I love how much "worldbuilding" a mail system adds to hermitcraft, 'cause in a story now you'd have like mail technicians who do dangerous trips to the nether to find lost mail and repair broken portals, and it's just so cool.

I’m playing Ori and the Blind Forest. It’s so pretty and I’m enjoying it. About halfway through I was trying to go to bed and stuck on the water shrine blasting you out.

I just wanted to go to bed but I kept dying and in frustration I turned the difficulty to easy. I cleared it instantly and afterward I told myself I’d change it back to normal, but I forgot and realized I was having a way better time on easy.

There’s still a tiny voice leering at me in my head that I’m playing on easy but honestly games should be fun. I was succeeding on normal but I’m thriving on easy and I feel like that should be the point.

Thinking about how since East Boston is underwater in Fo4 the entirety of the Cape or at least most of it probably is too. The P Town monument is probably just sticking up in the middle of the sea and that's it. A true tragedy the land of gay vacations is gone the Sole Survivor would be crushed.

with s2 three or so days away… IF orianna shows up, in whatever fashion that is, at the very least i hope they don't take away her agency. in her base lore she CHOSE to go down to zaun and help despite the risks. Dad is the the one to start it, but Ori actively takes part in the rest of her robotic transition. She chooses to drug dad and give him her heart, seemingly without his knowledge or consent, and she chooses to leave.

At the end of the day i dont really care if the ori theory is true or not, just that if she does show up in s2, she's not being thrown around the plot by other characters' whims. Besides altruism, her story was about her taking her life into her own hands and living with the consequences. Let her have that, at least.

like the reason im so scared abt this is because.. i mean they already fridged sky, for one thing. Then you take viktor into account and it's the same trouble — yeah he can have magic now in his glorious evolution but please ffs don't make it some mind control thing. Viktor's evolution was his own choice, HIS doing, he isn't beholden to anyone. Least of all the fucking d20 glowing on his desk

So I'm rewatching 3rd life from all perspectives with my friend @georgieporgiepuddininpie and they just made a brilliant comment:

The funniest part about 3rd life that didn't carry into other seasons was that up until a certain point, everyone was playing a different game

Grian and Scar were playing Catan until Scar got to red and then they started playing 3rd life

Impulse and Etho were playing Among Us

Scott , Jimmy and BigB were playing just vanilla Minecraft

Joel was playing hardcore

Skizz was playing naked & afraid

Cleo and Bdubs were playing Hermitcraft

Ren & Martyn were playing DnD

Tango was the only one actually playing 3rd life skdnskdnsd

Okay so officially the worst thing about the sequel to Ori is that you cannot change difficulty mid game like you could in the first one.

My hyper mobile hands are fucking dying on some of these challenges but unless I want to literally start a new game I’m fucked.

I have been watching the writing tips that author Tomi Adeyemi has been posting on TikTok and they’re honestly really good

My favorite one has been the “choose a monthly goal instead of a yearly goal” one

I decided to make my January goal to outline all the chapters for book one of Project New World and it’s working swimmingly! I feel very motivated cause it’s a very achievable goal :))
