Adult Emma and Vixen:

Emma randomly arranges dates for Vixen and Barnaby to visit the dragon sanctuary, and always tells Charlie at the last minute. She also tells him that he better be on his best behavior.

Sometimes Vixen will just drop by unnanounced just to visit Emma. It never bothers Emma, but Charlie has a fuss about it, and Emma and Vixen tell him to get over it. “What the hell, Vixen? I could’ve been naked and you would’ve just apparated in our living room!” “Well, in that case I’d ask why you’re naked in the living room and what the hell you and Emma were doing.”

Emma and Vixen are always getting together with their kids and taking them out to Diagon Alley.

They definitely have morning coffee and breakfast together and talk about their husbands being absolute numbskulls at times.

I could see them opening up some kind of shop together, for what I have no idea though😂

They’re still just as chaotic as they were in their Hogwarts years. Merlin help anyone who tries to fight the both of them in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Have you ever thought about how weird it must be seeing Barnaby Vixen Emma and Charlie together? Like two muscular dudes with friendly smiles accompanied by two short (ish) redhead women who look friendly enough but give off a sort of edgy vibe sometimes. Like Charlie Emma and Vixen look related and then there is Barnaby. I'm sorry, this is weird, but I just wanted to share my thoughts about them with you.

The thought has crossed my mind, honestly!

Emma, Charlie, and Vixen do look like they could be somehow related because they all have fair skin and red hair, but other than that there’s not really many more similarities that can easily be picked out.

Poor Barnaby though, the odd one out🥺 all four of them definitely give off friendly vibes and energy, though Emma and Vixen do give off a bit more edgy/chaotic energy than the guys do.

But yeah I can see how upon first glance a lot of people would be like “wait what?? Why is Barnaby hanging out with three redheads??” and then like a bunch of First Years or total strangers are surprised to learn that Emma, Charlie, and Vixen aren’t at all related to each other and that Emma is dating Charlie and Vixen is dating Barnaby.

I haven’t really properly thought any out, but I’ll give it a go!

Also, I can’t remember if we’ve ever established Rhia and Vixen as friends for sure, but her profile is here if you’d like to give it a look and decide if they’d be friends or not!☺️

Willa and Vixen:

Vixen is close with both Willa and her younger sister, Bridget, so Willa sees Vixen as a little sister.

Willa isn’t near as chaotic as Vixen, but she loves seeing Vixen’s chaotic antics.

Even though Willa becomes Head Girl in her Seventh Year, she’s not as tough on Vixen as she would be with other trouble-makers. She more or less applaudes Vixen for her work and turns a blind eye to the issue.

Willa doesn’t like it when Bridget tries to learn pranks from Vixen. Bridget’s supposed to be the sweet, caring, do-no-wrong one of the bunch.

Whether or not Vixen notices, Willa’s always looking out for her. Something as harmless as Vixen trying to set up a prank in the corridor but there’s a group of Gryffindor Prefects and a few teachers talking to each other? Willa either distracts everyone long enough for Vixen to set up her plan and get out of there, or she’ll find a way to get everyone out of the corridor, or even if it’s something more serious like Vixen being surrounded by acromantulas without her wand, Willa’s there for her. Though Bill isn’t far behind Willa because he wouldn’t let Willa face acromantulas alone.

A lot of Willa convincing Bill let Vixen slide and not take points from Gryffindor for her antics. It always works.

It takes Vixen a while to admit it, but she thinks that Willa and Bill are actually, in her words to Willa, “kinda cute together, even if Bill follows you like a lost puppy sometimes”. Willa knows the truth though.

Willa is one of the many people that tries to convince Vixen that Barnaby likes her.

Bridget and Vixen:

Vixen is like a second big sister to Bridget.

Sometimes, Bridget will try to get Vixen on the path of righteousness (it never works).

Bridget would never admit it, but sometimes she thinks Vixen is cooler than Willa because she’s no where near as strict.

In arguments over what’s best for Bridget, it’s always Bridget and Vixen against Willa. Willa eventually gives up and lets Bridget figure it out.

Aside from Willa, Vixen is a role model to Bridget.

Bridget tries to be Vixen’s voice of reason. It doesn’t work 80% of the time.

Headcanon that (assuming the boys stairs turn into a slide if girls step on it like the other way around) Emma and Vixen sometimes will wait until one of the boys is going up to his dorm, run up, jump on the stairs and run off so they cant get into the dorm. Just to mess with them

They’d definitely do it to Charlie more than everyone else though, but Emma knows how to handle Charlie being a fuss-pot about it. He just can’t stay mad at her.

