#otp: questionable judgment

With hindsight, I probably should have realized I was polyamorous/ambiamorous sooner than I did. (And to be clear, I realized it pretty young. I just didn't have the terminology for it.)
Ignoring the fact that five-year-old me used to watch Signing In The Rain! on a loop and was already making up stories about Don, Cosmo, and Kathy all living together in Don's big house and *gasp* holding hands (maybe kissing), I was never any good at shipwars.
Like someone would ask me, "What's your OTP?" and I'd be like, "Well, I guess I like X/Y, but also Y/Z is good too..."
And they'd be like, "No. I mean your one TRUE pairing," and I'd just blink at them like, I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.
I'm sure they thought I was trying to stir shit or being deliberately annoying, but I just... couldn't wrap my head around it. Why did I need to pick one thing? There were multiple options with different things that made them appealing. That's like going to an all-you-can-eat buffet and just drinking water. Which is fine! If water is all you want, great. But you don't get to go to an all-you-can-eat buffet and judge people for eating different foods...
And when I eventually found out multi-shipping was a thing, I was like, "oh neat, that's what I do!" and while there was a definite feeling of having found my people, it was weird having the moral judgment from other people who seemed to think multi-shipping was a symptom of a greater moral character flaw. Like my inability to settle on just one thing meant I was more likely to cheat irl.
This wasn't helped by the fact that I... kinda already didn't care about monogamy? Not the way my friends did. I didn't mind that my then-boyfriend liked Sarah, too. What I minded was that he went behind my back and kissed her when he'd told me I couldn't kiss anyone else.
It was the betrayal of the agreement that hurt. Because we'd agreed. He'd asked me to be exclusive with him, and I did. And then he... didn't. And my friends couldn't grasp that.
It was all, "How could he kiss someone else?!" and my chief complaint was, "Why didn't he tell me first?!"
Anyway, if I could go back in time, I'd tell teenage me, you're not weird and amoral, you're just queer, polyamorous, and have ADHD, lmao.

[StarWars][BobaDin][LukeDin]
Sons (of BobaDin & LukeDin)
I'm in the middle of the Inktober challenge (posting on my IG story if you're interested). Sorry for the wait for my new artwork if anyone's been waiting...🫣
Anyway, inspired by my fellow artist, I decided to draw the offspring of Boba/Din and Luke/Din. I'm having a hard time now determining which pair is my OTP, so I decided they're both my OTP and drew the sons of both pairs in the same piece.
These two baby boys can exist in the same universe or not, depending on what plot you prefer. However, I have a somewhat unethical feeling that these two could make a good couple if they're not half-brothers... (Yeah, I know in some stories, they can be a couple if you don't mind the ethical issues).
I borrowed the clothing from kid Boba and Padawan but blended in "red," which comes from the traditional colors of Din's birth country, Aq Vetina.
The son of BobaDin
has Boba & Din's curls, Boba's eyebrows & lips (and probably the height, though it's hard to tell at his age), and Din's eyes & nose. He always carries a vibro-knife with him, began training at a very young age, and wants to be a great warrior like his fathers. He’s kind of grumpy but has a soft heart and is very protective of Din (who gave birth to him) and his green brother. He often looks reluctant to play with Grogu because he wants to spend most of his time training, but Grogu knows, just like everybody else, that he loves playing with his brother and cares deeply for his family!
The son of LukeDin
also has curls from Din (yes, because I love curls! Din is also the one who gave birth to him, as you all know I'm a huge sucker for bottom Din). He has Luke's hair color, eyes, nose, chin, and Force abilities, as well as Din's eyebrows, eye color, lips, and probably height. He has a playful mind, so he has no problem playing and causing mayhem together with Grogu. He has a strong Force connection like Luke, but unlike Grogu, who is prone to becoming a Mandalorian, he wants to be a Jedi under Luke's training. Although he appears confident and relaxed, he’s quite insecure about his abilities due to having two famous dads, he faces a lot of pressure others can't understand.
About how they refer to their fathers
Since Boba and Din are both Mandalorians, it can be confusing for calling them both "Buir." In my research, "Papa" is a term of endearment for "father" in Spanish and since Pedro is a Latino, so...
It's relatively easy for LukeDin's son to call his fathers: Din is "Buir," and Luke is "Dad." "Dad" has a more casual vibe, which I think suits his personality.
Okay, that's it! Hope you enjoy my boys, and sorry for babbling again. The last thing is that I have another question for you:
Yeah, I know there’s a BIG ISSUE in there, which is why I’m asking. I’m curious about what people think about such a thing, feel free to discuss with me, no judgment here no matter what your answer is!

