Here's a one-of-a-kind 2004 custom home in Haddonfield, New Jersey. From the exterior you really can't tell how special it is inside. 5bds, 7ba, $3.5M.

It's an open floor plan and this is the great room/main living space. Check out the fireplace - it has a cage around the chimney, and that structure on the right is the kitchen. Isn't this unusual? It combines traditional with contemporary, modern farmhouse, traditional, and rustic.

I think that the idea was to bring the outdoors in. The room looks like an outdoor patio surrounded by a stone and shingled house. The living room area is a typical rustic space, but is in a corner a few steps above the great room.

The open kitchen in this corner looks like it's under a pergola.

In a way, it kind of looks like an outdoor food stand.

The cook top area is very nice with the backsplash and hood over it.

It has a very spacious office. I suppose that this room could be something else if you don't need an office.

And, it also has a dedicated exercise space.

Plus a children's playroom. I suppose that this could be a sunroom or conservatory if you don't have small children.

The 2nd level hall is quite long and has windows overlooking the main living area.

This is the home theater.

There's a kitchenette up here.

The primary bedroom has a high ceiling.

The en-suite bath is large and elaborate.

And, it also has a closet/dressing room.

Plus a lovely private terrace.

The guest room has a kitchenette.

The bedrooms are all very large. This is a child's room.

Bathrooms along the hall.

This must be a playroom for older kids, centered on sports. I've never seen hockey played in the basement.

There's a large wine cellar.

Hall in the basement.

A very large closet looks like it's for seasonal clothing.

And, this storage room looks like it's for seasonal decor.

Interesting outer sunporch that curves around the house.

The grounds are lovely and the home is on a .92 acre lot.

Converted from Sims 2 and edited/adapted for Sims 4 - original by Wood for Sims - this is a set to furnish and decorate the surroundings in your Old West hood.

There's so many options with mask-making, it can get really overwhelming, especially if you're anything like me and you're excited to try them all. Personally, I make cast foam masks, which can get costly and the process time-consuming, unless you're planning on making a lot of them. I like them because they have a lot of benefits for active performance, they're super easy to decorate, and it's a material I'm very familiar with. The downside is that they're quite chonky in some areas, so the illusion isn't as nice as something more fitted like Latex or resin, which have a lot of drawbacks of their own.

The best way to narrow it down is to think about what your needs are, activities, outdoors or indoors, how much breathability or vision, materials allergies, what tools/materials might be most accessible. I could probably make some tutorials on some of the more accessible mask-making methods for different situations.

Commission-wise, I do the half mask furred hoods for between £180-£220 + shipping depending on any special details or materials, I'm also going to be making full masks with lower jaws in the future, I'm not sure of the pricing yet though, I want to make a couple of pre-made's so I can get a feel for the workload.

I don't have a horse model sculpted yet, but that's something I can work on in the next round of sculpts :)

Their school colors are various shades of green and gold/yellow.

They have a decent tourney team.

Their mascot is a falcon.

They have the best archery team.

The school has a pet falcon named 'Forest'.

The school is surrounded by mountains and forests, and is mainly made up wood/logs.

The school has no electricity or indoor plumbing. They use mainly torches, lanterns, and candles and they have outhouses (and there is a lake outside, alongside outdoor showers).

The snowball/mud fights are a nightmare.

Sherwood High has a Robin Hood Statue outside.

Bobby Hood was a sports commentator for the school as a student.

Many of the merrymen are teachers there. Which meant Bobby can't get away with anything. Seriously, they be snitches.

Bobby didn't even get to tell anyone he was dating Tiger Peony himself. Someone in school found out, then told their friends. And rumors fly fast in Sherwood, so the whole school knew before the day was over. INCLUDING THE STAFF.

Bobby's dad sent him a congrats letter the next day.

Bobby spent the last year of his schooling at Auradon Prep. No one at Sherwood High was happy but Bobby refused to spend his makeup year there.

