and pull their weight in any way they could, be it seaming clothes, carrying fire wood, help with the buildings and maybe hunting also.
Y/N had the privilege of being born in a happy, loving family, and though none were rich, they were content with each other and the kindness they spread around. There was one boy who wasn't as fortunate however, though Y/N couldn't understand why -
Lu Shang, the kindest man in the province, the protector of all children, had adopted a child born under the blood moon - A demon child, as they say. Y/N asked her parents why the village shuns a child, he did nothing wrong! Even the other children strayed away from him, in case they'd also get afflicted with his unfortunate curse.
"Papa, why are they so mean to Lu Bu?" Y/N asked one evening, during dinner. "He just wants to play. He always looks so sad." "Well, darling, what do you want to do?" her father smiled kindly. "I... I want to be his friend!" the two parents looked at each other proudly, before patting her hair. "Then do as you wish." Y/N looked up at her mum and dad before dashing out of their little hut, all the way to Lu Shang's home. She smiled widely at the two surprised residents of that tent. "Do you two want to join us for dinner?" her brilliant smile full of tenderness and kindness shocked the young boy, but more than that, made the father throw his arms around the girl and hug her tightly, thanking her for being his child's only friend.
Y/N guided the two back to her cottage where the adults had a merry time, and the two children, well - Y/N tried to make conversation, hoping to ease Lu Bu into their fresh new friendship. Thankfully, by the end of the night, Y/N spotted the cutest, smallest smile on his face, and the faintest of blushes on his cheeks.
He is so cute.
Since then, Y/N accepted the rejection of her other so-called friends, and the whole village, just to spend time in Lu Bu's company. Somehow, despite being so quiet and supposedly dangerous, he was a far better friend than any other one she had before.
Y/N would cook for the two men, and would tailor them clothes of all kinds - But what Y/N loved the most was to play with Lu Bu's gorgeous hair, though somehow, no matter how much she tried to brush it or braid it in all sorts of ways, it would break any tie, and would get spiked up like a porcupine or a hedgehog.
He really was so adorable.
Y/N was fawning over him shamelessly, complimenting him, kissing him, hugging him - Lu Bu almost felt the need to pull away from her, as she's behaving just like his father - But somehow, he also... Liked it?
"You have such beautiful eyes, Lu Bu! They always look so tender and kind - But also so sad and lonely." she would cup his face and kiss his forehead dearly. "I know I may never be able to erase your sadness, but I want you to know that no matter what happens, I will always be here for you, okay? You will always be my most precious and dearest friend." Lu Bu looked at her, his eyes gleaming with surprise and sparkles of hope. He offered a toothy grin and pulled the girl in a strong embrace. "My precious friend."
Every time Lu Bu would go out to hunt and get large game, he would share it with Y/N's family also, and every time he'd see her being bullied by the other kids, he would stand in front of her, defending her. He needn't actually do anything - They all feared his mere presence, let alone even try to confront him. Weaklings. They were all weaklings. How come a small and frail girl like Y/N can brave him, but grown up adults cannot? Ha. Ridiculous playthings.
Y/N continued being his best friend through all of his sadness and hardships, being his only friend and supporting him and his dad. Funny enough, their parents kept talking weird shit about marrying one day and what not - How strange, how peculiar. He didn't need any of that. Y/N was his precious person and he never wanted to part from her. He needn't some silly marriage pact to define their bond - They were inseparable, in life and death, and he was going to protect her at the cost of his life - Though he doubts there's ever going to be anyone to best him in combat. He was born a warrior, will live as a warrior, and will die as the strongest warrior that China ever had and ever will.
Though the years passed, Y/N's misfortunes began to grow - Once, with the death of her mother, due to an unknown disease, and later on, with father's death, out of sheer grief. Y/N was all alone, refusing to exit her tent and crying the day and night out, starving to death.
"Where is Y/N? I haven't seen her in a few days." Lu Bu asked his father, who offered a sad smile. "I think she is in dire need of a friend." Lu Shang explained, patting his head. "What do you mean?" he asked, confused. "Am I not her friend anymore?" the boy gasped, fearing the worst. "Does she not like me anymore?!" "No, no - Nothing of the sort. It's just... She lost both her mum and dad in a short amount of time. I bet she feels alone and scared right now." the father-figure watched the gears of his son's mind rotating. "But she's not alone - She has us, right?" the innocent boy answered quickly. "Sometimes, when stricken with grief, we tend to forget that we have people to rely on." the father explained, patting the boy's head. "We just need a gentle reminder that we have someone out there, still caring for us, even if life feels heavy on our shoulders and we can't see the light of hope through the thick darkness."
Lu Bu was a little confused, but had a good idea on what to do. He rushed out of his tent and into the forest, where he got a bunch of pretty flowers and made a flower crown for Y/N. She always loved flowers, and liked braiding them in his hair - But he wasn't good at braiding her hair, so he settled for a pretty crown. Hopefully, she'll like it.
With afternoon coming quickly, Lu Bu ran into the silent tent of Y/N and watched as she kept herself into a little ball, continuing to weep even after a few days since her father's funeral. She was outright distraught... And so alone.
"H-Hey, Y/N?" she hadn't answered. The boy stepped by her side, placing the crown on her head. "I-... Uh... I'm your friend!" he boldly declared as he wrapped his arms around the girl. "So, uh... So I want to see you smile again."
Y/N looked up at him - For Lu Bu, she was still so pretty, even with her face pale from her unhealthy habits, the dark bags under her eyes from lack of sleep, and the puffy pink face from excessive crying. She looked at him, deeply shocked that he did all this, just for her. Suddenly, the boy picked her up in his arms and ran outside, and to the flower field on the edge of a cliff. "You can put flowers in my hair if you want!" he declared with a large smile on his face. It seemed that such simple gestures brought some pink hues in her cheeks, and she even had the faintest smile.
They didn't really speak the entire time, instead, Y/N found comfort and peace simply from his presence next to her. Together, they watched the Sun go down, painting the sky in numerous gorgeous colours, before it got dark and the stars started twinkling. "Do you think they are up there? Sparkling brightly and watching over me?" Lu Bu looked at the girl, before looking up - A star was shining very brightly, right in front of them - He smiled and nodded his head. "Yeah, I think so. I think they are right there. Happy." he pointed at that star. Y/N smiled. "That's reassuring." she said as she threw her arm around his body. "Thank you. Friend." Lu Bu said no words - Instead, he mimicked a gesture she'd often do for him. He kissed her forehead.
When Fengxian was around nine years old, he experienced sickness - Or rather, his father's, and nothing that Y/N did, nor even the elder medics, could save him without the aid of expensive medicine that wasn't available within their district.
"All of this is the country magistrate, Li Tang's, fault!" Lu Bu heard Y/N's grandfather mumble as he tried to care of Lu Shang. "It's become nothing but heavy tax and tributes since that fucker came." he growled lowly. "Did you hear that he wants young girls as tributes now? What if he wants our sweet Y/N next?" her grandmother was evidently in distress. "That fucker is ruling as if he's the king of the country. He doesn't even consider us humans. At this rate, he'll make us commit suicide. We have no choice but to leave these lands soon, if it continues this way." Lu Bu and Y/N remained by Lu Shang's side as he rested, never once moving, though the worries of the adults weren't ignored by him. "Don't worry, Fengxian." despite his delirious and weakened state, Lu Shang mustered the strength to ruffle his boy's hair. "If I get some sleep... I'll get better." they both knew he wouldn't. But that's a parent's duty, isn't it? To care for his children and their happiness?
That night, Lu Bu went to the magistrate's mansion to 'ask' for some medicine - Y/N knew he was going to get in trouble, so she followed stealthily behind him. She watched as he easily killed the guards and forced his way within the mansion, taking just about all the important medicine in a huge sack. Silly boy. With such a noticeable bounty, he was bound to get noticed.
Before she left, Y/N left a handmade jewellery, evidently a girly one, and left it at the crime scene, as evidence. The guards will surely blame her instead. And so it happened, though the massacre and destruction was far larger than she ever anticipated. Li Tang's guards burnt the village to the ground, captured Lu Shang and all the children while all the other adults had to watch as they cut off the man's entire arm. They were surrounded by the magistrate's army, but the only happiness Y/N and Lu Shang had was that Fengxian wasn't there - They didn't want him to get killed because of his kindness.
