💋 I don't know where to start. this was one of the best fics I've read this month. there's a feeling, an energy that raced through me when I was reading. ft: the absolute loveliest OC who I wish could be my real-life friend, Sirius who is lost but finds himself, confident, sexy Remus who gets mad when Sirius says ILY first, and David Bowie. so so so so so so good: "Late one night, after a few beers, he tells her about Remus in a small voice, in the dark of his bedroom, like a secret. I don't usually comment on fics, but I saw that you have a tumblr so I came here to gush about The Phoenix Potion! It was SO AMAZINGLY GOOD OMG I HAVE NO WORDS! 😍😍😍

The way you handled dramione was superb, both in the flashbacks with their budding romance and in the present with their marriage! And the kids! I came to love them all so much? Especially Colin! He is my baby! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh and lots of kudos for making me come to hate Harry a bit! 😂 That was quite an accomplishment because I love him so much as a character and yet I came to resent him a bit in your fic even though he was very close to canon imho. 👌

I'm going to read Perks now! I'm really hyped to see how paneville came to be! Especially since there's apparently going to be a lot of pining 🤤

Is there going to be another installment except from Perks? I'm really not ready to exit this amazing universe you've created, so I hope there will be more!

OMG, thank you! What a nice ask and thanks for all the compliments! Glad you liked it so much that you came to gush in my inbox.

I love all the children, but I guess Colin is a bit of a protagonist!

When The Phoenix Potion was still a WIP I was actually a bit surprised that many of my readers were so angry at Harry, because I thought that I had made his reasoning relatable (if wrong). I guess I underestimated the righteous anger readers would feel for Draco and Hermione. lol.

Writing Harry’s PoV was easy in this fic and I loved writing him and I think he is like he is in canon. I just too all of his characteristics and flaws and imagined how they could possibly work against him. Lol.

‘Perks’ is already longer than I intended. haha. I have about 5 more chapters ready and about 8 to write, so it will be about 25 chapters. So keep tuned and expect two dorks in love and mutual pining galore!

I would like to write the Blaise/Luna fic after that “Dragon pox matchmaker”, so that will also be in the same universe.

I also plan to write a fic about the Paneville wedding: “The broom closet incident” - this will be mostly fun and will feature the shocking misbehaviour of the Granger-Malfoys at the wedding of their friends.

So, you will get more Phoenix Potion Universe fics, but at some point I will have told all there is to tell.

My family and I are well. I feel like I can’t complain, but it would be a lie, if I said, that everything is just easy right now.

Picking out little one’s first Halloween costume- Paneville.

 A Herbology tome lay open on the dining room table, complete with a large, rotating illustration of the plant in question. 

Pansy looked from it , to her husband's smiling face and back down again. 

"No. Nope I can't. I cannot put our son in a cactus costume. Can not and will not." Pansy folded her arms across her chest.

"It's a Mimbulus mimbletonia Pans and it makes Stinksap….get it?" He laughed quietly at his own joke, his crooked grin sliding up the side of his face. 

She rolled her eyes. "I will not be party to embarrassing him before he can talk. I have this royal blue velvet left over I bet he'd be an adorable little prince…" 

Nevilles face dropped as he slid the book back towards him. "I suppose…" 

"Nev, this party is his first real outing, I don't want to introduce "This is my son Paris, he makes stinksap hahaha." 

A plaintive cry came right on cue from the baby hearing his name.  "I've got him." Neville said automatically and started up the stairs to the nursery. 

Pansy sat there, arms still folded, listening to Neville coo at the 8 month old. From the sounds of the baby squealing back at him, Paris had no intention of going to back to sleep, but there wasn't a trace of complaint in his father's voice.

Stamping her foot petulantly, Pansy picked up the Herbology book and started towards her sewing room muttering. " This is my son, he makes Stinksap…"

Neville Longbottom couldn’t quite believe his ears at Pansy’s revelation. He blinked at the painfully beautiful woman in front of him, his jaw hanging slightly open. 

“Close your mouth unless you’re going to say something,” she snapped at him fiercely.

“I’ll do you one better, baby,” he responded. His gaping mouth closed and curled up into a mischievous grin. As she opened her mouth to respond, he caught her lips, pressing his gently against them.

She pulled away, blinking away tears in defiance. “Don’t call me that unless you mean it.” 

Neville shook his head incredulously. “You’re literally carrying my baby,” he said, testing the idea out with his own voice for the first time. “Are you ever gonna stop telling me that?”

Pansy huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “No.”

He chuckled under his breath, moving his hands to her arms and pulling them apart. Neville caught her eyes as he moved them to her stomach, touching the place where his child grew with reverence.

“So…you’re happy?” He knew she was kicking herself for the way her tone was tinged with desperation.

Neville slid his hands around her waist and pulled her into his lap. She turned her face down to look at him, and her jet black hair crashed like a wave over his face. 

His vision was filled with her, the most beautiful, frustrating, confident woman in the world. He still couldn’t believe she loved him back. He stared up at her in awe.

“I’ve never been happier.”
