17 anon again Thinkin Me Thoughts... I feel like it's pointless to try and debate over who was The Worse Friend because Shauna and Jackie were both good and bad friends to one another!! Jackie is attentive and enthusiastic and also selfish and insensitive. Shauna is kind and supportive and also jealous and dishonest. They both want to Keep each other so bad. Jackie wants to take Shauna to Rutgers with her. Shauna gets into Brown and doesn't tell Jackie. Jackie's dreams and desires are built to include Shauna and Shauna doesn't say her dreams and desires out loud because she's afraid of acknowledging that theyre Not shaped around Jackie's. They're trying so hard to hold onto each other with the languages of affection and fear that they both speak and things get lost in translation! U can't pick a villain out between the two of them... They're literally 17 yr old girls trying to navigate intimacy and the approach of early adulthood. Mutual harm was done and they still loved one another and neither of them won. They both lost. They really both stayed 17 out there

Do you know how utterly impossible it is to pack for a week vacation you're leaving for on Monday when you have a hen night on Sunday and are also trying to prepare for going on that. I'm a 1 shoulder bag for all events person and I'm cracking out a second, smaller handbag from the vault. I've literally blown dust off makeup and jewellery. I don't even know if my ears are still pierced. I'm going to have to move all my essentials back into my regular bag before I go or I'll have to do the whole vacation with a tiny cute bag instead of the sack of pens and old bus tickets I lug around normally... That's twice the packing as normal and I can't finish any checklists tonight because I still have 2 more sleeps before I go on the long trip, I'm going to have to do them all hungover on Monday morning. Packing. Hungover.