A tall man garbed in regal armor and a sun-like mask walked in front of them, wearing a nasty grin. "I am the magistrate of the Han Empire. There is a child who committed robbery in my mansion, and apparently, she is a child of this village. Her name is Y/N." the disgusting man held up the tassel in his hand. "If the girl steps forward willingly, I may have a little mercy on these filthy slaves."
The elder of the village stepped forward and kowtowed to the ground, his forehead glued onto the ground. "Master Li Tang, we offer you the criminal Y/N without hesitation. These children don't deserve punishment for anything. I beg you... I beg you...! Please spare their lives!" the elder got stepped on harshly with the heel of his boot, getting kicked and hit by the flickering magistrate. "There's NOTHING you can say - Why I would need to punish some dirty nomads - I will give them a painful death, one that you all will find unforgettable! If you keep provoking me, I'll spill their filthy nomad blood everywhere!" "It was me." Y/N stepped forward, her head held high and with the dignity of an Empress. "You gave us no choice. We are people also, and have every right to live. If you are going to oppress us, then we must retort to crimes to survive." she spoke bravely, allowing the elder to return to his people. "I don't regret raiding your expensive house for medicine to save a worthy man." The magistrate looked down at the small girl, a sadistic grin twisting his face. "A little whore like you dares speak so bravely?" he took out a huge scissors-like weapon, and slashed at her, ripping at her clothes and slicing her skin. You could see blood pouring through the ripped material. "I will give you an easy death, if you kneel to the ground and lick my boots - Repeat this phrase - You will say - We, Nomads, are the whores of Li Tang, the county magistrate in Jiuyuan district of the Han Empire." he opened the blunt-edged scissors, taller than her, and pointed the tip to her nether regions. "I'm going to fuck you with it if you don't obey." "I will not soil the name of my people for a cruel imbecile like yourself!" Y/N pride was met with a demonic expression from the magistrate, who rose his arms up in the air. "Kill them all." he growled like a rabid dog as his army rose their bows up to aim.
Quickly, Y/N extended her arms to the side and stood tall in front of the kneeling Lu Shang, ready to protect him with her life. But death never came.
Instead, Lu Shang, with his remaining arm, grabbed Y/N by the back of her outfit and pulled her down to safety as he tanked all the many arrows, shielding the children of the village.
"Are all of you okay?" Lu Shang asked the children, barely standing up from the over twenty arrows stuck in his body. "No! Why did you do this?! I was supposed to protect you! When Fengxian finds out you died, he's going to go crazy!" Y/N yelled at the man, sobbing as she fell to her knees in front of him. "Why...?" he smiled gently as he fell to the ground. "Protecting the smiles of children is the duty of an adult." "THEN WHO WILL PROTECT FENGXIAN'S SMILE?!" Y/N cried out at him, desperate and frustrated with him. "You."
A psychopathic laugh, followed by the magistrate grabbing Lu Shang by the hair, and pinning Y/N on the ground, strangling her with a single hand, sent terror through everyone's heart. "It's useless - Useless! From the very beginning, I decided to massacre all the nomads." "LET HIM GO, YOU SICK FUCK!" Y/N tried to claw at his hand and struggle away, only to get a punch in the diaphragm, knocking her breath away.
A sea of gasps and curses attracted the attention of the nomads, as Lu Bu appeared out of nowhere. "Fengxian..." Lu Shang felt tears in his eyes as his own child had to witness such a horrific sight. "FENGXIAN, RUN! HE'S GOING TO KILL YOU!" Y/N yelled at him - The Magistrate quickly realised the demon child wasn't important only to his father, but to this wench also. To taunt Lu Bu, Li Tang threw the father away before grabbing the little girl, his perverted hands crawling all over her skin, despite her futile struggling.
The poor child watched the decrepit state of his father - His arm cut off and still bleeding, his body torn apart by countless arrows buried deep inside his flesh. His only friend was bruised and bloody, her clothes ripped to shreds and body defiled in front of him. Lu Bu felt like crying from a myriad of emotions overwhelming him to the core. He was ready to rip everyone to shreds.
"Ahh, what a scary face! Lu Bu, was it? I was playing with your father and girlfriend because you were taking so long!" the whole army surrounded the feral child. "Kill him! It's your turn to be punished!" "REMOVE YOUR HAND!!!" Lu Bu screamed loudly, his voice echoing through the entire plains.
Everyone watched with awe and wonder as a mere child of nine massacred an entire army, weaponless, right in front of their eyes. Lu Bu Fengxian was truly a monster demon child. Seeing his useless soldiers getting killed, Li Tang threw the girl away and readied his famous weapon to kill the child - But it was futile. Lu Bu needn't a weapon to defeat trash. In a single punch, the magistrate was mauled. "You, who brings misfortune, is a child of evil." were his last words before his head was kicked off his body.
With the fight over, Lu Bu watched as Y/N dragged his father to lean back on a tree, his arrows already taken off, but the bleeding was insane. Her outfit was ripped to shreds in a failed attempt to stop the bleeding - But with such injuries... Not even the Gods could save him.
"N-No... No, you can't! Can't we stop the bleeding in some way?!" the poor boy panicked wildly, only for his face to be cupped tenderly by the man's remaining hand. "Fengxian... Fengxian... S-Show me a good face... Please..." his father looked the boy in the eyes, encouraging him to go search far and wide for the man whose strength will rival his - A man he would be able to call a friend. "Just don't forget... Myself and Y/N will always be with you. You are not alone." Lu Shang touched his forehead to that of his child. "Y-Yes... Yes... I-I understand...D-Dad..." it was the first time Lu Shang got called 'dad' by his child. He was the happiest he's ever been in his life. "It's the first time... You've called me that. Haha... I am the luckiest man..." he smiled gently. "Fengxian. You are my proudest treasure." he died in his child's embrace, with an accomplished, content smile on his face.
It was the first and only time when Lu Bu would wail to the skies, his heart broken irreversibly from grief and mourning - A cry resounding through heavens, as if it were coming from a dragon.
Throughout the day, Lu Bu wailed, and as the Sun began to set, he had to bury his father. "Fengxian..." Y/N held him the whole day, hoping to ease his pain in some way, though she was well aware that there was nothing to mend a shattered heart.
Everyone mourned, but Lu Bu was the most stricken with grief - He wore his black outfit, unable to look away from the grave. Behind him, he heard the villagers mention a future attack of retaliation from the empire, and how they needed to start fighting. They asked for guidance from Lu Bu, to teach them how to fight like him.
Instead, the boy ate away his own mourning and whistled for his mount, a large warg, jumping on it. "I don't need weaklings. I will devour all the troops." he said, his determination infinite. He was going to find that friend his father spoke of. "Afterwards, I will go west. If the Han army comes, pass that on to them." "Fengxian, wait!" Y/N ran to him, looking up into his empty eyes. "I don't want to lose you." He gave a small smile, offering his hand to her. "Come with me, then." he said. Y/N grinned, not hesitating as she slapped her hand over his own, letting him drag her up on his mount, right in front of him as to not fall over from the speed. "I will follow you to the ends of the world, Fengxian. In life, and in death. How's that sound?" "Sounds fun." he smirked.
Following that, believing in the words of his father, the boy continued to travel decisively, all to find someone worth his time.
Years passed, and Lu Bu never knew the taste of defeat. Him and Y/N would grow together, with him protecting her from anything that might threaten her, whilst Y/N would take care of him - Only he knew, he never did bother changing his clothes, cooking anything tasty or caring for his hair. He was a man, after all. A traveler, a warrior - Why should he care about trivial things? That's how women are, always worrying over little things - Though he couldn't deny, he was enjoying her care over him, to the point that he was purposely getting himself in situations to earn her spoiling treatment, like a sly little cat seeking affection.
