Maya Amano is a playable character in Persona 2: Innocent Sin and the protagonist in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment where she is investigating the incidents. Maya is the first female protagonist of the Persona series as well as the oldest.

"It's whoop-ass time!"- Maya Amano. She is famous for her rather unwavering and relentless optimism, something which begins to break down in Eternal Punishment. Maya Amano is a cheerful and compassionate woman, and works as a reporter for the teen magazine Coolest. Maya is also known for her motto, "Let's think positive!"

Maya often takes the role of a leader in the group, even in Persona 2: Innocent Sin where she is not the protagonist. Her unstoppable optimism and kindheartedness inspired and encouraged the group throughout the events of the game, making her an unforgettable force within the world they inhabited. Maya also often cheers the party up with her stuffed rabbit doll, which she calls "Mr. Bunbun." This doll evokes memories of her father.

Maya functions as the silent protagonist in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment but still retains components of her Innocent Sin personality. Maya functions as the silent protagonist in Eternal Punishment. She still writes for Coolest, often working alongside Yukino Mayuzumi. Before the events of the game, she had bumped into a mysterious student who had felt familiar to her. After this meeting, she also developed a mysterious bruise on her chest which occasionally aches. While working on a story about JOKER, she stumbles upon JOKER himself. He forces Maya, Katsuya Suou, and Ulala Serizawa to summon their Personas, and they wind up pursuing him.

The motif of Maya's theme is probably the most arranged officially in the human character's theme category of the Megami Tensei series. If one does not count the remastered tracks of PSP remakes of the Persona 2 duology, there are 4 tracks containing Maya's motif in Innocent Sin OST, 1 track in Eternal Punishment OST, 1 vocal remix from "Persona 2: Innocent Sin ~ The Errors of Their Youth," 1 rearranged track from Persona 3 FES, 2 rearranged track in the Eternal Punishment PSP remake and Persona 20th Anniversary All Time Best Album for Persona 5 deluxe version pack-in bonus soundtracks.

Maya's intense guilt about her resentment of the original Masked Circle for the Alaya Shrine incident prevents her from ever accepting her own Shadow as an aspect of herself, making her unique among the series' playable characters who've interacted with their Shadows. She instead chooses to insist that her Shadow is an impostor created by the conflicting rumors about her involvement with the Masked Circle.

In Eternal Punishment, despite being silent, Maya Amano appears to have some sort of internal monologue in character introductions: her introduction of Maya Okamura is "I sense that I've met her somewhere…?", while Tatsuya Suou is introduced as "He ran into me. For some strange reason, I feel I know him from long ago…". Maya is quite careless in her private life and her apartment is a complete mess. Maya once told a story in which she had jumped a fence to get to a closed off building for an assignment she and Yukino were working on together.

Maya wanted to be a journalist ever since she was a kid and feels passionately about her work, saying she’s “married to her work” and prioritizes work over finding a relationship. She has a habit of touching her earlobe when she's lost in thought. The right side of her chest is scarred from a bad burn in the past, and she's very self conscious about not showing it

Despite being terrible at driving, Maya loves driving and considers herself a durable person because no matter how many times she crashes her car she doesn't get injured. Maya is very dependent on Ulala and she takes care of Maya's makeup, clothes (She doesn’t understand fashion and has all her clothes picked by Ulala), and all the cooking at home. She finds mornings difficult because she has low blood pressure and it makes it hard for her to get out of bed. Maya naturally became a night person due to this fact and the nature of her job. Her future dream is to become a successful journalist who can juggle her career and family.

Hi Silver!💜 What are your thoughts about Hollow? I believe it is about Zack and Cloud but idk.

My thoughts are I hate it because instead of just being an ost for the game people have made it into some battleground and ignore what it's obviously about.

It's about Cloud, his identity crisis, his emotional issues, the loss of his home, family, friend and the girl he loves. Hollow plays where Zack died because that's the point where Cloud lost the last thread of himself and became a hollow shell for Sephiroth to manipulate. And at that point, Cloud hadn't seen Tifa yet, so assumed she was dead along with everyone else he knew.

