Ainz cleared his throat, preparing to test his line on her, then clenched his hand in joy when it worked...
And when he tries it on Albedo later in Volume 13:
Aghh... The baseball comparison is especially funny.

somebody rq’d Damien so I was looking for some refs and oh my god he looks SO much like a kingdom hearts character here? The plaid pants (just given that some kh characters have some checkered design on it lol). The black tank-top with some weird metal link on it, it’s like he’s Cloud (I know he’s from ffvii but he does make an appearance in kh). The grey/silver xehanort hair.
#anyways fun fact one of the first clips I watched of smosh was of Damien and Shayne’s kingdom hearts bit it is so fucking funny#the fact that Damien voices a decent amount of jrpg / strategy characters from games I love and play is so crazy to me#when I hear sanatio’s voice in unicorn overlord I was like HOLY SHIT DAMIEN#and finding out that male shez is Damien? holy shit#damien haas#fiery rambles

OOC | The Twelve Conquered Kingdoms & the Formal Style of the Emperor
antilla -- HOUSE OF RODERICK'S STEPMAMA, im sort of picturing a spain/portugal mashup || taken from a medieval iberian legend abt a mystical land founded by some visigothic bishop (antillia)
vinetta – think lithuania, latvia, poland, germany, etc || a mythical city at the edge of the baltic sea (vineta)
kvenheim – i was sort of envisioning norse scandinavia || the icy otherworld which the forst giants rule meets a mysterious lost island from medieval and norse legend (kvenland + jotunheim)
kolchis -- HOME OF HOUSE CALAINON, think medieval byzantium/greece || taken from greek mythology, the homeland of medea, the golden fleece, and the cholchean dragon (cholchis)
malakarta – the sun-soaked deserts of the middle east || an invisible realm meets the toll house located between the realm of light and the earth (malakut + matarta)
aarnu -- think egypt: a fertile river running through vast deserts || also known as the field of reeds, the sacred paradise ruled by osiris (aaru)
argadara – a whole country of vast mountains in the fantasy!himalayas || a legendary land located at the core of the earth meets a sacred mountain in the puranas (agartha + mount mandara)
xangadu – the most hospitable part of china basically -- their governing body was called a blogring ;D jk jk no but fr s/o to xanga rip || the mythologized summer capitol of kublai khan, used to represent opulence and splendor (xangdu/xanadu)
aotepo -- sort of pictured a chain of tropical islands! which is also interesting bc i feel like roderick's navy is kinda. ehhh so they def got a work out w this one! def think this was one of the more recent conquests too! || the polynesian realm of light meets its realm of darkness and the ancestors (ao + te po)
alytar – HOME OF HOUSE VASILIEVA, think medieval russia || taken from slavic myth where it is the navel of the earth, a rocky and sacred place, marked w ancient runes and endowed with healing powers (alatyr)
affaraon -- tis scotland ;D and, as such, i was thinking this was possibly a neighbor to astaira? || also known as the immortal land and the 'city of higher powers,' and the 'ambrosial city,' it is the legendary home of a sect of druids dedicated to metallugry and alchemy and is said to be located somewhere in scotland (dinas affaraon/ffaraon)
astaira -- HOME OF HOUSE STAFFORD, &c.
you will note that the og varmont nation is not included on this list, and that is purely bc he did not conquer it but, rather, inherited it. also, except for kolchis and astaira, ofc, these are all place holder names but [ i stole most of them from world mythologlies ] and sort of jostled them about a bit: for exmaple, xanadu aka xangdu is now XANGAdu for reasons ;DDD
INFORMAL STYLE OF THE TRUE EMPEROR
His Imperial Majesty, Roderick the First of His Name, by the Grace of the One True God, of the Great and Holy Empire of [Varmont] and Astaira and of His other Realms and Territories One True Emperor, Conquer of the Twelve Kingdoms, Defender of the Faith, and God’s Own Champion
FORMAL STYLE OF THE TRUE EMPEROR
His Imperial Majesty, Roderick the First of His Name, by the Grace of the One True God, of [Varmont], and of Antillia, Kolchis, Alatyr, Aarnu, Vinetta, Kvenheim, Aotepo, Argadara, Xangadu, Malakarta, Affaraon, and Astaira, and of his Dominions beyond the Seas, One True Emperor, Protector of Vyrajj, God-King of Kolchis, Archduke of the Two Isles and of the Shimmering Seas Overlord, King-Elector of the Astairans, Lord of the Two Lands, Sun-King of the Hauren, Divine Emperor of the Iddenese, the Freefolk, and the Cockaignians, Evenstar of Astaira*, Conqueror of the Twelve Kingdoms, Defender of the Faith, and God's Own Champion
*i hc that that's just the title of the ~lord of stafford~ but roderick still isn't quite taking in the whole premise of elected kings and so he's like 'obv that is the title of the ruler of astaira' and...its not so astairans hear this and they just like 'why that one county??? and why not malconaire or lorcan or smth too?? but ok' alkdjfkljdsf bc i love to laugh at roderick

Tis Arrax: Carmilla, the Vees and a few other Overlords are attacked, and permanently killed. Valentino, Zeezi, flaming skull guy all die. Carmilla, Velvette and Vox are heavily wounded but manage to flee (Carmilla because of he daughters and Zestial (who takes Carmilla and her kid and surviving souls to his territory) while Vel, Vox and their surviving Souls end up at the Hotel.