He relished in her sweet kisses, loving the feel of her lips all over his face - The most beautiful woman in China was his best friend, his companion, his lover, his family, his most trusted and cherished person. Y/N was his everything. She was the only being he ever loved - And through that, he allowed her to abuse his love for her - Whenever she wanted to kiss, he would kiss her. Whenever he wanted his embrace, he would let her sleep cuddle in his arms. Whenever she wanted his love, he would give it.
For as long as this life keeps him, he will seek strong men to fight, a friend to understand him, and keep Y/N happy.
One day, in Luoyang, they brought one of the Three Jewels of China, the strongest horse to ever exist - Red Hare - The most sinister horse in history, that could run 500 km in one single day. A horse that was never ridden before.
Y/N tugged on Lu Bu's hand as he was munching on a carrot, as she excitedly wanted to see the fierce mount. Without any fear, she walked ignorantly past all the screaming people, and the mangled merchant, and stepped in front of the horse. "Hello, beautiful!" she smiled sweetly, raising her hand up to caress his snout. "You truly are China's most treasured jewel. Red Hare. You are fantastic." the woman's gentle compassion seemed to calm the steed's ferocious hostility. "I have brought you a friend. I am sure you will get along well."
In that moment, human caught the attention of the monstrous horse - It instantly turned to the human because of his odor, the smell of someone strong. "Wanna go?" Lu Bu smirked as he challenged the horse to a race. For the first time in a million years, mankind witnessed a race between a horse and a human. "I'll wait you here, darling!" Y/N cheerfully waved to her childish darling as she went to have her meal at some restaurant.
The man and the horse just kept running as far as they could, until they ran into the merchant and his army who arrowed the animal down - Still, he wasn't about to fall down so easily, and he trampled over the evil man a second time to continue his race, followed by Lu Bu who slapped the man dead to get out of his way.
Fengxian watched with sad eyes as the animal was unable to keep standing anymore. "You can't run anymore, Red Hare?" he picked the large steed on his back, walking him back home, for Y/N to treat. "Let's go home together. Y/N's gonna get worried if we don't return for dinner." seeing the human walking, carrying him on his back; with his body completely exhausted, Red Hare observed his own defeat. "Hey. Can I ride you till your death?" and so, he got his war partner, running together for life. Red Hare's back is made for Lu Bu Fengxian.
Over the course of time, Lu Bu would kill all the people standing in his way, claiming the title of the Strongest Man in China - He destroyed Dong Zhou, and the Seven Grails of Uruk who protected him, and massacred so many who dared attempt to cross him at Hulao Pass, only for Sun Jian Wentai to defeat him by forcing him to cross the self-imposed line he made in the sand.
And so, Lu Bu had found an admirer who looked very similar to his father - And they continued to fight together throughout his life. He simply asked for a friend who could understand him.
The God of War, the Strongest Man in China, the Raging Dragon, the Flying General Lu Bu Fengxian was entirely undefeated.
His greatest distress of all times. Eventually, nothing would stand before him any longer, and in exchange, the number of those following him gradually increased - And so, after 30 years of life, Lu Bu had come to his journey's end; In that moment he realised that under all heavens, there was no longer anything stronger than he.
"I'm done with life." Lu Bu told Y/N one night as they sat by the edge of a cliff. "I can't take it any longer. Disappointment after disappointment. There is no one left to fight. I have reached the pinnacle of strength." "Then, you wish for death in hopes of finding a worthy foe amongst the Gods?" Y/N hummed, looking up at the stars. "Yes. I will let Cao Cao capture me." he spoke bluntly. "Will you let me follow you?" Lu Bu looked down at the calm woman dangling her feet from the edge. "I haven't forgotten your promise to me - But you are still young. Are you sure you wish to forsake your life, just to be with me in heavens?" his voice was as gruff as always. Y/N looked up at him with a sweet smile. "Of course. What's the meaning of life without the one you cherish?" Fengxian let out an amused huff. "I have a single request from you, though." "What is it?" "I want you to be the one to take my life and deliver me into the next." Lu Bu rose a questioning eyebrow. "I don't want to end up as Cao Cao's slave or plaything. They won't just kill me. That's the life of a woman... So - Will you offer me this kindness? Will you let me wait for you in the skies? I promise I'll tell Lu Shang you've been a good boy." she giggled sweetly. The man huffed, looking up at the sky with a smile. "I won't let you wait too long. Take care of Red Hare until I come." "Of course I will."
Fengxian got up to leave for a few minutes, only to return with a beautiful flower crown, which he placed on her head. "As beautiful as always." he knelt down in front of her, pulling her into a strong embrace. "Forgive me, Y/N. For everything." he whispered in her ear. "There is nothing to forgive, my darling." her sweet voice shattered his heart. "I love you, Fengxian." "I love you, Y/N."
Lu Bu pulled her into a deep kiss, keeping her mind away as he drove the dagger into her heart, and he deepened the bittersweet kiss tainted by the metallic taste of blood as she died in his arms with a smile on her face. Just like his dad. "Wait for me, Y/N. I'll be there soon." he cried once again, for the second time in his life, as he buried his dearest friend at the base of a flowering magnolia tree.
Thus, Lu Bu allowed himself to get captures, and as he looked at the noose, he yawned loudly. "Oi, just hurry up and end it, will ya? What's takin' so long? You're borin' me to death here. Y/N's waiting for me."
As promised, Y/N was there, waiting for Lu Bu to come to her, followed by Gong Chen and his faithful army. For a while, the afterlife was an eternal peace - A boring one - Until a woman called Brunhilde came over with a most exciting proposal - Fight a God, for the sake of humanity. Of course, Fengxian couldn't care less about mankind's fate - He cared only about fighting a most fearsome opponent like he experienced nowhere else on earth.
And thus, he became the first human to fight the Mighty Thor, using the spear made from a Valkyrie's body and soul morphing into the soulbound weapon.
For the first time in his entire life, Lu Bu was truly happy, excited, thrilled even, to be fighting a man equal in strength, or perhaps even stronger than him. A God of War, just like himself. He was beyond a shadow of doubt so enthusiastic to fight Thor at his strongest, without his gloves on, and with that large hammer pulsating with life - Thor considered him a worthy foe, a friend even. He wasn't just a 'human' anymore in his eyes. He was Lu Bu, Thor's friend and his mightiest opponent he's ever faced, with both of them smiling truly for the first time, facing each other.
In this battle, Thor would display his finest smile, and Lu Bu would meet it with his worst.
Though he would manage to injure Thor himself, he blocked his strongest hit yet - At the cost of his own tibia bones breaking, causing him to fall on the ground. Whilst Gong Chen and his army were weeping loudly, Y/N ran to the stables where Red Hare was being kept, and rode him into the arena. She smiled down at him, extending her hand to him.
"My dearest friend, we vowed to live and die together, didn't we? Red Hare and I haven't changed our hearts about you. So - Will you allow us to accompany you for the last time?"
With incredibly strength, Lu Bu used his halberd to get back up and slapped his hand over Y/N's much smaller one as she helped him get up on Red Hare's back.
"Y/N. Red Hare. In this moment, I ask you - Would you entrust your life to me?" the man asked, readying his weapon, happy to be allowed to use his most perfected technique against a worthy foe - The Sky Eater. After thousands of years, Lu Bu finally met the man who could take the brunt of this strike. "Always."
Lu Bu instinctively knew that the next swing would be the strongest in his entire life - And indeed, Thor also felt the exact same way. Thor's Hammer against Sky Eater.
In this exchange, Fengxian's left arm was ripped off, while the left was half torn. "Fengxian." Y/N called out as the man bit off his dangling arm. "Red Hare became your legs. Allow me to become your arms." Y/N said, holding the halberd clumsily. "Silly woman, you never held a weapon in your entire life." the man grinned widely at her. "About time, huh?" she said. "Are you happy, my love?" "I gave it everything I had. This... This right here - This is what true joy is, huh?" he chuckled lightly, kicking Red Hare's side. "What would I know? My joy is seeing you happy for the first time."
As Thor struck his hammer, both Y/N and Fengxian were killed at the exact same time, their bodies destroyed and toppling over to the ground in a pool of blood.
Thor looked down at his opponent, smiling - Those 16 minutes of their fight were the happiest he's ever been in his long existence. What a worthy man - Truly the strongest humanity ever had.