I was inspired by this OTP Question from @kyra75 : How would they react to someone flirting with them? Flirting with their significant other. Kyra asked for all four of my pairings, and I decided I'd write a little fic for each one. Tobias x Casey's can be found here. If inspiration hits, I'll write one for Trystan x Carolina (CoP) and Eli x Zoe (WTD), too. Thanks so much for the inspiration, Kyra!
Book: Open Heart (Book 3 Timeline) Pairing: Ethan Ramsey x Kaycee MacClennan (F!MC) Rating: Teen Words: 2,005 Summary: Ethan and Kaycee are on their way to the first conference they're attending together since making their relationship public. But it seems that everyone didn't receive the memo. Fortunately, they don't get jealous.
A/N: Participating in @choicesprompts Flufftober #7 - Acceptance.
The sun was just starting to peek through the Boston sky when Ethan and Kaycee emerged from the lobby of their apartment building, causing the befuddled doorman to do a double-take as Ethan nodded his way. Seeing him up at this ungodly hour (for a morning jog... of all things) was commonplace, but a Kaycee spotting this early in the day was almost unheard of. Still, she was all but glowing as she hopped into their waiting cab.
Once nestled in the back seat, she leaned over and planted a kiss on her boyfriend’s cheek. “Finally! We're attending a conference where we don’t have to pretend we're not together anymore!"
Ethan smiled, but there was a hint of judgment in it. “Why is that so important? It’s not as if we intend to put on a soft porn performance in the reception area?”
“Which is really a pity,” Kaycee laughed. “I’m sure some of the old fuddy-duddies in attendance could use a pointer or two. It would be a public service, really."
This time, he smiled genuinely, pulling her under his arm with a chuckle. “I don’t know what I’m going to do with you.”
“Oh, I have some ideas,” she teased. “But seriously! Aren't you excited? We can hold hands, acknowledge each other, and we don’t have to pretend we’re unbothered when others flirt with us.”
“Well, that was never an issue," Ethan insisted. "I don’t get jealous. Jealousy is for people with trust issues, and I trust you.”
Kaycee raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a smile. “And you should trust me, but, babe, you do get jealous sometimes."
“No," he insisted. " I don’t."
“All right,” she smiled with amusement. She didn’t push further, but in her mind, it was game on.
Santa Monica was beautiful at this time of year, and their resort was already bustling when they arrived, filled with tourists and conventioneers alike. Doctors from all over America were milling about, networking over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. It was an atmosphere that Kaycee thrived in, but Ethan did his very best to avoid. But one thing was certain: the atmosphere was ripe for flirtation, and Kaycee was already thinking of the long game.
She was the first to experience it, only moments after they arrived. As they headed toward the registration table, a tall, handsome surgeon from New York spotted Kaycee and all but jogged over to greet her. His hazel eyes were alight as he neared her. “Dr. MacClennan, correct?” he grinned with a bit too much confident charm. “We met at the cardiothoracic symposium in Chicago last year, and I’ve been looking forward to running into you again ever since.”
Kaycee politely returned his smile but stepped closer to Ethan, trying to give the suave surgeon an easy way out.
“That’s so kind of you to say,” she replied. “And you are?”
“Dr. Barrington from NYU-Langone,” he smiled, so taken in with Kaycee he never even saw Ethan standing by her side. “I was wondering if you’re free tonight. My hospital is hosting a private dinner, and most of the convention’s keynote speakers will be there. I’d love for you to join me if you can.”
Kaycee opened her mouth to reply, but before she could get a word out, Ethan spoke calm, but direct. “We have plans,” was all he said, but Kaycee swore his tone brought the temperature in the crowded room down ten degrees.
Suddenly aware of Ethan, the surgeon blinked. “Oh. Well, I see.” He turned to Kaycee, undeterred; there may have even been a wink. “Well, next time?”
Ethan cursed under his breath as Dr. Barrington walked away, and Kaycee stifled a laugh. “But you don’t get jealous, right, hon?”
“I’m not jealous,” he shot back. “I was just doing my part to save you from an extremely boring dinner when you have much better plans with me.”
“Oh, that's what that was,” she grinned, straightening the collar of Ethan’s linen shirt. “And what do those plans involve?”
He dropped his lips to her ear, whispering in a way that made Kaycee forget all about this little game. “It involves you, me, a bottle of champagne, our bed, and very little clothing.”
“You’re right,” she giggled, looping her arm in his. “Your plans sound much more appealing.”
Throughout the conference, there were many more flirtatious encounters, each more entertaining than the last. At one of the panel sessions, a beautiful conference organizer set her sights on Ethan. A statuesque woman with long, dark hair and dazzling blue eyes moved to Ethan’s side. The compliments she bestowed on him were flowing faster than the wine, and she leaned in just a little too close.
“Dr. Ramsey,” she beamed. “I’m Dr. Monica Rivera. I’ve been dying to meet you in person.”
“Have you,” he replied. “Then I hope you won’t be disappointed.”
“Doubtful,” she simpered, eyeing him from head to toe. “I’ve always found your research to be so inspiring,” she said, brushing her hand against his arm. “I’d love to discuss some thoughts I have with you. Perhaps over a drink later?”
Ethan, who was entirely focused on his presentation, didn’t have the time for this. “I don’t drink,” he stated flatly.
Dr. Rivera’s face faltered, but she recovered quickly. “Well, then, over coffee?”
Ethan glanced at her, annoyance etched on his face. “I don’t drink coffee either.”
Kaycee, who had been observing the exchange from a few feet away, bit back a laugh as the woman walked away, clearly confused and discouraged. Ethan, focused as ever, was already looking over his notes when Kaycee appeared at his side.
“You don’t drink alcohol or coffee?” She laughed. “Are you about to tell me you aren't really a doctor? You don't like opera? Because that’s all that’s left of your identity, sir!”
He turned to her with a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Were you jealous, my dear?”
“What?" She laughed. "Not at all. Entertained? Yes. Amused? Without question. But jealous, nah. She’s got nothing on me.”
Ethan leaned over, the scent of Kaycee’s perfume intoxicating as he surreptitiously placed a kiss on her cheek. “Now, that’s the truth.”
As dusk began to fall, they met up at a cocktail hour by the pool. They had spent the majority of the day attending separate workshops, and Kaycee was looking forward to catching up with Ethan. But before they could enjoy a drink together, another attendee, this time a young doctor from Johns Hopkins, slid up next to her.
“You must be Kaycee MacClennan,” he said, flashing a bright smile. “You’re even more beautiful than I heard.”
Kaycee raised an eyebrow. “It's Doctor Kaycee MacClennan,” she retorted. “And, really? That’s what you heard? We’re at a medical conference with our peers, and that’s what you’ve heard about me?”
“Well, among other things,” he replied smoothly, his eyes lingering on her. “I also hear you’ve been doing some groundbreaking work at Edenbrook. Perhaps you could fill me in over dinner. What do you say?”
Kaycee crossed her arms, amazed the man couldn’t see how annoyed she was. “Well,” she began when she felt a strong arm encircle her waist.
“We’re not available for dinner,” Ethan declared, his steel blue eyes daring the charlatan to say another word.
The young doctor blinked, clearly thrown. “Oh, uh, I didn’t realize—”
“Well, now you do,” Ethan said dismissively as the doctor scurried away.
Kaycee couldn’t help but chuckle as they walked away. “Thanks for the save, babe. But I had it under control.”
“Of that, I have no doubt,” Ethan replied.
“But you had to step in,” she grinned. “Because you might have been a little jealous?”
Ethan’s eyes narrowed. “He was wasting your time, and I wanted to be with you."
“Right,” she teased, nudging him playfully. “Jealousy had nothing to do with it.”
The day continued the same way, with Ethan maintaining a stoic front as others flirted relentlessly with Kaycee, and she quietly relished watching him jump in every single time. She couldn’t wait to tease him about it later, but that would have to wait until after the final reception – where everything was about to change.
Dr. Allison Porter was the star of the conference, the main keynote speaker, and a world-renowned cardiologist with a smile that could light up a room. She was holding court tonight, and everyone wanted her attention, but she was only interested in one doctor from Boston. When she spotted him alone at the bar, she knew it was time to make her move.
“Dr. Ramsey, I presume,” she grinned, extending a well-manicured hand as she approached.
“Dr. Porter,” he nodded politely while shaking her hand. “It’s lovely to make your acquaintance.”
“Likewise, I’m sure. And please, call me Allison." Her eyes twinkled as she assessed Ethan, though he didn't seem to notice. “I’ve been watching you from afar for some time now. The work you’ve done at Edenbrook is truly awe-inspiring.”
“Well,” Ethan laughed softly. “I’m very proud of the work we've achieved, but awe-inspiring may be a bit of hyperbole.”
“Don’t underestimate yourself, Dr. Ramsey. You should hear how others speak of you at the conference.”
“Really?” he smirked, raising his glass of Scotch to his lips. “I’m usually better off not knowing what my colleagues are saying about me when I’m not in earshot.”
Allison tossed her head back, laughing much too enthusiastically, and that caught Kaycee’s attention from across the room. Amused, she grabbed a flute of champagne off a passing waiter’s tray and shifted positions so she could get a better view of the show taking place. She wondered how long it would take for Ethan to become flustered or have that familiar scowl take over his face. But as she continued to watch, it never occurred. Instead, he seemed taken in by the conversation, which was fine... until Dr. Porter placed her hand on Ethan’s arm.
“Excuse me,” Kaycee said with a plastered smile as she turned on her heel and made her way across the crowded room. Allison’s voice was lithe, almost sultry, as Kaycee approached from behind.
“Ethan, I think you and I should definitely...collaborate... sometime. I have no doubt that we could...accomplish great things together.”
“Hey, sweetheart,” Kaycee announced as she took her place at Ethan's side. “I’ve been looking for you! I should have known to check the bar first!”
“Yes,” he replied. “I’m surprised that wasn’t your first thought. Kaycee, this is Dr. Allison Porter, Dr. Porter, my teammate and partner, Dr. Kaycee MacClennan.”
“Oh,” Dr. Porter said, attempting to hide her surprise. “It’s lovely to meet you. I’ve read your work as well, Dr. MacClennan... didn’t realize that you two were...”
“Yes, we are,” Kaycee beamed confidently. “Very happily so.”
Allison’s eyes narrowed slightly before she took her leave, and Kaycee turned to Ethan with a sarcastic smirk. “Collaboration, huh?” She said, taking a sip of Ethan’s drink. “Collaboration, my ass. She wanted... something else.”
Ethan cleared his throat, obviously amused. “Are we... what’s the word... jealous, Dr. MacClennan?”
“What? Me?” Kaycee replied. “Absolutely not! I don’t get jealous. I trust you!”
“OK,” Ethan smiled softly. “Whatever you say.” He moved in closer. “Why don’t we get some fresh air? I'd like to get away from all these people lusting after us.”
"Hmm. We do have that effect on people, don't we?" She smiled. "But you can be honest. You just want to get me alone. Don't you?"
"Always," he growled in her ear.
They left and walked along the beach hand-in-hand, their footsteps mingling with the sound of waves crashing against the shore. As they recounted the day’s events, Kaycee nudged Ethan with her shoulder.
“Admit it,” she said, smiling. “You got jealous. More than once."
He glanced at her, his face still stoic but his eyes warm. “Jealousy is beneath me. But you, you may have turned a slight shade of green when you saw Dr. Porter speaking to me. But don't worry, I think it’s kind of cute.”
"What! I was not jealous!" Kaycee insisted, contemplating kicking sand at him if it wouldn't have made her look like a child. "I was not jealous at all!"
Ethan gave her a long look, and finally, a ghost of a smile tugged at the corner of Kaycee's mouth. “All right. Maybe... a little," she grinned. "But admit it, you got a little jealous today, too."
"Fine," he surrendered. "I did."
Kaycee grinned, slipping her hand into his. “Thought so.”
Kaycee shook her head as they continued to walk. "What is it about these things? The minute the lectures are over, it's like someone pumps an aphrodisiac into the air."
Ethan laughed but agreed with her assessment. "I never understood it," he said. "These are professional events. People should act... professionally. I would never lower myself to behaving that way."
Kaycee's eyes flicked to his, the moonlight showing the shadows of her smile. "Seriously? Do you remember Miami? I was there, you know."
"That's different," he insisted. "That was... you."
"Mmm-hmm. But you had been with me in Boston plenty of times, but it took Miami for you to finally come to - then quickly take loss of - your senses."
Ethan stopped in his tracks, his hands finding Kaycee's waist and pulling her near. He kissed her so passionately, so intensely, that she forgot what she was saying - which may have been the very point. He pulled away with a playful grin.
"Enough of this. What do you say we head back to our room and remind ourselves why no one else here stood a chance?"
"Sounds good to me," she said, jumping into his arms. "And Ethan?"
"Yes?"
"I really wasn't jealous."
"All right, Kaycee," he winked. "Whatever you say."

