This could be taken to the point where he feels like he needs to be in the same room with you at all times. Eyes on you whenever physically possible. Which is sorta intense so just let me know if that is too much for you (cause I could make it really gross or more mild lol)

Will do even the simplest task for you, not because he wants to do it to help, but because he doesn’t believe you can take care of yourself or MOREOVER he should be the only to take care of you because he is just that great. Which of course he will hang over y/n’s head in arguments and be like “BUT LOOK AT HOW MUCH I DO FOR YOU😡” type shit.

If you do constantly try to pull away from him he’ll think you’re just shy or playing hard to get and will therefore push your boundaries harder. But if you actually PHYSICALLY harm him or try to PERMANENTLY leave he’d rather tie you down until you apologize and say you weren’t in your right mind when you did that then listen to your plea seriously (HES SO DELULU) The punishment for this could also involve taking away material items or aspects of freedom because like you said he's not sadistic so he would never hurt you.

- you introduced cosplay to Vil and he likes it a lot, to pretend to be someone else for even a little, getting to wear crazy outfits with crazy make-up, please find a couple cosplay to do together 🙏

- he brings you many expensive gifts in the form of jewelry, clothes, stuffed animals you name it. He is rich, but he feels the need to give people expensive things to keep them close. He has a fear that you'd leave him if he stopped, despite you telling him that's not the case all the time. He's very hard-headed (Aries gang), so you wouldn't be able to change his mind, but you can give him gifts in return.

BUT!

Don't buy him expensive gifts, give him something that comes from your heart, a silly drawing, a sticker, a mug you saw that you thought he'd like and he's in love. He prefers giving, so give him something he won't feel bad about later down the line, okay?

- all in all, it is a great relationship despite some of the bad things, lots of love and care (sometimes not in a way you would like, but it's Vil 😮‍💨)

- platonic: bro doesn't treat you as crazy, because you're only his friend. You're not part of the Pomefiore dorm, nor are you his significant other, so he has no reason to dictate your life. Gathering courage, you finally went to Vil to ask him about his opinion in this matter to which Vil straight up told you Rook has a crush.

- Vil then went on to explain that Rook does stalk often, but yours seems to be different, and that they often converse about you, and Rook just proclaims how his heart beats louder and faster whenever he sees you, and that your beauty is simply out of this world! (Pun intended)

But also, he kind of speaks in riddles? But not riddles? Like, his words don't always mean what he wants to say and it's on you to pick up on that.

- Rook is a very family based guy. Like, he loves his own and definitely dreams of having one at some point, so be prepared for that.

- Rook is very silly and you have to live with that. I believe one of your past time activities is playing dress up - Rook dresses you up and you dress up Rook and then you take a bunch of pictures that later go into his album... or more of them (he's still very creepy)

- your life became chaotic as hell ever since you got together. Like one minute you guys are resting and painting each other's nails and the next you're flying on one broom across the ocean while he shows you all the tricks he knows (you have almost lost your life several times)

Hector - hc + 📔 for a reading-themed headcanon

Hmmm. Hector is rather thrown when Karlach mentions that she hasn't read a book since secondary school. It's not that he judges her for it - he fully recognizes that not everyone is the nerd that he is, plus she's been in the Hells for ten years and would set fire to any book she touched anyway. This is still during Act 1, so they're not actually together yet, but he's already starting to have feelings for her, so he keys in on the whole situation more than he might otherwise.

He has a few conversations with her afterwards where he (attempting to be subtle but not really succeeding) asks her what sort of books she liked best to read when she was a kid, and susses out (unsurprisingly) that she liked adventure tales. After that he starts making a point of going through the books they pick up and picking out the most exciting-looking ones (the Tenebrux Morrow books, for instance, or Adventures on the Sea of Fallen Stars); a couple nights a week during their long rests he sits at the campfire and reads them out loud - ostensibly to the whole camp, but mostly to her.

The tradition continues after her engine gets its second repair and she could theoretically pick up the books on her own, because by that point she's fallen for him too and prefers hearing him read it out loud.