The Gods celebrated their victory, while the humans toasted in honor of the greatest general to ever live - But Red Hare and Gong Chen were griefing. "Red Hare, I feel your pain. Heaven or Earth, a land without Milord already holds no value to us. We shall follow him!" Lu Bu's entire army was right behind the strategist and the Jewel Steed. "We're coming, Milord!" the soldiers wept as they rushed into their last, honorary battle. "We are the army of Lu Bu! We follow our general, no matter how many deaths we face! Prepare thyself!" the army attacked, knowing very well the outcome. Thor smiled, his heart trembling with emotion and thrill. "Very well. I'll send you as offerings in his name - To Lu Bu." "To hear Milord's name resonating alongside Thunder...!" Gong Chen, Red Hare, and everyone else experienced the greatest honour of their life, following Lu Bu and Y/N in death, forever, with smiles on their faces.
Though their souls were shattered and reduced to dust in the vacuum of space, unable to return to the cycle of reincarnation, none regretted their actions. Their greatest joy finally appeared in front of them - Seeing their most beloved person truly happy.
For Fengxian and Y/N death was not a cruel end, but the happiest outcome that could befall them. With smiles on their faces and hearts filled with love and bliss - Together, forever, be it life, death, samsara or nothingness - No matter what form their bodies take, or even if their souls are no more - Somehow, Fengxian and Y/N's happiness rang eternal over all realms, like a gentle, warm breeze in Spring.
The strong bond of a most cherished friend.

this ficlet is a part of a bigger fic im writing about syzoth and ashrah. this part right here is the story of how syzoth lost his son and wife. 1,789 words long. i hope you like it. if you would like to read the whole thing, you can find the chapters i have posted so far here.
Syzoth laid a gentle hand on Kaiyon's forehead. Layara had taught him that this was a quick and simple way to assess the health of a warmblood. Judging by how his son's forehead was warmer than it normally was, coupled with the coughing fits he would have every so often, Syzoth could tell his illness was not getting any better. This was by no means the first time Kaiyon had fallen ill, but this was the first time his illness had become this severe, or lasted this long.
Syzoth looked up from where he sat on the edge of Kaiyon's bed to watch as his wife paced back and forth. That was a habit of hers, when she began to feel restless. "I can't think of what else we could be doing," she murmured to herself. Syzoth was silent as he wracked his brain. Kaiyon was half Zaterran and half human; a rarity. Though he and Layara combined all the money they had together, they had no luck finding any doctors who knew how to treat him, or even wanted to for that matter. The only other options they could turn to were home remedies. Layara halted her pacing and turned to face Syzoth. "And you are sure there are no other Zaterran remedies we could try…?" she asked with desperation.
Syzoth sighed and shook his head. "I'm positive," he said for the 50th time. Though really, he couldn't blame her for her insistence. She was just as anxious for her son to have his health back as he was.
Syzoth's attention moved back to their son when he let out a weak whimper and shifted where he laid. Careful not to disturb his restless sleep, Syzoth reached over to sweep away the scales that he had shed in his weakened state. He wanted to make sure that Kaiyon was as comfortable as possible. When he turned back to his wife, he found her crouched before him and looking up at him with pleading eyes.
"Can we please take him to see Shang Tsung now?" she asked.
Syzoth shifted where he sat in response to the idea. Shang Tsung had been a trusted friend toward the both of them. Unlike most other humans, he embraced Syzoth's differences, and later on, his son's. And in turn, Syzoth and Layara supported his journey toward becoming a scholar and sorcerer. However, Syzoth felt something change in their relationship when he refused to allow Shang Tsung to study his shapeshifting abilities. He felt it an odd and invasive proposition. He couldn't quite put a claw on it, but the idea now of allowing Shang Tsung to be that close to his son made Syzoth uneasy.
"I'm…not sure, Layara…" he murmured.
"Please, Syzoth," she implored. "He knows magic and biology. Surely there is something he could do." Layara leaned forward and rested her head on his lap. "I can't bare the thought of losing him."
Syzoth looked down at the top of her head as a battle between his heart and his brain ensued. Ultimately, his heart won out. A subconscious hand glided through her hair before he sighed. "Very well, let's go see him.
"Papa…?" Kaiyon mewled as Syzoth picked him up.
"We're taking you to see Uncle Shang Tsung," he informed his son as he cradled his young form against him. "He's going to help you get well." Kaiyon had already fallen back to sleep, Syzoth was unsure if he even heard what he said.
Shang Tsung was more than happy to take Kaiyon in. Before sending Syzoth and Layara away, he asked that the two return the next morning to see their son's promised miraculous recovery.
They did just that.
The door locked behind them soon after they entered the chamber Kaiyon was to stay in. To Syzoth and Layara's horror, their son appeared less than a patient and more as a hostage.
"Shang Tsung?!" Syzoth called incredulously as he attempted to comprehend the sight of Kaiyon, bound, gagged, and in tears, with Shang Tsung standing behind him with a hand on the child's shoulder. Layara stood stunned, her hands over her mouth and silent, rapid tears going down her face. The fires of the Netherrealm did not compare to the anger that coursed through Syzoth's blood. With as much speed as he could muster, Syzoth allowed his true Zaterran form to appear. "What is the meaning of this? Release my son at once!" he demanded through bared teeth.
Before Syzoth could take a step forward, Shang Tsung flipped the claws at his wrist forward, with the tips pressed against Kaiyon's neck. Kaiyon met Syzoth's gaze with eyes that reflected fear that petrified Syzoth, willing him to stop where he stood. "Ah ah ah, not another step," Shang Tsung commanded with a calm voice and a wicked smirk.
Syzoth returned to his humanoid form and fell to his knees. "No, please, don't hurt him," he begged. He stared up at Shang Tsung with confusion and betrayal in his eyes. "I thought us to be friends. Why are you doing this? He's just a boy."
"You forced my hand, Syzoth," he said with a shrug before both of his hands moved behind his back. "My studies would not be complete without knowledge of shapeshifting and you, my supposed friend, and the only one I know who has the ability, refused to willingly allow me to study you." So it's…my fault…? Was Shang Tsung like this all along? How could neither he nor Layara have noticed?
Syzoth's nose wrinkled and his lips curled to bare his teeth as he watched Shang Tsung look back and hold Kaiyon's face in his hand, with one finger pressing into one of his cheeks and his thumb pressing into the other. "I wonder if this little one has shapeshifting abilities I could study in your stead."
Syzoth's skin began to crawl at the sight. He looked back at his wife, who was still standing in shock. He turned back to Shang Tsung with defeat in his eyes. "Stop. Please. You can study my shapeshifting. You can have anything you want." He fell to his hands and hung his head. "Just please don't hurt my son."
"You think yourself in a position to bargain?" Shang Tsung snickered. Syzoth looked up to meet his gaze but said nothing. An amused cruelty flashed through Shang Tsung's eyes that send chills down Syzoth's spine. "How cute."
Syzoth opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. After a moment, he slowly shook his head. "…I don't understand…"
"Of course you don't," Shang Tsung mocked before letting go of Kaiyon's face and stepping forward with his hands behind his back. "You will be allowing me to study you. But it will be on my terms." He began to look around as he contemplate what the terms would be. "You will do as I say, when I say it, with no questions asked. And you will not be allowed to leave my facility until I am satisfied," he said, then pausing to think over his own words before nodding with satisfaction. One of his hands moved from behind his back to make a loose closed fist close to his face, a mannerism Syzoth had quickly learned to associate with Shang Tsung. He looked at Layara with the grin of a predator watching its prey. "Layara and Kaiyon will serve as collateral."
"No!" Syzoth roared. "This is between the two of us. Leave them out of this!"
Shang Tsung pursed his lips and gave a quick shake of his head. "If you would rather see me take both their lives here and now, I would be more than happy to oblige."
Syzoth stood up and gritted his teeth before looking back at Layara. She looked at him speechlessly. He was desperate to hear her voice. Then again, what could be expect her to say? He faced forward and his eyes fell on Kaiyon as his mind raced. He had no idea how long he stood there in silence for. Time moved both too slowly and too quickly in that room. Finally, Syzoth broke the silence. "If I do as you say…and I do it to your satisfaction as you stated…will I have them back…?"
