I already talked about them in their own post, this scene changed my life leading to my self-discovery and it still lives rent-free in my mind.

I'd also add MadoHomu but I'm trying to keep it to just one for each fandom. That said, they still make me mentally unwell. I love them, and I did for a long time now. I can't wait for the next movie to come out and suffer.

Still down the queer cartoons making history path, these two made me insane back in the day because I still didn't understand I was queer and lots of sapphic couple were starting to appear in media, and I remember jokingly say how "lesbian ships were hauting me". All I can say now is "Thank you" lol. Anyway, they were incredibly important and all the people criticizing how little queerness there's in the show will never understand just how massive this scene was.

Catradora (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power)

Friends to Enemies to back to Friends to Lovers. Iconic. I still want a movie with their adventures bringing magic back to the universe.

Hollstein (Carmilla)

My third beloved blonde with a cat gf ship. I miss this web-series every day. Also, Natasha Negovanlis played an immense role in my gay awakening.

Ellie and Riley (The Last of Us: Left Behind)

Ellie and Dina are adorable and I love them, BUT I just will never get over these two. That dlc fucked me up. (also, they're in the same category with Korrasami as "gay ships that hauted me before I realized I was queer" lol)

Lumity (The Owl House)

I remember starting this show feeling it as the successor of Steven Universe, at least to me. We could say that at level of mistreatment from its parent company, it defenitely surpassed it, but at least I'm glad I was right and we got Luz and Amity becoming canon. I love these two and not a day passes without me yelling at Disney for what it did to them.

Bubbline (Adventure Time)

I actually watched Adventure Time fully only recently, but I always loved them even when I watched the show randomly when it appeared in tv back in the day. Getting to see the progression properly just made me love them even more.

Yasammy (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous/Chaos Theory)

Incredibly recent addition, but I am so glad that I checked out Camp Cretaceous and got into it. It's a nice show and these two are a really cute couple, their confession and especially Yaz's internal turmoil were just so on point. I was really happy to see them go still strong in Chaos Theory, and I can't wait for next season.

Pricefield (Life is Strange)

These two caused me pain in the best possible way. I felt literal heartbreak at the Bay Ending, and I was just as emotional at the Bae one (Bae > Bay Forever) I hope the new game will respect their relationship OR ELSE.

How I feel about this character: the one and only, the only man ever. the best character star wars has ever given us. the bitch, the whore, the saint, the virgin. he's everything to me and i can't say enough how much i love him. whenever i have a bad day i just watch GIFs or videos of him and i feel genuinely better. i've loved him since i was a kid and i saw rots for the first time and i wanted to be both his padawan and his wife. he's perfect to me 💕

All the people I ship romantically with this character: i can see him fucking many many others but only loving anakin skywalker. sorry not sorry.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: everyone loves obi-wan, he's so good at his core, at who he is, exudes so much kindness and just genuine good that everyone who meets him and gets to know him comes to care about him/obssess over him. (except palpatine but he sucks anyway)

My unpopular opinion about this character: obi-wan is a walking contradiction. he's both a whore and a virgin, a bitch and one of the kindest beings ever; he's both the negotiator and someone who truly hates playing politics, he's vain and self assured ("killing siths is our specialty") but also humble and insecure. he's posh but also down to earth. he's layered and complex and reducing him to either one or the other is missing the whole point.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: we were robbed of alcoholic obi-wan but he forever lives in my heart and mind. also, more happiness than he had because every time i remember the "infinite sadness" quote i feel like i want to cry

I'm the anin (my bad ) and I meant that Alfred's extroverted while Arthur is not. Sadly my OTP is not usuk but I do love these takes and understanding more about others ships, I do have a curiosity, what do you think about frus? In terms of personality I kind of see it not working on but there is something very France in America too. (He's the best and worst of many influences for better or worse). But as for FrUS, I certainly don't see it as a long term stable relationship like I can for say other Alfred or Francis pairings. Or rather, scratch that, I don't think Francis is capable of long term stable. Again, I don't think any of the nations are bad people (flawed, oh my goodness yes) but boy can they be grim to each other.

Francis I think is a really good example of this. He's emotionally intelligent, very well read, well dressed, a pretty good friend at the end of the day if you need advice... but he also just thrives on conflict. Any kind. He has to come out on top, just by being a little bitch sometimes, other times by being genuinely harmful.

He has had a lot of influence over Alfred. I guess I like to think of it as in Arthur really shapes how America conceptualises and thinks of himself as Alfred; but Francis is formative in how Alfred conceptualises and thinks of America, or rather, what nationhood as America looks like. If that makes sense. Arthur sits on the more human spectrum, Francis on the nation.

