A yawn.

You rubbed your tired eyes and dictated a reminder for tomorrow morning to your AI assistant. It was pretty late and you had your hands full all day with your kids. And while family time was always great, there hadn’t been a spare moment for you to tend to your own business. But two decades of dealing with your hyperactive yet loveable children (and husband) taught you to make the most out of what you got. So you were doing just that, organizing your errands and sorting important emails after everyone had scurried off to their rooms, and your husband — to the shower.

Baekhyun was quite exhausted himself, so you realized he must’ve gotten in the common bathroom by the time you exited the one in your bedroom. He did that sometimes when you locked the door out of habit. Not that he couldn’t come in, it was just… You used to scold him pretty badly for breaking into the bathroom. Picking locks wasn’t something you wanted your juniors to acquire as a habit. They had enough of their daddy’s traits as it was.

The thought made you chuckle. Your eldest son had already outgrown his father by at least five and a half – gotta be precise here! – centimeters (which made daddy very proud, but also a teeny tiny bit jealous). Despite his height, which, you were sure, was going to break the golden 180cm in the next few months, your boy’s build was exactly the same as Baekhyun’s. His shoulders were broad, his hips wide, and his waist was naturally narrow. Legs long and lean, and eyes always mischievous. He was eighteen and already seemed more like Baekhyun’s best friend rather than his child. Being both the hyung and the oppa of the household, he was the most mature out of the bunch, and always a big help to his parents.

Your middle child, your precious daughter, resembled you a lot. Her wavy hair and her big eyes with the longest eyelashes either of you’d ever witnessed. Seriously, that was the first thing Baekhyun’s friends had commented on when they came by to meet your new baby. ‘Is this even normal? Can she see through those? That’s one pretty baby!’ She was even prettier now, at her sweet sixteen, cheeks still a bit chubby, which – just as her button nose – were definitely an homage to her dad. Not to mention her hands that were even more delicate and exquisite than his.

The youngest, your six-year-old son, was a blessing. You weren’t planning to have more children after the first two until you suddenly thought… why not? Cannot say that you weren’t a little bit under the influence at the time. It was one of those rare weekends when your kids had a sleepover at their grandparents’, so you had the whole house to yourself. Deciding to have a domestic date and enjoy shameless daytime drinking, you indulged in a whole glass of wine before both of you were tipsy and giggling, then you added one more to the mix. At that point, all kinds of crazy things were brought up.

‘We should do this more often…’ You informed your partner. ‘This is exciting! We can walk around naked the way we used to before we had teenagers in the house!’

‘I miss our naked Saturdays…’ Baekhyun whined, almost spilling his wine while trying to sip it gracefully. ‘Now I barely even see you naked with your shower locking obsession!’

Pursing your lips, you dismissed his complaint.

‘After that incident… You cannot blame me for my caution.’

The incident was, well, your son needing to use the bathroom while his sister was taking too long and heading to the one in your bedroom. He nearly walked in on… an adult scene.

‘He didn’t even see anything, Y/N-ah,’ your husband grumbled, but you waved him off, downing your drink as if it was a shot of tequila rather than a glass of wine.

‘I don’t see a problem though,’ he blinked at you, not following. ‘We’re alone. Why not… See each other naked again?’

‘Right. We can also- Y/N-ah!’

‘What?’ You eyed his suddenly enthusiastic form with nothing but suspicion.

‘We can create a distraction!’

‘Hm?’

‘A distraction for them. So that they’d be busy with something else while we’re away.’

‘Hmm?’ You still couldn’t locate the source of his excitement.

‘Lemme show you,’ he slurred, tugging on your wrist to get you up and dragging you to the bedroom.

Let’s have another baby – that was his brilliant idea. Had you both not been such poor drinkers, one of you would’ve thought this through.

Nevertheless, you were glad that you didn’t. Because your little angel, who could sometimes be more of a tiny demon, to be frank, was the single sweetest thing to ever exist on planet Earth. He had his entire family wrapped around his little finger, and you – most of all. How could anyone blame you? That troublemaker was the spitting image of his dad and had a personality to match — just as playful and affectionate.

The chill spring breeze from the window licked at the bare skin of your arm, causing you to shiver slightly, coming back from the land of reminiscing. You stretched on the bed, noticing how protruding your nipples became from the cold even while hidden by the gentle fabric of your nightgown. Pulling the covers up, you grunted under your breath, wondering what was taking Baekhyun so long.

Just as you did, the door cracked open, and your husband sauntered into the room.

‘Ah finally, I thought I needed to go rescue you again,’ you chuckled.

That had happened before. He once used the common bathroom to shower before bed and ended up captured by your daughter, who was around six or seven at the time, in the hallway. She then demanded cuddles, knowing that her father was too weak to turn his precious girl down and send her back to bed. You found them both huddled up asleep on the couch, with your husband’s head tilted dangerously to the side. Terrible sleeping postures always had consequences, so you spared him the agony of the next morning, waking him up mercifully and helping to get your little girl to her bed. This was only one of many occasions – Baekhyun was a softie.

This time, however, he was a bit stupefied.

He didn’t react to your remark and seemed like he was going on autopilot when he came closer and sat on the bed.

You lifted the covers, inviting him to join you, and he followed your lead, still staring at the wall across the room.

‘Yeobo,’ you called, getting slightly alarmed. ‘Are you okay?’

He blinked, the stupor breaking, and looked at you with astounded eyes.

‘I- I think,’ he began, making you shift to face him properly. ‘I think I just overheard our daughter watching porn!’

His voice lowered to a whisper by the end of that sentence.

‘Oh my god,’ you whispered back. ‘How do you figure?’

‘I was walking down the hallway, and I thought I heard something from her room. I didn’t fully register what it was, but now that it processed… It was definitely porn!’

The signs of distress on his face almost caused you to break down in a fit of laughter. You held it in with all you got. Fathers and daughters, the eternal struggle.

‘First of all, ew. Aren’t you even a little bit ashamed to be eavesdropping on your kids like that?’ You didn’t let him protest. ‘Also, how do you even know it was porn, you know she sometimes mumbles and whimpers in her sleep. Like someone else we know…’

Giving him a pointed look, you leaned over his chest to turn the lights to the lowest mode, leaving the room dimly lit. It was always effective when you wanted to help him relax.

‘I wasn’t ea- And you think I can’t tell what porn sounds like? There are some generic… sounds. That give it away.’

‘When was the last time you watched it?’ You murmured, eyeing him curiously.

Of all people, you knew best how short his attention span was. Sometimes it could work to your advantage. Like right now, when you needed to de-escalate this before you could reason with him.

‘I- wh- I don’t know, probably when you were pregnant,’ he recalled. ‘The third one was somehow the toughest on me. You looked way too attractive for a heavily pregnant lady, let me tell you.’

‘Heavily pregnant??’ You scoffed, softening right after. ‘Well, you have a point, he was pretty huge. I swear, if he doesn’t grow up to be taller than Chanyeol, I’d be offended. That boy’s giant head prolonged my healing by at least a month.’

Baekhyun sighed and looked up at the ceiling, thinking back to that time.

‘He was the only one who caused you to tear, right?’

‘Yeah. Which is weird, considering that he was my third one. Ah well, I guess I’m not getting any younger…’

‘Aren’t you though? I’m constantly being asked about my pretty young wife,’ Baekhyun smiled at you charmingly. ‘And you only became prettier after the third pregnancy. I say it’s the hormones.’

Your cunning little plan was working. He was incredibly easy to distract.

‘Tell me the truth, was it the boobs? Or my butt? I did gain the most weight with the little daredevil, that’s for sure.’

‘It was all of you. You always looked so sexy when pregnant, I just wanted to have you all to myself,’ he cooed at you. ‘To feed you handpicked strawberries. And smother you with kisses. My beautiful young wife.’

At some point during this conversation, you shuffled closer to each other, now cuddled up snugly on the bed. Your finger slowly traced abstract patterns on his chest, happily exploiting the access to his skin where his pajama shirt was unbuttoned.

‘Ah, you’re just saying that to get under my nightgown,’ you batted your eyelashes at him, and he shook his head.

‘Maybe a little, but that’s true. And it’s not surprising that people are noticing – you are younger than me.’

‘A couple of years is nothing at our age,’ you murmured, bending your knee and moving your leg slightly up his to get cozy.

‘Well, you know what people say… Small kids make parents younger. Wanna have another one?’ He nudged you gently and laughed at the dirty look you gave him.

‘Yeobo- please don’t make jokes like this. I’d rather look for other elixirs of youth than go through that entire ordeal again.’

You knew that he was kidding, but the thought made you shiver.

‘I know, honey, I know. Like I said, you’re not in need of any elixirs.’

At this you relaxed, melting into his shoulder, and guiding his arm to wrap around you, warming your exposed shoulders.

‘Well, Mr Byun, same to you. Still as charming as two decades ago.’

‘Hey, I’d like to think that I’m more charming now. The experience and all.’

‘Who helped you gain all that experience though?’ You poked him lightly, and a low chesty laugh escaped his lips.

‘Of course, it was my one and only, my young, and beautiful, and smart and sexy little wife,’ he punctuated each compliment with a chaste kiss to your cheeks, nose, lips, and neck.

You squirmed in his arms.

‘Ah, you make a woman go mad,’ you purred into his lips mockingly.

He snickered softly, ready to lean in, but then stopped abruptly.

‘Wait a second- What about-’

‘Baekhyun…’ You murmured as he fussed on the bed.

‘I should probably go in there, and-’

‘And what? Embarrass your daughter?’ You held him down. ‘She’s sixteen, honey, it’s just the hormones. We’ve both been there. Let her be.’ You nuzzled his neck, pressing your lips to his sensitive skin lazily.

His mind was growing cloudy again since your hand was now caressing his inner thigh foxily. He’d probably realized what you were doing by now, but you were right, so he allowed you to sway him into giving the idea of an immediate intervention up.

‘Besides, I’m sure you wouldn’t be nearly as appalled if that was our eldest,’ you scoffed and added in an exaggerated tone. ‘Never took you for a sexist.’

‘But- he’s eighteen, and she- she’s my little girl…’ He mumbled in a small voice, hazed further by your not-so-subtle seduction. ‘I can’t let her- watch that-’

‘Don’t worry, yeobo,’ you whispered soothingly in his ear, slipping your hand into his loose pants. ‘I’ll talk to her tomorrow. Without you. No need to traumatize the poor girl, that’s how daddy issues develop.’

‘You should know,’ he bit back meekly, sighing when you finally wrapped your fingers around his semi-hard length.

‘The sass! It’s almost like you still got it, Mr Byun. Care to impress that young wife of yours?’

‘I sure will, you cunning woman,’ he growled playfully, completely giving in to it and attacking your laughing mouth as he lifted the covers over your head.

ANOTHER REQUEST HDSFKLDSJHF IM SO SO SO SO EXCITED! i wanted to change up the setting so it’s still 6th member itzy, but not in weekly idol :P ALSO this was inspired by when nct dream, itzy, and stray kids sat next to each each other in that one award show so yeah lolol. what is love?

mark knew the general idea of it; the sappy moments movies show, the “butterflies in your stomach” feeling books portray, the pain and hardships songs make you feel.

but he’s never been in love, at least not like this.

❝ how could it be as sweet as candy? ❞

training at such a young age molded mark into the perfect idol, and with that he was fully aware dating would look bad to the public. he accepted the fact that he might never find love, all to help achieve his dream.

but as cheesy as it sounds, the canadian wished to be loved.

yes he was loved by his members, his family, his friends, his fans; but the type of love he longed for was something none of them could give him.

mark wanted to feel the sweetness of being in love, the giddiness you’d feel whenever you talk to them, the pounding of your heart whenever they’re near. he wanted to experience the overwhelming need to be with that person, like if they’re gone for too long it’s like you can’t breathe.

was being in love like making a song for the very first time? or was it like eating watermelon all the time?

so many questions with no answers, the boy left to wander in his own thoughts.

❝ how it’s like flying in the sky? ❞

he smiled bittersweetly as the newly wed couple danced around in confetti, the sound of laughter and cheers resonating around the room. one of nct’s managers that had been with them since the beginning invited them to her wedding, to which the team obviously accepted.

all 23 of them were happy for their noona who found her happy ending. mark could only watch in awe at the sight of the two lovebirds, the love and adoration for the other evident in the way they looked at each other.

his heart tugged a bit knowing he wanted something like that too.

“being in love is like flying in the sky.” his manager explained to the boy as a makeup artist experimentally brushed strokes on her face. it was a couple hours before the ceremony when mark knocked on her hotel door, wanting to visit his favorite noona before she finally said ‘i do’.

his question left his mouth before mark could fully register what he was about to say, the poor boy flushing a bit as the woman laughed at him.

“are you in love mark? is that why you’re asking me how i knew i was in love?” she teased as mark stutterd, denying her accusation.

“n-no i swear!” he said as his manager continued laughing, the makeup artist having to pause a bit to let her get it all out. “i’m just curious.” mark said quietly trying to stop the heat from rushing up to his cheeks.

“well being in love is a magical feeling.” the woman said, turning a bit serious. mark sat up straight as he listened intently. “when you realize you love someone, it can be a scary thing. love isn’t perfect mark, and i want you to know that. there are moments where you want to scream and rip your hair out, or cry to let it all out.”

the boy nodded in understanding, having a bit of knowledge from all the good breakup songs taylor swift writes about.

“but it can also change your whole world.” she continued on. “it’s like seeing the world again for the very first time and the colors are more vibrant. it’s like having a permanent reason to be happy, and a reason to stay.” she explained as the mark sat quietly trying to comprehend it all.

❝ i wanna know know know know, what is love? ❞

the poor boy’s head couldn’t wrap around the thought of you.

his heart hammered in his chest as he secretly glanced at you, desperately trying to avoid suspicion from fans and his members. you were just too breathtaking, having the canadian looking back for more.

the moment he first laid eyes on you, it was like an epiphany. you were the answer to all his questions.

so this is what it feels like, mark thinks to himself as he looks back on all the things he’s heard about love.

the butterflies, the pounding of your heart, the “seeing the world in a whole new perspective”, mark felt everything and as much as he felt excited, he was scared.

as harmless as it sounds, award shows were a risky thing for idols. being surrounded by fans of different groups as well as said groups themselves always seemed to cause a bit of a stir between fans.

between dating rumors and rumors about beef between two idols, anything could happen.

but usually mark would be okay. he’s been doing this for a long time and knew how to behave.

however what he didn’t expect was to see you, the tiny rookie idol from the newly debuted girl group ‘itzy’.

nct 127’s table was right next to yours which let mark have a clear view of your pretty eye smile as you laughed at something lia had whispered into your ear. your laugh was bubbly and contagious, the boy having to physically stop himself from wanting to laugh too.

he was panicking, but mark couldn’t tell if it was in a good or bad way.