Yandere snsd otp 9 please there obsessed with there adopted little brother reader
MY STEPSISTER IS OBSESSED WITH ME
Yandere SNSD OT9 X Male Reader
The plane touched down in Incheon, a cold wave of dread washing over me. My parents, the people I trusted most, had ripped the rug from under my feet. They'd sold me, their own son, to a rich family in Korea. Betrayal gnawed at me, a bitter pill I couldn't swallow.
A man in a chauffeur's uniform held a placard with my new name, a Korean name I didn't recognize. He led me to a sleek black car, and the entire ride was a blur of towering skyscrapers and neon signs spewing unfamiliar words. Finally, the car pulled up to a colossal mansion that looked more like a palace.
My jaw dropped as I stepped out. A maid bowed, ushering me inside. There, I found them. Nine girls, impossibly beautiful, clad in luxurious clothes, faces a mix of curiosity and disdain.
"This is our new… brother," the one with the fiercest eyes announced, her voice dripping with ice. Jessica, they'd introduced her later, with a coldness in her eyes that sent shivers down my spine.
"Yoona," a girl with doe-like eyes scolded softly. "Be nice." Sooyoung, her name tag read. The only one who seemed to show a shred of genuine warmth.
The first few weeks were a blur of isolation and silent judgment. I became a ghost, flitting through the edges of their seemingly perfect lives, cleaning their mess, fetching things, and basically acting like their servant. They treated me with indifference, their conversations laced with inside jokes and references I didn't understand.
One rainy night, as I drove them back from a late-night practice, a reckless driver ran a red light. The car swerved, tires screeching. The world became a chaotic blur before everything went dark.
I woke up in a hospital bed, my body a map of aches and pains. But the pain was a mere whisper compared to the sight that greeted me. Nine worried faces surrounded my bed, concern etching lines on their flawless faces.
"Y/n! You're awake!" the one with the soft voice, Yoona, cried, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
Tiffany, a girl with bright eyes and a seemingly warm smile, held my hand tightly. "You scared the living shit out of us. Don't you ever do that again."
The others, the girls who used to ignore me, surrounded me with a flurry of questions and frantic care. It was overwhelming, this sudden shift in their behavior. Yet, a part of me felt...warm. A flicker of hope ignited in my chest.
Days turned into weeks, and my stay at the hospital became an unexpected haven. They showered me with affection, bringing me my favorite takeout, singing me silly songs in butchered Korean to cheer me up, and even reading me Korean bedtime stories – their attempts hilariously endearing.
As I recovered, I learned more about them, about SNSD, their dream, their struggles. Their ambition, once cold and distant, became something I admired. I found myself drawn to their passion, their love for music, and most unsettlingly, to them.
One afternoon, while they were recording, I sat in their practice room, captivated by the raw emotions they poured into their song. As the last note faded, a heavy silence descended. Then, Yoona spoke, her voice trembling.
"Y/n, W-we…" she began, then stopped, tears welling up in her eyes. "We were terrible sisters. We took you for granted."
Taeyeon, the fierce leader, stepped forward, placing a hand on my shoulder. "You became our family, Y/n. And we scared you away. We… we can't lose you again."
Her words unraveled something within me. I realized I wasn't just drawn to their world; I was trapped. Their love, once suffocating, was now a possessive cage woven from concern and affection.
I looked at their faces, each beautiful in its own way, and a horrifying truth dawned on me. They were obsessed. Not with me as a brother, but as something… more. A possession to be cherished, protected, and never let go of. The warmth I felt earlier turned icy cold, a knot of fear tightening in my stomach.
They were my family, my saviors, but also my captors. A twisted family bound by a love that had crossed the line, and I, Y/n, the unwanted son, was now their prisoner in a gilded cage.
The following days solidified my fear. My room was adorned with SNSD posters, their schedules plastered across my desk like religious icons. My phone was replaced with one monitored by Sooyoung, under the guise of 'keeping me safe.' Sunny, the bubbly one, would burst into tears if I mentioned leaving for a walk. Hyoyeon, the dance machine, started following me everywhere, a silent, watchful shadow.
At night, the nightmares began. I'd wake up in a cold sweat, the scent of lilies – their favorite flower – thick in the air. A single lily would be placed on my nightstand, a silent promise of their obsessive love.
One evening, I managed to sneak my old phone out of my bag. With trembling fingers, I dialed a random international number. A voice, rough with sleep, answered on the other end.
"Hello?"
"Mom? Dad? It's me Y/n." Relief flooded me, a lifeline thrown across a vast ocean of despair.
But before I could speak further, the door creaked open. Taeyeon stood there, her face a mask of fury. The phone clattered to the floor, the sound of my shattered hope echoing in the silence.
"Who were you talking to?" Her voice was laced with venom.
Tears welled up in my eyes. "M-my parents. I just wanted to…"
"You don't need anyone else," Tiffany cut in, her eyes blazing with a possessive glint. "You have us."
They surrounded me, a suffocating wall of beautiful faces. Yoona, ever the gentle one, held a syringe filled with a clear liquid.
"This will help you sleep, Y/n. No more bad dreams."
Panic clawed at my throat. I lunged for the door, but Jessica was already there, her grip like iron. A struggle ensued, a pathetic fight against nine determined women. In the end, they subdued me, the syringe finding its mark on my arm.
The world dissolved into a hazy blur. As darkness claimed me, I heard their voices, a chilling chorus that echoed in the recesses of my mind.
"Don't worry, Y/n. You're safe now. You'll never leave us again."
I woke up strapped to a bed, the sterile white room a stark contrast to the opulent prison I called home. An IV dripped into my arm, a constant reminder of my captivity.
On the bedside table sat a bouquet of lilies, their cloying scent filling the air. Despair washed over me, a cold, suffocating wave. There was no escape. I was a prisoner in a gilded cage, a plaything for nine beautiful, deranged women who called themselves my sisters. The once-distant dream of freedom now felt like a cruel joke. My new reality was a life sentence of love, a love so twisted it could only be called obsession.
To Be Continued