The rest of the team teases Hector about the whole thing, but he does notice that over time they also drift over to listen more and more often. Gale, Shadowheart, and Wyll love the stories right from the beginning, as does Minsc once he arrives. Astarion scoffs and pretends to stand aloof most of the time but Hector can tell he's deliberately still standing within earshot to listen. Lae'zel sits by the fire and listens with unblinking intensity that would be appropriate for a githyanki student at her studies, and Hector's never quite sure if she realizes the stories are fiction.

Jaheira and Halsin listen fondly from afar and think the whole thing is super cute.

Karlach - hc + 😡 for a headcanon about something that makes them angry

Karlach has had beef with a particular merchant (let's call him Keaton) in Baldur's Gate going back to her childhood; the merchant was rude to her dad once. Probably more often than that, actually, but Karlach witnessed it only once while helping her dad with his work and she has never forgiven Keaton for it.

Once she started working with Gortash, she learned among other things that Keaton was a general dick and a cheat in addition to having been a dick to her dad. So she would cause trouble for him whenever the opportunity arose, making use of her pull in Gortash's organization - not anything permanently harmful because she's not that sort of person, but she definitely arranged for Keaton's shipments to get delayed or mysteriously lost on more than one occasion.

On her return to the city in Act 3, she fully recognizes that they have far more important things to do, but she does tell Hector about it in passing, and Hector "just happens" to end up with Keaton's shop being one of the ones whose basement Hector loots. XD

Jaheira - hc + 📿 for a faith-themed headcanon

I think Jaheira has a complicated relationship with faith. She invokes Silvanus on a number of occasions, which makes sense given her history as a druid, but the Harpers are (I believe) more affiliated with Selune so she also has a connection there (and especially in my worldstate, because of her years spent with Rasaad also). And she has done so much traveling and adventuring that she has run up against many many different belief systems over the course of her life.

The end result, I think, is that she has a sort of unique personal religion, mixed and matched from traditions from various gods - primarily Silvanus and Selune, but also Oghma (from traveling with Caden and Imoen), the gnomish pantheon (from traveling with Aerie), and even some of the concepts of spirits of the land as espoused by Minsc.

I think she and Isobel end up having a lot of very interesting late night conversations on the subject, when neither of them can sleep and they're trying not to think about the dark wasteland around them. Jaheira discusses her complex experiences with various faiths, and Isobel tells her a lot about the experience of being actively raised in the Selunite faith as opposed to sort of picking it up by osmosis. And it ends up being their initial point of bonding after an initial period of mistrust right after Jaheira's arrival.

Rasaad - hc + 🔞 for a nsfw-headcanon

Hee. XD Ahem. Hmm. Let's see.

I sort of touched on this a bit in the smut ficlet I wrote of him and Jaheira a few weeks back, but I think Rasaad is a pretty rough, primal lover when he really lets himself go. One of the things I find really interesting about Rasaad as a character is that he has a lot of capacity for darkness and violence and very deliberately chooses peace and discipline instead.

(He has at least one interaction with Dorn il-Khan where Dorn comments that he can see Rasaad's internal rage after the battle with Alorgoth and encourages him to use it rather than hiding it away, which Rasaad rejects. Rasaad also speaks in his romance, in the scene leading up to him and the PC having sex for the first time, of having "restrained [his] baser urges for fear of alienating [the PC]". Which could just mean that he didn't want the PC to feel pressured, but also strongly suggests to me that he has the capacity to get very... intense. XD )

In my ship with him and Jaheira, I suspect he tries to hold himself back at first and be very gentle/careful, because he thinks that's what she would want (and, probably, thinks it's how Khalid treated her, but that's another headcanon XD ). But Jaheira picks up on the fact that he's holding himself back and it turns out she doesn't mind having her back blown out. >.> 😳 (She has her own subtle ferocity, after all.)

Khalid (!) - hc + 🌂 for a weather-themed headcanon

First real bit of writing I've done about Khalid in a while. <3 Let's see.

Jaheira mentions that the two of them were married "on an upturned cart in the rainy Dalelands". As of this moment, I choose to headcanon that it was more than rainy - it was an absolutely insane storm that washed out the roads in the whole area. They were actually on their way back to Baldur's Gate with the intention of being married in the city in a standard temple ceremony but the storm struck during their journey and stranded them en route.