So I just think there would be forever a push pull between Francis and Alfred. Francis practically gets off on being a mentor, the struggle would be Alfred often wants to do things on his own. And tell me what Francis is if not a meddler.

Also both boys vanity is going to lead to some...interesting fights. Like I would love to see it, for sure. But I think the conflict would be in getting Francis to not be so... well. French.

He is my everything. My confidante. My best friend. My right hand arm man. My silly rabbit. I want to put him in a box and shake it forever

Honestly I will truly ship anything. It's not even restricted to Kevin. But based on actual canon and not just me throwing random characters at each other and seeing how they spin, I would say I'm a particular enjoyer of Kandreil, Kevjean, and Kerejean. Also kevriko but only if it's one sided and fucked up but kevriko to me isn't even a ship it's just common sense. Also I high-key fuck with Kevthea I think they could have been great if given more thought and page time.

My thing is that I don't really care if a relantionship is platonic or romantic most of the time so usually if I enjoy a couple, I'll equally enjoy them as just friends. Just so I'm not copy pasting the previous answer I would have liked to see more Dan & Kevin and Matt & Kevin because they have a pretty tense canon relantionship that I don't think is the fun kind of tense (like for example I do think it's funnier if Kevin and Allison have an eternal bitch off), and that I would have liked to see fleshed out and maybe resolved.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I understand the ways that Kevin leaving made life worse for Jean, and why that fucked his abandonment issues even worse, but I feel like as a fandom people are very bad at separating how a character feels from what the reader knows. I think it's fine if Jean resents Kevin for leaving (which he canonically kind of doesn't; what he has going on is much more self-loathing and fucked up), but often times I see that bleeding into how people interpret that situation personally and it annoys me. Because as readers we know the full story from both sides and should know better. I'm just tired of seeing that situation being made solely about how it hurt Jean, ignoring the fact that Kevin had to choose between throwing his friend under the bus and staying and risking execution himself; that he was in an unimaginable amount of pain to the point where he called out to Jean in French out of pure desperation; and that that incident shattered Kevin's whole life and sense of self. The situation is all around fucked up and it's actually treated with nuance in TSC which has not translated into fandom at large at all. To treat it as if Kevin simply abandoned Jean for no reason, or that he should grovel for Jean's forgiveness, or even that Jeremy should cut Kevin out once he finds out the truth, are all very reductive ways to see the situation and it annoys me to hell and back.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

This is going to sound very basic and predictable but I really wished we had gotten more Andrew and Kevin post-Baltimore. Like I get the logic behind Nora making them not give a fuck about what happened I just wished it was different. Truly one (1) conversation and I would be happy forever maybe

1 - How did you choose their name?

Her name was actually Kamren (Like Cameron) when she was first created and there is still an iteration of her somewhere in my original work named Kamren but I changed it to Karmen for the previous hyper-fixation because not only did Kamren seem too modern but I was doing a lot of writing on my phone (my own personal hell) and autocorrect was being suchhh a bitch changing it to Karmen so I was like YOU KNOW WHAT. 😂

4 - Do they have a best friend? If so, how did they meet? If not, have they ever/why never?

Yes! Karmen's best friend is her neighbour/Boss John! I could talk forever about their platonic soulmate relationship. They've been besties ever since they were little. They used to live really close to one another as kids and became like family to each other and their families. Now they live across the street from one another, thank God because when they shared an apartment for a year, Karmen could have actually killed him. Across the street is close yet far enough away that she can pretend to not be home "Everybody Loves Raymond" style when she see's him coming over. 😅

7 - What attribute of them (some facet of their personality, their history, their look, or whatever etc) would you find most important to somehow preserve if they were transplanted to an AU fanfic?

Speaking of John.. He is the main character of my previous hyper-fixation and the muse for all my fanfics pre-Eddie. Him and his wife Abi are my OTP. So Karmen was pulled from my original work into their world where she was the tired, ever compassionate best friend that had a nice shoulder to cry on.

So I guess what I'm saying is Karmen was already pulled through several AUs before she made it into this one and while she does change a little each time, throughout all she has kept her loving, nurturing and compassionate personality traits above all others. 🥰

11- Does your character have a pet peeve?