It's not a romantic song or only about one person. It's not either/or, it's everyone that Cloud lost in the previous five years, including himself.

What kind of alebrije would you be?

A flying squirrel. They’re squirrels, so they blend in, but they can glide, so they stand out.

My first fictional crush wasn't actually a cartoon, and I’m not sure which of the animated ones came first; it’s a toss-up between “Honor,” “Allons-y,” and “Can ducks even drown though?”

If you could make the biggest pastry in the world, what would it be?

Something with ganache and strawberry jam.

What’s the grossest food you’ve ever had to eat to be polite?

Honestly I’m the most adventurous eater in my immediate family. I’ll try anything once, but I have never liked eggplant. The taste is awful and the texture is worse. Problem with that being my mom made a lot of lasagna when I was a kid, and it almost always had eggplant in it. I thought it was rude to complain so I never said anything, and now that I’m old enough to tactfully tell my mom that I hate eggplant, she can’t quite believe me because I ate it all those other times. I’ve told her at least 5 times now and she’s surprised each time. 

Who is your craziest/most interesting relative?

I...don’t really have a good answer for this one? My maternal grandpa is a major history buff; my maternal grandma knew she wouldn’t live long after I was born so she bought me 18 years of birthday presents in advance; my paternal grandpa did model trains when he could still walk, and is largely the reason I hold nostalgia for Thomas the Tank Engine; my paternal grandma makes the most delicious Easter bread; the first-name initials of my dad’s brother, his wife, and their kid spell PB&J; my dad is @rwhiskey; my mom gave me the piece of writing advice that I took to heart the most, and the Illustrated Book of Ballet Stories that she gave me is part of the reason I get so much enjoyment out of Princess Tutu; my brother is in the Cleveland Orchestra youth chorus, and as a toddler he would cry whenever he heard a song in d-minor. (Nowadays he’ll say d-minor is awesome, that was, like ten years ago, Inks, TEN.)

I can’t resist so you get several facts:

It’s possible to bruise your eyeball. I don’t mean, like, a black eye; I mean the actual sclera can bruise.

I always had the easiest time imagining myself as a waterbender (even though the martial arts I took growing up had more similarities with firebending...) but I have no idea what my occupation would be in that world. 

Videogame that made you cry?

Videogames have yet to make me cry. (Admittedly I have yet to play most of the games I like to call myself a fan of, and Minecraft doesn't really lend itself to tears.)

What is your strangest talent?

I had trouble thinking of an answer for this one, so I called for backup. Mom and Dad both think that it’s my ability to isolate flavors in the stuff I eat. My paternal grandma thinks it’s the way I can twist/bend my left thumb behind my hand. My brother thinks it’s that I can do the bridge-walk from the Exorcist (albeit not down a staircase yet).

New Releases 11/14/17

‘Happy New Release Day! Today brings a few new manga and a graphic novel, along with a couple of new shows/movies, and even a new video game from Nintendo.

In Books  --Fairy Tail Volume 62 by Hiro Mashima “During the chaos of war,the demon Acnologia slinks his way into the ranks. As Erza, Wendy, and Gajeel prepare to face their hardest battle yet, a strange woman shows up to lift their spirits! The woman knows the secret to sealing Acnologia away, but will the gang be able to execute her orders! Meanwhile, brothers Natsu and Zeref go head-to-head, with their lives on the line! The fate of the world sinks further into peril when Zeref reveals his ultimate mission: Neo Eclipse!”

I can’t believe this series is almost over (at least in the US). Just one more volume remains. I think I’m going to wait to pick this one up until volume 63 comes out so I can get them together. The last volume I read was somewhere in the early 50′s, I think. I started rereading the series but paused midway through volume 8 and will continue from there once the last volume is released.

--Forbidden Scrollery Volume 1 by Moe Harukawa “Where else would a girl with the power to translate any tome she sets in her lap reside except a library? Sure, some books may be more dangerous than others, but that's far from discouragement for a true bibliophile like Kosuzu Motoori!”

