I honestly and truly believe all good AUs should be a little “”””ooc”””” in the sense that good characterisation involves understanding that changes a characters backstory and circumstances will have an effect on how they respond to the world around them
Good characterisation isn’t about creating a perfect 1:1 canon replica it’s about understanding why a character is different in your work and about grounding the changes you do deliberately choose to make in canon character traits

Five Potential Replacements For Ben Foster At Wrexham
Earlier today Wrexham AFC announced the retirement of goalkeeper Ben Foster…
The ex-England international had only came out of retirement in March, but has now supposedly hung up his gloves for good.

something about how the disability rights movement got watered down, in people's eyes, from "we demand that buildings are built to physically accommodate us, eg with ramps" to "there's nothing we can do about the world around us, but it would be nice if people were more accepting of seeing people stim"

(good future) Finding Home Pride edition <3
Trans Leo pride is something I see a lot, but personally, FH Leo wouldn't celebrate his gender. He grew up around Gali, who went through a lot of gender struggles, especially in his younger years, and with the brothers being so accepting, it's just another part of his life
But his lack of romantic attraction? That's something that stands out to him. He sees the brothers with their own attractions and crushes and such and realizes he stands out. He's different. But that's okay because he's still him and he's still valid
anyways~ it's pride month, which means i get to be even more annoying about aro pride ^-^

Five Potential Landing Spots for Luke Armstrong - Opinion
Although still contracted to Harrogate Town until the summer of 2025, it is becoming increasingly likely that Luke Armstrong will be departing the EnviroVent Stadium this summer.
Armstrong was left out of the squad for Harrogate’s season opener against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, however it had been announced prior to the match that this was done under his own accord.
The news came as…

anyway while i'm thinking about it i will never understand people who are like "why would you ever watch a movie/read a book/play the same game/etc. more than one when there are always new media to experience, it's just a waste of time" because like. how else are you supposed to fully appreciate the themes and narratives, the artistic choices made, your personal feelings and interpretations and the creator's intentions, the nuances of the story and the characters? every time i revisit a story i already know, i realize there's something i missed last time. i always discover there's more to learn if i'm willing to keep looking for it. there's nothing more exciting to me than searching the same cave for more hidden treasure.