Khalid insisted that they not wait for the route to reopen and instead conscripted a cleric from among the Harpers they were traveling with to perform the ceremony on the roadside instead. Overtly he insisted that this was simply because he couldn't wait a day longer to be her husband; the more subtle reason was that he'd realized during the journey that she wasn't really looking forward to being back in the city and that it would mean more to her to have the ceremony out in nature anyway.

Rakha - hc + 🧡 for a friendship-themed headcanon

Rakha and Barcus's friendship was incredibly unexpected by everyone, but the two of them get along remarkably well. Barcus enjoys talking about his work and Rakha enjoys anyone who wants to tell her things about the world; in this case, much of what Barcus teaches her about involves explosions, which is particularly interesting.

During downtime at Last Light, the two of them set up a little ballistics field down by the river (hah) just inside the moonlight shield and Barcus sets off a number of different small grenades he's concocted and excitedly explains the difference between each. Rakha listens incredibly seriously; she doesn't show any active excitement but anyone who knows her would recognize that it is, for her, considerable enthusiasm.

Jaheira and the Harpers do NOT enjoy the regular explosions happening so nearby but no one quite has the heart to tell them to stop.

Wyll - hc + 🌞 for a day-themed headcanon

This is such a broad category, rofl. Hm.

Wyll strikes me as an early riser. I think he often ends up joining Karlach on her early morning exercise jaunts or otherwise takes some time to himself before everyone else has woken up. It's an important part of his routine - and a carryover from his time as the child of a Flaming Fist officer; I don't think Ulder was much of a fan of his son sleeping in.

This is also a common time for Mizora to crawl into his head via the sending stone and demand updates, issue orders, or chastise him, so it is a bit of a mixed blessing of an experience. Ostensibly she does it at random, but he's noticed that she tends to specifically time it for moments when he's feeling particularly relaxed - watching a nice sunrise, for instance. He hates this about her but is grudgingly grateful that she at least does it mostly when he is alone.

In Rakha's worldstate where the two of them are together, Rakha tends to stay up late rather than get up early, because she wants to put off going to bed and dreaming for as long as possible. So Wyll spends some mornings just sitting up near her and watching her sleep, sometimes holding her hand.

See, what happened was, after graduation, Tierney got an invitation from Nicholas to go live in a tiny house village.

The houses are not really that tiny--starter home size, I'd say. But they are definitely small. They range from 1-3 bedrooms and 1-3 bathrooms. They're on a 40 x 40 lot laid out like so:

And, well, mistakes were made.

I gave each house its own private garden, which means that every time one of them goes to Tend Garden, they try to tend all the gardens. But I've had to lock the front doors of each tiny house against intrusions, because otherwise you get things like one of them wanting to watch someone else's television; so every time gardens are tended, I wind up with lots of routing complaints. I should've put one big community garden plot where I put the fishing pond.

I looked into the hassle factor of trying to make these apartments and decided it wasn't worth it. I'd just set everyone but Tierney and Nicholas to unselectable via MC!

BUT after watching two exhausted, dirty-diapered (despite being potty-trained!) toddlers scream their heads off at 1:25 a.m. while their ostensible parents did nothing--yeah, I'm too much of a control freak to leave them unselectable. I would never survive an ISBI challenge.

So now I'm playing seven Sims when I only really care about two of 'em.

It is really hard for me, with that many active Sims, to remember to stop and take screenshots.

I don't know how long this situation will last. For now, I'm sticking with it, despite the almost unbearable slowness. But that's why there haven't been many updates: Me and my bright ideas. 🙄

I’m someone who has not watches the show. I definitely had the initial aggressive reaction of Amazon is Evil don’t touch MY 2nd Age!!!😡

I decided to see if I changed my mind based on tumblr osmosis, and hold off on watching dependent on if I liked what I saw.

I personally liked what I saw of the dwarves and the Nùmenor designs and casting. Like I’d have enjoyed a beard on Disa but otherwise she looks awesome and I have no complaints whatsoever about how Nùmenor looks.

But I have a visceral (shallow and petty) negative reaction to Elrond, Gil-Galad, Finrod, and Celebrimbor’s faces. The “just some guy” complaint.

