January Mid-Month Update ✨

Hi all! It's Claire here with a new kind of post – a mid-month announcement of how work is going for GB. These small posts are meant to combine the typical daily updates into one summary, without a focus on word count. Here we go!

So far this month, GB has been diligently working on Step 2 Moments. The third Step 2 Moment ("Assistance") is about halfway wrapped up and the fourth Step 2 Moment ("Homecoming") has been drafted. Programming progress has mainly focused on bug fixes.

Something super exciting – Shawna has begun programming this month's Patreon beta! No images or audio have been added yet, but the process is well underway.

We also announced the GB Patch Winter 2025 Contest! This is the first in hopefully a series of contests, and we're super excited to see what y'all come up with.

Let's hear it for our champion! 🗣️ Hard at work as always. 💕

Our Life: Ages

Well, as far as I can tell, this is accurate. So, here y'all go I guess!

The colours coincide with the games btw, and their respective Steps from - 1 to 4. BlueGreen for OLBA, GoldOrange for OLNF.

It doesn't have all the ages, but it has most of the relevant ones presently. I'll probably make another one later with the NF parents and extras too, but I just wanted this one for easy reference atm.

Something that I appreciate about the Our Life games is how they deal with gender, regarding the MC that is.

Granted, the OLNF pronouns system is legit the best pronouns system for Trans people, you can even add neopronouns and that is very cool.

But I do love that in OLBA you can be a trans man and still present feminine if you so do wish, I love that you can be non binary and have top surgery without having to go on hrt, I love you can straight up choose to not medically transition.

Genuinely is the type of gender fuckery that I live for, these games are so trans friendly when it comes to their customization of trans MCs and I adore that

Still thinking about Love at The Milky Way Diner. I fully think it will eventually be one of my peak comfort games along with Our Life. The demo was so cute, and fueled my need for cozy scifi.

I'm a bit calmer now, but I finally finished the demo!! YAYYY!! IT WAS REALLY ADORABLE I'M GONNA CRY TTT this fanart was based on one of the moments in the game called "magic"

I was also REALLY SUPRISED that Everett was there as well and not just Pran??? Anyway I cannot wait for the final release!! <3 <3