Pentagram City is a war zone. Rosie's cannibals are holding the line, alongside Zestial's spiders but with the entertainment District out of commission it's hard turning back this new sinner who is trying to become the ONLY OVERLORD in pride.
Alastor is pissed off, because Vox is comatose and can't be repaired without parts from the entertainment District, which can't be reached as it's a no man's land currently. Eventually Carmilla calls a meeting and the surviving Overlords meet up (alongside Lucifer who is actually pissed) to discuss what to do. They realize they need Vox's help as his ability with cameras and drones would be extremely helpful.
Lucifer decides to turn Vox into a more demonic being. "He'll be more like a Sin then a hellborn. He'll still be Vox, of course--and still have a soul, but his body and power will be at Sin level. It's our best bet. Of course he'll have to answer to me and Charlie, but that won't be a problem." Because his kingdom is getting more fucked up then even he can stand and well, if gaining another Sin is what it takes then so be it.
So Lucifer Zaps Vox, and everyone watches as Vox changes. His TV head disappears, and instead his human face is back (but he has his antenna, his overlord eyes, and his shark fangs.) Long dark hair with a streak of red, and he lazily blinks open his eyes. "W-what?"
arrax how come you keep showing up in my inbox and dropping bangers. like a little guardian angel/demon. angmon. idk.
anyway i actually really love this idea, ive been a sucker for the idea of vox reverting back to his human body ever since i read negotiations LOL
i cant help but imagine that this would end in something akin to chaos, like half the overlords present going 'holy shit he's actually HOT without the tv head???' or, going off of my own headcanons of vox being an actor in life, some of the newer overlords going 'I FUCKING WATCHED HIS MOVIES' and freaking out about it. everyones going crazy meanwhile alastor just kind of crouches over his muse, whos still looking around disorientedly with confusion and whispers into his ear, 'don't worry sweetheart, i know its probably pretty loud in here, isnt it? i'll take you to a quieter place' and vox, who's still very much out of it just mindlessly agrees because hey, it's alastor and he's talking to him again for some reason, and it IS pretty loud here, so surely theres no harm in saying yes to the offer, right? (he is NOT leaving alastors sight anytime soon. lucifer has to knock down his door in the hotel to try and bring vox back to fight off the overlord wannabes and he nearly ends up having to fight alastor himself for all his troubles)
i expect you to share more of this with me later. but this is Such a tasty prompt i couldnt help myself LOL

Kingdoms - Obey Me TSL
[✧] ー Have you ever wondered how each kingdom in the Tale of Seven Lords looks? Part 2 of my TSL rants <3 all of them will come with the tag #♡ ┊ tsl rants by pk.
[✧] ー extra: Lord Diavolo, Barbatos, Simeon, Luke and even Solomon's places are mentioned too :)
The Main Three:
♡ ┊ There are three empires over all. Where angels, the holy creatures of light reside, is named Aurum. And where the Demons, creatures of darkness and sin reside, is named Sumbra. And then there is the land of humans, the place were creatures hold both darkness and light within themselves, known as Equilibrium.
♡ ┊ Aurum is ruled by a group of higher up angels named 'Father'. That father doesn't exist, but many believe it to do, especially the humans of Equilibrium. Some of the angels are known of these dark truths, and flee. The angel Simeon and the young angel in training Luke are two examples of the ones who flee, and live in Sumbra. The kingdom of demons, Sumbra, has one main Emperor, known as the King of Lords. That is where Lord Diavolo stands. That part of Sumbra is pretty much like a capital and has its own dukes, counts, etc. The roles are mostly based on Ars Goetia, much like Duke Barbatos. There are six kingdoms in Sumbra, ruled over by the seven overlords.
