Random interactions I've had in the past couple of days in Japan:
-old naked lady at the sento who did her best to explain to 3 confused french tourists who had never been to a public bathhouse how to proceed, despite us barely speaking any japanese, and her barely speaking any english. She also gave us sweets afterwards. She was lovely.
-middle aged man who stopped us in the street to tell us we were beautiful. He then said "I am crazy", smiled, gave us a thumbs up, and left.
-brazilian tourist who started talking to me in the bus and told me I should go visit Himeji.
-old japanese man who started talking to me in the train station and told me I should go visit Himeji.
#the bathhouse was truly an experience#equal parts uncomfortable and nice#my friends were stressed out about it beforehand#but i kinda assumed that we'd each have our own space to take off our clothes and wash#and we'd have our little towel to cover us#and the only time we'd be fully naked would be when we're in the water so no big deal right#seems easy enough to avoid being naked in front of friends and family members right#wrong#you are naked so much in there#we were not prepared#but the place was pretty though#and the bath itself was very relaxing#and the old lady and the other customers were all very nice and patient with us#also i was feeling a bit nervous about people seeing that i only have one tit and a half#but nobody batted an eye#people genuinely did not care at all about how the others looked like#which actually felt very nice

Ughhh all the clothes I brought from home smell so fucking musty, even though I washed some of them before I packed them 😫 so I'm gonna have to wash them all again

i'm back in my home!! when i arrived i gazed upon the kitchen and thought 'my god. i absolutely can not share house anymore i'm done i need to move out.' BUT then i talked to my beautiful housemates who i love. and remembered that i so enjoy living with them. and then two of them separately said they missed my clean influence on the house. unprompted and before i had cleaned anything! which was an immense relief. because i really have this worry that i can have this like... clean police vibe. and that i'd get back to the house and everyone would feel like, 'great, the clean police is back, fun time is over'. and i don't want that!! acab. but also a dirty kitchen is so hard for me to live with! so anyway. nice to know that some of my housemates are into it being clean.
also i did THREE loads of washing today and it was SUNNY ALL DAY. and my first load of sheets DRIED before my next load of sheets were finished washing. incredible. and the person who was staying while i was gone left a bunch of food in the fridge and i cooked it all up into a big pasta bake to share. and i vacuumed my room, and i worked. and unpacked one of my bags. (one to go). and i wiped all the kitchen benches and did some dishes. very satisfying. and before i sleep i will MEDITATE as per my october plan :)

Finley got spayed today. Finley also figured out how to escape the cone. The new game seems to be getting out of the cone, trying to shove herself back in, and then escaping it again.
I can only assume the reason she isn't avoiding the cone is because she is drugged as hell.

this has been THE shitiest day (i have an infected tooth the dentist couldn’t perform a root canal on and the endodontist he sent me to isn’t in my network and I can’t be seen by the seemingly ONE in my network until next MONTH and i can’t eat and i accidentally told Husband his Valentine’s Day present and i HATE taking strong pain meds but i have no choice and it’s just awful 😭) so we’re going to think about 3DWD noticing immediately that his Bun has woken up in a bad brain mood and how he’d spoil him and love on him perfectly to get Buck through his rough day 🥹🥰