❝ what does love feel like? ❞

your breath hitched as you saw the boy sneak glances at you from the corner of your eye.

the mark lee was looking at you, your heart racing as you tried to deny the fact that he was staring you down. there was no way the dude you’ve looked up to your entire trainee life is noticing you, no way at all.

everyone has heard of mark lee even if you weren’t into kpop. he was just that iconic.

you’ve been an nctzen since the very beginning, being there for nct u’s debut stage. in fact, nct was the very reason you decided to audition to become an idol in the first place. you looked up to the team but more importantly you looked up to a certain canadian in the group.

originally doyoung was your bias in nct when nct u first came out. but as the years passed by you found yourself more and more intrigued by mark, having him absolutely wreck your bias list.

since then you’ve been a loyal mark stan, even rapping his part in cherry bomb for your audition tape which ultimately led you to become an idol yourself.

you refused to believe you were in love with the dude, not knowing a single thing about him. there was no way you could love him, not if you’ve never even met the boy.

but your heart seemed to prove you wrong as it beat wildly knowing mark was sitting right there on the table next to you.

“you okay bubs?” lia asked in a worried tone, leaning in to whisper into your ear. she saw the way your leg bounced in a fast rhythm, knowing you only did that when you were nervous.

you forced a smile as you hesitantly looked her way, knowing that she could take one look into your eyes and know you were lying. “i'm fine unnie, don’t worry about me.” you replied as sweetly as you could, wishing the elder wouldn’t notice a thing.

though you two and yeji were the eldest in the group, all being born in the year 2000, you were the baby of the unnie line. lia and yeji knew you the best, having grown up with you after all.

the girl only gave you a look before taking your hand in hers to give a soft squeeze. “i know you’re lying but i won’t push you. also mark lee from nct 127 is totally checking you out.” lia said, whispering a bit on the last part. she winked as you flushed, looking away in horror.

johnny nudged the boy next to him with a small smirk, clearly seeing the heart eyes he was giving the girl in the table next to them. mark jumped a bit at the feeling, looking at his hyung with confusion.

“so y/n of itzy?” johnny said with a small smile as the younger immediately sat up straight.

“is it that obvious?” mark whispered back with a hint of fear in his eyes.

if any of the fans were to get a hold of this… the boy could only shiver at the thought.

johnny’s playful smile dropped a bit at mark’s worried look knowing how he must feel. they were idols after all.

“don’t worry, i only noticed because she was looking back at you too.” he said, mark flushing at the revelation.

“really?” he asked a little out of it.

“i say talk to her after this?” the elder said, laughing a bit when mark jumped in his seat, immediately saying no.

“unnie why are you making me stay in the dressing room~” you whined as the end of the award show came along.

you just wanted to go home, your body worn out. not from all the dancing but from the way it viciously pounded in your chest whenever you ever thought about mark.

lia only smirked in retaliation as she brought a hand up to squish your cheeks. “trust me, you’ll thank me later.” she said as she walked out of the dressing room, bumping into a 6 foot tall boy with a smaller boy behind him.

“oops sorry.” she said a little playfully, as lia gave a wink to johnny knowing their plan was going accordingly. johnny only gave her a small smile, but if you looked closely you could see the mischief in his eyes.

“hyung where are we going?” mark asked, a little weirded out by the two’s interaction. johnny only ignored the boy, dragging him by his arm as they walked down the hallway.

“hyung i swear if this is a prank i’ll-” mark’s words were cut off as the two entered a door, only to see your confused face staring back at him.

“oh shit.” he cursed under his breath, a little taken aback from how beautiful you were. one whole award show later and you were still as gorgeous as when he first saw you sitting down in the table next to his.

your confused face quickly turned to an embarrassed one as you noticed the boy, turning another shade of red when you noticed he couldn’t take his eyes off of you.

“hi y/n, my name is johnny and this is my band mate mark.” the taller boy said, holding his hand out in a handshake.

“h-hi i’m y/n.” you stuttered, not expecting to see the boy you’ve been daydreaming about for the past two hours to be right in front of you.

mark gawked at the sight of you, his mind malfunctioning as the words seemed to get stuck at the tip of his tongue.

“markie right here has something he wants to ask you.” johnny said, pushing the younger in front of him with a grunt.

this seemed to knock him right out of his trance, a hand coming up to the back of his neck as he stared down at the floor with pink cheeks.

“do you maybe wanna-”

“yes.” you blurted out, a hand covering your mouth in shock. “i-if you were gonna ask if i wanted to hang out sometime, the answer is yes.” you said a little shyly as the boy smiled.

all this time mark thought he was gonna find love, but maybe love found him instead.

“i’ll pick you up at 6 tomorrow evening.” mark said with a sweet smile as he took a step back only to be pushed back up again by johnny.

“you don’t even have her number you dumbass.” the elder scolded, disappointed at how dumb the boy was.

your laughter caught both of the boy’s attention as you put your hand out with a small smile. “you want my number or nah?”

You couldn’t sleep the whole flight, your nerves getting the best of you. It has been months since you left Seoul to fulfill your dream to study abroad.

It has been months since you last spoke to her.

“what do you mean Europe?” you knew you should have told her earlier. Her, your best friend among everyone. The woman you unfortunately loved. “You’re going to another continent for months and you decided to tell me two days prior?” you could tell Hwasa was angry but could you blame yourself? If you had told her since you got the news she would want to spend even more time with you. Be the last days with you. And that would only make your heart ache even more.

“I wanted to tell you before but…” the voice got stuck in your dry throat, you had no valid excuse except for the fact that you loved her and leaving her behind would hurt you.

“I thought we were best friends Y/N…”

“We are! Hyejin please don’t do that. I know I was wrong for not telling you earlier, but I was afraid. Please understand me” you took a step closer. She took a step back.

You could feel your heart shatter in your chest, she was angry, and she had the right to be.

“Afraid of what? Hurting me?” you nodded, not caring to hold the tears anymore. “I got news for you Y/N, you already did”.

Those were the last words she ever said to you. And to be honest, it couldn't hurt any more.

Your phone started to buzz by your side, Wheein, her childhood best friend and also your friend, was the one sending you messages.

After you left Hyejin hasn’t spoken to you at all, avoiding your messages and calls. You gave up after a while, going to her friend to get some news about her.

You heard one of the cabin crew women announce the landing and within less than an hour you were stepping into Seoul's lands after months.

You searched through the crowd of people at the place looking for the familiar face, which you found holding a lovely poster with the words “welcome home cheater” and Moonbyul by her side. You ran to them, hugging their bodies tight and crying.

“I can believe you’re finally here!” the youngest told you with a smile, holding your shoulders and looking at you like a mother. “You’ve changed… but for the good. You look amazing”

“You mean tired” you joked with her, you probably looked like trash after hours inside a plane.

“Just a few bags under the eyes but nothing like a nice and warm shower won’t help” the eldest smiled, helping you with your bags. “welcome back kiddo”

The three of you grabbed your stuff and headed to Wheein’s house. The ride was fun, the girls were filling you with questions and more questions about the country you were in, the people, the culture, they sounded like little kids and it helped you get your mind out of Hyejin.

“Go take a shower first, then come to the kitchen” the singer said as soon as you arrived at her place. Nodding and thanking her once again you headed to the well-known guest room where you used to crash when you went to parties together or when you got too drunk to go back to your apartment.

You let the warm water hit your head and shoulder, releasing some of the tension held there. You knew that, at some point, you would have to confront her, to talk to her, but you were too afraid she wouldn’t want to even after all these months. After all, she never answered your messages.

After drying your hair and putting on some comfortable clothes, you headed to the kitchen, distracted by your phone. “Tell me you made me s-”

“Hi” you stopped in your tracks and words when you saw her in front of you, standing in the middle of the room.

“Hi” came as a whisper, your heart beating louder than your actual words.

“I think I owe you an apology” you shook your head, denying. “No, I do. I was so childish for not understanding you and for not answering you all this time”

“I-it’s ok” you managed to get out before clearing your throat. “I was very stupid for not telling you before. I… I was afraid to tell you”

“Why?” you looked at her, your eyes always looking at the ground the whole time. “Why were you afraid to tell me you were finally fulfilling your dream to study abroad” the woman took a step closer to you. You didn’t move.

You didn’t know what to say or how to say anything without spilling your true feelings. “You know… While you were away I took some time for myself, to think about everything”

“It was good?”

“Yes. I realized a few things” you nodded, a sign for her to keep talking. She took two steps closer to you. “I realized that I got sad because I couldn’t spend your last days with you properly like you deserved. That I felt betrayed and unworthy of your trust. Did you not trust me? Wasn’t I your best friend?” Hwasa took a deep breath, getting right in front of you. So pretty. So close. “But then I realized I wasn’t your best friend. I would never be… because you don’t see me like it. And that’s ok because the most important thing I realized is that I don’t see you as mine either”.

Your mind was racing, traveling all over without knowing what to think or what to tell. What was she trying to say? It was what you thought it was?

Before you could say anything, her hands held your face in place so she could touch your lips with her soft ones. It felt like you were on cloud nine, in some kind of fantasy movie or even a dream, and if so, you didn’t want to wake up.

She broke the kiss, a smile on her lips that were touching yours seconds ago “I don’t see you as my best friend because I like you more than that. And I’m sorry I was such a bitch with you and letting you wait”

“Don’t worry. It was definitely worth it” it was your turn to kiss her, this time enjoying, even more, the touch of her skin on yours. “By the way, I like you more than a friend too”

“You owe me five bottles of soju. I told you they were in love” you heard Wheein screaming at the kitchen with Moonbyul, making you two laugh before sharing another kiss.

Being away for a while wasn’t so bad after all.

Brothers Conflict (Passion Pink) Part 1 - Asahina Masaomi Route

I am happy to announce that I will try my best to play Brothers Conflict in Japanese! Yes, it was Christmas so I splurged and bought Diabolik Lovers, Brothers Conflict and Norn9 hahahah. Hopefully I can do this! Apparently Brothers Conflict is an easy read because it's slice of life and uses normal everyday words so let's go! Ema and her squirrel Juli huh? That's kinda cute lmao. Anyway, I know the basic premise but it's kinda crazy to have like 11 new brothers, like wow. And her squirrel talks?! I guess it's nice to have a such a reliable squirrel "parent" for Ema since it seems so capable haha. I don't blame Ema for being so nervous though haha. Oh wow, Miwa (the lady Ema's father is remarrying) is rich and nice! Hahahaha, Ema thinks Masaomi is Wataru's dad, is he that old looking?🤣 Anyway, I know it's a game so Ema has to be surprised to know all these hot guys etc are her new brothers but if this was real life and I was nervous about meeting all these brothers by myself, I would definitely hope to have seen or have a photo of them with me lmao. Anyway, lmao at Wataru giving Ema candy for accidentally hurting her when he couldn't stop his bike in time lolll, who is the little kid here?!🤣 Awww, I don't like fan clubs but I do like Iori! He seems cool and kinda knows how to handle his fangirls. Ukyo mightttt be my type, we'll see🤣 Anyway, Ema is such a considerate daughter for not wanting to intrude on her father's newlywed life and deciding to live in the Sunrise Residence with all the other brothers, I would be so scared to live with a bunch of new random siblings lol.

Is a sunflower badge a symbol to show you're a lawyer or something? That's pretty cool! Anyway, Masaomi is the eldest son?! I totally assumed Ukyo would have been the oldest haha! Guess looks are deceiving. Hahaha, Ukyo calling him "nii-san" (older brother) is a shockk🤣 I admit that Kaname's purple kimono looks pretty cool, but dang, kissing the back of Ema's hand and then saying can he kiss other places too?! That's a great way to introduce yourself... I'm so glad Ukyo hit him for doing that lol. Lmaooo I thought Kaname was going to be a fashion designer of some sort but he's actually a Buddhist priest?! Wow lol. Oooh I like Tsubaki and Azusa's looks! They're cute, are they twins? Okay yep, they are. I love them already🤣 Omggg and they're both voice actors? They're getting cooler by the second🤣 I love how friendly Tsubaki is lol. I love how just as Ukyo hits Kaname for getting out of hand, Azusa does the same for Tsubaki lol. Lmao at Ema thinking to herself whether Tsubaki is "okay" in the sense of whether there's anything wrong with him because of how he talks hahahaa. Awww Subaru seems cute, he's shy with girls even though he's a university student! OMG Tsubaki is older than Subaru? I can't tell these age differences lol!! I like Iori a lot though hahaha. Lmao I thought Iori recognised Ema's school uniform because he knew girls from there but it was actually because Yuusuke (another brother) goes there hahaha, sorry my bad Iori. Tsubaki is so slack to hide from Yuusuke that they were going to have a new sister lolll. But his reaction was funny so I can understand. I find it hilarious how Yuusuke can't handle Ema being sad over him not approving of this loll, so he had to just agree to make her happy haha. HAHAHA, when Kaname asked Ema to call him "onii-chan" LOL, like geez dude!! And then even Tsubaki joined in🤣 I like Azusa, so I'm glad there was an option to call him onii-chan loll. I think it was pretty funny how they got her to keep calling them onii-chan lmao, it was nice how she played along with them and got to enjoy having so many siblings considering that it must have been pretty lonely with just her dad and he's probably busy working a lot of the time.

Awww that's so sweet, Ema woke up early hoping to make breakfast for the brothers! She's such an awesome sister. I have to agree with Ema, Kaname exercising early in the morning is a surprise haha. I honestly thought Ukyo would be the one there...and he is! Ukyo is the one who cooks breakfast and all the meals I guess! Lmao at the cute rabbit apron he wears🤣 Ukyo best boyyy! Omg Rui is pretty, I love his hair. But I find it so funny how he's like touching her hair and Ema is like so calmly just introducing herself to him lmao. Oooh, so we have another idol brother, lmao at Ema thinking the family were fans instead of him being a brother, like what are the chances that they would all be fans of him🤣🤣 Aww Mahoko looks like a cute best friend for Ema. Sasakura (the soccer ace guy) seems pretty friendly to offer to help Ema move. I have to agree with Ema though, Masaomi in work mode is nice to watch, I always think it's so sweet to see guys so kind and patient with kids (even though I don't like kids🥲). It was so sweet how Ema so honestly told him she would have liked a doctor like him when she was a kid, Masaomi blushing at her praise was actually pretty cute lol. Awww, his pocket is full of chocolates and other stuff as rewards for the kids! It's nice that he has a whole variety of stuff like stickers and mini cars since he doesn't want to give them too many sweets. It must be so heavy though lmao.

