I made a few new wax seal stamps out of clay (like the ones I did for my worldbuilding stuff forever ago), this time just of random symbols that I thought might look good done in the style of painting over the raised part of the wax or etc. :0c Some of them aren't carved deep enough to really show up that well, but overall they worked okay for being clay lol

I was imagining like a swirly night sky sort of looking thing so it would be a surreal contrast of a night #sky with a window in the middle that shows a daytime sky - but the silver and purple wax kind of mixed too much together #with the black and it just looks very plain black and not all that starry or anything hjbhj.. Of course the eye is probably my favorite #since all I ever do is draw eyes and still like eye imagery for some reason. The four leaf clover is very lumpy and skrunkty but also it wa #the smallest in size out of all of them so was easier to do multiple stamps of just to try it out.#The heart with eyes wax is actually more swirly in person. I wanted it to be a mix of light pink and red and white. and the wax #did kind of all blend together but in person you can definitely see MORE of the intentional swirlyness. in this it just looks plain pink.#I was going to do one eye in the heart but it looked weird. but now two seems too plain. i could have done 3?? in a pattern.. hmm #alas. I wish I could make actual metal ones. With the clay i have to paint them in a thin layer of olive oil before stamping because #otherwise the wax just kind of gets stuck in the grooves of the clay and then you can't pull it up. Very wacky ''unprofessional'' looking #set up where I'm hot gluing circles of sculpey clay to short stumps of a wooden dowel that I sawed apart with a serrated bread knife #and then using an old paintbrush to put olive oil on them whilst holding a spoon over a yankee candle flame hjbjh #ANYWAY.. I think if I were middle class/rich/etc. this would be one of the main things in my crafting room is like.. SO many colors #of wax. and all different custom made stamps designed by me. which could be much more elaborate in actual metal.. muahaha.... >:)c #RHGghhh... I actually don't want to talk much about it since (this is probably just my Obsessed With My Own World Artist Delusions) I #think I have a really cool idea for a game that could genuinely be successful if i ever get to make it and I don't want to give #everything away and spoil the whole plot/concept in hopes that one day I can actually do it - BUT - a game that I'd like to make after the #visual novel I'm making now has partially to do with the main character working as a sort of writer/scribe/artist assistant in an elven #city (set in my world/with my worldbuilding species and versions of elves and etc) and I was thinking of maybe incorporating #somehow being able to collect little writing type items like these like.. you can get different wax seal patterns or pens or etc. when I do #stuff like this in Real Life it always makes me think of that like.. ouh... this is good research.. what it shall be like to be a littol #elf collecting wax seals and such.. indeed... I love the idea that, whenever a Cybertronian space-faring vessel lands or docks within a predominantly non-Cybertronian space station or port, that it's required that they either confirm or deny whether their vessel is sentient or not before being permitted to land.

1. For proper accommodation and clarification, along with the chance for communication between the vessel and crews working the station/port.

2. Because there has been... incidents... incidents that have led to the requirement of the above reasons.

#an irate dreadnought with a brain and very big feelings could wreak all sorts of havoc on an unprepared station unfortunately #also. itd be a bit shocking to be just some guy working the fuel station. idly complimenting a shiny cruiser only for it to say 'thanks <3'#transformers #maccadam #tf idw #tf worldbuilding #???#i mean. yeah. its technically world building. we dont see much of that kinda stuff #but im sure as hell thinking about it rn #i love wacky sci fi worldbuilding. theres not enough of it on a broader galactic scale in tf sometimes #like. they mention other aliens and hubs in a few continuities i think. but then they only do so much with it #outside of crossovers ig #idk. i just like thinking of how beings other than humans perceive cybertronians and the colonists #like. they're new to humans. usually. but theyve had other alien neighbors for millions of years #transformers surely are quite talked about on a broader galactic scale. and obv taken into consideration either for good or bad #they're nigh immortal. they're constantly fighting each other and dying. they're peacekeepers. they're warlords. they're big. they're small #they're fucking weird. and somehow end up all over the place #they hate your kind. they love your kind. they think you're disgusting. they're offering to be your car #how many citizens of their galaxy nervously attempt to politely ask a vehicle if its alive or not on a daily bases in popular hubs/stations #its so funny to me #also. thinking about fic stuff relating to idw1. and like. all the background aliens and their factions fascinate me a bit. its fun inspo #mtmte #lost light #nearly forgot those. since other aliens and factions are featured in them a bit #slowly getting through robots in disguise rn. and all the nail stuff got me thinking about neutrals finding homes amongst other aliens #also like. some of the darker stuff thats mentioned about cybertronians being sold or indentured. like. hows that viewed broadly?

