@/antodemico is a big inspiration for me so I tried my hand at creating a DnD Paladin subclass. It's only developed up to level 5 because I created it for a oneshot but it was so much fun working on it!
I researched other subclasses to help me level the "power" of the Chanel Divinity and I tried to do something new that fits the subclass. Also I gave it an everpresent malus that is: always dealing non l3thal damage, but I think it's fun and doesn't get too much in the way
I'll admit that if someone asks me about my thought process behind my little subclass I will, infact, start vibrating at unhearable frequencies becuase I'm so excited to discuss this

Oath of Discord | An oath to the concept, not the chat client, though that would be funny
Tumblr media
PDFs of this and more can be found over on at my Patreon here! I release everything for free, so your support makes this possible. I'm working on a new class for 5e! Follow the Kickstarter here! I've also started making a new system based off of 5e, 6th Dawn! Become a patron and join the playtest.
What if the Oath of Treachery was an actual oath with tenets? Of course, that would be terrible, because the that basically be 'betray people!' or something to that effect, which in a team game would be awful. So, what if the oath was to destroy systems of governance and disrupting group cohesion?
So, that is the basis of this subclass
Channel Divinity: Sow Treachery
Simple concept, briefly force a creature to betray its allies. Great for causing some in fighting
Channel Divinity: Forget You Saw Me
Want to not get caught while doing something sneaky, but you had to interact with someone? Wipe their memory. I find it kind of weird that the only spell that can even remotely do this is Modify memory.
Aura of Disarray
So, the best way to guarantee someone to be lost and confused is to make them fail their saves against being lost and confused.
Traitorous Turn
In the end, the only thing I kept from the original Treachery paladin. One half of its aura. But because this is 15th level (not 6th, I spotted that type, I'm just lazy, sorry :P) have an extra bit of potential in fighting.
Chaos' Champion
I'll admit, the previous feature was so cool, that I thought being able to do it a lot was awesome.
And now to plug my stuff. I release homebrews weekly over on my Patreon. Anyone who pledges $1 or more per post don't have to wait a month to see them, and also help fund my being alive habit.
At the moment, they have exclusive access to the following:
Modular Airships
Lightspawn
Aasimar Reborn
Harpies take Flight
I also have three classes, and a splatbook over on DriveThrueRPG to check out:
The Rift Binder. A class specialising in summoning monsters and controlling the battlefield.
The Witch Knight. A class that combines swords and sorcery in the most literal way.
The Werebeast. A class that turns you into a half beast to destroy your foes.
d'Artagnan's Adventurer Almanac. A compendium of races, subclasses, feats, spells, monsters and more!

As the snow bears down on the traveling group, they hear a terrible screech as the white dragon wyrmling bursts from beneath the mountain. A commanding voice breaks through the wind "Come to my lantern light!", the orc warrior shouts, holding his shining maul high into the air. With one quick dash, he is atop the foul beast, and strikes down with a holy smite.
I really feel like paladin as a class is very similar from subclass to subclass, and I wanted to try and do something a bit more varied. This subclass focuses more on nature and guiding folks, and uses movement as the core of its abilities. I hope you enjoy! The PDF of the image can be found here, and the Homebrewery link is here. Leave any feedback (kindly please) below!

Oath of the Light (Paladin Subclass)
The Oath of the Light is a sacred covenant undertaken by paladins who are unwavering beacons of hope in a world veiled by shadows. They are the eternal guardians of radiance, emboldened by their unshakable commitment to dispel darkness wherever it may linger. These paladins are not just warriors; they are living embodiments of the unyielding, illuminating power of good. The Oath of the Light binds them to a higher calling, a divine purpose to vanquish malevolence and nurture the virtues of kindness, compassion, and purity. To follow this path is to take on a mantle of luminescence, casting light into the deepest recesses of despair and lighting the way for all who seek the path of righteousness.
made a lil paladin subclass :] check out the pdf here!

Not the first time I’ve polled this, but it’s been a while and I’m curious to see where the tides are rising after the popularity of BG3.

Yes yes I need to finish my research, write my thesis, attend my courses but what if, hear me out, I spent every waking moment writing a DND campaign set in Gotham City with a fully stat-ed out batfamily ??
Did anyone consider this might be a better use of my time ??

Day 7! Oath of Wonder!
I wanted something nice and wholesome for today, so I came up with a paladin!
The absolute hardest part about this was getting the thing to upload, my wifi did NOT want to cooperate. I've had it finished for an hour now.

Did I learn how to play paladins? No, but I did a portrair of my dnd paladin Sol!
Also created part of a subclass/oath for her (It's under the "Keep reading")
This is the Oath of the Crowd. I wanted a subclass more centered in helping others instead of a system or believes of a diety. This is my first time creating a subclass and it was super fun. I don't know if there is maybe a similar one created before that I haven't seen but I'm quite proud of it
It's only up toe level 5 as this character was done for a oneshot

So, I just realised, we know nothing about Braius' family. He keeps repeating that family is important to him, but also made it clear that he doesn't have one at the moment and is looking for one.
My question: is his family still alive? He said he was kicked out of the temple and kicked out by his family. But he very obviously was NOT 100% honest, at least we as the audience and the other players know that, not the characters.
For example: Jester and Nott did not burn the temple down. But... Did he? As an act of revenge? Isn't that a possibility?
So... My brain loves to jump to the worst possible conclusions. I know it was probably a joke for his Stanley cup, but he killed that dude for backstabbing him.
So... Again... My question: is Braius' family still alive? Or is there a possibility he enacted some kind of revenge there, too? Did he kill them? Because that sounds more in line of what a follower of Asmodeus would do.
It would also make a great parallel to FCG who accidentally killed his party without knowing about it and regretting it deeply.
