BLOSCtober Day 19 - Ozma Furbanna

Ozma....is a character for me lmao. I don't have strong feelings for her for one way or the other. Except I have issues with her relationship with Buzz with how much they argue cause I feel like it's a bit too much for a relationship thanks to who they are as characters and they're both married to their jobs. I would be fine if it was playful banter but it's not and it lowkey bothers me when I think about it. But anyways, I drew her in her suit cause I like it and who doesn't like a woman in armor lmao

okay listen i generally dislike all the ozma episodes because whenever they roll around it becomes CRITICAL that buzz be at his most meathead his most jock his most testosterone-amped idiot and i hate that for him. i completely understand having buzz butt heads with an environmentalist because he values civilian life above all else, but the way he gets fucking possessed by the spirit of misogyny to create what's meant to be read as romantic tension drives me absolutely insane.

HOWEVER. i think that having buzz not give a shit about endangered species is like. possibly the funniest flaw they could have given him. why did they do that. he would eat a dodo. he would eat shark fin soup. he uses plastic straws, two per drink. there was absolutely no need to give him this trait and yes it makes him significantly worse but it's also so fucking funny. in the blosc writers room with the jimmy neutron personality machine pulled up like ugh we need him to have chemistry with this woman and the only way to do that is to have him constantly denigrate her life's work. give him callous disregard for the rain forest.

I finally have the excuse to draw blosc characters as other characters !! halloween might be the only holiday i actually like exactly because there's the opportunity to do that, so here's some art brainstorming

although them dressing up as vampires monsters etc is the obvious choice, i felt like there's enough of that in the show itself (which is really cool cause it's perfect to watch on halloween)

do they even have halloween in their universe ? i mean they have christmas so why not ? i wonder how team ly would spend it... maybe not trick or treating since they're adults, but someone on star command could organize a party. who knows

finally worked the courage to see Ozma's eps, she's actually cool but why'd her whole other thing be about being B's s/o, kinda wanna have her as aro/ace but hmmnbnn 👉👈

idk why but I really liked Haunted Moon so I saw it a second time. the fact that almost everyone's reinterpretation of Gravitina has those lines at the back of her head?? it's really neat

doing expressions and exaggerating is fun but it does get ooc :/ can't help it though the difference would be in my writing compared to my drawings, and tbh I just wanted to mess around with a jealous Warp (and project whoops)

This was initially part of a little comic where XR pointed out Buzz had a type. IDK, I think there are some similarities with Ty and Ozma. I have some issues with the episodes with Ozma and am not a big fan of her writing but the overall idea of her character is good. I would like to think that there would be no animosity between Ty and Ozma. They're both adults and I think Ozma and Buzz would part on good terms, just not being quite right for each other, so there's no jealousy on either part. 

I attempted a background. They're at some kind of Star Command related party. The window turned out okay but its not the most impressive background.