Anyways au where Monika and friends discover her admin powers but dont know about the wider context of what it means. So they just go around thinking Monika has magic and try practicing with a bunch of silly fun shenanigans because they figure it’s some chosen one bloodline stuff and not like. A product of their reality being a constricted digital science experiment.

This au will not end well

#yeah she probably needs the epiphany to consciously use it but hypothetical aus are fun and the angst potential it plentiful #the beauty of this au is that it contains potential for both wacky slice of life escapades and soul crushing angst #they’re like doing a dumb 3am ghost summoning ritual and Monika accidentally does some admin stuff and they’re like ‘woah your magic’#and they research a bunch of other dumb stupid rituals and nearly set the carpet on fire #they like try to rob a bank or cheat on a test and nearly delete half a building #and then at some point Monika suddenly extends her admin powers too far and acts real despondent for no reason #because she ends up epiphany beaming herself and is even more conflicted than base game because she grows so much more connected to the club #it’s even worse because they were her whole world and she knows so much she sees how human they are but they just aren’t apparently?????#and while she can’t pull a base game and kill everyone for a nonexistent player she still goes through so much angst and like #the girls notice and want to help but don’t know how because she won’t tell anyone and she keeps avoiding them and like aauughhh #it would probably end with Monika doing something drastic and trying to reach out for anyone out there who understands #and idk maybe she’ll find base game Monika post act 4 and she’s like ‘what the heck why did you abandon your friends don’t to what I did???’#and maybe she could fix her mistakes???? maybe not??????? whatever’s narratively fulfilling #shoot this was supposed to be a short post for a silly au what have I done #this feels like the plot of a kids tv show where the plot randomly gets really dark on its fifth season #also realizing al lot of the same plot points happen in my fantasy au so I really gotta get to that too #ddlc #doki doki literature club #tempestmothtalk

Every once in a while I think about the ship I've been obsessed over for close to two years now and feel like I'm ascending to another plane of reality. Like sometimes you just encounter a ship that hits every single mark and is perfect in every regard and you're left stunned how something like that can even exist

#Anyways I'mma put the actual inane ramblings in the tags #Medic and Engie make me so ill every time I think about them for a while I feel like tearing into things and biting people and throwing up #How something like that can exist completely defies me #I don't know how something that perfect can exist #I'm typically a multi-shipper and while I still kinda am I honest to god don't really care to write other ships #Not cause they ain't good (they are pretty damn good) but because Engiemedic is just on another level #Like dammnnn!! that's why I've spent so long writing a fic about them!#I can't fathom it honestly how characters like that can exist #They're like a slightly warped reflection of themselves #They're both intelligent mentally ill lunatics with no morals whatsoever #The only thing is that Engie is marginally better at hiding it #If you go into headcanon territory than WHOO!! OHH DAMNNN #Like what gets me the most about Engiemedic is how they're so similar #They think and exist on the same wavelength #In tune with each other. Their neurons braided like wires #If I start talking about how the machine and the flesh are not opposites but rather one in the same we gonna be here all day #I just can't...believe the ship exists #Like man how does this happen #You want humour? Goofy wacky experiments and silliness of them violating several conventions #You want angst? Hell yeah they've got plenty of it #Fluff? Buddy I start wailing and sobbing if they accidentally brush hands while working on stuff #I could write about them for ages and not get bored they can fit in every circumstance #They make me SICK they make me CRAZY I love them so so much #They would do anything for each other #I look at what they have and I can feel like I understand what love is #I need to write more oneshots and minifics about them they're so flexiable and fun #Can't wait to do parallels with them in these upcoming chapters #Either way GODDDDD I love these two so much I could go on for hours about them #especially if I'm allowed to talk about headcanons #sp-rambles

Not to brag, but the two prettiest tattoo artists in town think I'm cool and have cool tattoo ideas and aren't at all off-put by my weird tism talk and we're like aquatinted but not friends because they're also weird and probably a little autistic and were clearly girls who were bullied in grade school but ended up being baddies as adults but that trauma of being ostracized never left them so neither they nor I know how to be like, "Hey let's be friends!"

