I’ve always been a fan of RZK, and let’s be honest, Richard Kruspe has that whole intense, brooding vibe going on that’s impossible to resist and his guitar skills are INSANE, BUT then there’s Paul Landers… and wow, he’s a whole different level of attractive. I meaaaaann… He’s looking so hot, I can’t even handle it sometimes. I’m listening, sir—I’m eating it, whatever you’re serving! I’m just HERE for IT. His energy, that playful smirk, the way he carries himself, it’s just... everything. He’s got this effortless charisma that draws you in, and you can’t help but stare. Every time I see him, it's like, okay, Paul, you’ve got my full attention!

Richard seems to love water. Lots of pictures of him by the sea or taking his kids to the sea, on a boat. He even mentioned moving to Cape Town for his golden years. Wouldn't be surprised if he had a beach or a lake house.

Paul as well, hardcore city boy like Richard, but has a deep love for Hiddensee.

Ollie also seems to spend his off time surrounded by palm trees.

And we all know Till's love for water, fishing, swimming and nature in general.

The love for water in this band is quite clear 💙

Richard's plans for Capetown were mentioned by him in this interview back in 2018 - he really seems to enjoy this location:

"I would most like to live in Cape Town. You have the mountains on one side and two oceans on the other. The people are open and friendly and there is a very beautiful light that is good for my mind."

And overall he apparently enjoys being near the water via boat or at the beach or generally by the sea. Like this tour in Oostende or back in 1998 at Venice Beach for 'official' pictures:

as well as for vacation, with his kids, with fans (in Mexico back in 2022) - there are a lot of beach/sea pictures of him, so i'll limit it to a few:

Till also has quite a deep connection to water, be it for fishing (like with his daughter last year), exploring (with Joey Kelly for their 'Yukon' book) or with Dr. Simi (for I guess some relaxation in Mexico):

Ollie spent some time in Capetown himself earlier this year and picked up a new surf board:

And Paul's love Hiddensee is quietly deep rooted since most likely his Feeling B-days, since this island was like a little place of freedom for the GDR punk rock scene, plus his band colleague from Feeling B, Aljoscha Rompe, is buried there. I'm not 100% sure, but I always assumed that this footage was filmed there:

And from what I've seen, Schneider also likes to spend time at lakes ☕...👀

It's quite interesting that many members of a band so surrounded by fire are so drawn to water. In this interview, Richard talked about the balance between water and fire (topic was peculiar enough the water damage in his house he had in 2017):

"[...] so that everything should be in balance—if you have fire on one side, you must have water on the other side to somehow restore the equilibrium."

So in that sense, 'Mein Land' had a really fitting theme, not just lyric-wise 😊🌊

No-name

Hoaxe had no name.

He also had no concept of the sort, so he didn't mind much.

“Names” were pictures in charcoal to tell him about other things. Plenty of things had that sort of name. 

He didn't, though. He had no need of one.

He hadn’t considered that these other bugs he'd found might try to give him one, though, and try they did. Whatever they'd decided on wasn't a name he could use, though – it was some strange jumble of sounds instead.

Not that it mattered, it was for their use, not his. 

…He assumed it was a name, at least. They seemed pleased when he responded to it, at any rate, and only used it when they wanted his attention. 

He thought, though he wasn't sure, that they might have other names for him, but he could never quite tell.

Most of them made do with a wave anyways.

He had never spoken his sound-name before. 

This was proving to be an oversight, a mistake, and a considerable inconvenience, because there were four bugs staring at him in bewilderment, and he had a distinct hunch that an introduction might help.

Unfortunately, the sound-chains used by the others were not something he knew how to use, and while pictures usually got the point across for other things, they didn't exactly work here. 

The bugs didn't smell like these lands, either – they smelled strange, walked strange, looked strange, and had strange noise-jumbles and sound-names that were a different sort of weird from the bugs he already knew. The feeling was probably mutual, if he was being realistic. Still annoying to deal with. He rolled his eyes at their wibbly nonsense-sounds and turned towards the village. Maybe the other sound-namers could understand them. 

As he began to walk, the group of four hesitated, looking between each other again. He waved his hand impatiently, hoping “follow” was at least a marginally universal gesture.

Close enough. They came with. 

A growl rumbled out from the darkness, and his hand shot to his sling. The group of four immediately started making more sound, the fools–

Oh. They'd never met the dark-bugs before, had they?

…Did he have to do everything here?

okay so Bugaria is radioactive

Let me explain.

Crystals are wild. They do all sorts of stuff, like powering things and giving bugs magic powers if they're exposed. And what is an excellent source of power and frequently gives superpowers in stories? Radiation.

The Mother Crystal, as said in the lore book of the same name, has an aura that "protects Bugaria from the outside world's great perils". Presumably, this line is referring to the Dead Landers, which might be less resistant to radiation than the inhabiting bugs. Either way, Bugaria's radioactive. (This could also be in reference to the eternal spring, but I don't like the eternal spring so I'm ignoring it for now.)

But there's more. In the lore book "Bugarian Honey", it says that the honey likely behaves the way it does (turning into monsters is also a thing radiation does in fiction) due to crystal fragments in the plants. These fragments would pass from the plants to the honey to, based on all the places honey drops are found, the majority of the citizens. Even those that don't eat honey would still be eating the plants, or the animals that eat plants. Anyone who eats enough Bugarian food is radioactive.

It's okay though! Sorta. Various studies have shown that insects are more resistant to radiation than mammals, and some plants and fungi are radioresistant as well. So our heroes and the world they live in are probably safe. They've lasted this long!

Probably not great for tourism though.

Final note: most crystals glow blue. So does radiation (sometimes).

I got it cheaper than the guy originally wanted.

And I have seen them go for more in other countries (without shipping to Norway). This was sold by some local dude 30 minutes away from me by car...WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT!?!? (If you don't know..I don't live in a big city. I live in hillbilly..christian sheit hole. So just to find something like this for sale over here is mind blowing!)

I think these rubber bois looks good with me! 💋

1000 copies..almost 15 years old and still pretty much unopened! (And some of those 1000 pieces are most likely destroyed by now by pets..flooding..fire..accidents..you name it! So you can asure that less than 1000 pieces has survived today. And I got one of them!! I want to vomit out of sheer happiness! 😍

And yes. It's prettier in person! (Much bigger than you expect..but that might be a good thing? 😘 (nah I won't open it!)
