Something SO cunty about the stage productions of lm where the barricade is on the revolve and turn it 180⁰ to reveal Enjolras hanging upside down. 10/10 would recommend to a friend
Like I know it's devastating but it serves SO HARD

new dad Bakugou who’s going back to work full time almost a full year after his daughter his born and he now has to grapple with the fact that….goddamn, he’s spoiled the shit outta her.
well, he doesn’t think it was spoiling her. in actuality, he just created a routine with her, gave her every bit of his attention, held her when she cried, scolded her (yes just at eight months) whenever she’d babble for more puffs even though she’s had enough already. it wasn’t spoiling, it wasn’t. he vowed to never be that dad, to raise a snot nosed brat, one similar to himself.
but here he is, on a Tuesday morning three weeks after her first birthday. he’s standing halfway between the front door and the living room in full uniform, with his still sleepy baby and her even sleepier mama. she’s gripping his neck like he promised to abandon her, wailing and crying so loud and dramatically, that you can’t help but chuckle at her antics and how he wavers ever so slightly.
“You promised you’d go back to work, you scold him gently, rubbing at your daughters quivering back when she whines again the moment he acts like he’s gonna pull her off. Bakugou frowns at you, and you shrug, smoothing her unruly blond curls away from her sticky forehead.
“But you guys need me.” He pouts, eyebrows downturned as he pulls her away enough to wipe at her wet face. she blubbers again, whimpering out a small dadaaaa noooo, that absolutely breaks his heart.
“And so does the world.” You smile at him, gently pulling your daughter away from the matching glassy red eyes who watch her go. “We’ll be fine, my love. Promise.”
Bakugou looks unconvinced, especially since your daughter reaches for him with another cry of his name. you don’t say anything when he sniffles discreetly, quickly reaching down to the coffee table to snatch up his utility belt that he dropped when she waddled out of her room in tears. he snaps it on wordlessly, and you go to turn to the kitchen when he wraps you both up in his arms.
“Love you,” he whispers against your forehead before pecking it, leaning down to kiss your lips next, and then your daughter’s fat little cheeks. He whispers another love you to her, and wipes away at her rosy cheeks when she pouts at him.
“Rub you.” your daughter pouts, the both of you freezing in shock.
“Oh my god,” you whisper, grinning. “She said I love you back!” Bakugou matches your grin, laughing under his breath as he presses another torrent of kisses all of her face. for the first time since she’s opened her eyes today, she laughs, loud and joyous and familiar. he thinks that maybe going back in today won’t be so bad after all. not if this is what he’ll be coming home to.

Winged heart au
Wally, open his front door, sees a very out of it Nightwing on his floor: finally decided to sleep like us common folks?
Dick, giggling: no, just high? I think? Are you real? Am I real? Are anyone of us real?
Wally:
Wally: oh no, not an existential crisis on my floor, that's for me to do wondering if I made the right decision and stuff. Why are you here anyways, ain't you heroes have places to go?
Dick: feel safe here, and a pretty man live here, he so pretty like, really pretty,,,, pretty.
Wally, senses DC bs they put Dick through: okay, let's uh, let's get you to bed so whatever you're on can get through your system... God, leave a family of fast healers now babysitting the to be determined human heros,,,, *picks up Dick far to easily* oh that's not good—
Next day
Dick, wakes up worried, frantic, not in his bed:
Wally, sleeping in the chair beside his bed unfortunately uncomfortable:
Dick, noticed everything still on him, nothing different, tries to leave but boy failed:
Wally, looking at Dick on the floor: finally awake Nightwing and was going to leave after I put your high ass to bed.
Dick: sorry...
Wally: save it, you want breakfast? The answer is yes, you're way too light.
Dick: uh thanks... Did we do anything?
Wally: I picked you off my floor, you passed out on the way to my bed, I tucked you in and watched you so you didn't die. Your family broke my other window, again, and my vase my mother picked out, and now you are awake. French toast or waffles?
Dick, shocked he didn't has his autonomy taken from him: um waffles.
Wally: cool, uh you can use my shower if you like, and I have these *sunglasses* Robin says the adhesive for your mask can get irritating soooo yeah, I'll make those waffles. *Leaves*
Dick:
Dick: I'm going to marry him.
Barbara, who bugged Dick so she can keep him safe: dude, the bar is in HELL.
Dick: don't care I'm wifeing him up.

hi sorry that ask about König having a tight knit friend group was adorable and now I need to inject it with angst, imagine him being the last one of the group to be unmarried/single. his friends kids even ask if uncle Noni (they couldn't pronounce König when they were babies and now it's stuck) is ever gonna have kids :c
The thought of him just feeling like an eternal third wheel..? Further confirmation of what he expects: that something must be terribly wrong with him for him to be so alone when everyone around him just… isn’t. He glosses over the facts that his social media accounts are mainly empty (when he has them active at all), that in social gatherings he makes no attempt to approach a new face, that he’s never been one to participate in dating apps or meet-ups for blind dates. It’s not him: it’s either everyone else or the god he prayed to as a boy has turned their back on him entirely.
Imagine if the friends he has have all met their partners and spouses by chance or have been highschool sweethearts, too… He feels like some higher power has deemed him unworthy of having some perfect person delivered to him in a twist of fate like they have, and it’s something that he ruminates on often.
The bitterness eats away at him a lot, but he wants to be happy for the people he cares about. Likes thinking that he’s somehow better than other men, because he doesn’t make an attempt to flirt with his pal’s wife (even if he’s probably thought of her in ways he shouldn’t and often, too). They do their best to tone down the PDA around him, but even the subtle glances, whispers behind palms, and brushes of their hands leave König feeling worse each time he’s around them. His friend gets to go home and make love to the woman he loves: König gets his lonely hand, a porn video, and a horrible envy burning in his gut for another night.
It lessens a bit when they have children. König plays the role of a good ‘uncle’: carries the kid(s) on his shoulders when they want to feel real tall, lets them chase him with sticks or their toy trucks, pretends to be a big hungry wolf when they wanna play tag — he’s good with children! He likes spending time with them, and it’s a good distraction from the lovestruck stares their parents are giving to each other.
But when they start asking Noni why he doesn’t have a girlfriend or children of his own, he has to bite his tongue and tell them some sappy shit he doesn’t even truly believe: that he’s waiting for the right girl to come along to marry, that he wants to spend time with them before they’re older and forget all about him.
The wife is sympathetic and shushes them, telling them it’s rude to ask questions like that. König tries his best to brush it off when she pats his shoulder and gives him an apologetic pout.
Not that his heart is in a flurry because she defended him from children of all things, not at all. As good of a man he knows his friend to be, König is certain he could be even better to her and her kid(s).

i am sooo excited for the new tales of the tmnt show because all four of the boys are voiced by actual teenagers!! sometimes it’s hard for me to remember that the turtles in other versions are just kids because they’ve always been voiced by adults. but since we’re gonna be hearing the most voice-cracking, embarrassing little teenage voices coming out of their mouths, it’ll be so great to remember these are literal BABIES witnessing the Horrors. and i can’t wait.
