devastated at the idea of lucanis getting lumped in with our usual kind of mage haters because he’s “the mage killer”. he’s just good at his job and they let him kill slavers about it!!! he has these special senses for the fade it’s that he has the specific skillset for it not that he’s Being Weird about it

No but I think the next TSC book is either going to be THICK, like GOT-level-chunky, thicker than the atmosphere big, or two books instead of one.
There’s just still so much content to cover, like:
- Jeremy’s background
- Jeremy’s trauma and crimes
- Jean’s sister
- Jeremy learning the full extent of Jean’s trauma and what Riko put him through in the Nest (I really want to see him learn the true reason Jean is scared of water).
- the culmination of their sexual tension and, at long last, a kiss 😌
- who wins in the championships (I know in the EC it is the Trojans, and that Nora said this book won’t be about Exy and the championships, but she also said that she wouldn’t be following the EC and there would be changes so I am curious to know if this changes.)
- Kevin and Jeans interview
- Jean and Neil’s interview / announcement of his true identity
- the fallout of Jean’s identity and how the Trojans react. Will Jean have to fight to stay like how Neil had to fight to stay?
- the Trial of Jeans parents
- Jean seeing his parents again
- the “big event” that is necessary in book plots, like with the reveal of Jeans sister and Neil’s spontaneous visit to LA in TSC, like will the next book be more about Jeremy since we got Jean in B1 or will it be still Jean focused? Or am I right and we will see TWO more TSC books (fuck I hope so)
Anyway, there’s more but I just woke up so there’s my theories thus far.

Home isn't only good for money!
It's obvious that food helps these ghost find closure because it heals part of their pain, but I'm focused on the ship were all trying to sail because my favorite evolution in this show is going to be Home going from eating frozen meals by himself to helping Peach cook professionally again.
Because the show began with them making meals.
The meal that Peach prepares is made in Best's home using ingredients from his fridge which Home watches from a distance.
And in the second episode, when Peach offered up a small homemade sandwich that was made with items from the convenience store, Home bought everything then he bought some more.
Which was an argument between the two characters.
Then episode three happened! In this episode, Home refused to let Pang and Peach use a gas stove, so they could only use the microwave, and this is where we learned that Home has never cooked a meal in his life.
And orders takeout.
He also admits to not wanting to eat alone and notices Peach's hand shaking again.
Home thinks making noodles is difficult, so Peach tells him to wash the basil, but then Home asks for soap. He knows nothing.
Yet he still tries.
And the meal that episode was a home for two people who loved each other.
We got Pang acknowledging they are a family while they were eating dinner, but also we got scenes during the credits of Home stealing Peach's glasses during that dinner.
And now in episode four, Home casually watches Peach make the ghost's meal in the ghost's home.
The scenes from the credits show us the group snacking on chips from a bag, only for Home to take an entire bowl of chips just to pour it out on the table, so Peach scolds him.
All of this is simply to point out that for a boy who didn't know how to cook and had no one to eat with, each episode shows him putting in a bit more effort to connect to the people around him. The meals have brought the boys closer, and now Home is in the kitchen with Peach. He might not be helping with the meals just yet, but he with a bit of practice and a lot of patience, he'll be ready to help when the time comes, so Home isn't just good for his money, but good because he will make an excellent partner.

Scenes from The Vampire Chronicles that genuinely made me laugh out loud: The Vampire Armand edition. (spoilers)
Armand with Lord Harlech and the lord is like “you’re such a slut” in so many words and Armand is just like “yup that’s me” with a smile on his face please he’s such a PUNK
Armand chasing Marius through his palace so Marius locks himself in a room (already funny enough) but Armand just breaks the fucking door down with a battle axe? I’m sorry but even Anne Rice wrote pure shock on Marius’ face and that’s so funny. This man can read minds, has superhuman hearing, and can sense intention, and even he was just purely baffled by that move lmao
Armand, after describing Lestat and Louis so lovingly and with such adoration, gets to Gabrielle and is immediately like “everyone hates her” 😭 he basically says “she is pretty and cool but at the end of the day she’s a shit mom and I can’t look past that” and honestly I love him for it
I’m sorry but I can’t get over how much he dislikes Gabrielle. Just staring down at Lestat and his only thought is “this bitch can’t even brush his hair?” And Gabrielle immediately clocks it and tells him to fuck off 😭 I was not expecting them to have beef and it’s so funny to me.

Hey Red, in the B roll stream for TOTK that you did last month, you mentioned that you had finalised a couple of pages that you were particularly excited for because you got to make something happen that you weren’t sure if it would happen. Are we seeing those pages now?
If so, I don’t think Falst or Erin are particularly happy about it.
Almost anything in the last dozen or so pages could qualify tbh, there was a LOT I was surprised I could work in

Names that really aren't common enough for an author to use twice for unrelated characters:
Jabez (Doyle, in 'The Red-Headed League' and 'The Three Students')
Gotobed (Sayers, in 'Unnatural Death' and 'The Nine Tailors')