Hi...if you don't mind, can I ask something from MDZS? What do you think are Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen’s greatest personality strengths and weaknesses? Why? What do you love about their dynamic? Since what moment that you start shipping them? What are your favorite personal headcanons about them? Sorry if you've answered these questions before.....
Thanks for the ask! I always love a good excuse to talk about my OTP!
To me, Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen are a perfect match because their personalities are opposite but complementary. Their dynamic is so interesting because it's so obvious that they're meant for each other. Their interactions in Yi City clearly show that, if you take away the horrors of their past, they get along effortlessly and bring out positive qualities in each other that no one else can. Xue Yang becomes kinder and happier and Xiao Xingchen is able to share his burdens and have fun. The paradox that they could never have been together because what brought them together was what drove them apart only adds to the beautiful tragedy of it all.
Headcanons:
Xue Yang is the better cook by far, not because he can see, but because he actually has standards. Xiao Xingchen will make something nutritionally complete that tastes like shit and call it a day.
Xiao Xingchen earnestly offers to help Xue Yang learn to be a cultivator, and since Xue Yang doesn't want to use demonic cultivation in front of Xiao Xingchen and give himself away, he agrees and actually learns how to do it the traditional way for the first time in his life.
Xue Yang is left handed, which is why losing his left pinky was particularly devastating. When Xiao Xingchen teaches him to use a sword as part of the cultivation lessons, he learns with his right hand to better pass as a beginner. This is why he can dual wield so effectively.
Xiao Xingchen runs cold and Xue Yang runs warm. Xue Yang was extremely surprised when Xiao Xingchen was the one to suggest sharing a bed for warmth (he takes it as a proposition while Xiao Xingchen literally just wants the body heat, but they both get on the same page pretty shortly after that).
Shuanghua and Jiangzai's sword spirits get along really well.
Xue Yang does actually know that A-Qing isn't blind, he just goes along with it since he knows it would ruin her sense of safety and comfort if he actually exposed her.
Xiao Xingchen's internal monologue is surprisingly judgmental and not nearly as wholesome as you might think. That's why he finds it funny and not offensive when Xue Yang is unafraid to say those thoughts out loud.
Edit: Forgot to mention when I started shipping them... the answer is kind of complicated because I was primed to ship them before I even knew them. When they first showed up onscreen while my mother showed me The Untamed (this was the first version of MDZS I experienced), she asked, "would you believe me if I said they became a couple in the future?" and I was like "I hadn't thought about it but now I want to know how." So you can all thank my mother for being the original Xuexiao fan in my family.