Books that are dangerous. That may or may not magical in some form. With artwork that reminds me of Cardcator Sakura. Sign me up. I really would like to try this series cause as I’ve mentioned before I’m a sucker for books that have books being a form of power in worlds. I did flip through some of this volume when it arrived early at my work. And it looks promising.

--Frau Faust Volume 2 by Kore Yamazaki “After narrowly escaping a battle with Lorenzo, Johanna falls unconscious. In her wounded state, the century-old memories of her first encounter with Mephistopheles run through her head. In these memories are answers Marion is beginning to understand: what is the nature of his master’s immortality, and how is her curse inextricably tied to the body of her demon? Faust, Marion, and Nico’s immediate aim is to find Mephisto’s right leg, a mission that becomes more urgent when evidence of a young girl using demonic power comes to light. To find the next piece of her precious demon, Johanna may even need to form a tenuous deal with Lorenzo...”

From the creator of The Ancient Magus’ Bride comes Frau Faust. I enjoyed the first volume of this series which included a cute short about a museum that houses invisible exhibits. I would like to see Yamazaki explore that short more in the future. The first volume follows Johanna as she tries to find the missing pieces of the demon Mephisto held captive by the church. Along the way she gains an apprentice named Marion and they meet up with Nico, Johanna’s daughter.

My favorite part of volume 2 was learning about how Johanna meet Mephisto.

--Rose Volume 1 by Meredith Finch, illustrated by Ig Guara “A classic fantasy tale about a girl trying to restore balance to a broken world. Rose must connect with her Khat—Thorne—to become the Guardian the world needs. But things aren’t easy for Rose and Thorne, the powerful sorcerous Drucilla has many powerful and demonic allies—all of them focused on stopping one scared little girl who’s desperately trying to stay alive and do what’s right.”

I have been waiting on this one since I first saw the cover to issue one earlier this year. A warrior-girl with her giant black panther companion. It was a good start to the series though the volume felt a bit rushed. A few of the pages cut off part of some sentences near the end of the volume. I am looking forward to volume 2 and hope that the pacing might find a better flow. I think it’s worth checking out.

In Movies/TV Shows --91 Days “Prohibition—a lawless era where bootleggers prosper and mobsters prowl. Avilio Bruno has grown up alone in this murky world after the Vanetti's murdered his family. One day, he receives a letter that holds the key to revenge. Befriending the don's son, Nero, Avilio works his way through the Vanetti family and sets his vengeance in motion.”

I haven’t had time to try this one out yet but I really want to. There is a standard and an LE edition. The LE has an art box and comes with a 40 page companion guide that has, “artwork, character profiles, background information on Prohibition, the Chicago mafia, period firearms, and more.” And a set of six art cards.

--Atomic Blonde “An undercover MI6 agent is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents.”

I was really excited to see this one because of how they treated the main character. They made her fight how a woman would actually need to fight. And they made it also realistic by how bruised and cut up she was after all this was over. When she got punched in the face that bruise would stay there. Some of those fights were painful to watch just of the pain you see was being done to her. The fight scenes in this movie were just fantastic. But the plot was a little convoluted. Maybe it will make more sense during a second watch. Either way it was an enjoyable movie to watch.

--Blue Exorcist Kyoto Saga Set 1 “Born the spawn of Satan, Rin Okumura decides to hide his origins, and become an exorcist. He enrolls at the Exorcism Cram School, a training institute for exorcists located on the True Cross Academy grounds. But, his cover is blown during an attack by Amaimon, the King of Earth, and he is revealed to be the son of Satan. Terrified of Satan’s blue flames, his friends start to distance themselves from Rin…It is then that someone steals the Left Eye of the Impure King, sealed away in the deepest part of the academy, and Rin and the others find themselves embroiled in an unexpected crisis.”