Shang Tsung tilted his head as his lips turned up into a smarmy smile. "You have my word that you will be reunited with your family."
Syzoth turned this over in his head as his heart grew heavier and heavier. He looked back at his wife again, only to find that her eyes were on the ground. Why couldn't I just have said yes willingly when I had the chance? He faced forward again with a dissatisfied look and a sigh. "Alright then."
Shang Tsung gave a small chuckle. "Excellent."
"But first," Syzoth said with pleading, dejected eyes. "Can I just have one more moment with them?"
"Very well, then," he said, his expression quick to change to annoyance. "Make it quick."
Once the three were left alone in the room, both Syzoth and Layara rushed forward to their son. Syzoth removed the cloth that gagged him. His hands rested on Kaiyon's shoulders as he frantically looked the child up and down. "Did he hurt you?"
Kaiyon could only weep and whimper in response, too much in shock to know how to answer.
"I'm scared…I want to go home…" he eventually said with a weak voice. Syzoth's heart shattered. How could Shang Tsung stand sleeping at night knowing he put this sort of fear in a child?
Syzoth embraced his family as closely as he could. He felt their tears warm the fabric of his clothes as he himself wept.
"I'm so sorry," he apologized. "This is all my fault. I could have avoided all of this."
Layara shifted back to look at him and shake her head. "No. This is no one's fault but Shang Tsung's. What he is doing is nothing short of barbaric."
Syzoth looked between the two of them, hoping he could at least get his fill of seeing their faces before he was forced to separate from them. "I love you both more than anything." He kissed Kaiyon's still-warm forehead and then Layara's. "Take care of and protect each other. I promise we will get through this, and we will meet again." He turned to Kaiyon and caressed both of his cheeks. "Be strong. Don't let him see that you are scared. I need you to protect Mama for me. Do you understand?" Kaiyon swallowed before wordlessly nodding. After one last embrace, Syzoth forced himself to look away from them as he stood to exit the room after Shang Tsung, leaving Layara and Kaiyon behind.

CQL/MDZS INSP Kemonomimi AU: Rise and Shine! (V2)
CAPTIONS AS TEXT
- One morning in Pagoda Isles…. - As usual, Lan WangJi rises promptly before dawn, to start his daily routine. - Ah, refreshing yoga and meditation! - LWJ's oldest son, Lan SiZhui, is a dutiful child; who wakes early and is dressed and ready for another day at school. LWJ tells LSZ that his breakfast is warm and waiting for him. And his baba packed his school lunch last night. - LWJ's husband, Wei WuXian, is not a morning person by any means, and eventually claws his way out of bed, looking for kisses from his Cultivation Partner and their children. "Where are my little radishes~?" - After LSZ finishes his breakfast, he goes upstairs to wait for the school bus. - LWJ looks around his sons' bedroom--especially LSZ's unmade bed--and sighs. He knows he should make the boy clean up his own mess, but he's weak and proud of it! - WWX and LSZ bond over a few rounds of video games, before the school bus horn finally sounds downstairs. - LSZ kisses his parents and baby brother goodbye, and rushes to the bus to begin a new adventure for the day. "Bye Baba! Bye Papa!" Baba WWX calls out, "Have a good day at school, Radish!" Papa LWJ says "Mn. Be good for your teachers, Baobei." - WWX needs to get to work soon, so LWJ takes their baby boy A-Yuan downstairs with him to his music room. - The sound of AY giggling as he bashes away at his xylophone is music to LWJ's ears. - Meanwhile, WWX enters his studio. He'd warmed up with his son, but now he was ready to CRUSH it. His title as a professional competitive gamer and streamer depended on it! - "Welcome to my channel, this is the Yiling Laozu! Get Good, or die trying!" - Over-reactor streamer! Work hard, and play harder!
MY THOUGHTS & CC CREDITS
MY THOUGHTS
I've been veeeeery slowly working on this gameplay alongside my regular Untamed/MDZS gameplay. There's a billion WangXian fanfics/fanarts with dragon!LWJ, huli-jing!WWX, or bunny!LSZ/AY, so I kinda blended those AUs together--don't ask how a dragon and a fox create rabbit children--when you've Cultivated to immortality, anything's possible! 😅
I also wanted A-Yuan & Lan Sizhui to be 2 separate kids, so I could play with different ages. I've teased LSZ in my other MDZS posts/preview pics, but this is the first time I've shown him and A-Yuan.
In my Kemonomimi/Modern AU, WangXian left Shang Simla to live in Pagoda Isles with their kids. LWJ is a world famous concert pianist & qin player; and WWX's a full-time videogame streamer.
CC CREDITS
Pagoda Isle world (X); I gutted the interior of one of the lots.
I used SO many mods by @twinsimming and @thesweetsimmer111--thank y'all for all the amazing improvements to TS3!
I have like every TSS mod installed; I'm not even sure what does what anymore, LOL.
LWJ was using Twin's Yoga mod, and WWX was using their Livestreaming & Videogame mod, with @martassimsbookcc's Get Famous conversion set.
Also, shoutout to this adorable Anime Clouds mod at MTS!

feyre: you're such a shitty dad, i can't believe you would betray such an amazing, beautiful, gorgeous man, who i totally don't have any feelings for, like that
um feyre aren't you supposed to be fighting this dude cuz he's gonna kill the emperor, priorities girlie!

The Lin Kuei's Grandmaster vs A Soul-Stealing Sorcerer
Additional tags: Shang Tsung is an Asshole, Blind Character, Blindfolds, Collars, Leashes, Slight BDSM, Attempted Rape/Non-Con, Bottom Johnny Cage, Top Shang Tsung, Top Bi-Han, Slight Humor, Tomas is a Sweetheart, Kung Lao is a Dumbass, Tomas & Bi-Han friendship
💙⑅*˖•. ·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙·̩̩̥͙*̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙ .•˖*⑅💙
Shang Tsung was in love with his fiance.
The sorcerer hadn't made it obvious but he had a sneaking suspicion about his feelings towards his fiance.
Bi-Han wasn't sure for how long but he heard Takahashi say something about the sorcerer looking at Johnny with desire, greed and hunger ever since he was blinded.
Just the mere thought filled Bi-Han with rage. He hasn't been this angry since his argument with Takahashi.
But now, he finally gets the opportunity to beat Shang Tsung black and blue during this very mission. Johnny had taken the last stand, according to Takahashi, and allowed himself to be captured to save his allies; getting stabbed through the stomach by General Shao and nearly dying in the process.
After hearing this, Bi-Han's eyes were full of uncontrollable rage and his aura was enlaced with murderous, baneful, bloody and destructive intent. Tomas and Kuai Liang had sent him concerned looks as even without the ability to sense auras, they could still feel the murderous aura he was letting out.
Bi-Han was brought to the present by a hand on his shoulder.
Ashrah.
Johnny and the demoness had gotten closer after their mission on Earthrealm and defeating Ashrah's sister.
"You should calm yourself, Bi-Han. Being so full of rage will not help us rescue Johnny." She politely advised.
Truthfully, she was not supposed to join them on this mission. She was supposed to watch Cassie(for she is the only other person Bi-Han trusts with Cassie, besides Kuai Liang and Tomas) as Kung Lao, Kenshi, Bi-Han, Kuai Liang, Tomas, Syzoth and Raiden are all going on this mission.
But Liu Kang himself had offered to watch Cassie in their absence. It was surprising but not unexpected. Bi-Han knew the god was fond of his daughter.
Liu Kang opened a portal in front of them leading to the outside of Shang Tsung's castle.
"Dad?" He heard his daughter call out from behind Liu Kang's leg, "please bring papa back safely." She quietly begged.
Bi-Han walked over to Cassie, kneeling to her height and removed his mask.
"I promise, Cassandra. I will bring him back to us." He promised his daughter with a kiss to her forehead, she smiled at this action.
Her smile was a copy of Johnny's.
