Bush hogged a bunch of our pastures. I've been undergrazing for several years as we grow our sheep flock. As a result a lot of annual weeds have been overtaking our fields. Before they went to seed I thought it was best to hire someone to mow it down. At the #Hollywood farmers market for raw grass fed whole milk and cheese! If you have access to raw milk at your farmers market you should try it. It is not dangerous like we have been led to believe. You are 35,000 times more likely to get sick from other foods than raw milk! Raw dairy provides so many benefits that pasteurized dairy sold at grocery stores does not. Pasteurization is a process in which milk (or any food/liquid) is heated to a specific temperature then for a certain left of time then cooled. Pasteurization literally destroys the healthy bacteria, enzymes, and vitamins such as vitamin A,D, and K2 and oxidizing the protein. As a living food, raw milk contains enzymes that assist in digestion of nutrients. It is highly digestible and provides good lactase producing bacteria to the gut walls, eliminating lactose intolerance to nearly anyone who drinks it.