The newest season of Blue Exorcist is starting to release. It was a pretty good season. And now I’m trying to remember if I finished it or not. I feel like I did but now I can’t remember.... Anyway. This is an Aniplex title so it is going to be a bit higher. There is a DVD edition and a Blu-Ray. They contain episodes 1-6 of this season. But if you buy the Blu-Ray it also comes with a booklet and some postcards.

--Doctor Who Complete Series 10 The final season of Peter Capaldi as 12 and with Steven Moffat as executive producer is now out as a complete set. Pearl Mackie was great as Bill Potts though sometimes I can’t help but feel like they could have done more with her character. Once I see the season again I might change my mind but for now that thought occasionally pops up. 

My favorite episodes of this season are “Smile”, “Thin Ice” if only to watch the Doctor punch that guy over and over, “Empress of Mars”, and the two-part season finale.

--In This Corner Of the World “Based on the award-winning manga by Fumiyo Kouno, In This Corner Of the World tells the emotional story of Suzu, a young girl from Hiroshima, who’s just become a bride in the nearby city of Kure during World War II. Living with her husband’s family, Suzu has to adjust to her new life, which is made especially difficult by regular air raids. But life must go on, and Suzu - through the help of her new family and neighbors - begins to discover the joys of everyday life in Kure. Much is gained in Kure, but with war, many things cherished are also lost.”

This just looks fantastic. I’m really excited to see this one.

--Pokemon Indigo League S1 The original that started it all is out on blu-ray for what should be the first time. I love the Indigo League. It’s where I started with Pokemon. And it has some the saddest episodes I’ve seen from the series. At least up until the point where I stopped watching. I tried to pick it back up during the last season and the new Sun and Moon seasons but it has been sporadic. 

This set has the first 52 episodes of the series. It also comes with a 64 page manga sampler, a recipe card, the complete Pokerap, and a “Who’s That Pokemon” gallery. I feel like they could have done more for this release as the extras just feel like a pull for you to start buying the manga and one of their Pokemon cookbooks.

I really hope they kept the other songs in at the end of episodes instead of just the Pokerap. I love the Pokerap but I also love the other songs. Yeah, I have them on one of the soundtracks but I’d still like to see them at the end of the episodes. 

The box itself is really cool. It is designed to look like the original Pokedex.

--Preacher S2  “Jesse, Tulip and Cassidy hit the road in search of God, and quickly realize they're being stalked by a killer cowboy from Hell.”

I wasn’t as crazy about this season as I was the first. I’ve been that way with a lot of series this year. It is still a good series and had a great start to the season. And ended with a great cliffhanger.

In Video Games --RiME (Nintendo Switch version) “In RiME, you play as a young boy who has awakened on a mysterious island after a torrential storm. You see wild animals, long-forgotten ruins and a massive tower that beckons you to come closer. Armed with your wits and a will to overcome—and the guidance of a helpful fox—you must explore the enigmatic island, reach the tower's peak, and unlock its closely guarded secrets.”

I’ve been really excited for this game for a while. But I am conflicted. It is half price if I get it on my PS4 but I was really hoping to get it for my Switch. Visually it looks gorgeous and the OST is supposed to be really good. But I have heard that the puzzles aren’t very challenging. I still want to try it out. Now I just need to decide what console I want it for.

Horrors of Battle - Boruto Fanfic

Author’s note: Here is a little something I just couldn’t get out of my mind since I saw episode 13 of the Boruto series, and we finally got around to let it out with my friend @eleanor-devil in a short RP :D We thought it might be... interesting if the final battle of this arc took a turn like this and hope you enjoy it! "C'mon, class rep... surely you must know something about how to stop this... this monster!..." Boruto was trying not to let it show, how literally terrified he felt... Things just took a decisively worst turn... Sumire had a change of heart - finally... but not before starting the detonation process... they were bruised and battered from the battle previously, and even the three of them couldn't both hold off the Nue and try to close the portal at the same time... "I'm sorry..." the purple haired girl genuinely sounded like she meant it. "Th... the Nue was not supposed to be stopped... once it is engaged, there is no turning back..." "No... no, there has to-" "There is a way." an almost... indifferent voice interrupted then, and both Boruto and Sumire turned to look at Mitsuki, who was just gazing at the monster calmly, as if the world as they know it wasn't going to end in a matter of time.

