why does the name change process have to be so complicated though

in my state you have to post in the newspaper (which is difficult to get them to do in the first place) then get a court date, then go to court and tell them why you’re charging your name.

it’s JUST a noise that is made to get your attention!!! it’s not that complicated! if i want to change my noise why is it such a big deal!!

My friend who legally changed his name a few months ago said the court wants to make sure people aren't changing their name for purposes of tax evasion, but I agree, name changes should be easier.

her bio dad was an italian immigrant, and her ma was a indigenous woman from the metoac tribe (they lived on long island) and both being highly discriminated against, they couldnt afford to keep a kid, much less get married or make their relationship public.

the one on the right is her at abt six, shes wearing one of dimes' old shirts :) and they had to make her put shorts on under her skirt because while she loved wearing skirts, she also loved playing with the hem so like

she has wavy black hair and hazel eyes because i said so, and a nose that i havent gotten to draw yet because a) i just thought of her like three days ago and b) shes still a kid and i find that childrens nose bridges dont develop fully until theyre like ten-twelve, mine sure didnt lmao

my nephew really got nerfed here by the genetics lottery. intolerances up the kazoo. boy cannot digest so many things. child you are only 3 years old please he is on so many supplements.

My 16 year old cat's steroid treatment has been working really well, and she's gained a full pound!

A bit ago, we weren't sure if she would even see November, so this is a huge win.
