I don’t often see wild cacti at home. It was special to have some prickly pears in the neighborhood and right on the property we stayed at in Corolla, NC.

Bodie Island Lighthouse is situated on the northern end of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore along the Outer Banks, in Nags Head, North Carolina. This is the third lighthouse that was constructed in the area, after the first was abounded due to having a weak foundation in 1859, and the second was destroyed by Confederate troops during the Civil War in 1861. The current lighthouse stands at a height of 156ft and is one of the few remaining brick tower lighthouses located in the United States. During the day, the lighthouse's daymark pattern of horizontal black and white bands stacking up the tower is visible. At night, you can observe the original first-order Fresnel lens magnifying its light over 20 miles across the horizon, making this lighthouse not only a unique attraction but also a site with a rich history.

Idk if you ever watched Outer Banks, not really a great show, but the relationship between the siblings Rafe and Sarah is kind of interesting. Also the actress who plays Sarah just looks a lot like one of Drew's (the actor who plays Rafe) sister (you should check that out, they look like twins) and they have a great on-screen chemistry!
