i was thinking how in npmd, in act two the blame for max becoming a ghost is placed fully onto steph’s shoulders. it used to strike me as odd because grace is the one that came up with the plan that led to max dying, not steph, she has as much blame as the nerds do. yet she’s the one that “created a literal monster” according to her dad. she’s fucking judas according to max. but it’s just another case where it doesn’t matter what’s actually true or what the audience sees, what matters is how max sees it.

he died having no idea that grace orchestrated the whole thing. she’s more judas than steph is. but since steph is the one that invited him, she gets the blame. and, to max, i don’t think he sees the invite as her first real betrayal. her first betrayal is inviting pete to pasquallis

steph is allowed to be one of the few that benefit from max’s control, she also had no idea he was such a bully. she got to skate by in ignorance. but she still went against his order and invited a nerd, someone beneath her, directly into his turf. max was able to make pete regret that decision and put him back in line. but, just from pete saying steph invited him, jason immediately accepted that was an okay thing to do. a thing that directly threatens and undermines max’s control. when you watch the scene, you can see that max gets aggressive only after jason accepts pete being there as okay. max can already feel his godhood slipping just from steph stepping one foot out of line.

that’s why max could turn so quickly against her when he fell and as a ghost, because she was already on thin ice when she invited him to waylon hall. in max’s insane eyes, why wouldn’t he blame steph?

saikis powers are a vital part of him so it makes sense that people who dont know about them cant truly understand his whole self, but its also very silly to me when people act like its the ONLY important part of him... people act like his friends that arent in the know are completely blind to who saiki is, but i feel like that kinda means you missed some major points... he cant keep his powers a secret forever and it DOES matter, but he can still be loved and KNOWN without knowing about them... hes still human, he still has a personality, he still has regular likes and dislikes, etcetc

his friends perspectives on him may have been wrong at first, but they CHANGED... they know him and love him, and theyll KEEP loving him the SAME once they know of his powers...

​some people cough cough cough in this fandom like to reduce saiki to JUST his powers and its so obvious that you just. missed everything. you didnt absorb anything from the show, you just saw it and went "ha, everyone thinks hes just a guy when hes actually super cool and powerful" no no no, he IS cool and powerful but look a little closer and at his core he is still LITERALLY JUST A GUY 😭😭😭

Thinking about zosan where they butt heads during the day, shoes to blades, scalding words, scathing glares. while none of it holds any real weight, they still play up this grand facade of hating each other, swearing by the stars they can’t stand to be in the same room.

but when night falls, those same stars pay witness to how zoro lingers in the galley as sanji cleans up after dinner, dozing off to the gentle clinks of washed plates. they see how sanji climbs up to the crow’s nest long after everyone has fallen asleep, with blankets and a bottle of zoro’s favorite sake in tow.

they see how zoro ambles into the men’s quarters after night watch and clambers into his hammock, bumping not-so-subtly into sanji’s. they see how sanji gently rouses at the movement, and when zoro’s settled, his breathing even, he slides out of his own bed and climbs in with him. he nudges him over, zoro huffing with childish and weightless petulance as he shifts to give sanji the space to curl into his side. they stay like that for however long the darkness of night lasts, sanji’s head on zoro’s chest and zoro’s arm around him, tucked close into each other, warm under the blankets and briefly, blissfully impervious.

and when the sun rises, chasing away the stars and their secrets, they part and do it all over again.

he's got a bit of a reputation as a flirt and he seems to date girls a little too casually, though he's always a gentleman about it (very single minded)... except when it comes to you. for some reason, when satoru is around you, flirtation turns into outright seduction and he is anything but a gentleman. the worst of it is that you pretty much let him do whatever he wants with you.

you're a sweet girl with good grades and a good head on your shoulders. a virgin when you met him, though that's long since down the drain, and your impression to most other people is that you're somewhat straight laced. depsite being so sweet... you're a little slutty. just a little. you can't really help it. you like when satoru whispers in your ear about what he wants to do to you, even in public. you like when he stands just a little too close, when he pats your ass when no one is looking. you like the way heat builds on your face. it's embarrassing, but it's good.

so, you're just a little slutty when it comes to him. you don't want to be, but you can't help it and satoru seems to like that you'll let him feel you up in stairwells if he asks, that you're so malleable when it comes to him. you'll let him do anything because you like the fact that he wants to do it at all.

sometimes, satoru looks at you like he wants to eat you, like you're a meal. he's so single minded, so focused only on you, but the worry never leaves your head that he thinks you're easy. you let him kiss you when he asks, feel you up when he asks, spread your legs and stick his tongue between your thighs when he asks. you're not an easy girl, it's just that satoru does something to you. you can't really resist it.

of course, the flip side of this coin—the side you can't see—is that while satoru may be a flirt, he doesn't sleep around. for some reason, call it hunger, he just can't seem to keep it in his pants when he's around you.

okay i need to yap about this rn and i feel like you'll understand miss pomme. it actually hurts me how pure caleb's love is and how selfless he can be. he started loving and protecting mc when he didn't even know what those words meant. he was just a little kid and he asked for nothing in return. he spent years looking out for her, searching for her in every crowd and not once did he put himself first. it's almost as if it's an instinct for him. i love him so much :( i want him to be happy in every lifetime he gets to experience with mc. ok bai

i think about this a lot!! i enjoy yandere caleb stuff, and i think the darker content is enjoyable to read — but personally? i think if you genuinely did not want him in your life, he'd disappear, as long as he knew you were safe. he never really allowed himself to feel selfish or to require your love, always satisfied with being by your side without you necessarily reciprocating it.

sometimes, i wonder if he ever resented the life he was condemned to. i don't think anyone would blame him if he did. it always breaks my heart just how much love he holds in his heart, and whenever i see his freckles and how bright his eyes shine, it makes me super emotional. caleb had to grow so fast, and he never had a moment's respite — always on edge and constantly fighting to stay alive. his relationship with josephine wasn't a good one too. he remembers all of the experimentations, yet lives with one of the perpetrators, just so he can stay and care for mc.

what drives me even more nuts? the way he always looked up to the sky and dreamed of freedom, and how mc was always included in his vision of freedom. he went to the DAA hoping to learn how to fly, how to be able to feel free and his motivation was always mc. his worth is always associated with mc, and even in his weakest moments, where he should care for himself, where he should feel hurt, his mind never allows him to.

in the new world underneath story, you find out that he limited the radius of the explosion with his evol in order to shield mc — which is why he was significantly more injured than he should have been. he would much rather die than encounter the possibility of mc getting hurt. in such a stressful moment, where he surely could only feel pain from the flames and the debris, where he should have cared for himself, his mind was only on mc. and when he lost his arm? the only thing he mourned was the ability to feel mc's warmth.

you know what gets me about this too? if he was offered the chance to do it all over again, he would. in a heartbeat, without even hesitating for a bit. in every scenario, in every dream of his, mc is there. his love is too big for his body, and he would much rather be miserable and know that mc is okay, than be okay without knowing if mc is. every single time he is given the opportunity to be selfish, he decides to be selfless.

i really hope we get a card where he's genuinely happy, and we see him act a bit more selfish. i want caleb to be greedier, to demand love, demand affection, demand care. i want him to put his desires first, and most of all, i want him to smile without worry. he deserves so much and i really hope that we get to see him live his childhood freedom dreams without a care in the world. need the world to give caleb his wings back!!