Eh, I doubt this will stop them but I'll cover the alleged hypocrisy since they appear to be harassing other people as well before going to bed.
[description: reblog from harassing-little-hypocrite. The real question is why was the little hypocrite so upset about Imodna in the first place? There is only one answer to that question, and the little hypocrite refuses to give any reasonable alternative. Sure, it made sense to criticize Imodna before, it really left a lot to be desired. But now, there is a new ship that, at best, has all the problems Imodna had. Why is the little hypocrite a fan of one ship but has never stopped shitting on the other? What is different about them, really?]
I assume "little hypocrite" is referring to me, because it was a reblog of my post, but given the URL it might be the poster talking about themselves in the third person like Elmo does. Who can say, really.
Anyway, I agree, Imodna does leave a lot to be desired. I'm not upset; I think it's boring but it also only comes up for like two minutes every other episode.
What's different about Fearne and Ashton: To be clear, I don't consider this an OTP, I don't have strong investment in it being endgame, I absolutely don't expect it to be monogamous, and honestly if it jumped straight into Undying Devotion To Each Other next episode instead of making out and having more interesting conversations I'd be immediately turned off. But right now? They've had a conversation of substance, they discussed their goals in concrete ways, they've had a silly flirty thing going on with the stealing game throughout the campaign (even when I thought the fanon of the ship sucked - which I still do - I felt a hookup would be fun but anything deeper would be contrived), and, perhaps most crucially, they can express frustrations with each other. My issue with Imodna has always been that they have the same boring-ass conversation in slightly different configurations over and over, the two potentially interesting conflicts they had fizzled out like a cheap whoopie cushion, and god, I'm so bored. Fearne and Ashton have conflict. That's the main thing I've wanted from Imodna - I've said that repeatedly - and they've failed to deliver. That's the difference.
Anyone can look through my blog and find plenty of other F/F ships I've enjoyed greatly; I happen to dislike this particular one. There's plenty of straight ships I think suck as well. It's deeply irresponsible to co-opt the language of social justice over stupid fandom wank; you sure aren't helping lesbians in any material way through this, that's for certain, if this is what I considered fun I'd develop literally any other hobby, and it does not really worry me what you think of me given that you don't know me in real life and as such have no basis to pass such judgments with authority.
It's interesting that for a ship where so many shippers seem desperate for more approval from the fandom, multiple Imodna shippers like you are simultaneously out here asking the question "what if I made myself as unpleasant as possible?" (I know you say you find it leaves a lot to be desired, but given that you're specifically mad that I like a different ship more than Imodna...yeah, sure.) Not sure if you're the old fandom bottom-feeder or a new one, but man, people who were neutral on Imodna have begun to sour on it because it's getting a reputation for being the ship of choice for clowns like you, and it's only going to keep getting worse, and people who prefer other things are going to just keep blocking you and write meta and fic for their ships and you'll get less and less.
#cr spoilers#anyway if this person bothers you...sorry about that pls block and report etc etc i'm going to sleep

another 10 of the OTP questions with scones
11. Who leaves notes in the other one's lunch? (Bonus: what do they say?)
McCoy likes packing Scotty lunches more since it was a routine when he was married and took care of his kid, but he's not much of a note writer. Scotty is though, and on the days he packs McCoy a lunch he would write something simple; "Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm not good at rhyming, I love you"
12. Who prefers calling to texting (& vice versa)? Bonus: Who is so bad at texting it made the other think they weren't interested when they first started hanging out? [This could be hypothetical as much as real].
i can't explain how bad McCoy is at texting back. horrible. he's constantly forgetting to reply. Scotty worried a lot in the beginning of their relationship because he would think McCoy is mad at him or something, but they cleared it up. both prefer calling now
13. Stay home/go-out? What are their date nights like?
definitely stay home. screw going out and looking your best when you can stay home snuggled closely to ur human heater of a boyfriend
14. Who falls asleep during a movie?
Scotty. he's really bad about it. McCoy purposely picks movies HE wants to watch so he avoids getting sad when Scotty falls asleep
15. Who's the first to cry during movies that don't seem sad?
if the movie isn't actually sad, i don't think either of them would cry. McCoy definitely cries more during sad animal movies though
16. Who hogs the covers?
Scotty. Scotty so Scotty. he already warms run so he doesn't even need the damn covers but McCoy always finds them wrapped around him. he's tried hogging them back, but he learned now that you just have to wiggle yourself into the bundle of warmth and melt completely against Scotty (these are the nights McCoy sleeps the best- get him warm and he's out like a light)
17. Who is more competitive?
both. they try to act like they aren't but when it comes to board games it comes out in full force
18. What are they like when they're drunk? How do they act together? & when 1 is drunk, while the other one's sober?
ive never gotten drunk before (thank god) and never really been around someone who is drunk IRL (also thank god) so NO ONE look at me for this one. but i think Scotty would be very giggly and McCoy is overall just a bit calmer. when they're together though it's a fucking mess. Scotty is getting them into shit and McCoy is progressively feeding into it by coming up with his own drunk ideas of stupid shit to do
When one of them is drunk and the other isnt; they're used to this. they'll gently guide whoever it is through getting sober, since i don't see either of them getting drunk without the other unless they're going through something and alcohol is the only way they see to cope about it. it's an unspoken rule- if you're drunk without me, you're lost. i'll be there when you're sober to talk about it, no judgment
19. What do they fight about most often? (Alternative: what was their biggest fight?)
i already answered half of this one, so ill answer the other half. i'd probably say after the episode Empath. McCoy gets FUCKING TORTURED GUYS. Scotty is scared and worried for McCoy, but he's constantly playing it off. Scotty isn't exactly mad at the beginning, but he gets progressively more frustrated when McCoy won't open up about it and let him help. he just wants to help- why is McCoy being so stubborn? it admittedly blew up into something bigger than what it needed to be, but fear can make you act irrationally. thankfully they came together with Scotty apologizing about trying to pry too much and potentially babying McCoy, while McCoy apologizes for pushing Scotty away and not being open and honest about things
20. Who randomly brings home a stray puppy/kitten to adopt?
Scotty. he brings home injured animals and looks to McCoy for help, constantly forgetting he's a DOCTOR not a VET. McCoy still tries to help as much as he can

Helena Bertenelli for the charecter ask game?
Helena Bertinelli
Three facts about them from my personal headcanons
1. Helps with a summer reading program at the closest library where she helps younger kids break down books and look at narrative tools.
2. Visits the graves of the children she was unable to save. Late at night when she can afford a moment or two.
3. She still keeps snacks in her pantry that she doesn't like but knows other people like. Whether it's for when Dinah, or Babs comes over, or when other vigilantes need a close place to crash.
A reason they suck
She doesn't go to therapy, but will recommend it to others.
A reason they are great
Despite everyone trying to change and control her, she continues to be herself and only changes when she wants to change. Also, the slow healing she goes through but still backslide.
A reason I relate to them
Her anger and rage at what she has been through and the treatment she faces. Her grudges and the way that even when she has been wronged, she will still help because she is still a good person.
(What I consider to be) the top tier otp/ot3 for the character
I don't really ship her endgame with anyone? I like her ships in context. The BoP polycule is super fun, but I only see it in the context of the comic and can't see it in any other AUverse. I like Helena and Dick in the context of this is the best divorceable ship ever. I haven't read enough of either Question to have a big opinion.
Five things that have never happened to this character that I believe should have happened
1. Even if briefly, experience the dynamic of having a sidekick.
2. Save her class of students while as a civilian.
3. Bonding experience with Cass. Could go good or bad but they will bond in some way.
4. A team-up or team with no strings attached. Where she doesn't end up being in the role of being controlled.
5. A spin-off series with her and Artemis. They had such a fun dynamic in the gods of Gotham story and I would have loved to see more of it.
Five people that character has never fallen in love with and why?
1. Dick. She could never fall in love with someone who keeps so many secrets and never fully trusts her. She never saw it as being long-term and already knew that a relationship between the two of them would never last long.
2. Babs. She could never fall in love with someone who seeks to control her. She never wants to end up in the position where she is unable to leave, unable to make her own choices without feeling that string of control.
3. Dinah. She could never fall in love with someone while knowing that the person's heart belongs to another. That the love she could hold would always be second to another. Knowing that the other would go back to another.
4. The people she has to flirt with while on the job. She could never fall in love with someone who would know only one part of herself and someone whose first connection is to the mask.
5. Herself. She can never truly love herself because she sees so many flaws and passes too much judgment onto herself. She knows her own past and knows the toll it has taken on her to live with it but also the toll that being Huntress can take on her. She knows what she is doing to herself, and for that, she can't fully love herself.