I feel like Vixen would find a way to sneak into the Slytherin house just to do it to Barnaby too, and then run back and tell Emma all about it😂

Alright so I may or may not be writing a fic and I would like to know what Emma and Willa/Bridget's reactions would be when Vixen is pulled out of class in third year and told her parents were murdered by death eaters. More specifically like how they would help when she is grieving? I'm sorry if this is weird I just would like the info haha

Emma, I think, being the closest to Vixen most likely, would be more apt to give Vixen her space about it, because she knows that Vixen is very resilient and she’ll bounce back, but would constantly reassure Vixen that she’s there for her, no matter what, day or night, time or place. Emma’s always there if Vixen needs a hug, or a quick pick-me-up trip to Honeydukes or Zonko’s. When Emma finds out the news, she’s first shocked, but then she’s appalled by the outright cowardice of the death eaters to target Vixen’s parents in such a manner. She’s even willing to fight them personally.

Willa would be more “big sister” esque about it, constantly checking in on Vixen, making sure she’s okay, asking if she needs anything, offering to get some homework done for her, collecting assignments from professors that she’s missed, things like that. Willa would always be around if Vixen needed a hug or a shoulder to cry on. Willa would be shocked to hear the news, but she’d be very sympathetic with Vixen, trying to help her sort out her feelings over the issue and help keep her from doing anything irrational.

Bridget, being the biggest sweetheart of the three, would constantly be offering Vixen sweets to cheer her up. She would also worry for Vixen’s own well-being, and much like Willa she would consistently check in with Vixen to see if she’s doing okay. When Bridget finds out the news, she’s immediately saddened, and pulls Vixen into the biggest bear hug that her little body can muster up the strength for, and lets Vixen know that whatever she needs, she’s there for her.

Usually, complete pandemonium. Rarely does everything go according to plan with this group. But it’s still cute as heck.

Usually it’s just the four of them going to the creature reserve and looking after the creatures.

The one time they actually try to plan a semi-fancy date with a dinner near the creature reserve, it goes into complete chaos. Emma and Vixen can’t find anything to wear, Charlie and Barnaby can’t figure out how to dress for the occasion. Then, they discover that everything was ruined by a rogue Hippogriff. They just shrugged it off and went to the lake instead.

Emma and Vixen always help each other get ready. Sometimes they take forever and the guys complain, they just get told to shut it and that they don’t have to go through the struggle.

Sometimes they’ll all go to Hogsmeade, have a few butterbeers (firewhisky, when they’re of age), or go to Honeydukes, sometimes they’ll stop by Madam Puddifoot’s for some tea. It all just depends on everyone’s mood. The firewhisky dates always end in a drunken Emma throwing her arm over Vixen’s shoulder, loudly proclaiming that Vixen’s “my sister and if anything happened to her, I’d kill everyone in this room and then myself.”

Sometimes, they sneak into Knockturn Alley, Barnaby’s not totally on board at first, but then he gets excited at the thought of possibly getting to punch something. Charlie just wants to illegally buy a dragon egg. Emma and Vixen do it just for the hell of it.

It’s always an adventure with the four of them, definitely stories they’ll tell their kids one day.

I haven’t really been able to sit down and properly think about headcanons for them (college and covid can suck it in my opinion😂) but I’ve got a few!

They’re very chaotic, powerful women. Once they set their mind to do something, nothing can stop them.

Being dorm mates, they end up sharing a lot of secrets with each other from stuff they’ve heard in the corridors to their “secret” crushes. They both trust each other to no end with their secrets. This, in turn, causes them to be very close to each other.

They’re the female Fred and George before Fred and George ever even thought about coming to Hogwarts. Once the boys are there though, more chaos ensues and they end up challenging Emma and Vixen to a prank war. The girls win, because they’ve had years of experience.

Sometimes they act so much alike and have similar appearances that they’ve been confused for sisters, and have had to correct nearly half of the student body (mostly first years) on the issue.

Occasionally, if they aren’t causing mass chaos, they’ll have a study group together with Charlie and Barnaby. It never ends well, Barnaby asks a billion questions and Charlie goes on and on about dragons, so there’s no actual studying happening.

They work really well together, and would never turn on each other. During Hagrid and Kettleburn’s All-Wizard Tournament, they team up and help each other out until the very end of it, on a technicality, neither of them won because they ended up tying for first place, but they each insist that the other won the tournament.

