it never even occurred to me that the League would have to deal with Broody!Batman holy shit-

I can 100 percent see the league being absolutely baffled by Batman’s behavior- I feel like some would be aware of the A/B/O traits, but not all.

Just imagine when Batman eventually decides they’re his Work Pack:tm: and starts to treat them as such.

He’s suddenly all touchy and tries to flaunt his role as Lead Pack Omega much to their confusion.

And for the ones with super senses? I feel like they wouldn’t get the nitty gritty details of scenting (Though beast boy most definitely does)

Clark would be so stressed out over that. What’s wrong with his best friend?? Why did Bruce suddenly going from smelling like nothing to smelling like sweet earth??? (The answer is Scent Blockers, Bruce just decided to stop wearing them so he could mark them as pack.)

Also them dealing with Batman immediately post taking in Dick??? Oh god they’d be so concerned because why is Bruce suddenly so flighty?? Why did he go from doing everything to the letter to I Need To Get Out Now??

And you know Bruce doesn't think to explain. Like everyone in Gotham knows about dynamics, it's Gotham after all. He even forgot to mention it to Dick when he first came to the manor, and he saw him literally every day.

And it's not like he didn't care about them before, but it was silent, more distant care. Adding an extra kitchen when Flash complains about his high metabolism, adding more stuff to the gym when someone mentions it, but never letting anyone know he was the one to do so.

He still does these things of course, but will also just drop gifts into their arms and laps. Gifts covered in his scent seeing as he's not around them as often as say, his Wayne Enterprises pack. Which he also doesn't see often but is probably helped by the fact of him not being the only one with a dynamic.

Gosh Bruce is definitely fighting with himself because he wants to share his pup with his pack(s) but he also wants to of course keep him safe. Meaning he has to keep him hidden and all that and there's also the issue of Dick not understanding the whole broodiness at first too.

And you know he's going to not vocalize any of this. And the broodiness definitely gets worse for a bit until the miscommunication between him and Dick gets fixed lol.

Love the idea of Clark just, forgetting the fact he's a journalist and can find this information if he researched Gotham lmao. He's smart until he's in the middle of worrying about one of his friends and the freak out takes over.

Definitely not helped by the fact that the rest of the league also freaking out and wondering wtf is wrong lol.

A little backstory for why my version of Big Mama's assistant is referred to as both Venus and Frida: she originally was Venus, but was forced to pick a new name.

Big Mama does have her reasons for doing this (given that she basically kidnapped Venus from Draxum, the name change helps to hide her identity so Draxum won't try to get her back), but at the end of the day she knows it's cruel. She doesn't say things like this much, but when she does it's very intentional.

Jinx stans have made me increasingly dislike the character because of how awful they all are. Honestly, they relate to Jinx too much with their unhealthy demands (thinking Vi needs to be solely dedicated to her), self centeredness, possessiveness and lack of care for others mental health and trauma.

Jinx is a toxic drain on Vi’s life and Vi deserves to be free. Also Ekko deserves better. Any timebomb would be a disservice to Ekko, who doesn’t deserve a toxic partner. I’m sure the stans are going to have fun with this

am i the only one that thinks it's pretty messed up to have a narrative where mohg is very heavily implied to be doing bad things to a child and then two years later say no! actually! the victim is indeed to blame!

like idk elden ring doesn't exist in a vacuum and it's always been political. to have the character that represents hope and ending oppression and genuine effort to fix shitty circumstances be a child or childish alone is suck imo, but also to have that child character be presented in a way that makes it easy to dismiss him as not only morally reprehensible but as manipulative feels? politically charged. poor victim conservative warmonger radahn vs. manipulative monster socialist miquella? does this make sense? it feels gross.

A weird thing about reading ATB is definitely how relatable Tobio's "power" is as an epileptic person. Like just this description is like yeah that's exactly what its like when a seizure is coming on (and since auditory hallucinations are part of my seizures I can interpolate that from Tobio "communicating" with others)

What I kind of like about it is that sometimes Tobio will experience one of these "communications" and within seconds go back to what he was doing, basically unbothered. Which is sometimes just what seizures look like (and sometimes they don't even 'look' like anything and go completely unnoticed!) I'm sure they aren't deliberately going for epilepsy when writing this narrative but even so seeing a character experience relatively muted and unobtrusive "seizures" is kind of nice for a change

I think it's not exactly that she's being mean, but usually when she sees me in my own environment (rather than me visiting my parents) she's seeing me in really high stress situations, where I have a short fuse. Though to be fair, I'm really high strung at the best of times, and at the worst of times it's...worse. Anyone who's dealt with me IRL in high stress situations, like cons or Disney trips, can back this up. I will very seldom really lose it at a stranger, but the better I know someone the more likely I am to snap. I think with both me and my mother we get really frustrated when something that seems obvious to us isn't obvious to someone else, I'm just more likely to snap and she's more likely to start overexplaining until I snap. We also have some qualities that aren't really compatible -- like, I am a "think out loud" person, which tends to make her think I'm asking for advice and I'm usually not, just working things through in my own head. There is also some culture and generational clash. (My mother is Japanese and I'm American, boomer vs millennial, etc.) I love my mother and of my parents, she's the one I actually have a functional relationship with, but there is a reason I live on the other side of the country and am happy calling often, but don't visit much.
