I'd like to think that the first person, who unknowingly, is the one to come close to uncovering Shadow as like an alien form/ organic than a robot, is Magnet Man. Yet Mags doesn't know that he's not a robot, he just thinks he's heavier/ made of different material, what have you.

you're SO right it is a fall show!! like sure it technically takes place in winter but the red of the flower and the wood tones of the set and yeah just the whole vibe is sooo fall.

Unfortunately, due to a bunch of flight complications, I wasn't able to go 😭😭😭 However, I am planning on maybe going during october as a little early birthday celebration not only for the show but also just 'cause I LOVE New York City in the fall!! If that does end up happening, I promise I will tell you ALL ABOUT IT AND ALL ABOUT THE TRIP!!!

Also, kind of side note, but Hadestown in my mind is just such a perfect fall show. I associate it so heavily with fall and I just OUGH IT'S SO NICE!!!

batman rogues future space au headcanon

A thought that popped up in my head that I want to explore a bit.

In a distant future far beyond our galaxy, the rogues are on a space mission on a previously undiscovered planet, believed to be uninhabited by carbon-based lifeforms.

Who would be on that mission, and what would be their responsibility on the base?

• Dr. Jonathan Crane would be one of the scientific researchers, analyzing samples and documenting their finds. He'd, of course, mess with the other crew members, feeding off their fear of dying out there, running out of food, never making it home - there is just so much to be afraid of in space. He'd also make up stories of potential threats, creatures he claims to have seen, just to spook the others.

• I'd imagine Dr. Jervis Tetch would be working alongside him, mostly doing paperwork and following Dr. Crane's instructions. Their base's AI would be called ALICE, to keep him in check. He'd make sure everyone is taking frequent breaks, mostly because he himself wants some tea.

• Perhaps Dr. Victor Fries would be another lead scientist, his real goal being to make a new discovery that would advance his research in finding a cure for Nora. He'd wear a space suit with a cooling function all the time, even inside the base, unless he's in his quarters, which are also kept below zero. He could survive longer without a suit outside their base than the other rogues, but he does need to breathe, and the pressure would also kill him eventually.

• Edward Nygma would be the tech admin, seeing to it that everything is working as it should in the base, improving ALICE, as well as overseeing their solar power. He'd also spy on every one of the crew members. There are cameras installed everywhere inside and outside of the base, but not in the crew's personal quarters. That's what Eddie would have them believe. His secret intention is to turn everyone against each other for fun, because he's terribly bored. At the same time he wants to come out of this mission as the person that made some grand discovery, and that the mission was a success all thanks to him, even if he has to completely make something up or steal from the others.

• Dr. Pamela Isley would definitely be taking care of their oxygen levels and nutrition. They'd have a large botanical garden dome, where they'd grow herbs, fruits, vegetables, trees, etc. She'd ask the plants kindly to give their produce to her, and if anyone takes anything without the plants' permission she'll freak out and go on a murdering spree.

• Dr. Harleen Quinzel would be the medic/therapist that makes sure everyone stays healthy and "sane", as in not losing their mind even more due to being isolated on an uninhabited planet in the middle of nowhere.

• Selina Kyle would be one of their explorers, actually leaving the base frequently and make new discoveries that she documents and brings findings back to the base. Her secret goal, of course, is to find some kind of treasure there that she'd keep for herself and not tell the others about.

• Oswald Cobblepot could be their earth contact, their boss/contractor, occasionally video/hologram-calling them on how the mission is going. He'd mostly pick at them for their "incompetence", complain about things taking so long and asking what he pays them for if they don't bring results. None of the crew like Mr. Cobblepot. Everyone thinks of what they'll do to him when they get back.

I honestly don't see the Joker coming along with them, that would just be a recipe for disaster, and I also don't know what his role could be. Harvey Dent is also too risky, and there isn't much need for a lawyer. Any conflict between the crew members would be resolved by the therapist (Harley) anyway.