Bi-Han could feel the eyes of everyone on him, not used to the usually so cold and stoic Grandmaster showing affection so publicly.
Bi-Han stood back up and put his mask back on, turning back and walking towards the portal with the other kombatants moving aside to make way for him, some slightly bowing their head.
Time to save his fiance.
─────────ೋღ💜ღೋ─────────
Johnny was in so much pain.
He hasn't been in this much pain since he was blinded by Mileena. Or since Alala trained him.
The heavy golden collar around his neck was a pain and he had nothing to do but play with the gold chain of the collar or sleep.
Ever since his capture, he was forced to wear a yellow crossed turtleneck crop top, a gold body chain attached to his neck and right shoulder, black high slit harem pants with another gold chain wrapped around his waist, a gold bracelet with rings on his right hand, a gold with three rings on his left hand and black leather shoes with straps that crossed over his feet. Hell, even his blindfold was replaced with an acidic green one.
The color scheme perfectly matched Shang Tsung's and Johnny had to admit; he looks good in this outfit. But he'll look even better if it had Bi-Han's color scheme.
Johnny was brought out of his musing by the door opening.
"Did you miss me, my dear?"
Shang Tsung.
Oh yeah, did he mention he has been forced to sleep in Shang Tsung's room?
"No. I was actually in peace when you were gone."
"Hm, shame. I quite missed you."
The sorcerer walked over to him and his hands clung to the star's waist.
Johnny felt the sorcerer's hot breath caress his collar bone and suddenly his mouth was suddenly sucking on it.
Johnny wanted to punch him or at at least push him off but he knew he couldn't.
The whip marks marring his back proved that.
So he just layed back and allows Shang Tsung to do whatever.
"Get the fuck away from my fiance." A very deep voice said.
✧༺💚༻✧
Shang Tsung stopped his advances and turned to look behind himself.
Bi-Han.
"Always trying to ruin my fun, Sub-Zero?"
"Fun? That is my fiance you are currently touching.."
The sorcerer pushed himself away from the star, despite his displeasure to do so.
Fiance?
They were to be married? In such short time?
That made Shang Tsung's blood boil.
There was silence for several seconds before they dashed at the other, slamming his forearm with his claws deployed against the Grandmaster's ice engulfed one.
"You insolent little-"
"Are you jealous I am to marry the greatest man in Earthrealm and you do not?"
The sorcerer sent a strong surge of fiery energy that pushed the Grandmaster far, but he stopped himself by creating a spear of ice which he pulled out of the floor and thrusted at him.
The sorcerer taunted him by swinging and slashing around the air before stopping and getting into a battle stance.
Bi-Han was the first to give a hit but it was swiftly dodged by him.
✩.・*:。≻───── ⋆💜⋆ ─────.•*:。✩
Johnny felt the surges of energy and listened to the sounds of punches and kicks being exchanged.
The star coats his hands in a thin layer of red energy and he places it on the chain of the collar. When he heard the collar crack, he coats his hands in much thicker layers of energy.
Eventually, the collar broke off entirely. He massaged his neck for a bit before turning back to the two who were still fighting.
"Johnny, help the others! I'll deal with him." Bi-Han told him and Johnny nodded before engulfing his entire body in red energy and attemped to use super speed to get out but was stopped by other collar wrapping around his neck.
"You cannot leave now. Not after all the effort I put into capturing you." Shang Tsung said.
The chain was frozen by a thick layer of ice and was kicked broken by Bi-Han. The Grandmaster punched the sorcerer square in the cheek, breaking his skin causing him to bleed.
"Get out, Johnny!" He firmly told the star.
Johnny got up again but Bi-Han was sent flying to the far right wall by a strong surge of energy and was stopped again by cuffs around his wrists and was dragged right back to Shang Tsung.
Johnny, on his knees, looked up at the looking figure that is Shang Tsung. "You are not going anywhere, my dear." He said with a lascivious smirk.
Shang Tsung was then aggressively tackled to the floor by Bi-Han and there they wrestled.
"Go Johnny!" Bi-Han yelled.
Johnny got up once more but instead of running off he tackled Shang Tsung, who was on top of Bi-Han.
He repeatedly punched Shang Tsung in the face. But was sent back by a green surge of energy.
Quan-Chi.
"It seems your sweetheart is angry." He mockingly told Shang Tsung.
"Keep your mouth shut." The sorcerer firmly told his colleague.
Bi-Han grabbed Johnny by the hand and pulled him up.
"Why didn't you leave?" Bi-Han firmly asked.
"There was no was in hell I was letting you fight him alone." Johnny replied just as firmly.
Johnny could feel Bi-Han looking him up and down, either judging the outfit or because of his response. But he heard him turn away and get back into a fighting stance, Johnny did the same and surrounded his body in red energy.
The two sorcerers at the opposite side of the room also got into fighting stances.
Johnny sent an energy blast towards Quan-Chi but the sorcerer created a portal and sent it outside.
Bi-Han created spikes of ice at the Shang Tsung but he quickly dodged and sent a surge of magic to Bi-Han but was absorbed and redirected by Johnny, causing it to hit Quan-Chi instead.
They continued to exchange blows for a bit before they were interrupted by someone yelling.
"Bi-Han!"
Kenshi Takahashi.
▬▬ι═══════>💀<═══════ι▬▬
"Bi-Han! You and Johnny have to get out! Tomas placed two bombs within the castle!" Kenshi yelled to the Grandmaster and Seido Warrior.
Tomas in question looked proud of himself, arms crossed with a smirk, for bringing a fucking demolition bomb and C4. Apparently, those bombs have been sitting in Tomas' pockets, waiting to be used, for over four-fucking-weeks.
No one bothered asking why, how and when Tomas got those bombs.
Syzoth looked like he wanted to ask because he opened his fanged mouth but was quickly stopped by Scorpion.
"Don't. You do not want to know." He told the Zatteran.
Syzoth was silent for a few beats. "Very well then.." He then said.
Kenshi rolled his eyes, "The bomb will explode in 15 seconds!" He yelled once more to the soon-to-be married couple.
"Wait- 15 seconds? I thought it was 20 seconds!" Kung Lao asked, or rather, yelled.
Kenshi face-palmed while Scorpion dropped to the grass in pure agony of Kung Lao's stupidity.
"Kung Lao, my dearest friend, my most loyal companion, my greatest ally.. 5 seconds have already passed." Raiden explained to his friend.
Kung Lao looked like he just found out the biggest secret in all of the timelines. "Ohh! Okay, sorry guys!" He rubbed the back of his neck with an awkward smile.
Suddenly the sound of glass shattering caught their attention.
In front of them, Johnny glowing red with Bi-Han in his arms; being held bridal style.
....::::**•°❄❇☸❇❄°•**::::....
Wha- two bombs?
How? Wh-why??
Did they not think about the people inside the building???
Speaking of such, Shang Tsung and Quan-Chi left the room when Takahashi yelled; probably to find and dismantle the bombs.
"Bi-Han," Johnny called, "I have an easy way to get down but you won't like it." His fiance admitted.
.
.
.
"No."
"Bi, c'mon! You seriously want to take the stairs?"
"I would much rather take the stairs-"
"And die?! I don't know about you but I would like to live until our wedding and have children with you."
Bi-Han blushed at the idea of having children with Johnny.
"Fi.. Fine..." Bi-Han quietly agreed.
Johnny glowed red and he picked the Grandmaster up like a sack of potatoes, slightly stepping back to create momentum and Johnny sprinted.
Bi-Han hid his face within Johnny's neck to shield his face from the glass shards.
Johnny hit the ground on his knees with a light thud.
Strangely enough, Kuai Liang was on his forearms and knees, Kung Lao was rubbing his neck with an embarrassed and awkward smile while Takahashi had face-palmed himself.
Johnny gently put Bi-Han down, allowing the Grandmaster to get on back his feet.
"Brother! Are you alright?" Tomas asked.
"Yes, Tomas, I am quite alright." Bi-Han replied.
Suddenly a loud explosion was heard.
Actually, scratch that.
Two loud explosions were heard; one to the left and the other to the right.
Everyone watched as the explosions destroyed Shang Tsung's castle.
Deserved.
