Happy 23rd Anniversary to Kingdom Hearts and HAPPY BIRTHDAY SORA━☆ﾟ.*

This series means so much to me and to show that.....I drew 50 Soras + the Heart Hotel peeps and my wrist hates me XD

Like seriously, I kept on finding Soras to add onto the already BEEG army and it kept going and going from the costumes, to creative liberty, to the more obscure ones.

So much passion went into this because KH is just a series that's near and dear to my heart, and Sora is without a doubt one of my favorite characters of all time~♡

And now that this little project is done, all I have to say is.....DONT LET THIS MAJORLY FLOP OK, I WORKED TOO HARD TO MAKE THIS DARN THING (jkjkjkjk just pls look at it at least, u can look at it better on my tumblr if ya want XD)

An unexpected side effect of briefly allowing my professional mask to slip and sharing my feelings about writing YA without romance etc has been the number of people who have shared in the tags that they read and enjoyed my books. People who don't follow me, who'd never posted about it, whom I had no idea existed. They were there all along and I didn't know.

By that I don't mean to suggest that they should have followed me or posted about it. Just that it is so easy, as an author, to focus on the criticism and negativity and disappointment that you receive (or the lack of positive hype/reviews/posts) when, out of sight, there are dozens of people who felt seen by your book, and never said so out loud. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not there. Which made me realise, also, that there are dozens of books that have spoken to me that I've never posted about, and those authors also have no idea that their work meant something to me.

There are many authors whose books I enjoy whom I will deliberately never follow or interact with on social media because I don't want to have that kind of relationship with them. That's fine and often healthy. But we don't live in a world where authors are receiving zero feedback from readers, and very often, it's the people who didn't like it who will go out of their way to tell people that, while the ones who did keep their cards close to their chest. And that kinda sucks all round.

So, to readers: if there's a book that you like, and that made you feel seen -- any book, I mean, not necessarily mine, this isn't a self-promo post -- consider leaving a review somewhere that says that, or posting it on social media, or, if the option's there and it feels comfortable and appropriate, telling the author. You don't have to stick around, or follow them, or become their greatest cheerleader -- but a one-line message or review saying their book meant something to you might be exactly what they needed to get through the week. Because there's a strong chance that they have no idea.

all proceeds for these will be donated to equality florida! i am sure many of you are aware now there's been some horrifying anti-trans legislation all over the US this year, particularly in florida. i moved here almost 7 years ago to make a home for myself and the people i met here gave me that, and now so many of those same people are losing their healthcare and their right to exist in public. a lot of people have left. a lot of people can't leave.

equalityfl has been doing really great work throughout all this, showing up at the capitol for every hearing and fighting on the front lines every day. i'm hoping that by supporting their work i can do a little bit to protect my trans loved ones here. so !! if you'd like to join me in that !!! and also get a cute little cat pin out of it that i made with love !!! here u are !!!

I've noticed a surge in accounts who are solely reposts of other artists work from different sites across the internet.

Some do credit while others don't.

I'd like to truly know if those who do credit have taken note if the artists allow reposts or not?

Furthermore, sourcing the artists name but then linking it back to Pinterest isn't the same.

Folks need to learn proper sourcing art ettique and stop reposting art.