Fuuto sleeping CG is pretty cute~ LOL did he just say Ema is cute but it seemed like she's dumb?! Well, there goes your idol dreams, Ema lol. Lmao when he said she didn't deny it and said she's an idiot, like woww, way to go Fuuto, you're definitely an ass. He's probably traumatised or annoyed with his fangirls or something. I can so relate to Ema's rage, I would want to strangle Fuuto loll. Okay, I did something wrong and didn't realise I needed to go to the aquarium with Masaomi! Lmao at Ema saying all the fish are cute lol. Blushing Masaomi is so adorable though. It was so cute how he got embarrassed for not realising that he was really close to her, and it was so cute how Ema tried to explain that she didn't hate it and that it just made her heart beat really fast😂 Aww Ema and Masaomi both like small animals. Damn, these guys are rich, do they have a villa on an island?!! I think it's really nice how they all take the time out to go on holiday with the whole family there every summer vacation though. Considering how many of them there are and how busy they are, it's good to see that they try to make the effort to bond with each other. They've even got a private beach on a part of the island, danggg. Anyway, I love how welcoming the brothers are. I agree with Iori, Ema is really admirable to even do supplementary classes to help with going to her dream university, she's working hard!

You know, considering that these guys are her "brothers", I find it funny that they're quite unreserved towards the idea of doing date-like stuff with her loll! Like with the amusement park, Masaomi held her hand to keep it warm after she got a bit freaked out with the haunted house attraction lol! I guess considering the game, I should just throw that all out of the window and just enjoy it for what it is haha. I mean, I gotta admit, it's pretty cute. I guess it's not that cute after I looked at their character profiles and realised that Masaomi is actually 31 and Ema is like 16-17? Oh well, I guess I'll ignore that too😂 Aww, Masaomi seems like such a parent, he's sad that his brothers are older now and they don't rely on him as much for stuff anymore. I guess that would be something good but also sad to see. It's interesting how the dialogue changes when you get more hearts. It's like initially, Masaomi used to be like, nah I'm not free into yeah I'm free, and now he's just like let's go lol. I think the nicest change is that he used to leave to go somewhere else after their outing, but now he goes home with her. I think something that's nice to see is Masaomi "spoiling" her, like he doesn't do anything over the top, just simple stuff like buying her a strap, holding her bags etc, but I feel like because she's always lived only with her father, and now that he has a new partner, she's even more reserved towards not wanting to trouble others, so I think Masaomi treating her sweetly is nice. I find it so sweet how he understands her so well that he knows that she would feel bad about it, so he asks her to buy snacks for everyone in exchange. I love how Ema made a whole bunch of sandwiches on their zoo date, I love little picnics~ And it's so cute how she offered to make him lunch next time since he's always so busy with work that most of the time he just buys rice balls and sandwiches from the convenience store.

I'm so excited for their trip!! Lmao, I really want to see Ema's swimsuit now, considering how Subaru was so surprised by it, he told her to wear his jacket🤣 Aww playing with fireworks at the beach with Masaomi was nicee~ I think Masaomi really gives off that great big brother vibe that will ensure she'll never feel lonely, it's really heartwarming to see. Omggg there's the option to stay overnight in Masaomi's room now!! Not that anything happened (for now) since he just helped her study and she fell asleep there~ but it was really cute to know that Masaomi keeps all the letters he gets from his current and old patients, it's sweet that his room is "messy" because of it haha. Gotta love how Masaomi took his other futon to clean so now they have to share a futon lol, like how far away is Ema's room lolll! But anyway, it's fine I guess because it's cute~ It seems like from way back when he was a kid, Masaomi was already mature and stepped up to be the big brother that would help out his parents because they're so busy. I still wonder how he survives as a doctor if he nearly faints after seeing a little bit of blood lol, but yeah it's crazy how much of Masaomi's life revolves around his family. Even him choosing to be a doctor was because he wanted something stable, good income and have useful knowledge for taking care of his family if anything were to happen so that his parents wouldn't need to worry. He's such a good child. I found it so wonderful how Ema praised Masaomi for his work saying she could really see how much his patients really trust him and see how earnest he is with his work. Can't blame him for feeling so embarrassed hahahha. Okay, I'm dying at how sweet Masaomi's lines become. Now when you ask him on a date, he's like are you sure you want to spend your precious break day with me?! Hahaha, of course we do! And now when you ring his doorbell hoping to stay over, he looks forward to Ema being the one to ring it, I love it so much🥺 I find it so cute how he's more conscious of her staying over so late now hahaha. Omggg, he just asked if it was okay to share the same futon and Ema was like sure, awww that's so cuteee, they're practically together now lol. Omggg he confessed that he liked her when he thought she fell asleep! He even kissed her on the forehead! Awww!! I wonder how Ema will react now~

Kaname really loves to flirt with Ema allll the time doesn't he lol. Subaru blushing at Ema having baked his birthday cake for him is so cuteeee. Anyway omg, does everyone actually already like her?? Even Iori said he was happy that it was because Ukyo was busy so she ended up having to bake the cake and not because she wanted to since the beginning😮 Anyway, it was so cute how Masaomi said he wanted to be the first to congratulate her when she turns 20 (since they just came back from Subaru's 20th birthday), and okay, it seems like Ema lives kinda far from the guys?? Lol, I thought it was a shared house kinda thing. Anyway, their accidental kiss seeming led up to Masaomi giving her another kiss?! I feel like my heart was beating fast like Ema's lmao. LMAO when Masaomi offered a kid to ride on his shoulders to see the dolphin show properly (he even called himself an big brother/onii-san) and the kid still calls him an uncle/oji-san hahahaha. HAHAHA, I love how Ema readied herself to have Masaomi check her with a stethoscope (she was sick) since it feels embarrassing and she raised her clothes so high, he saw her bra or something lmao. LOL, Usa-tan sounds like an amazing doll that can shoot out stationery, record, be a calculator etc, like dang lolll. Omggg that Ema had to wear bunny cosplay for the school festival cafe, lmao when Yusuke saw it and was embarrassed lol. Ohhh, there's another older brother called Natsume who moved out of the mansion! I've lost track of how many there are honestly but Natsume is pretty good-looking. I'm so glad Azusa made Natsume apologise to Ema properly for being so rude to her when he didn't know who she was and reacted badly to her calling his name so familiarly. WHAT, TRIPLETS? Them being triplets is definitely a shock to me like whaaaat omg. Once again, impressed that Miwa had so many children and looks so good. I seeee, so Tsubaki and Azusa are identical but Natsume is fraternal oooo. Anyway, I was so shocked that I forgot to say I didn't even think about a wedding ceremony so I'm glad there is one for her father and Miwa hahaha. LOL when Miwa gave Ema the bouquet and told her if she likes any of her sons, she would help them hold the ceremony, like dang, she's already decided that she wants her new "daughter" to be like a true daughter loll. Gotta love it when your parents are supportive of you marrying your step brothers lolll. Anyway, seriously though, I guess that makes it easier for them later on with no parental drama haha.

It's so cute how Masaomi gives candy to Ema as a reward all the time hahaha. Well, Ema not being the real daughter of Rintaro was unexpected... I felt sorry for her when she found out and felt that she would be all alone if her dad told her the truth properly. I feel like Ema's always tried her best to be strong on her own because her dad was always busy, but he was family and she knew he would always be there because they're tied by such bonds so it was okay even if she was sad that she couldn't see him much, so I feel like her breaking down is understandable. I thought it was really sweet how Masaomi told her that he would always be by her side so she would never be alone, and that if she's still sad after talking to her dad, she can always go to him for help. It's sad that her parents died so early in her life, but I'm glad Rintaro decided to take care of her instead of leaving her all alone in some institution. It was also nice that Ema got to hear what she needed to hear, which was that even if they're not connected by blood, Ema is still his daughter, and I think it really helped her insecurities to hear her dad properly tell her that.

Lmaooo when Ema thought Hikaru was Kaname's girlfriend😂 On the other hand, I'm not sure what to think about Tsubaki and Kaname being "moe" to little sisters lolll, but I guess at least they're quite frank and obvious about Ema totally being their type lolll. Anyway, I guess now we've seen all the brothers! I knewww Miwa was going to ask Masaomi to go to an omiai but danggg. Especially since he's the oldest brother so I guess it was to be expected in his route. Awww I love how Masaomi so honestly told the girl he had someone he liked. I legit can't wait until they both tell each other their feelings, I'm so excited!! Lmaooo, Masaomi in a Santa Claus costume looks so funny hahaha. Awww he bought Ema a Christmas present!! It's nice that Masaomi gave Ema her very own Usa-tan! Anyway, omggg Azusa and Tsubaki are sooo close, it's actually kinda cute how much they love each other haha. I loved how Ema properly thanked all the guys during the Christmas party for looking for her when she ran away after realising her dad wasn't blood related to her, and I loved how they told her it was natural since she's family. When he hugged her thanking her for always encouraging him and supporting him, it was so cuteee, I love how much Ema loves seeing the serious Masaomi that dedicates himself to saving people however he can.

Masaomi is usually so tired from work, but I love how he's always like Ema is always welcome to visit his room! I think it was especially cute when Ema was about to go back knowing that he didn't get much sleep and she woke him up, but he knew that she wouldn't randomly just come to annoy him for nothing, so thankfully he got her to not feel like she was bothering him and gave him the chocolate~ Masaomi blushing is always the cutest~ Lmaooo Ema is like a pro gamer😂 I found it so funny how Subaru and Ema just told Yusuke to pick up items because he's weak😂 Awww Masaomi was sad that Ema didn't react to the pink heart necklace he gave her through Usa-tan! To be fair he did do it in a really roundabout way so I guess it's understandable that she didn't notice it, but luckily she did lol, so now she doesn't need to misunderstand that he thinks of her as just a kid. Ohhh, I thought Masaomi was just jealous that Ema was having fun with Subaru and them, but it was actually because he thought that Ema would probably have more fun and be more happy with a guy around her age and that's why he was sad🥺 I'm so happy that they both told each other their worries and how much they enjoyed their time together. Ema definitely was more brave to say she wanted to always stay beside him though haha. Lmao at Masaomi having eaten so many sweets at that shop he bought the white day presents for Ema loll. Anyway, I didn't realise Fuuto was actually like 2 years younger than Ema, considering how arrogant he seemed, I thought he was around the same age lol. Anyway, I obviously rose the wrong stuff and didn't get the best ending LOL. I was so sad when Masaomi was like, you'll always be my sister or something and it ended, and I was like excuse meeee!? Anyway, I redid the whole thing LOL. I knew that Masaomi had to get over the blood thing if something happened to Wataru so I'm glad Ema was there to kinda wake him up to do that haha. I missed out Ema in a kimono CG!! She was so beautiful!! And omggg, their wedding and expecting a baby endings were nice~ Definitely worth me going through all that again just to see it lol.

Overall, if you can ignore the fact that Masaomi is like 30 and Ema is 17, then this route was quite nice. Well, to be fair, the whole premise is a grey area so I guess the age gap shouldn't be a problem for most who decide to try this game haha. Anyway, I really liked Masaomi. He's like the oldest brother that's super caring about his family, but also a bit childish, maybe because he's kinda like Wataru's father lol. I thought Masaomi was the one who took care of most of the brothers but Masaomi got too busy with his job so that kinda fell on Ukyo instead, which I'm looking forward to in the future! But yeah, I really loved how kind, gentle and sweet Masaomi was all the time, and I really liked how much he had that nice older brother vibe that I super dig lol. You can say, he really soothed my heart LOL, like every time I spend some time going through the route, he always makes my heart warm and makes me smile because of how kind he is, and I just really loved that. I always love how he always takes interest in his patients' interests and does his best to understand them so he can better interact with these kids and make them have an easier time in the hospital. Anyway, I'm super proud of myself that I was able to finish this route in Japanese!! I probably didn't understand 100% of it, but I think I got most of it and I'm so happy about that! I probably spent wayyy too much time on the dictionary searching for kanji but I can definitely see the progress and I'm looking forward to finishing all the routes! It's still kinda crazy to me though, like I still remember once upon a time, I really wanted to play this game and honestly hoped for a localisation one day, but now I've given up and decided to just practise my Japanese with it instead lol. It's interesting how things have come to be, but I'm excited for the rest~

Fruits Basket Another Kyoru Kids Headcanons That No One Asked For Based on Nothing More than My Own Dumb Brain:

Eldest (Hajime)

ok so we have some canon on him so this is the only one with any basis in canon reality lol

very protective of his siblings, loves them very much

like his mom, he tries way too hard to help everyone around him, and like his mom, this doesn't always manifest in healthy ways

like tohru and kyo are great parents but they are still parents, and sometimes kids are hesitant to share things with their parents right away. hajime's siblings often go to him for advice first, usually over small things and usually his advice is sound, but he can sometimes feel burdened with other's problems

kyo notices this and reminds his son that his problems are important too, and makes sure his son knows that he can come to him with any of his own concerns (ala how he does the same for tohru)

soft-hearted, very good boyfriend material UwU probably marries the first girl he dates out of highschool lol

Middle Son

Allllmost Tohru 2.0. Very sweet and sensitive as a child.

Appears happy-go-lucky but goes thru dark periods (heart too pure, world too cruel lol)

Likes to help his mother cook (it's when they have the best conversations, and his favorite way to get 1-on-1 time with his mom)

Struggles to find his place in the world. Has a bit of a crisis of masculinity (not one of gender but more how it manifests--his dad and brother are more traditionally masculine and so he's not sure how his brand of masculinity is modeled in life and relationships (and OK this kind of ignores the spectrum of men on furuba ie momiji but let's assume he hasn't quite realized that))

this of course is not something his family has put on him--kyo and hajime don't impose any one way to Be A Man onto him--this is more how he's been influenced by his culture

like hajime, he's protective over his little sister. they become closer when hajime starts highschool and they see less of him; takes his duty as Big Brother and Advice Giver very seriously

while the rest of his fam goes the more traditional/domestic route after graduation, he travels the globe after school and it really helps him come into his own

becomes a professional chef, specializes in foreign cuisine (french perhaps?)

very content with himself after this--in the end, as an adult he's a lot like a very cheerful Kazuma

either doesn't marry or marries very late in life. loves kids but is content not to have any of his own; dotes on his nieces and nephews

Youngest Daughter

Hyperacticve, has a temper, is very passionate and loud... not Kyo 2.0 but actually Kyoko 2.0

I always read which group people want before reading. To see who pops in my head 1st. Honestly he was the only one that popped in my head was TaeTae. It also helps that you & Jimin have the same MBTI. Which shows y’all will match very well. Plus both of y’all are the oldest in your family & he is very family orientated. He loves animal & children. He seems very outgoing & adventurus. I can see y’all walking around night gazing. You like the sound of piano & guitar, Tae seems to like soft tone & relaxing music. This is a group I haven’t been able to get into, even though my friend got into them. I actually learn about them when I started doing this. But my life motto is Hakuna Matata and I totally love that song, if y’all haven’t heard Wave from Ateez listen to it, it’s a bop okuuuuuuurrr… lol

I wanted to play it safe, by choosing Hongjoong … According to their recently MBTI results him & San are both INFP, which means they do pair up well with ENFJ. 1) Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?