-----HEADCANON W/ AUTHOR'S NOTE-----
• Johnny's powers are multi-colored with each color giving Johnny a certain power.
- red = battle
- orange = strength/super strength
- yellow = speed/super speed
- green = healing
- blue = empathy(Johnny can feel what a person is feeling but he can also manipulate emotions)
- indigo = mediumship(Johnny can basically talk to ghosts)
- violet = pain(Johnny can cause third, maybe even fourth, degree burns if he is violet)
- black = destruction(Johnny can destroy anything)
The reason for this is because I'm indecisive. I wanted to give Johnny his green powers but a different color and I couldn't decide which one. Also, I know black isn't in ROYGBIV but I googled "colors that mean destruction" and that's what popped up.
These are what inspired Johnny's outfit:
This one is yellow☝️
The outer part is black while the inner is acidic green☝️
Just remove the flippin' Nike logo☝️
Now for the accessories:
This one's gold☝️
this one's gold and is on his other hand☝️
I might make a fic explaining how Johnny was blinded, how he was stabbed by General Shao and revived by Shang Tsung and the argument between Kenshi and Bi-Han.
And another thing. This isn't canon to my headcanons; after Johnny was stabbed in the chest(yes, chest not stomach), he was supposed to face Shao's army alone, fight Reiko, die for two weeks, get saved by my demonic OC, revived and reunited with his friends.
And one more thing. Alala is an OC- she was the one who trained Johnny when he was in Seido. She is also a member of the Karlatun Clan. Alala's name is a Greek name meaning "war-cry".

:3c Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love❤
1.
and i’m reminded of the simple life (where I work and just be used) (SVSSS) Shang Qinghua
It’s my Shang Qinghua superwhump fic with an overlaying plot that evolved from a one shot I had written one morning over coffee before work a few years ago. I never anticipated it growing into something of this scale. Through this fic, I’ve been able to explore certain characters and their motivations and behaviors in ways I wouldn’t in other stories. It’s great fun for me <3
2.
Shakespeare in the Park (Skyrim) Dominic Moriah (OC)
My good old insert-OC Dominic and his adventures in Skyrim, transmigration gamer style. This one is a story I’ve been working off and on for YEARS and I still have so much planned for it. I’ve barely even started m. The fact i have gotten so many comments on this fic along the lines of “I don’t even go here (skyrim) but I love this story” is mind boggling. I hope my writing was able to inspire someone to play the game at least once 👀
Plus, Dominic as a character is just so much fun to write. And, gratifyingly, I have been told he’s also very fun to read.
3.
Ear to the Wall (Naruto) Hatake Kakashi
Ah, my baby. One of my most successful fics ever. Topping the charts of my statistics. Raking in the bread (I wish lmao).
The fact that this story, too, started from just a one shot of a vague idea I had one day and somehow snowballed into this absolute monstrosity that so many people love is what I live for as a writer. So many people nuts enjoy reading about sick baby Kakashi tumbling blindly through his own time travel fix-it, and it breathes life into me every day.
4.
above, and beyond, and below (MDZS) Su She (OC-Insert)
Genuinely I am so proud of the way I’ve written this story. I can reread it and come across barely any points in which I feel like rewriting, which is rare! The pacing, the emotion, the character voices, the implications of future plot points… I wanna chef kiss myself with tongue for the great job I’ve been doing with this story.
Plus, the amount of people who have raged at me for making them cry with this one specifically is how I survive in this cold and cruel world 💖
5.
bundle up tight (American Dragon Jake Long) Jake
Listen, this fandom could use some new blood. Not people, I mean, just stories — I mean, the world building potential alone! It deserves more attention. The sandbox is unlimited and there’s room for more people to build castles next to my small and humble home.
I’ll come back myself and read this one, and it always brings me joy. Nostalgia paired with my own ideas in writing it just makes me feel cozy.
Honorable mentions:
Pelsitheos (Percy Jackson) Percy [time travel, canon overhaul, character motivation focus, collecting adoptable characters] WIP
cornered animals bear their teeth (SVSSS) Shang Qinghua [throat tearing, badass SQH, infatuated MBJ, just 😏] COMPLETE
Attempt #2 (Trash of the Count’s Family) Cale Henituse|Kim Rok Soo [protective papa Eruhaben, best big brother Alberu, Cale Henituse Protection Squad] COMPLETE

SVSSS au where everything about PIDW is the same, but Shang Qinhua and Shen Yuan were half brothers before transmigrating. Papa Shen had an affair but his wife eventually forgave him. To SQH SY is the family his father abandoned him for, fir SY SQH is the child that nearly tore his family apart. So when Cucunber and Airplane meet and realise each other's real identities, instead of immediately being besties and collaborating for the sun and dew mushrooms they hate each other,
I think with Shang Qinghua's insecurities and inferiority complex (because yes the hamster totally has an inferiority complex), it wouldn't be so much that Shen Yuan is representative of what his biological father abandoned him for but rather just that he was unwanted - a dirty secret - and his biological father went back to the riches and perfect life that he had wanting for him.
Anyways, Shang Qinghua grew up never knowing his biological father, only of the things that his mother claimed was true about his father, pointing to newspaper clippings, and all of that.
In terms of timing, it would make more sense that Shang Qinghua is older than Shen Yuan and that Shen Yuan's father came crawling back when he learns that his real wife is pregnant (and then the gut wrenching discovery that his newborn son Shen Yuan is very sickly and all that.)
Or... it's precisely that Shen Yuan was born sickly that his dad wanted some "normalcy" so he had an affair and a perfectly healthy baby? An older Shen Yuan who want criticize and point out all the issues of a younger writer makes a lot of sense to me - imagine Shang Qinghua being a teenager trying to make extra money because his mom doesn't do shit to pay their rent and buy groceries. Ok, I like this a whole lot more. It's now real ironic that Shang Qinghua becomes the older one of the two since he transmigrates into a baby.
And Shen Yuan lives with the knowledge that his father had an affair and in terms of timing, it was probably his fault. This is why he's not particularly close to either of his parents or his siblings. (Maybe he had a fight with his siblings and then someone slung out "well if it wasn't for you, father wouldn't have cheated!")
Anyways, when Shen Yuan and Shang Qinghua realize just who each other are (in terms of sibling relationships), both of their raging insecurities and inferiority complexes come out as anger and things go wack. Oh boy, the angst potential here-
#Shang Qinghua and Shen Yuan were half brothers before transmigration - Shang Qinghua was an affair baby AU#svsss#svsss ideas#svsss au#the scum villain's self saving system#mxtx#shen yuan#shang qinghua#shen qingqiu

🦖: What can your fictional caregiver do to get you into your regression headspace?
Like the answer before I have a few Caregivers but I'll stick with the current two that are on my mind
Mk 11 Liu Kang
Just having him call me "little one" would be enough especially if I'm fussy or sad or happy just anytime I'm showing signs of slipping into that headspace he would just know and gently guide me to that comfort zone that I need . He's give me a fond look and speak gently his voice is so soothing guys like ...if he looked at me and called me "little one" while making sure I was comfy and happy I wouldn't be as stressed as I am now . He would make a great CG not to just me but to others as well ( I headcannon he would take care of Bi-Han[mk 1] , Shang Tsung[mk 1], Raiden[mk 1], Kung Lao[both 11 and 1] and any other kiddo that might want comfort that he would wanna provide of course but thats a whole other post lol 😅)
X-Men Wolverine
Just having him smile at me and call me "Kiddo/Kid" that term of endearment (and my nickname) make me so happy expecially coming from him he's my papa bear and I'm his kiddo . Him just holding my hand and and being all sweet and cuddly headpats and poking my nose is fun and messing with my hair like tussling it . I'd know he's getting me into that headspace when he's a bit more playful and less serious. Making me feel all warm and cosy and happy.

Farewell Little Love, Hello Red.
A/N: This is the backstory of Alora seeing Shang Tsung kill her dad and ultimately ending up in the BD 🤪
Warnings: blood and gore
It splattered on the broken pieces of pillar around them.
Painted the sand beneath with a splotchy pattern.