Her biggest pet peeve would definitely be when she goes out of her way to try and make her busy life a little easier in the long run and others don't respect it. Like if she bought a little basket to put toilet paper rolls in but she's the only one that ever fills the basket and frequently finds herself without TP because she expects it to be in the basket and it's empty because someone took the last roll and didn't refill it. That crap. 😂

this ask game

starting with how i feel about her. i feel things so many things i love her so deeply so very deeply and i end up going insane about her a lot. there's just so much potential for tragedy without even taking into account the actual tragic fate of canon and that makes me insane. also just sibling. she's a younger sibling and not enough people explore her and petunia so i will take it upon myself to do just that !!!

people i ship lily with: (in no particular order and with more detail than necessary)

dorcas - dorlily will always be tragic to me idc if they are happy eventually it's always tragic

regulus - if i think too much about regulily i might explode :/ they are just like tragic again but also perfect in every way that makes no sense at all they don't intentionally fall in love ever it just happens by accident and then one day they're in love and no one saw it coming and just !!! also the younger sibling with a strained relationship with the older sibling thing .... why are more people not insane about that more people should be losing their minds with me

james - a classic! teenage love that's sweet and they just work. like james loves the way he loves and lily deserves that kind of love!! not as insane about these two but like they're always going to be good

mary - slowly have been falling out with marylily but i do still like them. even more fun if its unrequited on either end but great still as friends to lovers or just being sweet! when its requited there isn't as much angst which is usually what draws me to ships even more but like still fun

pandora - also not top of the list but still good! they're insane together and bring out the worst in each other (positive) and just very fun!

non romantic otp.... this is hard it really depends on the situation... bc like remus is right there and they deserve to be best friends and have an unspoken language together and be someone the other confides in. but then there is also platonic regulily which also drives me insane. and then lily and sirius are best friends you cannot tell me otherwise and the deserve that! like also back to siblings sirius and lily finding each other and helping to heal part of them with loving each other for the sibling that cant or won't and it's :( i love them

unpopular opinion on lily.... obvious answer is regulily but im not gonna talk about ships in this but im gonna go with idk if its unpopular but i feel like i dont see it that often but i feel like lily is kind of a bitch (again, positive) like if you take canon yeah she's a mom and thats the only trait she gets which is stupid. she's not soft at all unless you are one of her people and then she will adore you forever and ever and treat you like a princess but to anyone else especially anyone that is rude to her or her people she can and will kill them

one thing i wish would have happened to lily in canon - okay like i was just saying she should have more of a personality, but that aside and just considering a canon setting... she should have been the one to pick the secret keeper. like yeah all of them would have been in consideration including sirius and peter but lily would have been better at picking like clearly no one was thinking who are lily's friends that would be able to do this it was always just oh james! his best friend (also lily's bff but i digress) and then oh no not james' best friend let's go with his other friend! like cmon lily would have been smarter than to pick one of the three people closest to them that everyone knows is close to them :/ also she should have lived that would have been cool of her to also survive a killing curse

Eric/Donna or Jackie/Hyde? I know this is shocking given my url haha. I wrote a whole separate post, but basically, JH has been one of my biggest otps and part of my blueprint since I was 13. And when I put this username, they were still my #1 otp. I still have love for them but due to my view on both characters changing and me preferring Eric and Donna as characters over them, I choose E/D. I do love E/D as a ship tho, so don't get it twisted haha. There's just something so pure and sweet about falling in love with your best friend. Especially after knowing them for a long ass time.

Jenna/Connor or Jenna/KC? I couldn't really GET the Kenna hype tbh. Even when I did start liking KC after more watches, him and Jenna just aren't meant to be imo. They're just very unhealthy.

Jonnor is literally the purest ship ever. I love Connor sm and he treats Jenna like a damn queen. I lov how Jenna EMBRACES Connor's 'nerdiness' (i.e. "you can talk nerdy to me any time."). As far as I'm concerned, in every world, they're now married with two children.

Emma or Manny?

Manny's been my bitch since day one. Always loved her, always will. She's not perfect, but she grows and matures.

Emma really irritates me at times ngl haha. Maybe that'll change on a rewatch but ehhh. S3, S7-S8 (?) are like the only times Emma never annoyed me in my last watch. I do love her though and I like the idea of her being single, thriving, and just being the fun aunt to Janny's kids.

Caroline or Elena?

I don't hate Caroline anymore, but it's way she gets so much slack from the writers and ever parts of the fandom that annoy me. Like the fact that most of the time she gets praised for things Elena is shat on (sometimes rightfully tho haha).

Elena, for all her flaws, isn't the worst human being imo. I actually feel more bad for her than hate her. She still pisses me off at times, but I don't think she's this irredeemable monster.

Last note, but Elena Gilbert does not owe Stefan Salvatore and Damon Salvatore a goddamn thing and I will forever die on that hill.

Barney or Marshall?

I love them both SO MUCH. I wanted to pick Barney because he just makes me laugh, but I have a thing for wholesome men. And Marshall is one of them. I really like his relationship with Lily. Despite their issues, they're really adorable. Honestly I'll go far as to say they're my Stelena.
