i love every single iteration of persona 5 so SO much you dont understand. i keep coming back to the story and characters, they bring me joy like no other. ive also never been so willing to confidently and publicly shittalk anything like it in my life.

I sobbed a lot XD#i fucking love maruki and third semester#LIKE DAMN that was worth not being spoiled over that!#I didn’t finish hanged man nor Sun nor lovers nor empress#sun’s was fucked because I forgot about the job I had to get and Futaba and Kasumi and Maruki and Goro trumped Ann and Haru#I can see the hype behind this version—I spent 100 hours in the game and got to lvl 90#THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING GOOD!#I still love Ryuji even at the end—also didn’t realize stuff changed from vanilla to royal. it made me sadder but definitely love changes!

Persona 2: Reality itself is unstable and the heroes literally rewrote reality to make a random woman into an armsdealer. We will at no point think about the ethical implications of us essentially rewriting her entire life's history and her core personality traits.
Persona 3: SEES are well connected and are able to buy weapons from a contact within the police force.
Persona 5: The weapons are actually just models that work within the Metaverse because they look real.
Persona 4: Alright, so Inaba has this blacksmith who sells guns to children.

Persona 5 is a fun game to play but a miserable game to experience.