Since Emma has no biological sisters, she sees Vixen as a sister. Emma and Charlie’s kids definitely call her “Aunt Vixen” and the two oldest, Eli and Charly, thought that Vixen was actually Emma’s sister until they were about five years old.

So I read a good bit of Vixen’s profile, and I’ve got to say, I saw a good amount of similarities between her and Emma!

If you’d like Vixen to be close friends with Emma, just let me know!

Also Vixen having dated Charlie from 4th-6th Year does make this a little tricky, as Emma starts dating Charlie in early 5th Year and ends up marrying him after her breakup with Talbott, but we’ll manage!

They both have the same energy level, so activities like quidditch matches and friendlies don’t tire them out as much as it does others.

Chaos? Emma can match with Vixen’s chaos level, as they share a mutual friend in Tonks.

After Emma and Talbott’s breakup, Vixen would most likely help comfort the both of them, as she’s very close with Talbott but she also understands what Emma’s having to deal with.

Emma and Vixen share a feisty attitude, and are always ready to defend themselves or their friends; if someone messes with a mutual friend of theirs, they’re immediately on the case.

While Emma does have a small fear of spiders, she doesn’t find Vixen’s tarantula, Satan, scary at all. In fact, she thinks it’s humorous that Vixen named the spider Satan.

Being in Gryffindor, Emma and Vixen would most likely be dormmates, and eventually confide in each other.

I really wanna say that it could be either or with Emma and Vixen, but the tiny voice in the back of my head says that they’re definitely “dumber together, smarter apart”😂 but I do believe it could go either way with them, like together they could have a stroke of genius, or they could have the dumbest idea ever, it just depends on the day.

I think all of their kids would be pretty close, for sure Emma and Vixen’s kids are super close to each other. They’d be makeshift cousins and would definitely call Vixen “Aunt Vixen” or Emma “Aunt Emma”. They’d also definitely cry when they found out Vixen and Emma aren’t even related at all.

Willa, Ivy, and Bridget’s kids would be close, I think. When they’re young, they’d definitely think that Willa and Ivy are the sisters, just because of how similar they look, and not Willa and Bridget. I think Ivy would be the one to more gently explain to to them though so they wouldn’t cry about it. They’d still cry a little bit, but they’ll quickly bounce back from it.

How do you think Emma and Vixens relationship panned out when Charlie and Vixen were together I think (might be wrong) that you said Emma was crushing in him for awhile so do you think that would affect their friendship at all?

Well Emma always had a crush on Charlie since early/mid fourth year, despite briefly dating Talbott. She began officially dating Charlie in early 5th Year, though before then during the end of 4th Year, they went on a lot of “dates”, and that’s when they both started to like each other more.

I don’t think it would affect Emma and Vixen’s friendship too much, since neither of them really seem like they’d be the type to get mad at each other over a boy, they’re both strong independent females who never need a man. So, honestly I think they’d be understanding with each other and supportive.

And the only people who can really tell that Emma has a crush on Charlie are Ryan O’Donnell ( @unfortunate-arrow’s mc) and Bill, so other than that it’s not really obvious to anyone else.

They both do. Emma’s a little more sneaky about it, but Vixen will just brazenly take a handful and not give a damn about it. They both laugh about Vixen’s bold nature.

I like to think they both do, and they both start laughing about it while the person who asked just stares at them with no idea what’s going on.

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail?

Oh, they’re definitely in jail together. They have to call either Charlie or Barnaby to come bail them out. And no matter which one bails them out, they always ask what they did to end up there followed, up by a million other questions.

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues?

Emma is the one to usually give advice, even though it isn’t exactly the best sometimes.

Vixen: “could he like me? Is it really possible?”

Emma: “well, yeah of course it’s possi-”

Vixen: “I don’t know how I feel about this.”

Emma, jokingly: “...have you tried eating some pumpkin pasties? I hear they help with emotional issues.”

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes?

At board games, Emma can cheat and get away with it, only because that’s how she grew up playing them with her brothers. Any other games, it’s more or less the both of them distracting each other.

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk?

Neither of them. They just look at each other and nod, then race each other to it and end up trying to fight over who climbs up the ladder first.

who starts and who wins the pillow fights?

They both start them, Emma has won more but Vixen has a few wins too.

who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush?

They’ll both do it, Vixen will say it to Charlie and Emma is beyond embarrassed, trying to hide her face either behind her books or in her robes. Within a couple of days, she definitely gets Vixen back by saying it to Barnaby and Vixen will be more embarrassed, if not just as embarrassed as Emma was.