♡ ┊ And last but not the least is Equilibrium. The main king is King Solomon the wise, but the king himself is not seen much and is only named in stories. King Solomon the wise has disguised himself as a traveller between the three worlds and is known as a sorcerer.
Lord of Corruption:
♡ ┊ The Lord of Corruption's kingdom is by far, the coldest. Full of tall mountains and snow, and corrupted shadows. It is as if clouds are always looming over the kingdom throughout the daytime, and it's very rare for the people to see the sun. Nights are usually clear, but the shadows are ever lasting. The people in Lord of Corruption's domain are known for their harsh exterior but soft hearts, and they're very good when it comes to taming and controlling others. People are mostly wearing warm clothing, and they're very formal.
Lord of Fools:
♡ ┊ A deserted area, but full of glory. Imagine ancient Egypt, but make it eve more magical and elegant. The weather is usually hot, even in winters. As I stated in my other post, I like to imagine that his kingdom has multiple mines of gold and diamond, and many palaces like ancient middle eastern asian countries. The people are known for their good trades and they have connections all over Sumbra, some having connections in Equilibrium too. While Lord of Shadow's domain is good at training knights and war, Lord of Fool's domain is known for their wealth and connection, which makes them very scary.
Lord of Shadow:
♡ ┊ A fantasy kingdom, surrounded by water. The weather is amazing, if you enjoy being around seas a lot. Most of the people have their own sea pets and are great swimmers. I've once read that Levi trained and lead soldiers in wars, and so, I believe his kingdom in the TSL series is also good at training knights. The best knights in Sumbra are trained in Lord of Shadow's domain and have a badge that indicates that they've been trained there. They have huge troops of soldiers for wars and are known for their shape shifting abilities.
Lord of Masks:
♡ ┊ Have you ever seen pictures of magical forests where elves live? Where fairies fly around freely and magical animals walk around? That's the vibes I get when I think of the Lord of Masks. Also, many mystical animals are there. From golden deers to six eyed cats. The weather can be like rainy forests in summer, or as cold as the night in a desert. The whole kingdom, overall, gives cottagecore vibes. The people are known for their talent in plays and theatres. And if you want to read a good book, the best writers are from Lord of Masks' territory.
Lord of Lechery:
♡ ┊ Again another kingdom within mountains, but unlike Lord of Corruption's kingdom, Lord of Lechery's kingdom has warmer weather and more colorful flowers. Lord of Lechery's kingdom, or Asmo's kingdom, is also home to colorful birds and creatures that can live in mountains. Mostly birds though. The people are known for their fashion and amazing taste in colors. They're not that strong when it comes to war and magic, unlike Lord of Masks or Lord of Shadows, but the kingdom is supported by many. Many of the people don't see a reason for war either, why fight when all the other kingdoms love them and their lines of clothing?
Lord of Flies and Lord of Emptiness:
♡ ┊ The kingdom of sun and moon, the empire of light and dark. Where the skies are truly a sight and miracles happen. The kingdom is huge enough that it has been divided to two sides: The Sun, The Moon. This kingdom attracts many tourists, because sun and moon co-exist, they see each other everyday and even if they move, they're still together in the sky (which makes a very beautiful sight).
♡ ┊ Much like the kingdom itself, the people also have two sides. But that doesn't make them 'bad'. They have very delicious food and galaxy themed art. Things you can never find in other places of the world. There many accurate fortune tellers there and people who can read stars for multiple purposes, not just finding their way. The weather depends on where you are, the part dedicated to Lord of Flies? Pretty warm. Mind you, flies do exist there, and they adore the temperature. The part dedicated to Lord of Emptiness? You might need a blanket or too, but don't worry, it's not as cold of Lord of Corruption's domain.
These have been done for RP purposes. Shoot a message if you'd like to rp <;3 what should the next part be? wedding traditions? souvenirs? [Part 1]

RE thinking about King Gerard in Unicorn Overlord -
We knew the man was a trash dad and a trash king, but thinking about his "sacred blade" and the ring he gives Alain in the main quest...
Both items are supposed (?) to be blessed, somehow, by the holy Unicorn and prevent, gameplay wise, status/afflictions : Alain with his grandpa's sword cannot be frozen or poisoned anymore.
Ludonarration being a thing, if Gerard died to poison while he had access to this kind of equipment, it either meant the sword+ring didn't work when he was shot, or, he didn't have them when he took his "let's travel around the world" trip.