Many Merrymen's children (as well as Robin Hood's many other children) go to school there but so do many of Sherwood's other children. Many of which are human-animal shifters.

Ever seen early schoolings? With chalkboards and stuff? Sherwood school looks mostly like that.

Sherwood High has great decorations (some of them can be considered tacky, because the school is full of hunters...).

The cafeteria serves plenty of fish, meat, veggies, and fruit... as well as homemade juice, fresh milk, and water to drink (they also sell the students' soda/coffee too).

They have the BIGGEST rivalry with Neverland Academy's Gators (tourney team for the school).

Their prank wars are like a battlefield. But it's nowhere near as bad as the rivalry between Seaside High and Olympus High (all of the schools are wildly competitive with each other).

The Wi-Fi is surprisingly decent. No one knows how, though.

The Angry Beavers: That was nuts! The Angry Beavers was an animated series that aired on Nickelodeon in 1997, and is regarded as one of the original Nicktoons from the 90s lineup. The show revolves around two beaver brothers, Norbert and Daggett, who share a dam after being kicked out of their parents’ home and embark on various misadventures together. The series was a hit with audiences due to its zany humor and the quirky, contrasting personalities of laid-back intellectual Norbert and hyperactive, impulsive Daggett. And that theme song! Go listen to it again, we’ll wait.

Barbie Sun Jammer 4x4: A picture’s worth a thousand words here. The Barbie Sun Jammer 4x4 was a toy vehicle produced by Mattel, roughly sized for a 5-8 year old child. The Sun Jammer was essentially a Barbie-themed off-road vehicle, designed with bright colors and decorative elements incredibly telling of its time to match the Barbie aesthetic; it typically included features like a working hood, opening doors, and sometimes even a radio or sound system for imaginative play. This allowed children to create outdoor games and roleplay driving scenarios as Barbie themselves– or, in some cases, just pretend to be their dirtbag teenage sibling driving to their imaginary boyfriend’s beach house. In Game World You'd Live In: Tartosa maybe? Or Brindleton Bay? Actually Henford-on-Bagley is lovely as well... Okay, I would live anywhere, as long as I can keep my family and friends.

Favorite Townie: I enjoy making my own townies and delete all the premade sims as soon as I can. So I have no idea about those townies! Even the indelible ones gets a full make over if they should dare to show their face in my historical hoods. In that sense Vlad and the Crumplebottom cousins are most often played. Well, Agatha is the most charming one, so let's have her as a "favorite".

Most Used Pack: Since I've done a lot of Stone Age and Early Civilization building, probably Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure. My favorite is Seasons however. I'm a sucker for realism, and just love those snow storms. Well not really, but I do love the changing seasons.

Favorite Decor Object: Fruit bowls! Can't get enough of them! And my papyrus scroll bookshelf - I put them everywhere!

You Want In the Game: Anything that improves historical realism. Also I miss so much the lovely realistic looking builds in slopes from TS3 and free placement of lots from TS2. And please please please give us the possibility to have different heights of walls next to each other. With roof!!!

What Color Is Your Plumbob: I have a chronic disease making my energy level constantly very low, so if I'm truthful I would say red'ish. But my mood is great, so I go for bright green!

Here's where I am at with the Mercury Kingdom:

Mercury - Agua Machyna (temp name)

Aka Aquadom

Most technologically advanced among the kingdoms

Governance and culturally prioritized efficiency; scholarly and technology-focused.

Runs on diarchy, the two highest rulers are titled "Sage", gender doesn't matter.

Sages are selected intentionally seeking the balance between one being elected based on their scholarly passion and knowledge, and the other ruler based on strategical and logistical prowess. Intelligence and communication skills (+ charisma) are two minimum requirements to be elected as Sages.

Culture and vibes: Very scholarly and academia-focused. Not necessarily about looking for the next new thing, but more in the sense of always wanting to find the right answer to things. Disputes and conflicts are settled by... debates and evidence. Rarely violence. Tents and explorations vs towers and building of research and tech labs, libraries, and clinical facilities. Explorers vs historians & scholars vs crazy scientists or inventors, and advanced medical knowledge.

