Someone on my latest Azrael!Alastor au fic asked about the other archangels, so i figured I'd Draw out some designs. First up is the Archangel Micheal.

Today, Supreme Archangel Aziraphale decided he needed a break from the narrow-minded binary thinking of his colleagues, so he slid on some heels and a rhinestone-encrusted dress and went to one of his favourite establishments in Soho. He particularly appreciated the beautiful trans drag queen who did a very enchanting routine singing to Queen songs whilst stalking about the stage in a slinky black dress.

And if he wiped away tears during a poignant rendition of Somebody To Love and sneaked out of the door before he was spotted, that was nobody’s business but his own.

Did I hurt myself by finishing this while listening to Pathway from the Made in Abyss OST? Yes, yes I did... if you know, you know...

EDIT: I updated the pictures because I forgot half of the things I had to draw and then made another post but then I started getting notes from two slightly different versions of the same thing and panicked and my stupid order-obsessed brain was shouting and crying and throwing up at the mess so here we are. As I was saying, keep it real: did you imagine a sublime artist drawing inspiration from the ether? Nope, it's a messy unhinged insomniac who works two day jobs and digipaints cross-legged on a bed balancing laptop tablet and cats at 4am.

EDIT2: It took me months but I finally managed to figure out what was bothering me about this: I messed up his upper/lower body proportions (I think I somehow stretched the bottom half of the canvas when I went back to add the sword that I had initially forgotten, yes I can be *this* dumb). I'll come back to fix it, one day...

Being a supernatural fan is wild bc wdym the healthiest (and best) ship is comprised of an anti evil archangel who stopped because he fell inlove with a human so unimportant the show forgets he exists, 1 episode of screen time, the same actor x2 who overall played in like 5 episodes (once as a ghoul pretending to be lil bro), 1000+ years in prison together, and love so powerful it undid years of blind devotion to an absent father and when one died (poofed away) the other betrayed everything he learned just for the hope to get the other back.

IM SO INSANE ABOUT THEM.

aziraphale, the one who gave the first human exiles his flaming sword as both a source of protection and warmth, who did not look on them as sinners deserving of destruction but people entitled to the best chances possible, has never once looked at crowley, a heavenly exile, with anything other than compassion and a desire to protect. from their first meeting, he never wanted anything bad to happen to him. when crowley slithers up to him in eden, he treats him like an equal rather than an adversary. when crowley appears, his eyes fill with love and excitement, his gaze turns soft and hesitant, his whole body seizes with joy of seeing him. crowley might typically the one to seek him out, but aziraphale has always welcomed him home.

I love when Sam is dumb, Dean is lazy, Cas is mean, or Jack is ruthless. It’s like getting your favorite skittle from a bag.

Cas doesn’t trust any animals that Gabriel was allowed to make or add to.

His reasoning? He doesn’t need one, there is no doubt in his mind that Gabriel’s brotherly torment will follow him around earth.

Thing is no one believes him, I mean why would they? So when they take him to the zoo they don’t really consider his concerns as, well, concerns.

“I don’t think an anteater can glare at you, I’m sure it’s just hungry.”

“Cas the porcupine wasn’t aiming for you.”

“I’m sure the platypus normally purrs and follows people as they walk past the enclosure.”

“I don’t think a parrot shouting feather brain at you repeatedly means anything, people probably call it that all the time.”

This kept happening until a giraffe straight up licks Cas’ head and not even Dean can give a reasonable explanation because it is odd that all the animals that Gabriel is constantly bragging about are terrorising Cas specifically.

Safe to say that Cas refuses to go to the zoo again and Gabriel finds it absolutely hilarious because he really didn’t have anything to do with it, and it’s probably just the fact Cas is an Angel, but obviously as a trickster he’s gonna take full credit for it.
