for example:

noah- a siren that doesn't like music alejandro- a vegetarian vampire izzy- a shapeshifter that definitely shouldn't be a shapeshifter owen- a human that everyone thinks is a monster bc of how he can eat but no just human tyler- a ghost that can feel pain duncan- high elf that is just a piece of trash Courtney- demon that is very particular about her deals Sierra- nymph that was so obsessed with cody she carries around her potted plant she comes from cody- alien that tries hard to act normal but acts weirder than if he didn't try

and they would just end up messing up and not really competing but also not allowing the other to win.

(its bc most of them have long lifespans/ have no defined age, so they don't really need the money bc they have the money or just scam it out of people)

heather and gwen are the only ones who know that something off about the other contestants, but no one listens.

you smelt bullshit from a mile away and you let him know as much at any given possible opportunity

you were nice and maybe a little standoffish to other contestants, but to him? You were outright cruel

then again, that's what drew him to you in the first place <3

puts his charms on HEAVY when talking to you (or just in general) just bc he knows it annoys the shit outta you and he loves getting you worked up. He'll even say that to your face

anytime he flirts with anyone, you visibly gag (to which he'll just tease you and say that you're jealous which makes you gag further)

you swear up and down that you two are sworn ENEMIES, but he likes to go around and tell everyone that you're secretly dating and to not tell anyone

(this ofc gets out cause no one can keep a goddamn secret to save their lives and oh ho ho lemme tell ya. When you found out he was telling people you two were secretly dating, you gave him a black eye that lasted at least a week)

Chris, being the scheming demon he is, will sometimes make it to where you two are on the same team

at first, you are bitching up a storm and he won't stop smiling, but when the challenge actually starts, you two are a monster of a team. Everyone is definitely scared of you two (Owen makes a comment that you two make an awesome power couple and you glare at him)

yes. I am big enjoyer of Alejandro Burromuerto. Could I request that the reader is genuinely nice to him, they have zero ulterior motives in the show and they just mindlessly joke around and treat him with the right amount of praise that he should have gotten back home? Like, the reader is so confusing and oblivious but at the same time endearing and genuine with their words and actions.

He didn't get it. He didn't get you. Alejandro Burromuerto was drawing a blank.

You were like Owen, except much prettier. And you weren't gross. And you didn't call him that stupid nickname. And you didn't—

"Alejandro?" You say, leaning over to look at him.

"Ah, um, yes?" Alejandro looks over at you with that famous smile. You smile back, and it's like the metal cage around his heart got it's lock picked. Again.

He doesn't understand. How can someone on this godforsaken plane besides himself have any redeeming qualities? It was like you knew how to make him happy, how to make him enthusiastic. It was like he was the dog and you were the owner. He didn't like it, but he didn't mind it either.

"You seem a little, uh, off. Is everything going smoothly in the Burromuerto-mobile?" You chuckled lightly at your own joke, but you put a hand on his shoulder afterwards. "I'm always here to talk if the confessionals don't do any good."

Alejandro tried. He tried so hard to see a sliver of something evil. But he couldn't. And...it wasn't so bad. He smiled, patting your hand. "Ah, amor. You are too kind to me, truly."

"What? Why wouldn't I be?" Alejandro's eyes went wide. "You're the coolest person on this flight, man. Also, my teammate. Gotta make friends some way, right?" You smile wider, putting your hand on top of his.

He almost short-circuts.

You went on to win some challenges with Alejandro, all the while joking, talking and laughing with him.

He was about to break.

He could go on and on about you. Positive things, of course. You were simply amazing to him. You treated him with respect, with kindness. He hadn't been so happy to see someone's face every day in what seems like years.

Until, Alejandro finally figured something out about you. His brain clicked in all the right places. He finally understood. He finally knew.

You were his soulmate.

One night when your team was in first class, Alejandro had sat next to you in one of the chairs.

"Can't sleep?" He whispered to you.

"Nope." You whispered back. You turned to face him, smiling. "Same for you?"

Alejandro nods. "(Name), is it alright if I use my 'free conversation' ticket?" He jokes. You say yes, of course.

"I just would like to thank you. Thank you for everything. You've been so nice to me, niceness I never knew I needed." He felt himself start to tear up. Burromuerto's don't cry, why is he doing it now? "I- it's like...you...respect me. You don't call me weird nicknames. You don't try and beat me in everything. You don't try to one up me. It's- no, you're a breath of fresh air." Alejandro says, his voice wavering. You put your hands on his.

"Alejandro—"

"I love you. I love you (Name). I don't care if a million people see this side of me anymore. I don't care about my brother, or my overwhelming family, I care about you. I care about you and I care that you care for me." Tears started to spill from his eyes. "I love you so much."

"Alejandro, I love you too." You said, wiping his tears. He kept his eyes in your hand, sobbing. You hugged him tight. "I love you too. It's alright."

• World Tour is a pain in the ass for Alejandro

• As much fun dealing with Owen and the rest of his team is, he gets tired keeping up appearances all the time

• Or, as he would more accurately say, "being charming all the time has its downsides."