"Mitsuki...?" the blond muttered as he eyed the boy that just a few moments ago was only focused on ending Sumire's life... without muttering another word Mitsuki walked ahead of them just a few steps and his eyes never left the Nue's threatening eyes. The beast was growling at him but for some reason, it didn't raise its paw against him.

"Turns out there is another way to stop the Nue... without ending the user's life." He didn't turn to face them, Boruto felt sweat run down his face and his body... somehow grew cold when Mitsuki finally turned to look at him, still with those indifferent eyes. "Can you re-open the portal Boruto...?"

"I..." the blond started to say, but for a moment didn't continue, something about this... just didn't feel right, even though what his blue haired friend was saying was completely lost on him... Although then, it was no surprise, Mitsuki was indeed full of mysteries... A small frown came across his features. "What are you planning to do...?"

"Can you?"

"Answer me, Mitsuki." he said, his voice becoming slightly strained as he noticed how the blue haired boy just stepped aside his question. He didn't even notice his hands slowly curling into fists.

Mitsuki just continued looking at him for a few seconds more and then he turned back to look at the Nue... indeed what a great beast stood before him... ready to blow them all away... "I am going to seal it away... before the bomb goes off."

Both the other two's eyes widened at the words.

"But that's..." Sumire started.

"It's not impossible." He was stating facts, his tone didn't change.

"I don't care if it's impossible or not, you are not going to do that!" Boruto was loud... again... which just made Mitsuki smile a little...

"I'm just a clone, relax..." He... wasn't lying... technically speaking.

"C-clones... can't do everything the original can do..." Boruto said, although he wasn't exactly sure... his clones could use the Gentle Fist - well, as best as he could, anyway... but... to actually use the amount of chakra that's required to seal this beast...?

He turned around to look at Sumire, but the girl didn't seem to know much better than him...

"They can." came Mitsuki's voice right behind him then, and he put a hand on his shoulder... almost reassuring. "Of course the effects are not as strong as the original but... it will do." And then he gave one of his smiles... one Boruto was never sure if it was genuine or not... "Trust me."

Boruto looked between both Mitsukis... he wasn't... sure if he should believe this or not but the touch of the Mitsuki behind him felt as real as the other times he had done the same.

"There is not much time left." The Mitsuki facing the Nue quickly did the hand signs and put both his palms on the ground where a sealing mark appeared and spread through the place. A purple light started filling the marks. "Open the portal now, and go." It was pretty much an order...

Boruto gulped before taking a step back and hoping his eye would do what it had done back there... last time it happened right after he had contact with Mitsuki and Sumire at the same time... was that the answer to reopen it?

With the little time they have... he really didn't have any choice but to improvise. With a wordless nod towards Mitsuki's clone, he grabbed the class rep's hand, felt her tense slightly at the touch... he knew she didn't feel worthy of going back to Konoha... that made him only tighten his grip a little harder, he was NOT going to let go of her, not like this...

"Well... here goes nothing..." he mumbled as he closed his eyes for a minute, and his right eye shone momentarily with blinding white light as he reopened them...

Mitsuki's face softened into another smile as he saw Boruto, Sumire and... the other Mitsuki disappear through the portal... 'Boruto...' he thought, his mind suddenly, weirdly at peace as the purple light began covering the whole area now, engulfing the Nue and also himself... 'Sometimes... you just can't save everyone...'

Those words... although unheard by Boruto, made the blond feel his heart tightening... trying to tell him something as the light of the portal engulfed them and threw the three young students back on the top of the Hokage's monument with a loud thud.

Boruto quickly looked up and saw the same purple light from the seal shining through the now small opening of the portal until it disappeared in thin air. He was shaking... why though...? They were safe... the village was safe, the Nue had been sealed... so... why...?