No; Essätha is the eldest of four, and does not know her other siblings. The closest sibling in age range to her is in their early twenties, about a decade’s age gap. The closest sibling-like relations she has is with a Tiefling she grew up with back home, who is roughly 5(?) or more years older than her.

2) What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?

Hepsiba was supermom and idol to Essie. Essie adored, and still adores, her mom. Hepsiba displayed a constant generous, open-minded, warm attitude that helped to shape a lot of Essie’s values. They got along wonderfully, and even as a youngster Ess’ showed a lot of respect and willingness to listen to her mothers words of wisdom.

3) What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?

The same as it was as a child as it is now: nonexistent. In Essätha’s heart however, there is a lot of bitterness towards a man who left her and her ailing mother behind, also leaving her to learn little to nothing about him save through stories.

4) Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

Oh, plenty. The treatment of her and others like her (Solace, her mother, non-humans automatically defined as ‘evil’ races), the death of her mother, deaths in general (sometimes that she blames on herself), so on. I’m sure some party members have a vague understanding her distance and seclusion is branched off of bad treatment due to her race, for instance. Some folks; like Sol and Kraw, could probably identify quite a few of Essie’s ‘flaws’ and where they steam from. Amon is beginning to learn more and more about some of her ‘quirks’ too.

5) On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

Lint, spare coins not put in her coin purse, a Green Bean, maybe something sharp and pointy that could be used for lock-picking or stabbing someone’s hand lol. Spare hair ribbon probably too.

6) Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

7) Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

Huehuehue… Pre-campaign I think Ess’ had more dreams centered around the loss of her mom and people hunting her and/or attacking her, belittling her, blaming her for all the wrong in the world. Some were personal, based off people she ‘failed’, killed, or feel she killed/wronged. Now I’m sure when she has a night terror it’s probably geared more towards the Raven Lord, Alexis’ and the wolves, the assassins breaking in, seeing her party members hurt/troubled, seeing the hurt and fear in Amon’s gaze, seeing him jailed, imagining all the things that could go wrong and losing m’lord… >:3c You know. Normal Nightmare Stuff nothing to be Concerned about.

8) Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target?

I’m going to change ‘gun’ to ‘bow’ becuz fantasy. Ess’ is trained in both a regular bow and a crossbow. Her first ever bow-related target outside of hitting a fucking tree was killing a deer, per Kraw’s orders. Lots of tears shed over the damn deer. Lots of tearshed over learning to hunt in general rip my baby.

9) Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up?

Pretty much the same. Money is probably more readily available in Essätha’s life. Pre-campaign likely because of the occasional pick-pocketing. Now becuz she gets paid for kicking butt. Keep it up girl.

10) Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?

Situational based. Weirdly the less you know her, the more exposed Ess’ is willing to be, because, hey, when are you going to see her again? She might be nervous or edgy in crowds but otherwise w/e man. A lil more skin sometimes gets the gurl you know what I’m sayin’…. The more acquainted she is with someone, the more she fears ridicule, staring, judgment, and the more she wants to hide herself. Give her lots of time to gain confidence, and build trust, and she’d probably be okay being naked around you… so long as you aren’t obviously oogling her. Unless you’ve ahem, earned that level of faith from her where she wants your eyes on her.

11) In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

I would say there’s four instances that stand out the most. One, the first night alone as a toddler after her mother passed away. Two, her first murder, in which she thought she was going to die therefore killed in self-defense. Three, learning that the Raven Lord is probably some kind of god or demi-god being seeing how they killed the Master Arcanist. And four… ‘Not him. You can’t take him.’ …Use your imagination.

12) In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?

As a babe, listening to mom sing her to sleep… and at night, in Amon’s arms, when all hope feels lost and then they snuggle up and it just… it’s okay. They can deal with it tomorrow, one step at a time.

13) Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?

No. She’s a lady of course not asdjgakl -

14) Does your character remember names or faces easier?

I’m gonna say faces, she seems more ‘creative inclined’ than ‘analytic inclined’.

15) Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?

Yes! But less so then she thinks. Due to a life of lacking these things, Essätha thinks owning lots of fancy, expensive things will fill a void inside her. She also believes having money and a big house will give her a sign she’s ‘made it’; that she’s secure, that she’s above what everyone says about her… At the same time, fearing it, because of the additional ridicule it may bring (“ah, a Yuan-Ti Pureblood with riches and power?? Must be after Something.”)

16) Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success?

Happiness. It’s quite literally her dream. Sadly as stated above, she grew up thinking happiness was linked to the things you own but mm… she may be learning differently…

17) What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?

Mr. Hiss!! It was a homemade stuffed snake toy; couldn’t be more than a couple inches made of spare materials her mom had, and button eyes. She played with that thing till it was limp of stuffing, soiled, and raggedy but sadly a bratty kid tossed it into the town’s river so… no more Mr. Hiss. :( She’d have kept that toy all her life otherwise because it was so precious to her.

18) Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?

Ambition. Because you can be ambitious to do a lot of things; become wiser, become stronger, become kinder. Being wise is cool, but having the drive to become more is sexy.

19) What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

I’d say an inability to trust or commit. In terms of romantic relationships, she’s never held a significant one; mostly one-night stands or brief flings for a while before moving on; never wanted anything more than that. In terms of making friends, oh yeah. Being unwilling to open up or fully engage herself into the relationship has made people weary of her, her motives, and in turn close off from her. If you’re too scared to meet others half-way, eventually they give up on you.

20) In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

In every way; looks, intelligence, status, etc. Mostly she does this as a way to degrade herself. ‘Oh she’s beautiful, and no awkward scaly patches’. ‘I shouldn’t have bothered speaking up, they clearly knows more on this subject.’ ‘Whoop look at the poor girl in rags compared to these guys Yikes-’. When she’s feeling Snobby and Righteous she might do it for the sake of validating her stance; such as being Right and making someone look stupid so she can gloat and grin smugly at them. More often then not though, she compares herself to make herself feel Worse.

21) If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?

Essätha is the Absol pokemon. If bad things occur, it is she who brought the rain, the drought, the heartache, the doubt, the misery. She’s a magnet for bad things and bad omens. It’s somehow her fault; something she said, or did, or a past mistake came back to haunt her and she screwed up, again.

22) What does your character like in other people?

Ooof, lol, well kind, gentle souls. People who have the ability to grow. Natural nurturers. Those who can be strong for others. Those strong in general; solid, comforting, in the ways that matter. Non-prejudice. Physically she’s got varied tastes; from thick and juicy to lean and swift.

23) What does your character dislike in other people?

Cruelty, judgment, those who take advantage of others, aka ugly on the inside. Physically she’s not into unhygienic individuals, doesn’t typically go for super scrawny or so many muscles they look like they’re in a constant flex.

24) How quick is your character to trust someone else?

To put it simply, given the chance, no one in the Hand of Jubata/Noisy Bastards would have found out she’s a Yuan-Ti until a super-necessary moment; or years later, if ever. She’s always hesitant to put trust into others. But she wants to believe the best outta people so if it comes down to basic trust and not trusting someone with secrets about her, she might be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (unless she gets a Bad Insight off them).

25) How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person?

Pre-campaign she was just edgy and distrustful. Now during campaign, anyone could be part of those Whispered Shadow cult, so she suspects 50% of this continent at least is out to murder them. If she’s close with the individual, she’s more likely to deny it depending on likability-level. For example, if we found out Barnabus was part of this deranged group, she’d outright be like, “this information is false that sweet man??? I do not think so. You are Wrong.”

26) How does your character behave around children?

Essie loves kids. How she acts depends on their personality; she’s always careful, and soft, and endearing but if they’re shy, she understands they might want more space. If they’re eager and active, she’s even more bubbly and willing to play with them. Mom Genes(TM).

27) How does your character normally deal with confrontation?

Time to talk her way out of this shit and either help this person learn to amend their lives or talk them down. If you’re clearly a bad person, or she can’t change you’re mind, she’s willing to whoop your ass. Rather avoid it if possible though unless you’re a truly bad person.

28) How quick or slow is your character to resort to physical violence in a confrontation?

*gestures @ the campaign* dis bitch has tried or talked the group out of so many fights so??? Pretty slow.

29) What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?

I don’t think Essie had a ‘dream job’; she probably just wanted stability, some place to call her own, happiness, simplicity, life to be ‘normal’. That dream... really has not been achieved.

30) What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?

Lack of hygiene. Certain foods probs like liver and onions. Rotted corpses obviously. Chewing with mouth open. Idk, things normally others find gross?

31) Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.

She’s laying in a large, soft bed with oversized pillows and a dense, warm comforter draped over her. There’s arms wrapped around her. The blanket smells familiar; like leather and pine and a hint of rosewater. She wiggles around in the sheets; can feel another body shift as well to get in a better spot. There’s warm breath on the back of her neck, and a solid shape to her back keeping her warm. It’s safe here. Goosebumps race up her arms. She thinks she’ll take a nap. She can feel the calluses on fingers tracing over the back of her hand, then her palm, until they find the spaces between her own. It’s amazing how beautiful and calm the world can be. Time seems to stop here. Everything will be okay.

32) Describe a scenario in which your character feels most uncomfortable.

She is herself but not herself. She can pick up more acutely the ever; the scents, the vibrations in the air, it’s more intense. She can taste the fear in the air; the hate, the disgust. Her movements are jerky; slithering, the scales on her body a different texture moving over dirt and grass. They are judging her. They are sickened. She can see the look in their eyes, and she is exposed. She is a disgusting creature. The only thing to belittle herself more is to change back; naked, small. They know. They all know. She can’t imagine the way he’s looking at her; too scared to check and see. He would never look at her the same.

33) In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?

I feel it really depends on what she’s being criticized for. I want to say in most cases she’s probably embarrassed and/or humiliated, but willing to listen. She may openly self-deprecate and still request they express how she can do better. I feel she mostly gets defensive around people she doesn’t respect and whose criticism then wouldn’t matter; or around topics she feels she knows more about (or definitely knows more about) and she’s offended they suggest she does not.

34) Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?

If there’s no ‘time crunch’, she may try the same method a second time before moving on to a different tactic. If it’s a panicked or life-risked situation, and the first method doesn’t work, immediately move on to idea two.

35) How does your character behave around people they like?

Bubbly, excitable, warm and affectionate. She can be stubborn and grumpy still, but for the most part she tends to wear her heart more openly and be more wild and teasing.

36) How does your character behave around people they dislike?

Closed up, silent-treatment, narrowed eyes, huffy, clipped phrases, crude, hissy. Typically she’s a bit bitchy and waiting for an out to get away from you.

37) Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?

Considering she has little status at the moment, probably her honor.

38) Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?

Essätha removes problems/threats… even if that problem/threat is herself.

39) Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?

This is such a were-creature questions HEH uhh, I would not doubt Essie has been bitten by an animal before. Largely she probably forgives the critter and its species. It’s probably her own fault she got bitten after all and she realizes that.

40) How does your character treat people in service jobs?

Respect! If she sees you treatin’ a service job employee like trash you’re garbage to her. Those are hard working people trying to make a living whomst the fuck are you?

41) Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

Pardon my hyena laughter but, Essätha doesn’t feel like she deserves much of anything. She certainly hasn’t earned to have what she wants. Maybe in time she’ll grow up a bit and learn it’s okay to have things; material or abstract, without feeling guilty or burdened. I’m sure at that time she’d feel she must earn it first.

42) Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them?

*stares @ Kraw, Abernathy, Barnabus, etc* She seems to pick up plenty of Those.

43) Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?

Mmm, I’m sure she’s temporarily looked after a younger person or taught someone here or there, yeah. Not for a significant span of time (not to say she probably hasn’t left a positive impact on others that haven’t forgotten her though).

44) How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

Oh ho ho ho~ I don’t think Ess’ has said that phrase to more than two people her whole life. It’s definitely not something she could say without meaning to. I can imagine her trying to say it to persuade someone to do something she wants but she just stands there, tongue-tied, unable to do so. It’s just three words, but it’s three very powerful words that can do a lot of good or evil. She wouldn’t want to abuse them or, make people lose faith in them (likeshehascoughs). She doesn’t want people to conceive her as a liar for misusing it before. She wants to be able to say it with heart, conviction, and certainty to someone she truly cares for… if she could ever work up the courage to do so.

45) What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?

I’ll admit: the afterlife isn’t probably something Essie thinks of often. I’d have to say believes in a heavenly ream, and hopes it will welcome her. I do believe she’s scared though because of her race, or any blemishes in her life she’s caused, that she fears she’s already got a one way ticket to hell.

Name five (5) bands or musicians that mean a lot to you personally and why then tag whoever else you are curious about.

I was tagged by @iowastubborn. Thanks! This is quite different from other meme I’ve seen and tbh it’s quite hard too since I’m not much of a music person. Some of the bands/musicians I decided to put on this list are not necessarily my top 5 favorite, but they do mean a lot to me. So, here goes.

1. Nobuo Uematsu

Final Fantasy was, i think, my first J-RPG, and it’s not until Junior High that I began to really play the game. What I think make Final Fantasy a Final Fantasy are not only the overarching story, deep characters, and immersive worlds, but also the beautiful soundtrack composed by the master of Game Music himself, Nobuo Uematsu. Granted, I may have loved the music because I loved the game, but that didn’t stop me from downloading all the piano collections, OSTs, orchestra version from almost every main entry; playing every one of them back-to-back every time back when I was a kid, be that when I was writing a story or studying for an exam to the point that I cannot study without listening to some music; and I even looked up the music sheet so I could learn to play them on my piano (and I managed to play some^^). Nobuo Uematsu is still one of my muses. No one can ever replace him. His music are all so iconic. Some are so beautiful and soothing while others so gripping and mysterious. But they are always sound majestic to my ears. My mom, who never even saw the game, loved his music when I showed them to her. Heck, I’ve never even played Lost Odyssey and The Last Story but when I listen to their music, I thought to myself, “Wow. You could tell these were composed by Uematsu.” Nobuo Uematsu is still my favorite music composer ever and it hurts me to know that he’s taking a sick leave from the industry. I hope that his illness is not too serious and that he’ll be able to get back on his feet and bring us again one of the best music in gaming history.