• Time spent venting in the confessional can only get him so far

• And as more and more episodes stretched by, Alejandro comes to realize he liked being around you of all people

• You were one of the more sane ones on this season compared to the likes of Izzy and Sierra

• At first, he has a hard time figuring you out. What made you tick and all that. How he could get you to fall for him, just to end up pushing you out the plane's door to the ground below

• But you were always so quick to turn down his advances, opting for your own corner of, well, whatever it is you do

• The closest Alejandro ever came to unearthing more about you was when he caught you doodling on your arm in pen

• "And what do we have here?" He had grinned down at you, hands on his hips as he watched your eyes dart up to look at him

• "Uhm. Me?" You deadpanned, not even bothering to stop what you were doing

• He resisted the urge to roll his eyes at that

• After a bit of awkward silence you had sighed and patted the wooden seat next to you. Apprehensive, Alejandro sat down

• It took a minute, but he went on to learn why exactly you had signed up for this show—even sharing a bit of his personal life with you

• Maybe it was the fact that was the first normal conversation he'd had in weeks, but Alejandeo didn't have as hard of a time opening up to you

• He even let you draw a smile face or two on his arm

• "Listen dude." You had said while doing it, not looking up from your sketching, "I know your game. It's smart, don't get me wrong. But try not to rope me into it okay? I don't crush easily."

• Alejandro just smiled

• "One thing about me is that I love a challenge." He smirked. You hit him in the head with your pen for that

• From then on he did his best to win you over. Offering to pose for your art, getting as close as possible to you at all times, etc. Alejandro wasn't lying when he said he enjoyed a challenge. It was a lot more fun that way

Alenoah AU, where Noah says this in London instead:

Owen: "Why don't you like Al? He's great!"

Noah: "I like Alejandro and I agree that he's great, but I still don't trust the guy."

Owen: "Why?"

Noah: "I have my personal reasons... One of them being that I don't like how he treats you, Owen... So, please be careful from now on..."

Owen: "Okay, Noah... You do have a point."

How would Alejandro react to Noah liking him, but not truly trusting him? 😲

See your first mistake is assuming Noah would ever give up an oppertunity to shit-talk someone. /j

But for real, if Noah did clarify that he doesn't dislike Alejandro but does distrust him, I can't see things playing out too differently from canon - save for Alejandro being a bit less openly hostile towards him post-challenge. Noah would still be eliminated, because having a teammate who distrusts him doesn't align with Alejandro's game plan.

Especially if Noah divulges why he doesn't trust Alejandro. If Noah tries to out the fact that Alejandro isn't as altruistic as he wants to appear, that makes Noah himself a direct threat to Alejandro's plans and schemes. Again, he'd be eliminated as soon as possible.

Regardless of any potential feelings between the two, Alejandro can and would always prioritise the competition over any budding relationship he has with Noah... at least in London. Further on in the competition, if/when the two of them have gotten to know each other better (and when mutual feelings have had time to grow and develop) it's a different story.

It would, however, mean there's a lot less bad blood between the two post series. At least on Alejandro's end. If anything, he'd probably have a smidge of respect for Noah, since he's one of the few people who had caught on to Alejandro's false geniality pre-merge and/or pre-elimination.

Meanwhile Noah would still be justifyably salty that Alejandro got him eliminated, but I imagine he'd pin most of the blame on himself. After all, it was his big mouth that once again dropped him into hot water with his team. Plus, in this scenario, Noah admits that he does like Alejandro, so even considering his elimination I doubt Noah would be too upset with Alejandro himself.

So, in the case of this hypothetical AU, I'd suggest that the main meat of the story here would be post-World Tour, which plays out canonically (or as close to canonically as you'd like). Alejandro gets Drama Machine'd, and Noah - as one of the few people in the cast who doesn't actively hate Alejandro - questions his whereabouts when he fails to show up on the cruise boat the Gen 1 cast are seen on at the beginning of RotI.

He's likely the only person to do so since, barring Heather, Noah's one of the select few who Alejandro didn't royally fuck over. Not directly, at least. And Heather's too preoccupied with the loss of her million to think about Alejandro's wellbeing. And Chris tells him straight; the robot on the cruise ship? Alejandro's chilling in there, healing from the lava burns in almost complete isolation.

Noah is understandably horrified. He's even more horrified when Chris reveals that the Burromuertos signed over custodial rights for Alejandro and disowned him, so Chris is full within his legal rights to keep Alejandro in the Drama Machine for however long he deems fit. Unfortunately, he's also sworn to secrecy about the whole deal; Chris can't have Alejandro's situation reaching the press, it'd be bad for the show's publicity. (Add some legal jargon here, or something about non-disclosure agreements being in the casts' contracts, or whatever.)

But he can't just leave alejandro to suffer in an indefinite mechanical imprisonment. So Noah bargains his way back into his old position as a PA, if only to keep tabs on Alejandro's wellbeing.

Something something you end up with one of those Assistant Noah x Drama Machine Alejandro AUs, which eventually evolves into a "Noah works as an assistant on All-stars" AU, or whatever.