Is that racist and fascist? Like I know it’s nitpicky and petty, but I don’t want to buy into the toxic conservatism, you know?

hey friend, thanks for asking, always happy to discuss rop in good faith!! the casting of elrond, celebrimbor, and gil-galad is something i've seen a smattering of criticism about, so you're not alone. and i genuinely don't see disliking the casting as a problem (esp not related to anything racist/fashy since they're all white dudes playing white dudes lol!!) but honestly, i'd suggest watching the show and seeing their performances, since it'll give you a far better picture of who the characters are than just in still images/gifs.

i was not sold on robrond (robert elrond) for a long time, because i kinda thought he looked like peter pan--till the culmination of his storyline with durin. then i was 100% fucking SOLD because of the performance and chemistry. that made me reappraise the casting, which imho is GREAT for a young elrond still figuring out his place in the world. short hair and all—i feel like there's a distinct possibility we'll get long hair elrond in future seasons :)

similarly with celebrimbor. i know silm celebrimbor and popular fanon interpretation is very different from charles edwards celebrimbor. but over the course of the show, it was the charm and energy that won me over. and... i get the thirst now. i do. his energy is incredibly charismatic.

gil-galad unfortunately isn't a huge part of s1 (though it's confirmed he'll be more major moving forward--bear mccreary is also composing a gil-galad theme for the soundtrack already!!) not everyone has been convinced, but i'll be honest there is a s1 episode 8 moment that actually really endeared him to me and now i'm similarly sold!

i think it's totally fair to have that initial petty/shallow negative reaction if you don't think they look right for elves/don't think they're hot (sorry 2 the actors lol!!!!) because that's a pretty personal metric anyway. but watching onscreen is a very different experience from just seeing still images and gifs. you might be surprised--i certainly was (...i've written the elrond x durin fanfic i wanted to see in the world and i am now SUPER attracted to robrond. rip my life.) let me know what you think, i promise i'm happy to receive asks and messages and i'm not scary :D

😐Well it’s unfortunate that the US is out of the women’s World Cup this game to me looked way more like a team then they have this whole tournament. I had previously stated that if they continued to play the way they had the past three games Sweden would take them out. While Sweden didn’t do extremely well the US looked so much more like a team and that’s what makes me happy. I’m critical of any and all teams win or lose or draw because I’m well aware of players and teams and what they can do. I knew the US could do better than what they did even without Vlatko.

Unfortunately for the team it was a little too late in the tournament for them to look dominant (yes I know it was a close game). Before anyone comes at me about calls not being made for them, calls were also not made for Sweden. Hopefully Vlatko will be fired 😃but if he isn’t I really to hope the girls take initiative and do more team bonding when they get called up because all of them are extremely talented and can go far they just need to figure it out on the field and build chemistry with players they may not frequently play with. They may also need to just ignore vlatko 😒(like seriously if you know he’s being dumb just ignore him you really only need him for subs) and play the game the way they know how to (also Lindsey if we’re going to be captain just stay mad 😡 and act like they’re your children since angry you does better).

To Sophia i think you may want to ask for Katie McCabes arm day workout so that maybe you don’t keep getting yeeted off the ball 😬I love the shots but I’m not loving you finding the ground so frequently. To Rodman lovely job checking on an opponent, excellent job on the pitch. To Kristie, Lynn, Kelley I’m sorry that you all didn’t get enough time on the pitch but great job and hopefully we can see you for the Olympics and maybe one final WC for the three of you. • And yes, the word "Lugaw" is a type word for Asian porridge. So, let's dig in! 😋

• Here's my spoon scooping on two different toppings. The first is the sisig toppings, then next is the boiled egg! Yum-yum! 😋 The fusion dish is fantastic, at the same time, its a bit spicy thanks to the sisig's signature recipe! And the presentation look great on the bowl, I love it! 🥰 Have some, you two! Let's finish this bowl.😋

• Minutes later, we're all done! Thankfully, they offered us a manual service of drinking water to wash out our meal! 💧😊

Overall:

• It's a unique dish, on what could be otherwise, a normal porridge topped with sizzling meal that Filipinos/Filipinas know in love. Will I ordered it again? Absolutely! 😁 However, I want a try other menus that they offered from this lugawan (porridge) resto establishment. And my paper dolls completely agrees.😊

Structure is best for helping people be properly Independent/Autonomous/etc.