He looked around, Sumire was getting up, she seemed fine. But when he looked at Mitsuki, expecting to see him standing up as well... he saw him turning completely white slowly... until it vanished into thousands of snakes...

And everything came to a stop... literally, the world stopped spinning as Boruto just stared at where his friend... was, is... he... he was there... he was supposed to be there...! A cold dread gripped his heart and he felt his breath getting caught in his throat as he tried to understand, to make some sense out of it...

He heard an almost inaudible gasp as Sumire too, no doubt glanced around.

"N-no, what...?" the words that tumbled out of his mouth felt so feeble... so weak... so unlike him, who felt so brave just minutes ago, facing that monster...

"No, no... NO!" he yelled, turning around, REFUSING to even think about any alternative... "MITSUKI!!!" he cried out at the top of his lungs, frantic, terrified... now truly feeling horror down to his very bones...

He breathed... or tried to breath, he had to find a way to go back in there! It wasn't even a matter of discussion, he HAD to go back in there no matter what... the problem was... his eye was not responding...

"Come on you stupid eye WORK!!" he was yelling at himself at this point, he felt angry, sad, he felt in every imaginable way! He then turned to the purple haired girl. "Class Rep...! Use it, use that chakra, my eye will work on that!"

"Boruto-kun... I... I can't..." she stammered.

"What do you mean?!" he didn't mean to yell at the girl but he was just... so distraught right now...

The girl hesitated. "With the Nue gone... I don't have access to that chakra anymore..."

"No... God dammit!" Out of the sheer need to do something, Boruto brought his hands together. "Kagebunshin no jutsu!!"

He wasn't in his right mind, he didn't even know if that would work, heck he didn't give two fucks! "Activate your eyes!" he ordered them, he didn't mean to sound harsh... but he just didn't care. "We are going to force open that portal if we need to!"

The clones just quickly glanced at one another, their expressions sad... it almost made the blond want to smack them, this was not the time to be sad, this was time for action!!

"I'm sorry..." one of the clones, decidedly soft in contrast of all of the times he bickered with his replicas. "We... can't..."

"Yes we can!" Boruto reacted stubbornly, trying to ignore the stinging feeling in his eyes, in his throat... and in his heart too... "W-we can do it if we just put our minds to it!" His voice sounded even desperate, on the verge of breaking...

"I'm sorry..." another clone repeated, and his look was also one of sadness. "We can't use a jutsu you didn't plan ahead... we can't use that eye technique..."

"No! We have to!" he insisted.

The other clone shook his head. "We can't do that... he is gone..."

The feared words said by none other than his own clone... it made the original shake in fear as the tears finally came down his cheeks. His arms fell limp at the sides of his body, his teeth clenched... and the clones disappeared in clouds of smoke.

"No..." he whispered, Sumire didn't know what to say...

'You don't know the true horrors of battle...' The words told to him by his father echoed in the blond's head again and again... the true horrors of battle... was this what he meant...? Losing a friend...?

It was all too much... too much for him to bear... Boruto shut his eyes tightly, letting more tears fall down as his right hand clenched around his shirt, right where his heart is... it hurt... so much...

He let out a huge, loud cry of anguish as he fell down on his knees, and started sobbing, uncontrollably... Why...? How was this even fair?!

He didn't even notice the sounds of more and more people gathering around them... until he heard the familiar voice...

"What's going on here?!"

He had never felt more glad in his life to hear his father's voice...

Two ANBU surrounded Sumire, one of them holding her arms behind her back. She didn't fight back. "Sumire Shigaraki, you will be taken into custody for practicing crimes against the Hidden Leaf." She just nodded, she kept her head down.

"Boruto..." Naruto knelt down in front of his son and put his hands on the boy's shoulders, he was clearly worried... he was shaking...

"It hurts..." the boy whispered, his voice completely broken.

Naruto frowned. "Are you hurt...?!"

"He's gone... dad he is gone..." the boy just hid his face in his father's arms.

"What... who...?" Naruto was at a complete loss of what to do or even say as Boruto just shook his head, his seemingly endless tears started dampening his outfit... The hokage quickly looked around, there was no sign of the Nue, no sign of even his chakra... What had happened...?

