Ozma....is a character for me lmao. I don't have strong feelings for her for one way or the other. Except I have issues with her relationship with Buzz with how much they argue cause I feel like it's a bit too much for a relationship thanks to who they are as characters and they're both married to their jobs. I would be fine if it was playful banter but it's not and it lowkey bothers me when I think about it. But anyways, I drew her in her suit cause I like it and who doesn't like a woman in armor lmao

Canon-based headcanon: Buzz Lightyear (the character since the cartoon/movie and then the toy as consequence) has a type: readhead girls

Cuz there's no way. Every single character this man was ever attracted by was a ginger. Space Ranger Buzz probably has this type and then all other Buzz toys also do, since we know that personality traits don't go away after the characters aknowledge that they're toys. Probably types also don't.

This was initially part of a little comic where XR pointed out Buzz had a type. IDK, I think there are some similarities with Ty and Ozma. I have some issues with the episodes with Ozma and am not a big fan of her writing but the overall idea of her character is good. I would like to think that there would be no animosity between Ty and Ozma. They're both adults and I think Ozma and Buzz would part on good terms, just not being quite right for each other, so there's no jealousy on either part. 

I attempted a background. They're at some kind of Star Command related party. The window turned out okay but its not the most impressive background.

I finally have the excuse to draw blosc characters as other characters !! halloween might be the only holiday i actually like exactly because there's the opportunity to do that, so here's some art brainstorming

although them dressing up as vampires monsters etc is the obvious choice, i felt like there's enough of that in the show itself (which is really cool cause it's perfect to watch on halloween)

do they even have halloween in their universe ? i mean they have christmas so why not ? i wonder how team ly would spend it... maybe not trick or treating since they're adults, but someone on star command could organize a party. who knows

finally worked the courage to see Ozma's eps, she's actually cool but why'd her whole other thing be about being B's s/o, kinda wanna have her as aro/ace but hmmnbnn 👉👈

idk why but I really liked Haunted Moon so I saw it a second time. the fact that almost everyone's reinterpretation of Gravitina has those lines at the back of her head?? it's really neat

doing expressions and exaggerating is fun but it does get ooc :/ can't help it though the difference would be in my writing compared to my drawings, and tbh I just wanted to mess around with a jealous Warp (and project whoops)

Oh agreed! The show had a wonderful cast of unique and memorable characters! Though, personally, I did find any episode without Zurg in it a little lacking, but that's mostly because he had more personality than everyone in the show combined.

The two exceptions to this were Wirewolf and The Beasts of Karn. Not because of Nos4A2 or Rentwhistle, but because of Ranger Ty Parsec and Dr. Ozma Furbanna; in my opinion, some of the most complex and memorable protagonists in the whole show.

I really wish more people talked about this show on Tumblr.

I feel so sad that it seems like most of the people that worked on the show and talk about it seem so dispassionate about it now. I just finished watching the series for the first time. I absolutely adored it. The rangers of spaceship 42 have taken up a special place in my heart and will definitely be there for a loooong time. And this show had a lovely rogue’s gallery too; I’m so happy the show wasn’t super dependent on Zurg as the villain for each episode. Torque, Warp, and Gravitina are some of my favorite villains though I love them all. That’s it! I love most if not all the characters in this show! if the plot of an episode wasn’t that engaging the characters featured in the episode definitely were.