The whole point of structure is not to control and limit people…it’s to create processes that everyone agrees are best for whatever…school…business…etc we are concerned about.

It just feels like structure is either hardcore and miserable…

Or it’s entirely missing…

And then we wonder why people feel they can’t grow…

And we wonder why people become dependent on one another in a way that’s not healthy.

We do not want to be dependent on random humans no matter what they can do on their own.

So we want STRUCTURE.

But this STRUCTURE doesn’t need to be a force that strangles like humans we are dependent on tend to.

The plant stem is the STRUCTURE…

The humans are the fruit.

Something like that if we want a natural example.

You can’t be like, GROW! Do it on your own!

And there is no stem.

I feel like I’m explaining common sense to what was perhaps male dominated situations.

Tribal is the past, so I don’t ride on that train even if it’s easier. That’s what I call selling out…dumbing down…corruption…bureaucracy. The other option needs serious work.

I’ve got multiple situations in my life that are putting me on one side or the other of this discussion.

I’m disappointed w lack of support and development of my last class (structure-wise it looks like a teacher opened the website and farted and that’s about all the energy that was put into it) and it’s highly stressing me out. This is the same for my job title I currently have…and then I’m on the OTHER side of this when trying to get a family member to handle their own life.

Identifying skin types

This blog will be dedicated to beauty and health advice for actual humans. Please also note that not everything works for everyone and when it comes to skincare, trial and error is necessary to find what works for you. So don't just buy anything because an influencer or tiktok told you to. Don't spend money on things that aren't right for your skin. So without further adieu, let's get into the first part.

Okay first of all you need to know what skin type you have to choose the right routine and the right products otherwise you'll be looking like the walking dead the rest of your life!!😷

You can go to a salon or spa and ask them to check out your skin. Some places will do a free consult and some will ask you to pay for it because it is time spent at the end of the day. Please make sure they are qualified!!

And be honest with yourself and the therapist about your skin and skin history as this will be important when you treat the skin later. Here is a basic guide to identifying your skin type by yourself:

Let's start with Oily skin:

Oily skin is very tricky because you can be more than one skin type and this often throws people for a loop and they end up buying the wrong things. For eg. You can be oily on your t-zone and dry on the rest of your face.

So be careful when identifying oily skin as using oily skin products on dry skin can lead to more problems.

•Breakouts😡These often pop out of your skin because of a little thing called sebum(oil) which is caused by over active sebaceous glands (basically oil glands). However, breakouts can also be due to:

>Hormonal fluctuation

>Medication changes like birth control or cortizones

>Impaired or broken barrier (which is basically the protective PH layer of the skin but we'll get into that later.)

>Oily or dry skin being stripped of natural oils and overproducing oil to compensate.

>Dehydration

>Disease

>Stress

Do you see now how oily skin can easily be misdiagnosed?

•How to identify it?

If you have skin like an orange peel🍊(large open pores that look hard and shiny) then you probably have oily skin. Or try the tissue method a few seconds after washing your face. If the tissue sticks to areas or comes away with an oil stain then there's a good chance you have oily skin.

•Heat

Your skin will also feel warmer because of the sebaceous glands who overproduced oil so it creates vasolidation which causes more blood to go to the surface of your skin and heats it up. Your skin may also be darker in some areas or lighter in others especially with scars in darker or asian skin. Please note people with bad circulation won't always have warmer skin.

Now for dry skin:

This skin type often will know that they feel dry in certain areas. It also feels uncomfortable and tight (moisturise me😐) and overall it just looks like your skin is dead and dull.

•Flaking like old paint is a sure sign of dry skin or overuse of actives in the skin. But you also don't have pores most of the time because those little sebaceous glands are lazy and produce little to no oil so they are more constricted.😒

•Texture

You probably have a very rough and thin skin. Older people and people with eczema often suffer with dry skin.

•Cool

Lack of circulation often means your skin might be cooler than normal.

Now Dehydrated skin:

Not many people know about this but almost everyone suffers from dehydrated skin, so hydration is good for everyone and anyone.

Things that can dehydrate the skin are:

>Not drinking enough water

>Aircons, fans and heaters

>Lights. Any lights. Even your office lights and computer screens.