However, lore wise, we know the Unicorn is a symbol of faithfulness, trust and oaths - Rosalinde warns Alain that if he betrays his covenant, he will suffer a fate worse than death
(which might have been done by Zenoirans with their whole "sacrifice that horned pony Baltro said it'd be fun" which condemned them to the netherworld)
What if Gerard was spurned/couldn't wear any "unicorn blessed" stuff during his reign, because he was not the kind of king who could uphold covenants, be faithful and trusted etc etc?
I mean, bar his implied affair with Alcina - while Ilenia and Ilenia's sib were kiddies and most likely had their mom around - Gerard effectively ditched his duty as a King, going as far as calling his coronation something like a nice distraction/event.
Sure, his musings about what makes him more competent than a random to rule and reflection about status could have stuck a chord with some people about general themes like classicism* and all -
Nonetheless ditching your country and the oath to protect/rule/govern it that comes with being its ruler, especially when your family is magically bonded to a fantasy creature that values faithfulness and adherence to vows, is a dick move and I can't unsee the "he was suddenly hit by a poisonous arrow" as some sort of karmic retribution : unicorn themed accessories could have saved him, but King Gerard was - from what we know - spitting on the Holy Unicorn's principles and covenants, so he was banned/couldn't use those accessories and died as a result.
And died because back then, Alcina didn't buy a charm that cures poison.
*Clive seems to have been his biggest supporter, talking about the Province of the Ashen Blue and its creation but from a ruling/Cornian royal family standpoint, the creation of the Ashen Blue was akin to lighting a bomb - and Gerard ran away before being caught in its explosion, leaving his kid daughter deal with the consequences.
The Ashen Blue Order and Province, per Clive's story, is basically a land Gerard gave to minor knights who would only obey to him, and not to their feudal lord (the pecking order seemed to have been this King > Big Noble > Smaller Noble > Random Noble > Knight with the > noting the bonds of vasselage existing).
Gerard thus erased Big, Smaller and Random Nobles, so the Knights would be able to administrative their province themselves, and only obey to him (and not to their lords).
Of course doing something like this, and we have enough examples IRL, would alienate those nobles, and they wouldn't be super happy with the King or Royal Family who decided to pull something like this.
We know in the prologue that nearly all Lords from the Kingdom of Cornia turned against Ilenia, is it because they were all fooled by Galerius-Valmore, or because they were all corrupt? Or because some of them had legit grievances they fostered since Gerard's days and the dude being killed like bum their grievances were transfered to Gerard's daughter, Ilenia?
Shit dad, shit king and most likely shit husband, hopefully he passed the "be a broken unit on a pony" genes to his grandson, because otherwise... He'd be a total failure lol
Still, I like how UO spends time telling and showing the player that the various countries had their own issues before Zenoira rolled over them - unlike a certain verse it doesn't make Zenoiran invasion and occupation uwustified and no one wants to walk with Galvius nor hold his hand - and it's up to the newer generation, or Alain's friends, to change that for the better.
#unicorn overlord stuff#tfw Gerard can't use his prf accessories and weapons bcs the Unicorn calls him a bum#and prevents him from using them#it's a legit good interrogation and question the 'why should i be the one to rule is it only bcs i was born in this fam?'#but in an universe where said family has a sacred duty to the horned pony of legend and ability to save the world if ghosts want to pop up#ft their necromancer pal#imo you can't just bail out especially if it's to escape your duties and foster them instead on your litteral kids#Big G was a crap dad a crap king and it's inferred he was a crap hubby#the betrayal angle of the Unicorn could mean betrayal from his husband vows or his duty as the King#and we know what happens when you mess with unicorns in that verse#you either become a vengeful spirit or die to the first poisoned arrow around#come to think of it Gerard didn't ascend either? Was he also cursed or what?

what are alastor and lilith up to?
alastor claimed he hadn’t been in hell for a while, and zestial brought up the running theory of him being in “holy hands”
i think alastor and lilith were hiding on earth so neither heaven nor hell would figure out their plan
it would explain why alastor made modern references in his song, because he was exposed to the modern earth!! (that’s the tea, chasing clout, podcast, etc)
but what exactly is their plan?!?