send a ship ask game xiyao chengyao and chengxian
oooh another one thank u!!
xiyao
my otp tbh. i mean, i wrote an entire fic series about an alternate universe where jgy lives, just so i could keep them together. i think that answers that question lmao. but no, like, you don't understand. these two are such a tragedy: they love each other so deeply, yet are kept apart by duty and circumstance, and lxc is someone who jgy is probably the most honest with - but he still withholds - and him withholding from lxc is the one thing that lxc cannot forgive. so when guanyin temple happens, and lxc finds out the truth, he feels betrayed and rejected and like everything between them was a lie and god, he thought that he knew jgy better than anyone else. he thought he was the exception. but jgy can't afford exceptions. can't afford to let anyone too close. experience has taught him to keep people within arm's distance but no closer than that and lxc had thought he was the exception but he wasn't. except that he was - in jgy's eyes - because jgy had never allowed himself to hope for love, to be loved, before lxc.
lxc wanted to know jgy - even the monster bits - but jgy thought he had to wear a mask in order to be loved by him. but lxc just wanted him, darkness and all.
chengyao
ohoho i mean, i love the concept of chengyao as like "two men who are bad at emotions are thrown together by force to help raise this child together" and i just, like to think that over the years, jc had grown to respect - maybe even admire - jgy for his resilience and persistence. b/c those are two traits that jc values highly - and he knows what it means to be resilient and persistent and to build something from scratch. so he admires jgy, and jgy grows to admire jc too, because he sees the way jc had rebuilt his sect from the ground up and how he holds his own against other sect leaders and - there might be a little bit of jealousy there.
so they respect one another, and they have this kid they have to raise together, so they do their best. and maybe jc thinks jl likes jgy better, so there's some hidden resentment, and maybe jgy thinks jc is too harsh on jl, so there's judgment. and they never see eye to eye, but they do their best - for jl.
but then guanyin temple happens and jgy puts the garrote around jl's neck - his own nephew - and jc loses every ounce of respect he has for jgy. even if all of his other atrocities didn't seal his fate - him using the garrote on jl did it for him.
but man. before all that - these two raising jl together?? peak comedy. 100/10 never getting over it. they are a small, broken family but jc and jgy are both tenacious as hell and like hell they're gonna let this boy suffer like they did. that's why jl is so spoiled rotten - b/c jgy and jc just can't stand to see him suffer.
chengxian
oh anon. you just opened the floodgates. what can i say about chengxian, the twin prides, the two brothers who have always been at odds, yet refusing to let each other go?
chengxian is the most tragic ship in the entire show. we watch jc and wwx grow up together. we see their brotherhood and their friendship. we see how loyal and dedicated and fond they are of one another. but we also see the cracks and fissures between them: the way jfm dotes on wwx and the parallel hatred yzy has for wwx; the way jc always felt responsible for wwx; the fact that jc may have been wwx's superior in title but everyone who saw them knew wwx was smarter and stronger ; and the resentment that dug its way inside jc's chest and made him bitter.
but jc had always thought - believed - that wwx would choose him over everything else - except maybe jyl - and he clung to their brotherhood like a lifeline. he thought wwx was his ride or die.
but then the wen's destroy the jiang sect. they kill jc's parents. and jc blames wwx for everything - but still, even then, he sacrifices himself to save wwx, and they tear out jc's core (and wwx saves him too late and sacrifices his own core to save jc but jc doesn't know this until years later and its too late and everything is festered and ugly between them) and the wen's throw wwx into the burial mounds and he thinks wwx is dead and that it was all for nothing.
wwx goes to the burial mounds - and that, that changes things entirely. it changes wwx, b/c now he's coreless and weak and he's had to survive.
and then they meet again - after jc spends months with someone he hates just looking for his brother, clinging to some shred of hope that he's still alive - and wwx is different. but they still try to act like everything is the same; that nothing has changed. except that everything has.
and then wwx chooses the wens. he chooses the wens - the very same sect who murdered their family - over jc. over family. and something inside jc finally breaks.
he gives up on wwx. gives up on their brotherhood. meanwhile wwx has been begging him to let him go this entire time. and he thinks wwx doesn't care when it's the farthest thing from it, because all wwx wants is for jc to rebuild his sect, and being associated with wwx will only destroy them.
but, these two are Class A noncommunicators. they sacrifice everything for each other time and time again, without any thought to what the other one wants, and if not for wn, wwx would have died holding onto the core secret (edit: hell, he fucking DID in his first life); just like jc will probably die without ever telling wwx that he was the one who distracted the wen guards. that he was the domino that led to all the broken things between them.
this...has gotten impossibly long. but i'll end with this: jc and wwx will never stop loving each other. beneath all of the layers of resentment and bitterness and hatred, there is brotherhood and love and care.
they may be too broken to be fixed in their entirety, but a broken vase can still be glued back together.

Helloo! For the OTP ask thing 23, 24 & 25 pls :-)
hi hi!! 🌸
23. Who initiates cuddling more? wille 100%
24. Sleeping/cuddling positions? (Big spoon, little spoon, etc.)? already answered here!
25. (a lil sappy, but..) What do they like about each other? ohhh people way more eloquent than me already gifted this fandom with beautiful responses to this question, but i'll try my best. simon likes that wille is a goof and he's sweet, kind and a little awkward, but that he can be assertive and passionate and a little unhinged too. he likes that he's fundamentally good and he's always trying to do better. he likes how generous and intense he is in his devotion - when you have wille's attention you have it. he loves how loved wille makes him feel. wille likes how strong-willed simon is, that he's not scared to speak his mind and he won't care who likes it or not. he likes how he's always true to himself and he believes in people. he likes that he's patient and non-judgmental. he loves it when he sings and don't you even dare try to suggest otherwise, because simon bares his soul to whoever is smart enough to listen and wille does listen.

