The swag 2020 one was inspired by yukers stuff and that pumpkinduo office chair art, but overall my art choices are an amalgamation of the artists I love. Hey mcytblr! I currently have the wild opportunity to pitch an art exhibition to an actual real gallery with whatever theme I want as part of my intro to curatorial studies class this semester.

My plan is to put together a pitch for an mcyt fanart exhibition, with the goal to show that the genre is just as valid in the art world as traditional fine arts. I'm currently very early in the process, and am working on selecting which artists I want to reach out to to ask to include their work in this theoretical exhibition. However, of course, the community is huge and there's bound to be hundreds of artists here I've never even heard of! Especially those making fanart of series I don't watch. So here's where I'm asking for help from the community at large! Please reblog this post with the names of mcyt artists whose work you enjoy, with a link to either their portfolio or art tag! In the grass of field boundaries and in local meadows the Leucanthemum vulgare (oxeye daisy, marguerite, moon daisy) is flowering and is popular with a variety of pollinators. This rhizomatous perennial has composite flowers of white rays (petals) surrounding a disc of yellow florets.

Thank you so much for responding! Oh, I know of Oxeyedaisy's designs. I really like them, but they are a little too human for me. Talking with Asterion I've come up with a decent idea for the Cold. Basing it on the Goliath Heron. The darker colors of its brown and black feathers, along with the thin and dangerous beak it uses to impale its prey are great visuals for relaying his personality. Also as someone who has lived 90% of their life in a place with herons...they don't give a fuck about anything until you get within like 20 feet of them. Absolute unperturbed statues of a bird, and then they just fly about 100 feet down the way from ya unless you invade their space too many times.

Also the designs are all for my "Wrong Voice X Wrong Princess" AU, that my Smitten X Prisoner fanfic exists in. So while i love the idea of having the ways they interact with their princess's incorporated into their designs especually something like the Hunted carrying around a trophy from the Beast/Den it wouldn't work in this tineline. None of them have actually met their counterpart princess.

Calling @minotaur-asterion and @birdmitosis I wanna describe some physical bodies for the Voices in some upcoming fanfics. You two are the resident voice experts. What do yall think?

My beloved work in the workshop of the Berlin Museum #gipsformerei . I painted the plaster casts of the ancient processional way of Babylon and Ishtar gate of Babylon. You see the parts with the typical marguerites and the goddess Ishtar as a white lion. Sie sehen meine geliebte Arbeit in der Werkstadt des Berliner Museums Gipsformerei. Ich bemalte die Abformungen der Prozessionsstraße Babylon mit Ischtartor. Zu sehen sind die Reliefs mit den typischen Margeriten und der Göttin Ischtar als weißer Löwe. Gipsreplik, bemalt Einmal im Jahr, während des 11tägigen Neujahrsfestes, wurden in Babylon, entlang der 360m langen Prozessionsstraße, die Götterfiguren feierlich von den Außentempeln ins innere der Stadt getragen. Den Palast Nebukadnezars II (605-562 v.u.Z.) schmückten leuchtend glasierte Ziegel, mit Darstellungen weißer und gelber Löwen, die die Göttin Ischtar symbolisieren, typische Margeritenfriese und Palmen. Betreten konnte man diese farbenfrohe Szenerie durch das Ischtartor, das Teil der Stadtmauern Babylons war und zu den 7 Weltwundern gehörte.