WELL.
we know lilith was outcasted from heaven, as was lucifer; she thrived in her new kingdom of hell, according to charlie’s introduction monologue. it would make sense if lilith wanted to protect her home and expand it—she wants to take over heaven! why not enlist a powerful overlord to help with that? in exchange, perhaps alastor wants something from heaven too, like his MOM!!! we’ve known for a while alastor was close to his mother, and has lots of trouble maintaining relationships down in hell. you either run from the guy, or you don’t miss him when he’s gone.
lilith sent alastor back down to hell to protect her daughter, and to have someone to make sure hell would be well off without her while she stirred up trouble in earth and heaven.
ANYWAYS carry on with ur doom scrolling

HWS Female Holy Rome X England (Medieval Empire X Modern Empire)
AESTHETIC MOOD BOARD
❝Many German and English writers were fond of expressing a common Anglo-Saxon-Germanic heritage prior to 1914, but in fact this largely disappeared after the Saxon migrations of late antiquity. Important contacts remained, especially with the renewed missionary activity promoted by the Carolingians, who often relied on qualified monks from the British Isles, like St Boniface, but otherwise England and the Empire evolved separately. While a sense of Saxon heritage may have played a part, both countries were sufficiently distant not to be immediate competitors. Ironically, this opened possibilities for royal marriages which, like Byzantine-imperial matches, were intended mainly to impress a domestic audience and avoid antagonizing a king’s nobles by tying him to one local family. Otto I married Alfred the Great’s granddaughter, Edith of Wessex, while Henry III married Gunhild, daughter of Knut of Denmark-England. Edith’s and Knut’s deaths ended any chances of a lasting alliance in both cases.
❝By contrast, connections in the high Middle Ages were more significant, if less celebrated in the nineteenth century. Emperor Henry V married Matilda, daughter of Henry I of England, in 1114 as a deliberate attempt to forge an alliance with the Anglo-Norman dynasty ruling much of Britain since 1066. It was hoped this would outflank a Franco-papal alliance threatening the Empire towards the end of the Investiture Dispute.❞
- Peter H. Wilson, Heart of Europe: A History of the Holy Roman Empire
❝On his mother's advice, Richard resigned the kingdom of England to Henry VI in order to receive it back as a fief of the empire. He was to pay his overlord £5,000 a year. Richard was now a vassal of Philip for his continental lands and a vassal of Henry VI for his island kingdom, but it seems that in England few, if any, were willing to acknowledge this, and that this part of the agreement was hushed up. At Henry's court, of course, it was regarded as the jewel in the crown.
❝On the day of his release, Henry VI and the princes of the empire had sent Philip and John a letter telling them that they would do all they could to help Richard if everything that had been taken while Richard was in captivity was not restored at once.❞
- John Gillingham, Richard I
❝On the morning of 6 August an imperial herald in full regalia rode through Vienna to the Jesuit church of the Nine Choirs of Angels. After climbing to the balcony, he summoned the inhabitants with a silver fanfare to announce the end of the Empire.
❝The Empire was certainly not dead by the late eighteenth century, and if it was sick, as Zedler and others suggested, it was not yet on life support. If revolutionary France had not intervened, the most likely prognosis was that the Empire’s socio-political order would have persisted further into the nineteenth century, but it is unlikely that this could have been sustained against the levelling and homogenizing forces unleashed by capitalism and industrialization around 1830.
❝By 1806, some leading intellectuals expressed the sense that the Empire had been sick for a long time and that its doctors had long given up hope. Goethe’s mother wrote two weeks after Francis II’s abdication that the news was not unexpected, ‘as when an old friend is very ill’. Later historians have expressed similar views that the Empire died ‘a “natural” death’ from old age, rather than having been murdered by Napoleon.❞
- Peter H. Wilson, Heart of Europe: A History of the Holy Roman Empire
❞By the end of the Napoleonic Wars, French imperialism had been curbed in North America, the Caribbean, and parts of Asia, but soon much of North and West Africa would be brought under French political and cultural influence. Spain was no longer a major power, but after the demise of its empire in the 1830’s its cultural dominance in the countries of South America remained: their economies urban, their governments strictly centralized, and their peoples devoutly Catholic in the Spanish style (Fernandez-Armesto, 2003). The Dutch and Portuguese empires were also in decline, and yet survived, resistant to radical change because of the commercial benefits derived from their overseas possessions. However, none of these four imperial orders came close to matching the size and power and wealth of the British Empire.