A-Z Ask Meme | Open
@sixvisxpacem asked: A,C, M for the meme, please :D
Thank you for the ask!! These are good ones, too, so thank you~ Of course most of my answers will be FF7 centric unless implied otherwise by those asking, or me choosing otherwise.
A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed. - Honestly, my top three have shifted since I got back into this fandom big (i didn't really ship anything for years, then Sefikura hit me in the face, but things have shifted a bit). But, proudly so, I'd say I have a top three. #1 is Strifentine, #2 is Sephesis, and #3 is Sefikura, though that fluctuates mood depending on me, and the content I'm engaging in. Valenstrifesodos is a big one too, even though I haven't engaged with it heavily, but skadren has certainly won me over hard on the pairing! There are other small ones I like, too, though. Some I like from the side lines (for example, AerTi), and others I like engaging with by creating content occasionally (SephZack).
C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will. Eh... I don't really have any that I actively dislike to a degree that fits this question perfectly? ValenWind, kinda? Like, no judgment to those that enjoy it, I support you. Just not my vibe, don't think I could really get into it for a multitude of reasons. Vincent and Lucrecia, my young self use to just dislike her because i was obsessed with Vincent and had no concept of understanding her character XD I was an idiot. I like the tragedy of it!! I love the fucked up story and dynamic. But supporting it as a ship, no. They couldn't be good for each other. That's about all I can think of! There might be some I wouldn't like, I just can't think of.
M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend. Ooooh, this is hard...because it would either be someone I think would be fun and interesting, or it'd be someone I'd want to ensure had a good friend because they need the support lol. I'd probably jump between Nanaki, Cloud, Tifa, or Aerith....man it's hard to choose XD

questions 11, 14, 16, and/or 30 for rin and astarion? 🥺
🥹 thank you soooo much for sending this in!!! I'm so happy and excited to answerrrr ❤️
11. Do either try to hide their emotions if upset? Can the other still tell?
I think Astarion definitely attempts to hide his emotions as he doesn't like to be seen as weak, but I also think that as time progresses he opens up a bit more when he is able to trust and feels safe. Rin can definitely always tell because Astarion and subtle are not two words I associate together 😅.
Rin also attempts to hide hers, but its 50/50 on whether she tries to brush it off (but is obviously annoyed) or start an argument 😤. Astarion can tell either way because she doesn't care to be subtle (unless she's trying to get something she wants, of course.)
14. How do each of their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?
Fun question! I think their personalities compliment each other in a variety of ways! Rin isn't terrible judgmental, is decently permissive, and in general isn't too bothered by things like Astarion's prickliness or his mean streak. They're both a little snappy and gossipy, so they can enjoy their time together easily and neither is offended by the other. It's not hard for them to orbit each other because there's an ease there, an understanding.
However, they each have impulsivities that absolutely agitate the other, and I think that this is where they can clash a little bit in regards to decision-making. Rin also categorically dislikes Astarion's hunt for power, which is something that hasn't come up quite yet in the story but will later obviously. She wants to be free on her own terms and not under the thumb of anyone or anything else, and sees things like power as just another way to be controlled.
16. Can they stay up all night just talking?
Yes! They spend a lot of time just talking together at camp and this is something that flows into their life post-game as well. Even if it's just petty gossiping all evening, they have no problem talking about whatever with each other.
30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other's outfits; what is each wearing?
Astarion is quick to say OUT with the oversized tunics and plain pants and IN with something lushly textured and deep in color, maybe in a lovely green to match her eyes. He comes across a beautiful deep green satin dress--low backed and high slitted, the fabric flowing with ease and sheen luminescent in the candlelight and Astarion's quite proud of himself at the find. His hands can't keep away from the bits of exposed skin, her blush at every touch far too enticing. He doesn't see her in dresses that often but he thinks he should try to be more convincing if this is to be the reward.
Rin picks out something blue for him, she thinks he looks terribly good in the color and flatters him greatly, after all. Perhaps a lovely velvet blue doublet with elegant silver embroidery and polished buttons up the front, tailored shirt underneath open low so she can catch little glimpses of the necklace she bought for him (along with his chest but shh he can't know that she's sneaking peeks, he'd never let her live it down.)(he definitely knows. and definitely allows it.)
#thank you for sending me these!!!!!#oc: rin#ask games#fic: to eden#i can prattle on about these two for hours#sorry these are long I have no sense of control over my thoughts

Teen Wolf?
Thanks for playing!
favorite character: STILES STILES IS THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD
least favorite character: Kate. But special shout-out to Theo
brOTP: Allison and Lydia
OTP: Sterek. Sterek all the way there is no question this show is the Sterek Show. Shout-out to side-pairings I love: Scott/Allison, Boyd/Erica, Jackson/Lydia, Malia/Kira
OT3: Mh. Sterek and Steter in a "Stiles has two hands (and is Hale-catnip)" way? Which is. Very hard to come by in a non-incestuous way (no judgment. It's just. Not for me). I just generally don't multiship a lot in this fandom, it is very uniquely one where I care more about various platonic relationships than over romantic shipping
NOTP: Scott/Stiles. Theo/Stiles
favorite storyline: oh the Nogitsune all the fucking way. s3B is the most brilliant storyline it's just devastating that it was preceded by s3A
least favorite storyline: lol s6B what the fuck was that even man I hate it so much. Shout-out to s5 for being the second worse and for s4 and s3A for sucking equally though. Only half this show is watchable and that makes me miserable because I still love it
what I wish had happened but didn’t: tHE HALE PACK SHOULD HAVE LIVED. It literally would not have fucking hurt anything at all if Derek and his pack just got to STAY AROUND. Boyd and Erica living. Jackson not leaving. Derek keeping his Alpha spark. Cora not fucking off again. I just want my Hale Pack, man
what happened that I wish hadn’t: feels like I could just rephrase what I just said to put it here too. Additionally, honestly, s6B. Like, s6A fully ended on a photo-finish moment? And then they tagged another half season of ABSOLUTE bullshit on that was aggravating and exhausting. s6A was honestly... not that bad, I mean, it was better than s5 (which is just such a low bar lol like it was very hard to get worse and inexplicably they managed to do it by making s6B), they could have ended on an okay note
Fandom Ask Game!
#Teen Wolf#Fandom Ask Game#send me asks#fun fact: this is. aside from BtVS. the ONLY show#that I fully know by heart what plotline happens in what season#and who's the Big Bad of which season#I do not remember these things for ANY show. at all. I don't have the memory for it#it all just blurs into a mash of The Whole Entire Story#but this show? this show is portioned in my mind. also rated and ranked in my mind