>The sun

>Ageing

>Impaired barrier

And before you tell me that dry and dehydrated is the same IT IS NOT!!

Dry skin has a lack of oil production and dehydrated skin has a lack of water, H2O.🌊 You good now? Okay next.

It is usually produces fine lines that look like cracks in a desert making your skin look like a rhino's. Your skin might even in severe cases, stay in place when you pinch it. Skin is often crepey looking as well and may feel tight like dry skin.

Now for Combination skin:

Remember how I said your skin could be a combination of two or more types?

Well basically this is that. Your skin can be almost any combination of oily to dry, oily to normal, dry to normal, dehydrated and oily, dehydrated and dry and even all three.

This would be best identified by a qualified therapist.

Lastly we have Normal skin:

This is probably the best skin type with the least amount of problems. Everything is balanced and the skin is usually free of any shine and flaking or issues. It's probably smooth to the touch and flawless. 😇 At least one of them knows how to behave.

In beauty there is always more to learn and many tips and tricks you can learn from different therapists. Many think beauty is a terrible industry but if you go to the right places you will find beautiful environments, safe spaces and friendly people who hold no judgement. Your therapist should never force you to buy product or not have a proper consultation with you before you start any routine or treatments. Find a place that suits your vibe and build a relationship of trust with your therapist.

Its a prestigious school on its own and the athletics are elite!

Your brother, Kei Tsukishima, opted to go to Karasuno

You and Kei were as close as siblings could be

I mean, sure you had your problems but like what siblings don't!

While attending school, you needed to find a club

That's where our lovely Goshiki comes in 🥰

See you and Goshiki had become fast friends

I mean he's a lovely boy so I can see why!

So when our bowl cut bby approached you and asked if you'd like to be the volleyballs team's manager, you instantly said yes!

You knew alot about volleyball from your brother's so you were a natural 💅🏼

You were efficient at all your tasks including taking notes, setting up, waterbottle duty

You name it, YN was superior at it!

That's how you came to befriend the third years

Semi, Reon, Tendou and Yamagata were naturally drawn to you

Honestly stunning and so freaking cute 😍

You have blonde hair like your bothers and gorgeous eyes

You had a natural laugh and all around joyful personality!

But there was one person you struggled with

Our stoic bird man, Ushijima Wakatoshi

He didn't much care if Shiratorizawa had a manager or not

Once you joined he saw the perks to having one

But it was your interactions with the team and sweet deminer that caught his eyes 👀

Let's put it out there, you instantly had a crush on the man ✋🏻 he's 6'3" ffs

I mean HELLOOOO!!!

The only problem is he didn't seem to pay much attention to you

He would occasionally give you a head nod or a "Thanks YN" but otherwise 🌠nothing🌠

However that doesn't mean he didn't like you YN

He's an observer by nature

He would observe how you helped the players, around school and everything

Mans was low key a stalker but like you'd never know ✋🏻

It wasn't until one day, when you were at your locker that Ushijima's feelings came out

You were grabbing what you needed for class, about to shut your locket when the swim captain approached

"Hey YN, what's up?"- swim captain man

"Uhh hey! Not much I'm just headed to class"- you

"Cool. I was wondering if maybe you'd be interested in going out with me this weekend?"- not as good of a captain as Ushiwaka man

"Umm- well-" you trying to find a way to get out of this

"Oh I didn't know Ushiwaka, my bad"- swim captain now making his exit

You just stare at Ushijima 👁👄👁

From that day forward, you and Ushijima were inseparable

Everyone just kind of knew you were together

Ushijima would give you a hug or a sweet forehead kiss that would just make your sides melt 😫

Ushiwaka and Tsukishima are like in a silent fight

But it's when Tsukishima finally blocks Ushiwaka, that the pettiness comes out 💅🏼

Inbetween, you are fixing water bottles and towels when Ushijima comes up behind you, spins you around and plants a huge kiss on you

"See you later YN"- Kei, waving to you as he walks away

"Come on YN the bus is waiting"- Ushijima grabbing your hand

Please Ushi, you are going to have to pull YN, they are too stunned to speak 😲

I guess it wasn't so bad after all 🙃
