Art Progress Timeline

It's hard to see this stuff as it's happening, and it's easy to think you're not making progress, so it's good to do these every once in a while. 'finished dww' is both a personal milestone and an excuse to draw them so small, so tiny, but also the point where i didn't have to split focus between two creative disciplines so could focus on the art. been boning up on the fundamentals this year. i've no formal art education (though i did always want it, life had other plans), so i'm thrilled to see i'm getting to where i want to go. hoping 2025 is a good art year for me too

I'm pretty sure this is intentional, but most of your fallen kiddies have some sort of heart motif in their clothing. Like Aimee's pjs, Jackie's belt, Dove and Clover both have heart pins,(clover's is really small tho)Etc;

The only Soul that doesn't seem to have any hearts is Lilac, and I don't know if that's intentional, or if I'm not looking hard enough 💀

Yeah Lilac is kind of an awkward outlier in the group and they got a lot of funky stuff going on, thought it was fun that they’re lacking the heart whimsy design motif. Maybe in a hypothetical future revival scenario they’d have that heart added to their design when they’ve had time to chill out a bit

Thank you for the ask! Eldritch horror is broad enough, so I did two interpretations for this one! Not sure if they exactly fit, but I enjoyed making them :)

First one is analog horror inspired and the second is based on a weeping angel!

I like thinking of Leshy like a silly (sometimes grumpy) old man who just wants to mess with people. I used to like the idea of human legs on Leshy, (the old version of him is, like, at the bottom of my page lol) but I’ve since then subscribed to the “Satyr Leshy” notion lmao.