are there any differences in how your approach writing stevetony compared to stories where one of them is involved in another romantic pairing?
It was pretty funny to get this question right before I got tagged in a rec of one of my two Winteriron fics. The universe has a theme, I guess.
I haven't written a whole lot of stories for Steve and Tony where the endgame is another pairing -- I have a couple Winteriron stories, and I have a Clint/Steve story, and even though the Steve/Batroc story ends up Steve/Tony I feel like they end in an amicable enough place that it should count. This is in contrast with, say, Tony/Ty, because while I would say that I ship them it's not because I think their relationship is the OTP kind of thing. Tony's sure not with Ty because Ty's going to make him happy, anyway. They fulfill a different narrative need in my soul.
I don't think I've written any stories with other pairings that are as tightly tied to canon as a lot of my Steve/Tony fic is -- I tend to write a lot of fic that is like "okay, how do Steve and Tony feel about each other now that this one specific canon event has happened to both of them" (like Civil War, or the Judgment Day fic I am currently writing) whereas my other-pairing fic is like "it probably takes place at this time but it's not based on a specific thing that they underwent together and possibly these characters didn't even know each other in canon then so you'll have to use your imagination." I think it's a little trickier as a writer because then you have to do more of the heavy lifting yourself to show why they'd be good together whereas with Steve and Tony it's like "obviously we all know that these guys are in love because we have issues and issues about how they feel about each other and we can mention a couple things and then just skip to the getting-together bit." Possibly this is because I am just The Most OTP about Steve/Tony.
The dynamics are obviously different. Clint and Steve have this kind of antagonistic hero worship thing going on that is definitely Them and would look really, really weird in a Steve/Tony story. And when I write Bucky/Tony it seems like a lot of it ends up being about Steve anyway, even if Steve isn't the focus -- like, if that Cold War Winteriron story had been Steve/Tony instead, Tony would have cared way sooner about how Steve was slowly losing his mind. Steve's situation matters to him once he knows what it is, but Steve is kind of just hovering around the edges of the story there. Canonically, Bucky and Tony's initial dynamic is very much defined by the absence of Steve (by which I mean that Bucky tries to kill Tony because he thinks Tony is responsible for Steve's death), so I think when I write them Steve still has to factor in, even if he's not part of the pairing.
It's different, is what I am saying. But it's still fun.

kyle for the ask thingy
sexuality headcanon- Demi bisexual (male preference) or demi gay. he's demi no matter what though. Or ace. just ace spectrum rly imo
otp- Is this even a question. STYLEEEEE style style style. I love style sm. Literally look at them they mean so much to me. Stan and Kyle are such a fun dynamic and there's so much that can be done with them. they're best friends and they love each other more than anything but they're also codependent and could be the other's downfall. They hate each other. They need each other. I want to shake them.
brotp- not to get literal but I love his dynamic with his brother so much. Kyle just being an annoying older brother with eldest-sister-aka-the-third-parent-complex who is desperate to be a positive figure in Ike's life and Ike wanting Kyle to fuck off so he can watch Pewdiepie (but he loves Kyle dearly). Iconic.
notp- Mghhhh I'm not gonna go on about how I hate ky///man here as I've done so plenty before but I don't like it as a bothsided thing except in rare cases, typically only if it's used as a plot device that isn't intended to be endgame. It makes me genuinely uncomfortable- On the other hand, a lot of my closest friends ship it so I can tolerate it. But yah, not my thing and not something that makes much sense to me except in very specific cases.
first headcanon that pops into my head- Freckles bc someone commented that he doesn't have them on an animation I made the other day and it pissed me off lol
Also he's autistic
favorite line from this character- "Because you're my little brother, Goddammit! And even when I'm fifty and you're forty-five, you're still gonna be my little brother!" Bless him
one way in which I relate to this character- Hghhhhhh hahahahah oh boy. Ummm Repression and anger as a defense mechanism. Can't keep my mouth shut. Too judgmental (trying not to be,,), and plenty more. he's so fucking relatable I hate him
something that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character- His tiktoks (though I also adore them) and how badly he'll try to fit in in the most awkward ways possible. It's more loveable than embarrassing though.
cinnamon roll or problematic fave? Cinnamon roll. He has some issues and can be shitty but I think he's overall a good person who tries his best and I think that shines way above any missteps he's made, especially considering he's rarely malicious and usually his worst actions were taken out of hurt and in an attempt to make things better for everyone.
Here's the prompt for anyone who wants it!

Gossip girl ahaha for the fandom question!
I was waiting for somebody to ask me this, thank you so much! :)
my favorite female character - Blair and Serena tied. I can't choose between them because I love them both but for different reasons. Blair - for her loyalty to people she loves, her active, resourceful mind, tenacity; Serena - for her genuine sweetness and kind heart. I think they complement and balance each other nicely.
my favorite male character - Chuck. I think he had the most complete and compelling character journey and the biggest character development of all characters on the show. I love his capacity to love deeply, how devoted he was to people he loved, how he always was ready to help his friends without expecting anything in return. I love how selfless he could be and how perceptive he was. I love his sharp mind, wit, intelligence and self-awareness. I love how messed up he was yet was able to deal with his emotional issues, overcome his demons and become the best version of himself. I love that he didn’t judge, he was the least judgemental character on the show. And btw out of all the mains he was the only one who never cheated on his girlfriends.
my favorite book/season/etc - Season 2, but Season 1 follows very closely. These certainly are the best seasons.
my favorite episode (if its a tv show) - Season 2 Episode 13 "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?". Incredibly moving episode for me. It has everything: life and love vs death, funeral vs wedding, outstanding soundtrack "Signs" and "Slow Show".
my favorite cast member - I don't have any. I usually don't follow actors.
my favorite ship - Chuck/Blair, hands down.
a character I’d die defending - Chuck, lol. I really think he receives a lot of unfounded hatred.
a character I just can’t sympathize with - Dan. I was ok with him in Season 1 (that is, if we don't take into account that he was Gossip Girl) but as the story progressed it became more and more apparent that he was a judgmental, self-righteousness, pretentious hypocrite. By the end I absolutely loathed him. And the whole Gossip Girl business makes him a thousand times worse, a maniac stalker. If the writers had decided to make him Gossip Girl, he should have never ended up with Serena.
a character I grew to love - Georgina. In Season 1 she was pretty much a villain but over the seasons, particularly after the birth of her son her character became more layered. In Seasons 5 and 6 she often was a voice of truth, and I love that at the end she played something akin to a fairy godmother to Chuck and Blair.
my anti otp - Dan/Blair, the most contrived pairing on the show full of contrived pairings. Also, Serena/Gossip Girl for obvious reasons.