Many underground habitats and full cities were built because of Mercury's temperature given its close distance to Sol (Sun).

Multi-factors on the planet, based on profession/skill. (like no one would bat an eye when they hear an explosion in the Inventor's Corner [City]. But that would scare the crap out of all scholars in their book towers in the Scholar's Cave [City].)

Clothes: Kinda plain, not decorative or extravagant, a mix of futuristic vibes with retro-ancient vibes. Usually just a maximum of 2 colours in any outfit. Focuses on functionality, max 2 layers. The top layer changes depending on climate/temperature. Big hoods! Round-hoods for explorers and archeologists (outdoor exhibitions), pointy-hoods for scholars (library and academy go-ers), and no-hoods for lab workers and doctors, coz they need to wear all sorts of protective or assisting headgear anyway.

Affinity/Superpower: Water. Mercurians have varying degrees of attunement and adaptability to extreme temperatures due to their affinity to water to self-regulate temperate against cold or heat.

Motifs: water, round shapes or raindrop shapes, curved lines (river/water flow imagery), brightness, clean almost sterile.

Lifestyle: chaotic but healthy? There are a bunch of health and safety regulations and also daily reminders to make sure their people are eating and working enough instead of everyone becoming either hunchbacks from reading or blind from overusing their eyes for weeks on end. It's a 24/7 lifestyle though, people just choose when they want a break, when they wanna sleep when they wanna eat and make sure the appropriate personnel/machine/resources are always available when they need it. People are oddly absent-minded when they are not thinking about things that are their area of expertise, that's why they have technological helpers for daily stuff.

Upbringing: talent- and asset-focused; they let children naturally observe and choose what they gravitate towards or show skill in and follow the path of professional schooling and apprenticeship from a very young age. Would be shitty for folks who want to do something just purely as a hobby, or decide later in life they want to change course, but not impossible.

I have a very serious problem with starting projects and leaving them halfway and picking them up again at random moments in my life.

My old saves

My Maxis Uberhood and Nekojima (lovely neighborhood) used to be my only saves but...

Nekojima: I somehow corrupted Nekojima in a strange way (it was perfectly functional and I could continue to use it, but the children... they had attraction for adults and the elderly and the sims had attraction for themselves too, I mean, it was a very strange thing and which created discomfort. I didn't do ANYTHING to corrupt the neighborhood, but evidently something must have gone wrong when I started installing any type of lot (unaware that people didn't clean them from the sim references and that there was the worst shit inside).

My Maxis Uberhood: on the other hand is still perfectly healthy, it doesn't have any kind of problem (in fact I didn't throw it away, I still have the backup and I can use it whenever I want) but I no longer liked the "random" way I used to play. I mean, I played pointlessly by making anyone have children with anyone without a plot and following wants and the whole story was lost.

Then I changed the default of everything, there was the problem of Lindasims cc which corrupted all my saves and therefore I had to go back to using old backups from months ago and FIX everything again, so I simply decided to archive this save and restart it from scratch. (Also because I also had plastic surgeries to some sims that I don't like and I regretted it, not to mention the maxis lifespan that I HATE which made my children grow too quickly and I had them almost adults while the parents weren't even halfway their life.)

My current saves

My NEW Maxis Uberhood: This is funny because I created it but I haven't even opened it yet. I didn't touch ANYTHING because I was distracted by other saves. Mostly I haven't touched it yet because I'm undecided whether to use ALL the neighborhoods or just the usual 3 from the base game. And also because I decorated PV, ST and VV in other saves (the neighborhoods) and I was busy doing that with the intention of then moving the hood decos to the new uberhood too.

My BACC: To be honest this is not a new save. It dates back to the days of the old Maxis Uberhood and is one of the saves infected by Lindasims' cc. What I have now is a clean backup but I have absolutely not touched it since then also because it was also the period that I changed all my defaults and I didn't have the physical and mental strength to fix all the sims and lots. At the time I wanted to fix my old maxis uberhood first which was a bigger project, but in the end I decided to start from scratch and this BACC remained pending. I'm thinking of recovering this save and fixing it during this period when I'm often without internet due to various problems.