#tbh tattoo artists can be some of the coolest most open minded people #or they're total dickbags #but most are chill as fuck #kinda the same vibe as sex shop employees. they're just vibing (heh) and aren't there to judge unless you're a prick.#i get along with tattoo people most of the time. better than i do other random people i encounter.#the last time i got tattooed we just talked about killing the rich for 3 hours #i didn't talk yesterday because i was too focused on not kicking while having my fucking kneecap stabbed #but any time i see that artist we'll talk about some wacky ass shit #the other pretty tattoo lady will just sit there making beep boop sounds and shit that sounds like waluigi or some shit #and occasionally how she wishes people were more like dogs because dogs are cool and people suck #they also both have grown emo kid energy and as a grown emo i vibe with that shit #we just listened to like adtr and linkin park and shit yesterday #i hate getting a tattoo and they're listening to chill music #i feel like you have to have something emotional or fast paced or the tattoo vibe is off #real tattoo shops only play rock rap or edm/techno #if i go into a shop and they're playing adelle or mumford and sons i know it's gonna be a weird day #maybe shit like lady gaga gets a pass. that like fast paced kinda pop stuff.#i feel like a bpm under 100 doesn't work.

really resonating with my gender just being “thing” lately tbh. boyish thing if we’re getting more specific. girlypop boy thing even. vaguely trans masc adjacent guy thing. idk! over my brain pushing me into a binary and just vibing with where i’m at in my transition and not needing to force myself into a box to feel accepted by the people close to me in my life that actually matter

#with cis ppl i don’t know/who don’t get gender stuff it’s different like i’d rather they see me as a Man than my agab #but with friends and in circles with other gender diverse ppl i’m over pushing myself to fit more of a binary!!#being on t definitely has helped tackle dysphoria and feel more comfortable in myself and i definitely wanna keep up with my hrt journey #the longer i’m on t the more comfortable i feel in my gender but the more i realise i’m not a man #wacky!!#i got my own diy gender and i’m really feeling it

Finished Act 2! My final verdict is: It felt like some of the songs were missing their energy, but overall it was very very good, especially the voice actors themselves, who were incredible at conveying emotion

#wacky watermelons #the most interesting thing is that it seems to be more in line with other aa musicals than its predecessors #in terms of staying true the the games.#the original turnabout musical seemed to try to be as faithful as possible to the games #where as taaam (much like official aa musicals) steps outside of the timeline just a little #becoming something of its own. more than just a musical of the silly lawyer game #also man. whatever the fuck was happening with wright and edgeworth at the end was so fuckin. you know.#its good. especially the end.#i hope this isn't the last turnabout musical thing that happens. i do hope we get a physical musical version sometime in the future

Also, in case anyone hasn't heard this story, a gay employee quietly implemented same-sex romantic interactions into the first The Sims game before it was shown to the public, and reportedly, a spontaneous kiss between two female Sims during a public stage demonstration pretty much cemented the fact that the game was going to feature gay content.

this sims 2 ad has like such deep gay energy to it. Like this feels like queer history to me

#kinda sucks that the sims 4 is so like. anodyne and anti anything interesting in life though? esp. given how daring the first several were #like yeah you can get gay married. and there are some rad gender options i sorely wish they had in the sims 2/3. but you can't go anywhere #and they took a lot of the humor out of the game too. it's like silly and sterile rather than wacky and occasionally grim #anyway yeah like. the sims has always been a trailblazer in video games - both for women in gaming and for lgbtqia+ rights #really hoping project rene or life by you or paralives is good #because i really want to recapture the magic of playing the sims 1/2/3 for the first time but the actual games are often painful to play #like i downloaded ts1 complete for s&g's and to try simitone but i don't remember it actually being that good by modern standards #ts2 has an annoying lack of body diversity (less so than ts1 but still) and a lot of other annoying limitations and generally feels crusty #ts3 is cool but kind of A Lot. plus it runs slow but that's less of an issue for me personally. (might merge all my hair cc)#also i am kinda dissatisfied with all current ts3 neighborhoods #my favorite is the custom hood bridgewood but it annoys me that the sun's the wrong way. but fixing this would require totally remaking it #i might do that? but that's too gigantic a project for me to undertake right now #i started looking at doing some hex editing and s3pe hackery to basically just turn the whole thing around but. yeah #the sims #representation #the sims 2 #media #video games #gaming