Dyed her already auburn hair into a darker shade in certain spots, matting and clumping it into thick sections.
The taste was bitter and coppery on her tongue, teeth stained bright with it soon melting away into a muted flavor.
It was worse when the iron smell filled her nose, so much that it started to make her eyes water from the sheer intensity.
The sticky red substance filling her sight, taste, touch and smell. If she took a moment to think about it, she could probably hear it flowing through her ears as well.
But were her tears from her entire self being flooded by pure rage or from the gruesome scene she just witnessed mere seconds ago?
Fate was so cruel, using a nine year reunion as a reason to pit a father and daughter against each other in such a brutal environment and having their lives on the line. Kyro had delivered a powerful kick to his daughter’s chest, sending her sliding across the sand on her feet. She coughed up blood, wiping her mouth with the back of her wrist before collapsing to her hands and knees, wobbly and shaky. She was beyond exhausted, not wanting to continue and hoping that the Emperor and Sorcerer took her pose as defeat and end this fight. She looked up, her father standing there equally as tired and in that moment she wanted to propel herself into his arms, to be held by him again. Her foot just barely settled against the ground, ‘papa’ just forming on her lips when she saw Shang Tsung and several Tarkatans emerge and gather behind Kyro.
He had turned to look, quickly glancing back to his daughter and mouthing three words, his hand coming to rest on his heart.
“My Little Love.”
She choked back a cry, her stomach twisting and churning as she watched Shang Tsung snatch her father by the collar of his torn shirt, bringing him face to face with a sneer on his thin lips.
“Your soul is mine!”
Tsung’s hand rose, reeling back and had started to extract Kyro’s soul right into his own body with the poor man’s screams ripping from his throat. When Alora had finally collected herself and stood up it was too late, several of the Emperors lackeys attempting to hold her back but were no match for the untamed anger coursing through her. She watched as Kyro’s body hit the ground as nothing but a skeletal heap, pouncing on the sorcerer with her fingers plunging into his eye sockets.
The world around her faded into a silent blur (she doesn’t know how long it’s been) her blue grey eyes dead set on deforming the sorcerers face into a disgusting pulp. The cheers from the crowd fell on deaf ears, a muffled hum in her head the more she smashed her knuckles into Shang Tsung’s ugly mug. She was ignoring the ache in her fists and the burn in her throat from screaming out of rage, her sole focus on making sure the sorcerer wouldn’t be able to be identified when she was finished with him.
Her knuckles had split open long ago, the ferocity of her punching past flesh and straight into bone tore her skin apart, but Alora didn’t even realize it until later on when Kano was cleaning her hands with a wet rag. Even when she was so clearly staring at the lack of flesh and deep bright red gashes, she couldn’t find it in herself to actually feel the sting of ointment or cold air. She could just barely register her raw hands, too zoned out to even focus on anything really.
She was still too engrossed in the memory of seeing Shang Tsung snatch her father’s soul straight from him and into his wretched mouth.
She could still hear his screams so perfectly clear in her head.
It wasn’t until someone clasped their hands onto her arms, attempting to pull her off that the world started to fade back in. The crowds antagonizing cheers, the bitter taste of blood on her tongue, the wet squelching sounds of mushing brain and bone all overloaded her senses but still she fought on. She yanked herself out of the persons grasp, now wrapping her bloody aching fingers into Shang Tsung’s uniform to begin repeatedly slamming his body into the ground.
“Easy mate! Gonna have nothing but bones for ya fingers if you keep going! Can’t have my best fighter out of commission so early!”
Kano attempts to pull her off again, putting his bicep around her throat and grunting when he hauls her off successfully. Alora sends a powerful kick to Shang Tsung, the limp body shuffling several inches across the ground. She’s breathing harshly, chest heaving and burning as her eyes lock onto the corpse. She almost wishes he was still alive so she could continue turning it into nothing but a crimson pile of paste.
Still she fights against the Black Dragon member, ready to sink her teeth into his meaty arm when the body of the sorcerer begins to glow a vibrant green. Her struggling ceases, heart thumping in her ears as she watches the body transform before her eyes. Instead of Shang Tsung, now in his place laid the demolished form of a Tarkatan warrior, head nothing but a mushy pulp.
Alora felt vomit bubble in her stomach, her eyes scanning around the Koliseum to find that wicked man. She spots him in the audience, already looking at her. Their gazes lock and Shang Tsung gives her a sinister smirk with a wave of his fingers, green mist still floating around them before he turns and walks to disappear into the crowd.
She throws Kano’s arm off her, wanting to chase after him but she holds back and instead shifts her attention towards her father who laid on the ground. She scrambles to his side, falling to her knees and holding his skeletal body in her shaking hands. She holds back tears as she runs her fingers down his jaw, leaving bloody trails on the bone and his final words echoing in her mind.
“Papa…” She whispers so softly, so quiet that she almost said it again, unsure if she even spoke the first time.
She tries to engrave his features into her brain, how he looked after not seeing him for so long. His tousled brown hair that had grown subtle grey streaks alongside his full beard that looked disheveled and unruly, the deep lines that carved into his cheeks.
His brilliant grey and blue eyes, always so full of life and shining even when he was fighting for his life against his daughter. The light coming back temporarily at seeing his child alive and well, even if it was in these conditions.
She delicately holds his skull in her hands, smoothing her thumbs over the cheekbones down to his jaw. With a sob and shuddering breath, her tears roll down her bloody cheeks and she presses her forehead against his, holding herself there and once again droning out the sounds of the Koliseum patrons.
A hand claps on her shoulder and she looks up into the eyes of Kano, an unreadable expression upon his face.
“Come on kid, let’s get you home.”
Hesitating for a few seconds, she gives a final look and subtle kiss to her fingertips as she bids her father goodbye, never taking her eyes off his body as her and Kano step into a portal.
For a moment she feels numb, stepping through and ending up inside a room that doesn’t look at all familiar to her. She looks around, eyebrows furrowing in confusion until she finally lands on Kano who walks over to a table and grabs medical supplies.
“This isn’t home.” Her voice is coarse, raspy from screaming and tearing up her vocal cords.
“Course it is. New home at least.”
It makes a knot form in her stomach, her fingers flexing and crackling as she swallows the hard lump in her throat.
“What’re you—.”
“Lost the match, mate. Means you lost my money.”
His gruff voice speaks calmly while he spreads out gauze, ointment and other supplies across the table. He doesn’t even look up at her as he talks, too focused on setting everything up.
She’s silent as she soaks in the news, her jaw clenching tight and dry bloody hands forming into fists. She can feel her anger rising again and without blinking she lashes out at Kano with a fist aimed at his head. Kano counters quickly, unsheathing his butterfly knife and slashing upward under her right eye. She screams, blood flowing in a river down her face, her hand coming to clasp over the gash as she stumbles backwards. Involuntary tears stream over her cheeks, mixing with the blood and creating small pools at her feet.
“You work for me now, kiddo. Gotta repay that money somehow.”
The way he stands there so smug, his knife coated in her blood and dripping at his shoes has Alora seeing red.
“That’s not fair you fucking prick!” She growls, momentarily taking her hand off her eye and feeling the sting even more. She had an urge to try again to attack him but fears of getting another cut or something even worse.
“Life’s not fair, it’s fucking shit. Now sit your ass down so we can clean you up.”
She shakes her head in disbelief, her body trembling with molten hot anger.
“Fucking crazy, m’not staying here pedazo de mierda!”
She turns on her heel straight towards a door until Kano’s voice rings out again.
“Leave and I’ll gut your brother, carve your pretty mama’s face right up and leave the two of em out in the streets.”
She stops dead in her tracks and spins around to gape at the mercenary, her features taut and full of hatred for him. She opens her mouth to yell but he cuts her off once more.
“Sit. Your ass. Down.”
He’s wiping his hands with a rag, stepping back and giving her room to sit down on the chair.
Reluctantly, after a few moments of heavy silence she walks towards him and sits down, the squeak of the chair echoing throughout the empty room. Kano gives her toothy grin and tosses the rag aside to grab a different towel. He grabs her hands and starts to wipe the caked blood off her torn skin.
“How do you feel about the code name Red?”