Paraiso En Las Rocas: I call this save "my safe save" because it is the only save I can use when I clean up the download folder since it only uses the castaway conversions which are ALL in one folder and the default replacements of hair, eyes and skin, things that I rarely change. This save is almost ready to play. I need to add some lights in the neighborhood (but I'm thinking of not doing it anymore because: the neighborhoods are huge (neighborhoods because I use Paraiso En El Mar as a subhood too) and honestly some terrains are too steep and the lights don't fit well.

Besides this, it would bother me to put outdoor lights in each lot to make the Better Nightlife lights work, it would ruin the aesthetic of the island and the lots are so large that I already have too many problems with pink flashing and frame rate drops, I would like to avoid other problems.

And apart from the lights (which I think I won't put anymore) I have to invent some stories to write in the descriptions of the families of Downtown, Riverblossom Hills and Belladonna Cove (+ some sims from TS3 and TS4) that I added to populate Paraiso En El Mar.

My Early Veronaville: My Early Veronaville is a HUGE PROJECT I created to complement Gutosimmer's Early Pleasantview and Early Strangetown. Unfortunately, having too many custom NPCs (PT & IP) and the SDHB, I can't share it and this makes me very nervous.

Every now and then I've informed here of the progress on this neighborhood, but it's probably been so long that nobody remember anything anymore, so I'll explain better now.

What I've already done:

- I installed Veronaville EMPTY (without sim) from Jawusa as a subhood.

- I installed ALL the Capps, Monty and Summerdream-Gossamer ancestors (ALL, even the spouses' families) obviously all clean copies that were extracted from the clean neighborhoods of MeetMe by a user on MTS. And of the current premades I only installed the generation up to Consort's and Patrizio's childrends because... well, it's an early neighborhood, other generations doesn't exist yet.

- I put the right information on all the sims following the wiki (Aspiration, zodiac sign, interests, personality, DNA and recessive DNA, ALTHOUGH unfortunately the work became even longer because I also had to adjust certain info on the Early PV sims and Early ST because I think Gutosimmer forgot to fix some sims since they had totally random personalities (and I doubt they (I don't know their pronouns) followed the logic of the personality linked to the zodiac signs because it didn't coincide). And for some VV sims that had no personality because they are corrupt in the vanilla game (e.g. Cordelia and Caliban) I had to use my own headcanons.

- I created the family trees.

- I've moved the premades that need to be playable to their respective lots, and I've done a makeover on some lots even though I need to continue them.

- I have already decorated the neighborhood but I think I will replace all the hood decos with the decoration I did in Alt Veronaville.

- I did a makeover to all the sims (ancestors included)

- I wrote descriptions of each family and created the story of the neighborhood with preview Images and everything.

- Now I just have to finish furnishing the lots, create the relationships between the various Sims (ancestors included) and therefore all the rivalries, friendships, crush etches that are needed, create memories and finally kill all the ancestors with their respective types of death. Then everything will finally be ready.

Alt Uberhood: Remember when I said that I left the new uberhood pending because I was distracted by other saves? Well, this is one of those. The ALT Uberhood is made up of the four "ALTternative neighborhoods by Dreadpirate (Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville, and Riverblossom Hills).

At first I just wanted to try Lazy Duchess's "Story Progression" mod with this uberhood, but while I was decorating the neighborhoods and doing sim makeovers I fell in love with this save and decided to play it without the mod (I want to have complete control of It, I will install the SP only when all the premades have children, because I'm curious to see what will happen).

To this neighborhood I added Katatty's Downtown, Katatty's all 3 universities (SSU, LFT & ALT) and as vacation places I will use PlumbTales's makeovers! I like the idea of having an uberhood with only fanmade makeovers without having to worry about having to makeover everything myself.