2. L’Arc~en~Ciel

I first know the band from the customized playlist my brother put in our GTA: Vice City. I think they were New World, Jiyuu e no Shoutai, and Ready Steady Go. I wasn’t into Japanese and anime back then so I never really tried to find out more about this band. It’s not until years later that I found out the name of the band and looked up more of their songs. I still haven’t listened much, but I have to say that those three songs that I first listened to when I was a kid have stayed with me all these years and they were the songs that introduced me to what the Japanese Rock genre is - vastly different from the western Rock genre I was more familiar with. New World, particularly, always helped me out when I was stressed with school that me and my friend practically screamed at the top of our lungs whenever we sang the song in a karaoke.

3. Queen

Found out about them from the 4th or 6th season of American Idol. They sang Bohemian Rhapsody and I don’t really know why but the song has stuck with me ever since then. Not to mention that my eldest brother had a playlist of their songs and this one time, he played it in the car when we were waiting for our parents and he began to dance my stuffed cat to Queen’s music. It was soooo funny that I couldn’t stop laughing. Anyway, their songs have always stuck with me since then.

4. Bump of Chicken

The second J-Rock band I was exposed to...I think. The first song I listened to was Karma from Tales of the Abyss and I LOVED IT! So much! And then there’s Zero, the theme song for FF Type 0, and though I haven’t played the game, the song always manages to pull at my heartstrings. I was still not too familiar with the genre, nor the band, until they released Hello,world but I have always loved their music. Imo, they don’t seem like most J-Rock bands out there. A lot of their songs are actually quite slow and the music is not very “rock” either. I’ve read some translations of their songs and their lyrics are quite poetic. Plus, I love Fujiwara’s voice! So, all in all, they’re just perfect.

5. Luck Life

A newer band compared to the others on the list and I only just discovered them a few years ago from Bungou Stray Dogs. Namae wo Yobu yo is still one of my favorite songs and yes, I think after listening their songs, Luck Life managed to solidify my love for the J-Rock genre (I’m not quite fond of Rock, but J-Rock always sound so different). Some of their songs are upbeat, some are slow and melancholy, and most of my favorite are from their earlier album. Every time I listen to their songs, I often find myself tapping my feet to the rhythm. Some I love so much that I keep listening to them on repeat. I love all the songs they have released and this is the first band that drove me to find out the meaning behind their lyrics.

Lol sorry this turned out to be quite a long post. And before I end this, can I just add two more names? They are Animenz and Seycara Orchestra, people who make covers of anime songs or create their own original music on youtube. The songs and covers they make are always so beautiful - Animenz with his god-like fingers over the piano keys and Seycara with those beautiful, soothing compositions. In fact, I love some of their covers more than the original songs lol and they have also accompanied me on my day to day life. However, both are on hiatus and have not released new music for a while.

I feel like giving a personal opinion on each of the members may seem better than just, ‘his age is etc. his birthday is etc.’ I may exaggerate bc I get over excited n all haha but here’s a quick intro to the members!

Seunghwan: He’s the eldest as well as the leader. He’s truly the father of the group, but he likes to play around just as much as the youngest members.He’s a rapper, but his vocals are amazing, really. He appreciates his members a lot; more often than not you’ll see him grinning proudly when the other members are leading the conversation, and my heart melts every time.

Yunsung: He’s is a living, breathing, actual angel! His vocals are amazing and he’s also really sweet and kind. He also tries to be funny, but usually his jokes end with the the group groaning at the cringyness but he never lets that him get to him. I feel like the other members go to him a lot for advice or to talk about problems, he seems like he’d lend a shoulder for you to cry on in an instant. I don’t think I can ever roast him bc he’s Too Pure For This World™.

Milo: two words - adorable baby,, Really, he’s an adult but he looks like a child because he’s so short and soft and I just want to hug him ?? But don’t let his cute face fool you - he’s an amazing and talented dancer, and he spends a lot of time making his own choreography. He’s really out going and he’s wild af

Minsung: A true visual - seriously, his looks are stunning and he know it. I make fun of him a lot because he has a quirky personality, but he likes to tease the most, so I think my actions and roasts are justified. It doesn’t seem like it, but he seems shy or insecure sometimes? Maybe it’s just me, you know. He seems like someone who might have been a real loner despite his good looks. According to the members he’s a really interesting and he talks about the weirdest things. Sometimes I like to think he’s in love with Hyunkyung

Kyle: You have Yunsung, who’s an angel, and then you have Kyle, a hell-spawn. The fact that they’ve been best friends since high school still surprises me. Like Yunsung, Kyle’s voice is amazing af, and his crooked teeth are actually childishly cute and seeing him wearing large sweaters is adorable?? But of course, he’s a real tease - but I enjoy him roasting the other members. You have got to see that one time he managed to bury all of their dignity in the ground it was wild

Hyunkyung: I want to say emo tall dude, but he’s hot and sometimes very kind. He’s also a living meme. He seems really social despite having the looks of a shy person and he as well as Kangmin know a lot of people from other groups. He excessively uses Snow filters and likes to exercise but I’m mad bc he never posts gym selfies. The other members say he thinks deeply about life n all that, and I can totally agree with that. I feel like he’s really close to all te members and really comfortable with them.

Kangmin: I love him? But I hate him?? He’s cute and social and his dancing is on point - but he’s a total meme and he kisses up to the older members so they let him hang out with “the cool older kids™” more often. He loves taking selfies more than doing homework. He learned a lot of different dance styles and my fav so far was popping n I’m really hoping he and Milo do a really cool collab one day

I think the hardest part of this request was designing the 16 kids and sorting them into the four houses. Some were easy (Fingon and his siblings, Maglor and Finrod), others were almost sorted randomly (like the twins). I didn´t write the age gaps because all of them wouldn´t find in Hogwarts at once anyways :”)

I wrote a little bit about every kid under the cut. they are to many!

Maedhros: I sorted him in Slytherin because he is a smart leader with great ambitions (getting back the Silmarils no matter what). At first I put him in Gryffindor with Fingon but I changed them both. He is probably a prefect and is an honor student. Very popular. He will work as an auror and get kidnapped by Death Eaters one day.

Maglor: He could be in Hufflepuff or in Slytherin (depends of which version of him you choose: the “cheerful big bro” or the “kinda emo and weird” one) But I sorted him in Ravenclaw due to his imagination. He isolates and starves himself but he is a very good artist. A living legend.

Celegorm: wasn´t his hair straight a second ago? Doesn´t matter. He is a Slytherin, and is able to talk with magi creatures. Plays Quidditch.

Caranthir: omg he is so cute I´m so proud of his design! He is a Gryffindor because he always feels challenged and wants to prove his value. Very agressive Chaser.

Cufurin: he is in Ravenclaw because his only wish is to becaome as powerful as his father (Minister for Magic) so he is only focused on his studies. Also he is very intelligent since he is able to solve any problem and creates useful stuff.

Ginger Twins: they are Gyffindor because they are the bravest of their entire family. Since they are the youngest their brothers oftenly command them to do everything. Specially Celegorm challenges them to make things impossible sometimes. They are also very loyal to their eldest brother.

Fingon: a Hufflepuff since he risked his life to save Mae. Has a soft spot for kids. Idk, he is too nice and sweet to not be a Hufflepuff. He will work as a n Auror as well.

Turgon: looks like the real big brother of them all. Ravenclaw since he thinks he is the smartest and will get angry if you don´t say so too. Focuses on his books (and “secret” gf) and wants needs to be the best. (He is basically Percy W lol)

Aredhel: Gryffindor. It´s clear. Nothing can stop her. She loves/hates Celegorm and follows him everywhere. Gets angry if she loses against the Slytherin team. Also, very jealous.

Argon: his eldest brother is his idol. He follows him everywhere and tries his best to mimic him. The poor kid didn´t make it into Hufflepuff and couldn´t dye his hair etiher. Also feels anxious because he is the only one at first who knows that Fingon is gay and flirts with Mae, and somehow knows that he can´t be like him anymore. The kid doesn´t find himself in a long time but then he ends up working in a very high spot in the Ministry of Magic.

Finrod: a very popular kid, basically Maedhros´ heir. He is nice and likes Muggles. He think they are cute ad very smart, with their technology. Maybe a blond and handsome Arthur Weasley?

Orodreth: much more mature than his brother. He has great projets as well, and takes care of everyone when his parents leave. He could have been a Slytherin as well. 50/50.

Blond Twins: I realised that I remembered nothing about these two (just like Orodreth) but I sorted them both in Ravenclaw because they would be almost the opposite than Amrod and Amras. They would be quieter and smarter, colder. They listen to their brothers... in a different way.

Galadriel: idk? it felt right to sort her in Slytherin? I don´t think she is brave, humble or smart. I think that, as the youngest of the kids, knows perfectly how to “survive” and rise above all her siblings and cousins. I see her rather manipulative. She gets what she wants.

Brief Analysis On All Jun Ships V2

Disclaimer: While this analysis is based on canon moments I’ve observed, all “conclusions” and assumptions are from my own biased perspective and should by no means be taken any more seriously than a grain of salt.

This analysis is slightly more analyze-y than the previous one (which was more similar to a moments compilation), so brace yourselves with walls of text.

With that said, let’s begin version 2 of the over-analysis -

JunCheol

As mentioned before, this ship rarely has moments, but whenever they do happen, it’s the purest and most genuine thing.

Personally, I still feel that this ship is possibly the Jun ship that is least aware of its existence, as in their moments don’t happen “on purpose”. Let’s face it, it’s obvious that idols know more or less about the whole shipping culture and actually use it to their advantage to a certain extent. Fortunately, idols are still human so it’s often quite easy to tell when they’re being forced into moments, like nervous blinking, hesitant arm raise, stiffening of shoulders, etc. But for JunCheol, everything they do is completely natural, and it may partially be because they’re both the type to like/have high tolerance for skin ship.

Unfortunately for JunCheol shippers, it is true that their moments seem to have decreased over the past year, but that is due to the fact that Jun no longer needs as much help, and S.Coups probably feels more comfortable with leaving him to take care of himself.

On the other hand, I feel that JunCheol’s relationship has evolved from the father-and-his-oldest-adopted-son to more of a “friend” level.

In Jun’s POV, S.Coups is probably the member he respects the most, both because of his position as their general leader, the eldest member, and his “manly hyung” image. He did say once that he admired S.Coups’ manliness and confidence on stage, though on the other hand S.Coups also commented that Jun’s a manly person when asked by a fan to write down Jun’s good points.

Of course, S.Coups still looks out for Jun a lot in the background, like when he’s dancing alone on the side or when he’s zoning off into Jun land. He also never fails to compliment Jun, whether it’s about his good looks or his improving Korean skills.

I know I’m just repeating myself over and over again with this, but JunCheol’s interactions are incredibly natural. Among other members (including other Jun ships), sometimes, just sometimes, there’s a bit of awkwardness involved in their moments, like the receiver of skin ship getting startled by the sudden initiation; but for JunCheol, neither of them bats an eye, no matter how sudden the action is. A recent example I would pull up would be that time when Jun peeled(?) something off S.Coups, and the leader just stood there obediently. In fact, he actually moved closer with his head tilted to make it easier on Jun. I read this as complete trust. In addition, S.Coups probably knows Jun well enough to guess what he was trying to do and caught on immediately.

Also, when they first performed the Crazy in Love choreo, S.Coups had his arm on Jun’s shoulder even though that part was not choreographed (since it never happened again after that one time).

In addition, Jun is a very hyper person by himself and around younger members, and the way he usually cheers people up is by rubbing their shoulders and making exaggerated faces; but when he saw S.Coups crying in Caratland, Jun just stood on the side quietly with a handful of tissues, and only handed them to him after he turned around. This is probably because he didn’t want to draw attention, S.Coups had his back turned because he didn’t want the fans (and possibly any of the other members) to notice. If this isn’t the most respectful thing, I—

Speaking of crying and hoping no one would see, Jun does the same thing, so it is possible that it’s easy for him to notice when others are hiding their feelings. This goes for S.Coups as well.

On another note, the reason why I said their relationship evolved to a friend level is because S.Coups seems to be dragging Jun a lot lately lol, whenever he’s, you know, being Jun. In earlier stages, S.Coups probably felt responsibility as his hyung more, and thus was only focused on looking after him. Now he’s become much more comfortable with making fun of him, like how he commented that Jun’s only quiet on cam, he’ll return to normal once the camera gets turned off.

Jun commented that S.Coups is really hard to wake up, I guess this suggests that Jun’s tried to wake him up before… Idk just thinking of that makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy over this ship lol

S.Coups knows Jun very well, if his banters with him doesn’t prove that enough. During OFD, while everyone else was busy buttering emperor!Jun up, Coups was the only one who tried to rile him up, because he knew Jun wouldn’t fight back.

Visually, when I see the two of them together it’s often S.Coups with his arm around Jun, and I get this “protector” vibe from him. I probably wrote too much for this ship, we should move on.

JunHan

My stance stands that they’re the mom line, except when they’re together, then Jun’s just the oldest son. The group’s too big for just one mom so they split up duties.

Let’s talk about the most recent JunHan moment that was dug up lol, obviously, these two really like to banter with each other. Particularly, Jeonghan likes to “bully” Jun, or just the members in general, so it’s obvious that Jun doubted Jeonghan’s method of preparing sad emotions. In addition, Jun and Jeonghan both like to prank the others, so you know… the more of a prankster you are, the more cautious you are of pranks being pulled on you.

Even though they were close pre-debut, JunHan’s always been one of the more “formal” Jun ships for me. It leads me to believe that maybe Jun was so “handsy” with Jeonghan pre-debut because of their language barrier, and Jun is just a naturally fond person, so he probably tried to express himself more physically. If you look back at their old videos together, you’ll notice that Jun rarely spoke at all, it was normally Jeonghan leading and Jun would just be… doing stuff, for the most part. Now that his Korean’s improved, he doesn’t have to rely on skin ship as much.

However, that doesn’t mean they’re not just as “real” as any other ship. Let’s face it, it’s impossible for everyone to be on “equally good” terms in such a large group, so there are bound to be mini friend groups or at least certain members that are closer than others, even members that they’d have a preference over others. That’s just human nature. What I’m going with this is - I’d probably describe JunHan as the two friends within the same friend group that aren’t as close with each other alone, but still know each other just as well.

They were once seen hanging out together on break, so naturally, they don’t have a forced friendship, I would just describe them as the least closest out of their closest group of friends (not out of the entire SVT group, just their mini group of friends whoever that’s made up with). We all have/had a friend like that, right?

The reason why I feel a sense of “formality” with them is because Jeonghan’s always had this “I have to look after this kid” aura when he’s with Jun, and that’s probably the best way to describe Jeonghan’s role in this ship. It’s not that they’re not close, they’re obviously close, but it seems to be less of a “friend” relationship and more of a “sibling” relationship. You care for each other, you understand each other more than anyone else, you’re very much alike in some sense even if you probably don’t want to accept it, but you wouldn’t want to “hang out” with them or be “playmates” with them if other options are available.