❝Encompassing nearly a quarter of the Earth’s land mass and a quarter of its population, the British Empire in the 19th century grew into the most extensive empire the world has ever seen.❞
- Douglas M. Johnston, In The Historical Foundations of World Order: The Tower and the Arena

Overlord AU
Given the secret function with the Horn of the Goblin General seems to imply that there was a title system within Yggdrasil, plus Touch Me’s World Champion title let him use his armor if I’m remembering the lore right
So what if Momonga started earning himself titles, especially because they grants skills and abilities without taking up levels so he earns various titles, some of which means he’s able to read runes and other languages (earned through a quest line about bringing peace between two warring cities that spoke and wrote different languages) became immune to holy magic (he had to defeat an Archon King Angel and with that title also earned a slight level in the angel race meaning he got wings) and so on and so forth even finding some titles he could give to the NPCs with permission from his guild mates
He actually earned so many titles that he earned a title Master of Titles (a joke from the devs) which allowed him to grant others titles
How would this change his journey in the New World?
Thinking about this, touching back on the last one where if he had Cayna's ability, I feel like it would be the same, as in he would, with permission from the guild mates, to give their NPCs powerful abilities. Before the shutdown, I feel there would be nobody that could even enter Nazarick, even the lowest level monsters would probably have powerful abilities that normal players wouldn't be able to get past easily, and those who do definitely won't get past Shalltear, not unless if they are like Momonga, and spams cash shop items.
After the changeover, I feel like when he gets to planning (read: getting Demiurge to tell everyone his 'plans') to take over, he would look at all of the floor guardians as well as the other monsters who call Nazarick home. He would see what abilities they have, and using his Master of Titles, something he originally liked until he learned othes were making fun of him, he would give them abilities that would fit with not only their personalities, but with the abilities and skills they already have. This would make them way more powerful than they originally were in the series.
I can also see him, when he's creating his Death Knights for example, that he could bestow abilities on them as well, like something that would give them a higher attack or defense stat, or giving them abilities to do specific attacks that is not normal for Death Knights.
Most all of the floor guardians, as well as the Battle Maids, would be blessed with the language skill, as he would use them to spread his reach both farther and faster than he originally would have, so soon that whole world knows of him, and with their abilities, they can defend themselves (and crush some skulls) if said kingdoms don't take kindly to the one nice request Momonga is willing to give them.
There would be no way, period, that these kingdoms would survive if he had this skill, but I feel like Momonga would use a handful as examples to the other kingdoms, and shows those who are opposing them that they have no chance, to entice them into surrendering. Momonga knows he could rule with his power and fear, putting everyone beneath him, but I don't think he would be a tyrant, and he would turn the world into a booming world, where nobody would have to want for anything and nobody has to suffer unnecessarily from hunger or war, not having access to basic needs.
The world would be under his command quickly, but it would thrive under his rule.

So I got Sonic X Shadow (PAUSE) Generations
So far I'm digging it! The Sonic story so far is a little tedious but that's just because I'm not used to the movement. I've only played the older Sonic games via emulator and that was just out of boredom in high school. Overall though, it's pretty good.
But the SHADOW side of things...
Holy crap I love it. The music goes SO god damn hard! I'm only a few levels in and I'm about to unlock the second boss (which I'm suspecting is Metal Overlord since I already fought the Biolizard and its fire remix of Supporting Me and I just unlocked the surfing ability, which the trailers showed Shadow using to fight Metal Overlord. I'm closing in on that What I'm Made Of remix!) So far my favorite levels are City Escape on the Sonic side, and both Kingdom Valley and Sunset Heights on the Shadow side.

I'm sure by now you're tired of reading/hearing about the overlord but today she posted something funny and I thought I shared with you , and I quote
" I find it interesting that Gwyn wanted to name her sword Silver Majesty. The sword Gwydion kind ties with both and could be an Easter egg." " Silver: it's dark blade emits what was described as a holy, savior's light and that also connects to Gwyn's holy status as a priestess and the light she emits while she sings. Gwyn's name means bright, white, blessed. Majesty: It belonged to a High King whose name is also the Irish equivalent to Gwyn (= Fionn) Gwydion: In Celtic mythology is a trickster/magician from the Kingdom of Gwynedd, which the name Gwyneth is derived from."
Now I wonder if she's pulled a muscle from all the reaching she's being doing lately.
Didn't Gwyn also name the sword 'Killer'?
So....therefore, 'because Azriel is a killer and has killing power, and both are Carynthians and both sing therefore endgame!!!!!!!!'
(newsflash: Gwyn didn't actually have a sword. It was a hypothetical question which dealt with Nesta. Not Gwyn. There is no actual 'Silver Majesty' and also, everyone made fun of it. So there is that.)
Some people love bending and twisting words so much, they must be Olympic gymnasts.
