Osomatsu-San OC art / Fake Screencaps !!

hii!! i figured since i’m beginning to indulge into Osomatsu after a while once more, i’d post some recent art and some past art of my Osomatsu-San oc, Mai!

Context Behind Mai:

Mai is a 22-year old Gyaru who appears in the show Osomatsu as a side character and potential love interest for the second oldest brother : Karamatsu. At first, she hated the lot of them, but slowly got used to their antics and even became immune to Kara’s painfulness (even sometimes joining in with the sunglasses or glittery pants.. as a joke of course.)

She is great friends with Todomatsu and Jyushimatsu- as they are the only brothers she can really tolerate out of the six of them. She is a massive germaphobe and short tempered, but generally is a good friend to keep around.

18Matsu - 18Mai!

Originally, I hadn’t planned to do anything with Mai after watching the movie- but, after many thoughts of her appearance and backstory within the movie, i gave in.

18Mai is nothing like present Mai. Present Mai is outgoing, confident and full of life— but 18Mai was shy, she kept to herself and couldn’t find even the tiniest ounce of interest in life. School was a bore and even working part-time was crap.. so she turned to makeup, fashion— that’s how she became a gyaru and she began appreciating life more.

She also made a friend along the way- Mujin. Her closest friend and probably her long lost brother.

I really have no context behind this image. It’s just Mai and Oso, lol. Just pretend something serious or interesting happened.

Okay, this fake screencap ACTUALLY has context and story behind it!

To keep it short, the idea behind this image is that in an episode, Mujin leaves the city to work abroad without any warning or notice, not even telling Mai that he was going.

So when Mujin hasn’t been in contact for days, weeks, even months, Mai and the sextuplets begin to worry, especially Ichimatsu.

Mai thinks she has lost her greatest friend, she expresses great sadness and even almost lets herself go from reality and visits Chibita, who consoles her.

Mujin feels guilty for his sudden leave and decided to return, earning a heartwarming and needed reunion hug from Mai and Ichi.