To prove my previous point about Jeonghan feeling the need to look after Jun, he stated blatantly in the “All About Vocal Unit” video that Jun’s a “cheerful guy”, and he feels that he’d be taken advantage of if he’s not there for him. For the most part, I feel that Jun just worries Jeonghan a lot because the latter cares for him too much sometimes. Maybe Jeonghan worries about Jun’s screen time more than his own to be very honest.

Anyway, to make a clearer idea, out of all the three hyungs Jun has in the group, Jeonghan seems to be the most “hyung-like” to him in terms of how he’s constantly worrying over and taking care of him while the others treat him more on the “same level”, if that makes any sense at all. Does that mean he’s the least close to him? Not at all, you wouldn’t take care of someone to almost an overprotective level if you weren’t close, right?

JunShua

Speaking of Jun’s relationships with his hyungs, I’m pretty confident that Joshua’s the hyung he’s the closest with, or at least the one he’s most comfortable around.

As I’ve stated before, might be because Joshua grew up in America so the hyung-dongsaeng formality doesn’t effect him as much, and also due to it being looser in China as well, Jun and Joshua seem to be the age gap combination who can hang out most comfortably together. Sure, there’s also JunHao, but their situation’s a little special, which will be addressed in their section.

Unlike Jeonghan and S.Coups who are both vocally supportive of Jun, Joshua is more quietly supportive on the side with little actions and soft “pep talks”. Like when Jun gets nervous about being called out on V lives, Joshua would put his hand on his shoulder or pat him on the back, he’d also encourage him on the side and tell him to just say whatever. Notice that Joshua doesn’t really initiate talk himself, but he would always hype Jun up and give big reactions to whatever he has to say.

Which brings me back to my first point about Joshua being the hyung he’s the closest to. While S.Coups is a friend to Jun, and Jeonghan is a brother/mom figure, Joshua is a good mixture of both. They consider each other “bros”, but at the same time, Joshua also takes close attention to Jun and looks after him like a proper hyung.

Joshua has a very high tolerance for Jun’s weirdness, and instead of ignoring it, he’s willing to “pay it back”, as shown by JunShua’s infamous buttslapping shenanigans.

JunShua are possibly the top Internet/social media surfers/users in the group, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were also the most “well read” when it comes to the concept of shipping. There are moments where it feels like they’re purposely teasing shippers with poses, like when they pretend to whisper in unnaturally intense ways, or when Jun pretended to kiss Joshua. In addition, Joshua also calls upon Jun to give fanservice with him during fanmeets, and I don’t think he does that with any other member.

Also that time when Joshua complained about Jun unwilling to go biking with him ever again, clearly Jun shouldn’t have been the first to complain given the reactions from the others, but Joshua was particularly upset about Jun being unwilling. It’s probably one of those “we used to do everything together, what changed” moments.

Shouldn’t it also be significant that Jun, normally an apparently very kind person, was driven to saying something so mean? Yeah, Joshua’s an inconsiderate biking pal, but you also have to be close enough to a person to be so direct.

The way Joshua looks at Jun is just… so endearing. I feel like Joshua just adores Jun a lot in general ;;;;

SoonHui

In 96-line, SoonHui probably has the most “business-like” relationship, that’s not to say that they’re not close, it’s just a matter of being respectful and acknowledging their differences.

Even though Hoshi is very, very technically “younger”, I often get a hyung vibe from him when he’s interacting with Jun, and that’s saying a lot because he usually has the immature hyper image.

One would think that since they’re both June babies, 96-line, Gemini, B blood type, part of the Perf Unit, they’d be the closest, having so much in common. But maybe it’s exactly because they’re so much alike that they have just a little distance in comparison to their relationship with the other 96ers.

To understand SoonHui’s relationship overall, we need to take a closer look at Hoshi’s personality. Personally, I do believe that Hoshi has a different personality off cam, in the sense that he’s a lot more serious during practice, and probably very strict, especially when he’s just with Performance Unit. The other units have noted that Perf Unit is the most serious out of the three, and that’s very much believable since Hoshi, Dino, and The8 are all the type who, if I were to put it in an uglier manner, are more likely to crack under pressure, which is why Hoshi and the others call Jun the “median” and balance in their unit. Hoshi is bright and cheery under normal circumstances, but I will believe that he gets short-tempered under pressure, which The8 had addressed before and Hoshi had confessed to as well. But that just goes to show how seriously Hoshi takes his own responsibility as the choreographer and unit leader, and because he has such a strong sense of responsibility, he feels the need to make sure Jun feels included. As mentioned in the previous analysis, Hoshi is the one who calls on Jun the most, and that hasn’t changed.

It is very possible that Hoshi’s the type who’s closer with those that aren’t his age, as shown by how he normally hangs out with BooSeok and teases Dino, also apparently cuddles up to his hyungs according to S.Coups. Hence why Hoshi is often away from the rest of 96-line (he’s close with them individually, but to be honest we’ve never seen all four together on their own accord, and we see WonJunHoon more than WonSoonHui).

So SoonHui’s relationship overall, I would say that Hoshi’s the one who “raised” Jun throughout his entire time in South Korea lol. In their pre-debut vids, Hoshi would often initiate interactions with Jun, not to mention they have been roommates for a very long time. More than a parent though, Hoshi’s more like an elder sibling (even though he’s five days younger). During a break when Jun couldn’t go home, he went to stay at Hoshi’s place.

“Roommates” is probably also a good way to describe SoonHui’s general relationship. Normally, we wouldn’t call our roommates our “friends”, but that doesn’t mean we’re not close. We also choose not to hangout as often because we’re already constantly together, it’s like that relationship level wedged between friends and family, hence why we don’t see SoonHui sticking together as often as we would for their other ships.

In addition, because Hoshi is so serious when they work, Jun is probably used to “giving him space”, so he’s not as clingy with him as he is to say, Wonwoo and Woozi. The concept of “giving him space” may also come from Hoshi’s role as his unit leader, where he subconsciously feels respect for him. Jun once answered “Hoshi” when asked who his favorite dancer was, he also mentioned that he felt inspired to become a better dancer when he saw Hoshi (and Woozi) perform during their trainee days.

But, I will say that SoonHui are pretty protective of each other. Jun once told a fan seriously to “please don’t misunderstand” when they joked about whether Hoshi actually called himself a prince in private, and Hoshi always talks about how it must be hard for Jun as a foreigner, he also encourages Jun to talk about his hardships (even though Jun still insists there are none).

Hoshi is always watching Jun from the corner of his eye, he always notices the little things Jun does and if he needs an extra chair (very specific, but you get the idea). So like I said, they aren’t the clingiest of ships, but they’re definitely not distant. You don’t have to be clingy to show how much you care for someone.

In addition, Hoshi described Jun as a “precious person”, more specifically, a person who needs to be treasured.

WonHui

I’ve been waiting to rewrite an analysis about this ship for a while. But anyway, I would actually dare to say that Jun is probably the closest with Wonwoo out of all the members in terms of being “friends”.

Similar taste in food, similar taste in lame jokes, bunk mates in addition to being roommates… I’ll be honest, their chemistry is no lie, they just complement each other so well.

I’m never going to get over the fact that Wonwoo described his relationship with Jun to be “especially good” (his wording implies that their relationship is better than what they have with most of the others, to be put blatantly).

They’re so close that their communication is often based on silently being dorks in the background instead of vocal banter.

I’d almost describe their relationship as love-hate, constantly making fun of each other and playfighting. I’ve noticed for a while that the way Jun expresses adoration towards the members is by initiating playfights, this goes back to pre-debut. But Wonwoo is one of the few who understands that and initiates playfighting as well (others include Woozi, Mingyu, Vernon, and Joshua, The8′s case is again, a little more complex); even then, no one else initiates quite as often as Wonwoo does.

Bitterwoo

Possessivewoo

Most members would just let Jun be when he’s being an oddball, but Wonwoo just has to join in or get himself involved and then act like he doesn’t care for it at all

Jun was playing with a box at a fanmeet once and apparently gave Wonwoo the idea of becoming a “package” that he pushes out for the fans. Wonwoo agreed to do it. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.

Yes, we all know Jun’s a clingy person, but when you line all the members up and think about it, he doesn’t just cling to anyone. Conditions would include how Jun personally feels for the member, and if said member is okay with his clinginess, that’s why certain members get clung onto a lot more. So is it one-sided if Wonwoo’s the most-clung-upon member?

Jun is often described as a “nice/kind/gentle person” by the others (including Wonwoo), though it seems like he’s particularly violent/mean towards Wonwoo in the sense that he makes fun of him (like saying he’s the sillier one, stating that his favorite thing to do in their room is punch Wonwoo while the latter’s playing video games, and even though he gave everyone a selca lesson, he openly laughed at Wonwoo’s supposedly “bad skill”) It just proves that Jun is especially comfortable with him, and it helps that they’re in the same age line. Jun also stayed at Wonwoo's place at some point.

If eye contact could kill… Also Jun’s habit of looking at Wonwoo for reassurance when he finishes talking is...

I mean, there has to be a reason why his mom seems to ship WonHui, right? Maybe he mentions him the most when they talk, who knows? who am I kidding everyone knows

Wonwoo always shows particular attention to the conversation when Jun’s involved, also his smile whenever Jun talks says it all.

JunHoon

Ah yes, my bias ship. I am proud of Woozi for finally accepting the fact that he has a soft spot for Jun.

“I laugh a lot because of Junhui… because he’s so cute.” - Woozi

Woozi is ironically not a very vocal person, so we have another “action-based” ship, but the good news for JunHoon shippers is that this ship is actually physically action-based, unlike others that are based on eye contact //cough jungyu wonhui

Woozi’s face just breaks easily into a smile whenever Jun talks, it’s adorable. Then his expression just returns back to normal when Jun’s done with whatever he was doing.

As mentioned before, Woozi is not a very vocal person for the most part, but he gets very vocal when it comes to Jun, he doesn’t even try to hide his fondness for the kid anymore. It seems like whenever the others mention Jun, Woozi just has to get his own two cents in as well, even with fans.

JunHoon’s relationship growth is pretty amazing if you think about it. From close-to-nothing to the explosion during Pretty U era, and then to “Everything about Woozi is cute” / ”Because [Jun’s] so cute.”

Not to mention in Pretty U and Very Nice, Woozi would still try to ignore Jun’s shenanigans (like shaking his head when Jun stares at him / tries to mess with him), but then that evolved into Woozi halfheartedly threatening to hit him. Also they talk to each other a lot more on stage, probably to exchange lame jokes (along with Wonwoo).

Woozi described Jun as a person who “deserves to be liked”.

We like to joke that Jun doesn’t understand danger when he teases Woozi, but in reality he just likes making Woozi “angry” on purpose, as shown by his “description” of how 96-liners react to his pranks. (WZ: …) I think we tend to underestimate Jun’s observation skills.

Woozi helps Jun eat his share of rice, always this is very important and should never be forgotten

The fact that Woozi just allows Jun to do whatever he wants and get away with it (sometimes he even goes along with it), that’s love right there.

Jun getting permission to lift Woozi up twice on his birthday will go down in history

In general, there is nothing too complex about this ship, they’re pretty straightforward lol is it really necessary to explain more

SeokHui

As I mentioned before, possibly a ship that has more moments off cam than on. Like JunCheol, SeokHui lacks moments on cam, but when they do happen, they’re not the least bit awkward.

DK used to teach Jun how to sing during pre-debut, and he was very patient with him. On the other hand, Jun often compliments DK’s singing and says that, “To be honest, I really like Dokyeommie’s voice!”

Unlike Jun’s other ships, SeokHui is more vocally active. DK doesn’t shy away from hyping Jun up, and Jun apparently likes to imitate the way DK talks. In addition, DK is always one of the first ones to react when Jun finishes embarrassing himself his segment.

Like I said before, most members tend to ignore or laugh off Jun’s odd one-liners, but DK is one of the few who are able to continue to the conversation without even batting an eye. For example, during the 2/18 pair’s birthday, DK asked Jun if he wanted to say something or give them kisses, Jun said, “I want to do both”, and DK just said, “All right, I understand~ (indicating for Jun to go ahead)”.

We’ve explained the concept of acting violent towards those whom you’re comfortable with, so let me remind you of how our ever so nice and kind DK threw a dainty punch in Jun’s chest when he tried to mess with pidgeon!DK. Also that time when DK took a Gudetama toy and just smashed it into Jun’s face, then walked away. Brutal.

DK described Jun as a dongsaeng-like hyung, he also seems to treat Jun just that way. For example, he pinched his cheek in a photo where Jun was wearing his yellow animal costume.

JunGyu

This ship is still so friggin’ adorable, literally because they’re both 5-year-olds trapped inside 180+cm bodies.

Goes without saying that Mingyu likes to tease Jun a lot, bringing up embarrassing stories and tendencies, having no respect for him as a hyung, and Jun repays him by slapping him.

Almost 90% sure that Mingyu came up with the “Moon Junnie” nickname, seeing as he has to constantly call it out.

Candidate for Jun’s #1 fanboy.

Mingyu might like to “play” with Jun the most out of all the hyungs, and apparently Mingyu is the member who likes to perform skin ship the most, so that fares well in Jun’s book. Not to mention Jun is a sucker for visuals.

Maybe it’s because of Jun’s tendency of spoiling his dongsaengs, but Jun seems very insistent on “looking after” the younger members (even though they’re the ones who have to look after him). Even though he has a smaller built, Jun insisted on piggybacking Mingyu, even after the latter offered to piggyback him at first; clearly this made our Puppygyu very happy, and he eagerly hopped onto his hyung’s back.

Pup-and-kitten dynamics.

Mingyu mentioned that Jun is becoming similar to him in terms of personality, and JunGyu is another strong candidate for the whispering + eye contact couple.

Their height difference kills me every time, especially the way Mingyu has to glance down when he’s talking to Jun, his gaze looks so soft and proud when he manages to make Jun laugh.

On another note, Jun is probably the most immune and tolerant when it comes to Mingyu being a puppy and needs constant attention, he can often be seen snickering in the background whenever clumsy!gyu takes over.

Mingyu keeps a pretty close eye on Jun and is probably obvious about it. During their rolling paper segment, Jun guessed that Mingyu wrote one of them because he often told Jun to stop eating breakfast alone.

Speaking of food, Mingyu once ate an entire box of macaroons on a fanmeet, not before sharing one with Jun. Speaking of sharing food, Mingyu used to eat from Jun’s hand.