"M..." his son choked on the word as he tried to speak, Naruto didn't remember the last time he saw him like that... "Mitsuki..." he whispered, his hands tightening on the hokage's robes. "H-he... sealed the Nue away... H-he's... g-gone..." and words were once again lost to the younger blond, he couldn't continue... he didn't know how to... how to deal with this crushing pain...

1.      What’s your favorite quote?

“Someone’s savior can be another person’s downfall.” I read it in a self-help book my father gave me when I was going through a really rough time in my life. A lot of people out there claim, “Well if you just follow these steps, you’ll be happy.” But happiness and inner peace are different for every individual so of course how we achieve these things are going to be different too.

2.      Would you hug a stranger if asked?

Only if I felt comfortable in the situation, like if I was with a group of friends and they were all hugging that person too. Of if that person truly needed a hug. If a random stranger asked for a hug out of the blue and I was alone, chances are I’m going to say no. Especially if that person gave off creeper vibes.

3.      What would you tell your bias/fictional character?

Jungkook from BTS isn’t necessarily my favorite out of the group, but it always breaks my heart when he listens to fan opinions about his appearance. I read from somewhere that he mentioned wanting to get a tattoo but changed his mind when some fans complained. There was also a video where he asked the fans’ opinion about whether he looks better with a double-eyelid or not. I doubt he’d listen to me but I wish there was a way he can understand that it’s his life, his body, he can do whatever he wants. If he wants a tattoo, go for it. If he wants to wear certain clothes, go for it. If the fans don’t like it, that is not his problem.

4.      Best compliment?

Oh god, I don’t know. Though it’s always nice when my friends tell me thanks after I listen to them rant about something that’s been bothering them or if I help them with a problem. It makes me feel useful and like I’m worth having around as a friend.

5.      What makes you happy?

Eating a delicious meal. Hanging out with friends. Listening to my favorite songs. Playing Pokemon. Simple things really haha

6.      What’s your favorite drink?

Coffee mixed with Baileys or any other Irish cream. I have one cup every night, no matter what. It’s a highlight of my day.

7.      Favorite Smell?

Coffee! The garden club at my college create bins full of compost and earthworms to make fertilizer. The local coffee shop donates old coffee beans to the club and my hands always smell like coffee for the rest of the day.

8.      If you could learn one thing in a day what would you choose?

Japanese. I’m at intermediate level but it’s been forever since I’ve actually used it. It would be amazing if I could magically become fluent in just one day.

9.      What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you?

The story that pops into my mind took place during my junior year of high school. The drama club took a field trip to see a play in Chicago. Before the performance we had some downtime, so the teacher let us split into groups to explore the city. This was the first time any of my friends and I were left to our own devices in such a large city. So naturally we did something really stupid. We were walking down Michigan Ave. when someone saw a sign for a Baskin Robins across the street. Never turning down an opportunity for ice cream, we excitedly crossed the road. However, under the sign was only a small entrance to a drab building. The grungy site didn’t deter us in any way. We decided that maybe the shop was somewhere inside and waltzed right in. Only a small lobby with an elevator greeted us. Determined to find this mystery Baskin Robins, we did not hesitate to step into the elevator. But which of the five floors did the ice cream place reside? Well, one of us had the bright idea to press ALL FIVE floors. The door to the second floor opened to cubicles and an irritated secretary. Under her glaring eyes, we softly asked about the whereabouts of the Baskin Robins. She rolled her eyes and scoffed that the shop was on the other side of the building. As the doors were closing, a mailman hurriedly joined us. But we had to ride up another three floors before we could begin our descent back to the lobby. Mortified, I slid to the ground and placed my head on my knees for the rest of the ride as secretaries from every floor eyed us with confusion and annoyance. Never again.

10.  What is about favorite physical attribute about yourself?

My long, athletic, sexy legs! They may be constantly covered in bruises or cuts, but that’s what makes them charming. Every mark has a story, after all.