JunHao

Our most complicated Jun ship. As mentioned previously, I didn’t particularly like this ship because I wasn’t buying any of their awkward forced moments, The8 in particular seemed uncomfortable with this arrangement.

And let’s be honest, he was. Not because he was shipped with Jun, but because he was being shipped with Jun as the “soft cutesy other Chinese boy who needs to rely on his Chinese gege”, and that’s just not him. I’ve been observing The8 for a while, and it dawned on me that he was probably uncomfortable with the image given to him as a whole.

Jun mentioned that when The8 first arrived, he was your typical “b-boy”, completely contrary to the initial image of a “fluffy cute boy” he was very possibly forced into. It’s not all that surprising since he was still having trouble with the language so the others may not understand them as well as they do now. It seemed like The8 went through a depressed period even after debut, openly voicing that he was worried that no one liked him.

Then there was a period of time when The8 seemed like he wanted to distant himself from Jun, maybe they had an arrangement and it wasn’t just one-sided. Maybe Jun knew about The8′s insecurities, but he couldn’t really do anything to actually help so he just tried to act normal. The8 once mentioned that he felt like his differences with Jun is becoming more apparent, largely due to Jun being a very laid-back person while The8 easily gets worried. So maybe Jun wasn’t being all that helpful either after The8 told him about his insecurities. On one hand, yes, it is absolutely possible that Jun may have been insensitive, and yes, it is also possible that The8 felt that Jun wasn’t sensitive enough even if he did try to comfort him (maybe by telling him to just go to sleep who knows). Whatever the case, things probably weren’t going well between them in that sense.

But things finally looked up for The8 when Pretty U came along, being able to change his image and all. His relationship with the other members also expanded, so he didn’t have to just rely on Jun, and they were possibly able to renew their relationship from there. It’s not like their friendship ever broke off, but it is very possible it was in a very rocky place for a brief period of time.

The more current JunHao moments are a lot more natural, especially now that they’re showing their true dynamic, which is leaning more towards love-hate, definitely not “helpless-clingy-but-also-tsundere-dongsaeng vs manlier-more-experienced-hyung”.

True, their physical moments may still be intentional because of the whole “official ships” setup, but not all of them. They seem to be still close in private, and The8 is possibly the only member Jun tells insecurities to; all the other members claim that Jun’s never said he feels tired, but The8 once wrote, “Thank you for always coming to me when you’re tired.”

The8 also still talks to Jun about his worries, this was mentioned during a fairly recent fanmeet (DWC era). Jun told a fan that The8 came to talk with him about something that upset him the night before.

JunHao consulting each other seems to be a known thing among all the members as well, Seungkwan noted that “I’ve never heard Jun-hyung complain before, not even to The8-hyung.”

I do believe that they have a special bond that possibly runs deeper than all other ships, but rather than just having a close friendship, their bond is more like that of brothers. They don’t constantly hang around each other under normal circumstances, and most likely don’t want to, but they’re close in private and they don’t have to always be physical and mushy to prove it.

JunKwan

Such a pure ship. Seungkwan takes care of Jun a lot on cam, but my bet is that Jun takes care of Seungkwan off cam.

Seungkwan is a very sensitive person, which means it is very possible that he gets upset over things easily. On the other hand, Jun is the type who tries to disperse negative energy by cramming in positive energy, so he probably goofs around a lot to cheer Seungkwan up. Whether that works or not I don’t know, but it’s a plausible scenario.

Yes, I am going to bring up the fact that JunKwan went out to play together after their Japan concerts. If that’s not proving how close they are, what is?

Another candidate for Jun’s #1 fanboy. A V live is not a V live without Seungkwan throwing Jun under the bus bringing Jun up or prompting him to talk.

I mentioned this in the previous analysis, but this ship has mutual adoration. The way they watch over each other is adorable. When Jun tried and failed to reenact his imitation of DK, Seungkwan made the most endearing expression ever.

Seungkwan’s the spokesperson for all Jun stans, let’s be honest. Bless this boy.

Another member who worries about Jun’s screen time more than his own.

I feel like Seungkwan treats Jun like a dongsaeng, but Jun also tries to take care of him as a hyung, which makes their dynamics all the more endearing. Trying to out-take-care the other.

JunSol

Third candidate for Jun’s #1 fanboy

Jun’s habit of calling Vernon “Hansol” even on cam.

Also they’re such aliens. Seungkwan once stated that they both have minds of “4D species”. Though it’s because they’re both so weird that they’re able to communicate / get along easily. Not to mention they both have similar easygoing personalities.

On the other hand, Jun and Vernon are different types of weird, so they don’t “clash” as awkwardly with the “too similar to be close” concept. Vernon is the “independent” weirdo who does things at his own pace and the weirdness often happens more inside his head, while Jun’s weirdness shows more physically and he often gets others involved, by accident or not.

Despite being an alien like Vernon, Jun observes the younger and worries over him, as mentioned very recently that he’d be the first member he’d try to save in a pinch because he gives off a “helpless vibe”.

Speaking of which, I’m pretty sure Jun would claim Vernon as his baby if he were the type to say stuff like that out loud like Jeonghan. Both 98-liners would be adopted by Jun if he had a say in it.

Overall, this is a very peaceful/straightforward ship, and their relationship has been pretty constant since pre-debut. Okay, maybe Jun still babies Vernon a little, like feeding him in OFD and V lives, and Vernon’s obviously matured since the time he had to jump on Jun’s back for a piggyback ride, but Vernon doesn’t really complain (let the growing do the talking).

Vernon’s going to outgrow Jun’s crib for him soon. That scene in OFD2 says everything. Their need to be in constant physical contact with each other is a big JunSol trait.

The scene of Jun finally (secretly) shedding tears on stage and Vernon first teasing him and then comforting him is legendary. Not to mention that one time when Jun seemed to be scolding Vernon for coming to him last after his aerobics performance.

I still believe this ship has the most skin ship with one another, or at least has the most equal contribution of skin ship.

Vernon tends to overreact to everything Jun does, tracing back since Mansae era.

Instead of trying to contain each other’s weirdness, they make a match out of it. Is that not cute?

ChanHui

Although Jun mentioned that all his dongsaengs are cute, and babies pretty much all of dongsaeng line, Dino’s the only one he seems to be hesitant with despite being in the same unit. This is because he sees and treats Dino as an adult (which was mentioned by Dino during a fanmeet), possibly tracing back to pre-debut when Dino and Vernon taught Jun how to dance.

Jun really has a lot of respect for Dino as a dancer and admires how hardworking he is, but as an older brother at home, it is probably hard for Jun to get rid of his “big brother” senses all together and still worries over him (despite fully acknowledging his capabilities and skills).

I’ve mentioned before that ChanHui is a little bit awkward, and their case is similar to JunHao’s. Dino is a very serious but sensitive kid, it is almost painfully obvious. It is insanely hard to be the maknae in a group of 13 people, he probably feels the constant need to prove himself, and it is very possible that his suggestions are often disregarded because of his position (we’ve seen a brief tense period with him, S.Coups, and Woozi in 17 Project). Dino doesn’t seem to take well to teasing during stressful periods, like when they’re preparing for a concert or thinking about choreography. This was more prominent when they first started out, but he’s really grown since then. Dino’s personality is very similar to Hoshi’s where they might be a little intense under stress, which is why Jun’s carefree attitude may very well strike the wrong chord.

While Jun acknowledges Dino, he still gets worried over whether he’s taking care of himself, and Dino may find the fuss to be annoying at certain moments due to his serious personality in addition to the fact that he dislikes being “coddled”. It’s this clash that causes a certain sense of awkwardness.

Like I said though, Dino’s been improving a lot in terms of being able to deal with ups-and-downs, as shown by how quick he was to react during Hoshi’s outburst in OFD2. He also seems to care for Jun a lot more, or has become more verbal about it, like how he hypes Jun up in V lives and mentions him more in interviews and other instances.

Let’s not forget the birthday kiss Jun gave Dino, that probably explains their relationship a lot as well. If Dino were to be completely cold and indifferent to Jun’s affection, I doubt he would have rushed to give him a kiss.

Dino doesn’t seem like the type to be able to express his feelings easily, or at least not under casual circumstances, while Jun can express his affection freely, which is a difference that makes them awkwardly sweet; especially when Dino writes to Jun, “Even though I don’t say this often, I love you ^^ Truly”, and tries to tell him happy birthday in Mandarin.

Jun is probably also a dongsaeng-like hyung to Dino, which in return probably means he feels comfortable with him when they’re under a relaxed environment. He seems fairly comfortable with him in fanmeets and even tries to appease him by acting cute (to no avail because Jun was denied love from him earlier), so that’s a thing.

Things are looking up for this ship as shown by very very recent moments (as recent as Jun’s once a day Jun V live that Dino took part in from the background). Jun accidentally called Dino by his real name (referring to him as “Channie”) a couple times before realizing he should be calling him Dino, which is pretty endearing on its own.

Park Jimin would no doubt consider himself to be the biggest fan of EatJin, even more so than the thousands of people that come online just to watch him shove spoonfuls of cheap ramyeon and packaged kimchi into his mouth, all the while spouting out the lamest (and in Jimin’s opinion, severely under-appreciated) uncle jokes. He wears this title proudly.

Park Jimin is also the regular guest.

And Park Jimin more often than not finds himself having a hard time doing both at the same time, trying to maintain a cool façade and a safe distance away from Seokjin while admiring his side profile. Most of the time, he manages, settling for a pat on his knee. Sometimes, he gives in to lowly temptation, throwing himself into Seokjin’s chest in a fit of laughter whenever he tells a joke. One time, just one, he kind of maybe overdid it a little, allowing his hand to slide from Seokjin’s chest down to a careful amount of centimetres away from his crotch just because Jeongguk was flush against Seokjin’s chest, giggling away, and he kind of maybe felt a little territorial. (He still doesn’t know if he regrets what he did.)

Mostly, Jimin’s an EatJin enthusiast because Seokjin only ever considers doing fanservice with a camera in the vicinity. Whether it’s unintentional or on purpose, Jimin takes it all.

Except that he doesn’t, because he doesn’t own the untouchable title that is the maknae.

Not that he ever acts like one, Jimin would think bitterly when Seokjin and Jeongguk play around, Jeongguk overpowering Seokjin in terms of sheer strength by wrestling him to the ground, their laughter mixing together like chimes in the wind. And yes, Jimin wants to be Seokjin’s favourite dongsaeng, that’s why he’s always his special guest on EatJin, seizing every opportunity he can get to get closer to his hyung, especially when Jeongguk steals all of Seokjin’s attention at any other given time. The same Jeongguk who tells him that trying to gain Seokjin’s favour by appearing on EatJin all the time is cheating. Taehyung absolutely agrees, Jimin absolutely doesn’t.

Fanservice, Jimin learnt, isn’t all about sliding your hand over your hyung’s crotch, it’s grazing your hand over his knuckles for a split second, only to crave contact immediately, it’s the gaze of adoration sent in his direction whenever he does something goofy and everybody else cringes. And while their fans do appreciate it when they act out lines from a makeshift script together, it’s the subtle moments that really sends their minds reeling.

Or that one time they almost kissed on a Gayo. That sent their minds reeling too.

Today, it’s fruits, and when Seokjin says fruits, he means one bowl of cherries and no bananas in sight. Remind Jimin to never get his hopes up with Seokjin.

(“It’s barey a mukbang if all you eat is a bowl of cherries,” Jimin had snorted, earning him a flick in the forehead.

Seokjin puffed his cheeks up in annoyance, crossing his arms over his chest and huffing, “It’s EatJin, not EatJimin, so I get to decide what I eat.

Jimin simply threw his hands up in defeat, an amused smile playing on his lips.)

It’s halfway throughout the liveshow, after six uncle jokes, that Seokjin finally succumbs to the need to satisfy his viewers’ (and Jimin’s, don’t forget Jimin) thirst.

He pops a cherry into his mouth, makes a guttural sound about how sweet this batch is when all of a sudden, his eyes light up like he’s found the cure for cancer and he turns to Jimin. “I almost forgot, I learnt a new special trick.”

“What is it, hyung?” Jimin’s eyes sparkle in anticipation.

Seokjin holds up one finger, giggling under his breath. “You’ll see, give me a moment.”

Jimin’s fingers drum on the glass table impatiently, in patient wait of whatever his hyung had prepared, a mischievous grin because he knows the others would kill to be in his position right now.

Seokjin stares into space for a while, as if focusing on something, and finally, finally turns towards Jimin, a satisfied grin and all, and Jimin prepares himself for something amazing, and underwhelming as it may seem, it’s more intense than anything Jimin could’ve imagined.

But then Seokjin pulls something out of his mouth and sets it in his hand, satisfied grin and all, and Jimin wouldn’t have noticed that that little thing was Seokjin’s party trick if he hadn’t been staring at Seokjin’s cherry-stained lips. Jimin’s smile almost falters.

It’s a cherry knot.

A fucking cherry knot, but that innocent little stalk sitting in the palm of Seokjin’s hand is the least innocent thing in the room right now, not counting Jimin.

“Hyung, do you know what this means?” Jimin asks, lips pressed into a thin line as he lunges for the phone, reading the comments frantically. Oh. The comment section is swarmed with comments, most of them Jimin can read, some of them he can’t, but he can more or less tell that they know exactly what a cherry knot means.

Seokjin senses the panic in Jimin’s voice, and immediately leans in worriedly, pressing the back of his hand “No, Jiminie, is anything wrong?”

Jimin looks up at Seokjin, holding his curious and worried stare for a few good seconds before replying, “It means you’re really good at kissing.”

At this, Seokjin bursts into his squeaky laughter, Pacific Ocean shoulders shaking, hand intuitively reaching over to Jimin’s knee for support, but not before smacking him in the shoulder. “Jimin-ah, you scared me! Of course I’m good at kissing!”

Seokjin blows a flying kiss to the camera.

To Jimin’s dismay, knowledge of Bangtan’s eldest member ability to tie a cherry knot spread like wildfire, the flames of the rumour licking at every corner of the internet, sparing nobody from the endless GIFs of Seokjin popping a cherry into his mouth and pulling a perfect little knot out, more often than not accompanied with a flustered Jimin’s reaction and a simple caption: ‘same, Jimin’.

Soon after, cherry knots became a trend, with idols trying and inherently failing to tie a cherry knot and ambitious fans following suit, to no avail unfortunately. And then all of a sudden, Seokjin of BTS was known for his cherry red lips and what had long dissolved into a simple ‘amazing kissing skills’.

Antis undoubtedly called Seokjin out for faking it, calling it a cheap trick, well, not that it mattered when #CherryJin had been trending as number 1 on Twitter the day they did the livestream, and Jimin is almost sure that Twitter had considered making him a little emoticon.

So how the hell did Jimin not see this coming?

“Why don’t you give us a taste of your amazing ability, Cherry Jin?” the show host – Jimin had already forgotten her name – exclaimed with an enigmatic grin, perfectly manicured fingernails tippity-tapping against the plastic cue cards clasped in her hands.

Jimin had been invited onto a mukbang with Seokjin, their ulterior motive of having the ever so famous Cherry Jin in their studio disguised as clasped hands and charming smiles and the fact that their chemistry on other shows surpass many others. Needless to say, Jimin was more than delighted to guest-star on another show with his hyung, even if he kind of felt like he was cheating on EatJin.

That day, they had guests from different idol groups come to make some sort of dessert with the theme cherry - of course - in mind. Seokjin and Jimin had won, much to their surprise, because Jimin was pretty sure that the group from EXO had done much better, but the producers probably thought it impolite to let the Cherry Jin lose at cherries.

“It’s nothing special!” Seokjin chuckles, ears tinged red with gratification, the shit-eating grin on his face saying otherwise.

“You’ll do it for the biggest fan of EatJin, right?” she giggles, placing a wretched hand on Seokjin’s godly shoulders, and Jimin grunts in displeasure, fighting the urge to stand up and remind them that this is a mukbang, not a talent show.

Seokjin grins smugly, turning his gaze towards the camera. “Anything for ARMY!"

The woman claps her hands like an overeager circus seal (Jimin is unapologetic), her smile plastic.

Somebody off-stage quickly passes Seokjin a bowl of a-little-too-red cherries, and Seokjin offers a polite nod.

Who cares about Seokjin's cherry knots when Jimin's stomach is tying knots here and there all by itself?

Swiftly, Seokjin slips a cherry into his mouth, plump lips wrapping around it before it disappears into his mouth. Jimin notices that the expression on the host's and the other guests' faces looks exactly like Jimin's when he had been watching Seokjin the first time around, and he doesn't exactly like it.

In all his daze, he hadn't noticed Seokjin had finished his pony trick, content smile and all, until he heard the host lady squealing in what appeared to be incredulity, the other guests gasping along. When it finally registers to him that he's being filmed by a camera to be watched by thousands, he plasters on a smile and claps along with the host. All in good fun.

Jimin can't help when his smile falters a little the moment the cameras turn away from him. Making Seokjin perform something like that - a moment that Seokjin had shared with and only with Jimin just a week ago - in front of a bevy of cameras just rubs him the wrong way. Jimin would rather attempt to tie a cherry knot all by himself than allow Seokjin to go on stage and do that in front of the masses.

But, of course Jimin always speaks (thinks) too soon.

"Jimin-ssi, would you like to try doing what Seokjin-ssi has demonstrated for us just now?" the host interrupts his train of thought with her nasally voice and flicks a clump of blonde hair off her shoulder.

Jimin almost visibly frowns, this host was starting to get on his nerves, what makes her think he'll do it?

... is what he thinks until he sees Seokjin's face, lips pursed into an excited little smile, and he gives in even before Seokjin can utter a single plead. God, he's so fucking whipped.

If Seokjin the virgin (a well-known but surprising fact) could do it, how hard could it be?

Turns out, it's really hard. Jimin accidentally swallows the knot along with the cherry, sending him into a coughing and sputtering mess, and his life flashes before his eyes, until he manages to finally choke it out, tattered with teeth marks. The host's and other guests' cheeks are puffed up with laughter they're very politely holding in, and Jimin realises that maybe it's better if he'd just died. Then again, dying from a cherry knot? He'd be ridiculed by all his ghost friends.

The awkward silence in the studio is finally broken when Seokjin speaks up, voice trembling with laughter. "I hope you finally learn how to cherry-sh your life."

Good news: everybody groans and forgets about Jimin.

Bad news: Jimin himself bursts out laughing, drawing all the attention back to him.

Good news: Seokjin's head is buried in Jimin's chest, allowing for an overwhelming warmth to fill his chest.

Bad news: Jimin is just resisting the urge to get Seokjin to show him just how good he is at tying cherry knots, if you know what he means.

The host laughs uncomfortably at this turn of events and tries to steer the conversation back on track. "Looks like Jimin-ssi has to take lessons from Seokjin on how to tie cherry knots."

Bad move, lady. The hidden implication behind what she says races through Jimin's mind and he bites down on his lower lip to clear his mind and get rid of unnecessary thoughts in his head. A glance towards Seokjin sends his mind reeling once again as he tries to process what his hyung may have meant by a wink in his direction.

Or maybe it was the trick of an eye, because Seokjin merely turns to the camera, puckers his lips and blows a kiss.

In the end, Jimin realises that what Seokjin had meant by a wink was quite literally a lesson on how to tie cherry knots.

"Why? Were you expecting something?" Seokjin has the audacity to ask, spitting out the fifth cherry knot he's churned in two minutes.

Jimin has to stop himself from saying yes, but seeing the keen little smile on Seokjin's face is fulfilment enough for him. He rests his elbow on the coffee table and his chin in his palm, gaze fixated on Seokjin, eyes roaming from his eyes to his nose to his cherry-stained lips, resting on the last-mentioned a little longer than necessary.

"Is anything the matter?" Seokjin asks, worry lacing his voice, bringing Jimin out of his small daze. Crap, he got caught staring.

But he only smiles. "Love you, hyung."

"Love you too, Jiminie!" Seokjin shoots finger hearts at Jimin, smile so wide it forms crescents in his eyes, which sends a pang through Jimin’s heart, when suddenly his face lights up. "Do you want to be my special guest in the next EatJin?"

It doesn't take an ounce of hesitation for Jimin to fling an arm around Seokjin's shoulder (it's a long reach) and nod very fervently. "Of course, hyung!"

Yes, Park Jimin would no doubt consider himself to be the biggest fan of EatJin.

EXO 101: A Crash Course

Park Chanyeol

Soft baby by day, sexy mofo by night. Can do everything?? Sing, rap, dance, cook, act, write and produce music, play the guitar (classical, spanish, lead, and rhythm omg) and the piano and the drums, has the body of an elf king. He’s also AMAZING with children as shown [here - skip to 12:17 and WATCH you won’t regret it] and dogs too! All animals really. He’s Korean Snow White. With abs. And if Snow White was extra.

Also the kindest soul ever. He’s always smiling, even when he’s down. He literally said, and I quote; “No matter how difficult something is, I will always be positive and smile like an idiot.” His then-girlfriend nicknamed him “Happy Virus.” Constantly buys his members gifts, is very tall (well over six feet), and he’s the most extroverted and sociable person - actually friends with everyone. 10/10 amazing human.

Byun Baekhyun

Don’t let him fool you!!! He looks soft but he will fuck you up with his cheeky lil smile and pelvic sorcery and unearthly vocals and uGH. His wit is unparalleled like omg, so sassy and hilarious and sharp. Also a huge nerd when it comes to anime, manga, and video games. Once gave a picture of himself to another member as a gift, the lil shit.

He’s incredibly passionate about his career and his members, and I think it was Kyungsoo who said that it’s Baek who keeps them all together at times. In summary: Byun Baekhyun is what happens when a demon and an angel do the do.

D.O./Do Kyungsoo:

Do Kyungsoo? More like Do Me, Kyungsoo. I’m sorry I’m so thirsty Ksoo...I don’t even know where to begin with this one. First of all, he single-handedly saved the human race from extinction with his voice. He’s savage af, so much so that he’s affectionately nicknamed “Satansoo” and he will smack a bitch. He’s also so soft and squishy at the same time, you’ll get whiplash. And his acTING. Lord in heaven. And I believe he didn’t even have acting lessons?? The nerve of him. He, too, is sex on legs, and he might be quieter than the others, but y’all best listen when he talks cause boy bout to spill the tea.

He’s also very paternal in that he takes care of the other members a lot, like when Kai, his roommate, isn’t feeling well, he’ll care for him or go out to get food for him. And he can cook really well. I’m gonna stop now before I end up writing an entire dissertation ;’)

Lay/Zhang Yixing

ALSO NOT PURE ABORT ABORT THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

Oh my god. Anyway. Zhang Yixing is the perfect contradiction. On the one hand, he’s an actual baby lamb - laugh and all. On the other hand, he’s the human embodiment of the NC-17 rating. Like, hide yo kids. Yixing is also one of the Chinese members of EXO, so he often leaves to promote his solo music which is in Chinese, and he works so incredibly hard and deserves all the success. He also writes the lyrics, and composes and arranges the music!

And...his dancing. Proof that god exists. There is literally no part of his body that Yixing does not have absolute command over - and you can see it because he is so precise, confident, and sexy. :’)

Suho/Kim Junmyeon

I actually had to cover his face while writing this because holy--

Yup. Moving on.

Actually, back to his face (and the rest of him): Remember when Da Vinci was conceptualizing the Vitruvian Man (lol only 90′s kids will remember...1490′s kids, that is). You know that picture of the guy with another pair of arms and legs superimposed on him, inside a circle? The drawing theorizing the ideal proportions of the human body? Yup, true story: Junmyeon was Da Vinci’s muse. Suho’s face is so symmetrical, it inspired mathematicians to write the golden ratio. He is a genetic miracle, a statistical outlier, a national treasure--

Anyway *sweats*. ALSO. Let’s talk about his personality. Myeon is the mom of EXO, the leader, so he’s naturally very parental. He actually chose the stage name “Suho” because it means guardian. He always does his best to keep his kids the members together and doing what they need to be doing. Always pays for things ($Junmoney$), and is the person a lot of them confide in and go to for comfort or advice, especially Sehun.

He’s such a dad too - like his dad joke ratings are off the charts. 10/10 would build you a tree house and tuck you in at night.

Oh Sehun

Maknae. Icon. Legend. Used to have a lisp.

People sometimes think he’s cold or reserved because of his face, but as you can see in the gif, he’s literal sunshine. He once cried on stage because he was knocked on the head by a camera - but he wasn’t crying because the injury hurt, he was crying because he wasn’t allowed to perform because of it, and he felt like he was disappointing his fans. He also cried during a radio show when asked about his other members - he said every night before he falls asleep, he prays for them and he prays that they all stay together and are successful and happy. And now I’m crying.

Everyone is in love with him.

His dancing resurrected me from the dead, put my children through college, and ended world hunger because damn we are fed when that boy moves.

Sehun was once invited to Paris for a Louis Vuitton fashion show and became king of France. I’m not kidding. All he did was show up, and there was a huge crowd already there to greet him as if he were royalty, and he was voted best dressed at the show by Vogue. He went to the Louvre, and people were studying and appreciating him, the actual art.

Chen/Kim Jongdae

Ah, little dino bby. He’s iconic for many reasons:

1) His smile. It curls up at the corners like this :}

2) When he laughs, he literally goes HAHAHAHAHA like wow, amazing, I want this as my ringtone

3) He screams a lot. Nickelodeon once made a show about him called Jongdae: The Last Pterodactyl.

4) HIS VOCALS. Un-freaking-believable. He’s the male version of Mariah Carey.

5) Speaks really good Chinese! (He’s Korean)

6) An amazing human?? He donates to charity so often and he doesn’t do it for publicity either. He takes good care of the other members too.

Jongdae, let me put a ring on it.

Xiumin/Kim Minseok

HERE WE GO. My precious boy :’)

Minseok. The eldest. Also known as the best person to ever exist. Like Kyungsoo, he doesn’t talk much because he’s a shy lil bean, but once he warms up to you, the things that come out of his mouth are so deep and cute and funny and wowow I want ten of him

Is the least likely to cry

Was chubby (and so adorable!!) as a little kid, and now he has a six pack. Because of his weight as a kid though, he has spoken many times about the issue of body shaming and how people’s perceptions of a person shift based on how they look. He once said these words that made my cold, dead heart beat again: “I don’t have an ideal type. If our hearts match well, then she will look pretty to me.”

Has the strongest arms in EXO. They all arm wrestled and he won and it was the funniest thing ever.

Is not only an idol, he’s also getting his Ph.D. Dr. Kim. I can’t believe....

Wants to open his own coffee shop, and I don’t drink coffee, but I would chug any dish-water-coffee-grinds-filth that he would serve me because damn I love him.

Kai/Kim Jongin

Kim Jongin is one of nature’s greatest accomplishments. His gams are the eighth wonder of the world - and he puts them to use when he dances, like please kick me in the face with those omfg

His laugh. Astounding. Also don’t stand too close when he laughs because he will hit you. It’s just what he does lmao

He’s basically a hip young old man - so hot but so sleepy. He’ll sleep at any given opportunity.

Very fond of fried chicken. And dogs. But not in terms of eating, for the latter

Learned ballet for ten years and it shows, and I just wANT TO SEE HIM IN A LEOTARD DAMMIT

He has darker skin than the other members which people used to make fun of him for and still do comment on, but he says he loves it and he is proud of his body :’) we are too bby!!

Other random facts:

- EXO originally had 12 members but 3 left and we’re not going to talk about it okay? okay

- Chen and Xiumin are married best friends. Xiumin actually said in an interview that Chen is “like my wife”

- Sehun is now officially Lord Oh Sehun of Glencoe, Scotland because his fans are the most Extra and purchased the estate for his birthday :’)

- Chanyeol once folded one hundred paper cranes for his girlfriend as a gift, but in the middle of doing this, she called him and broke up with him

- Baekhyun can’t cook for shit but at least he’s pretty

- Kai dated F(X)’s Krystal

- Kyungsoo once said to the camera that he is “not pure”

- Yixing starred in a gay sci-fi movie where he and this other dude have a baby

BTS Wings Tour Newark FanAccount

First off, let me say this: US Army, I am so proud to be a member of this fandom. Between your and our BTS members’ hard work, this was an amazing experience.

Even before the show started, this show had a relaxed feel to it. There were Army dancing, both BTS and other groups, outside the venue, and it seemed like everyone was having a good time despite the wait. I got there later than usual due to having a seat, but there was still lots of good energy.

Inside, you could hear about half of the music videos they played, in chronological order, and the rest of the noise was enthusiastic screams and singing from the audience as they trickled in. I’ll admit, watching the cycle of videos and seeing BTS grow made me cry. Our boys have come so far, not just from debut and how their style has grown, but also from when I saw them 2 years ago being cramped in a small NYC theater and now they’re selling out the huge Prudential Center in a matter of minutes. I was so proud of them and ended up being reminded why they have quite literally saved me many times, why I love them so much. I won’t bring you down with that story though.

Anywho, once the show started, it was nonstop party from then on. Army greeted every song with ecstatic cheers, absolutely jamming out, even those confined by our seats. The boys gave us back every bit of love in their bodies in their amazing performances. Especially their solos, which I am so thankful we got to see. I didn’t take any video or pictures because I just wanted to soak in the whole experience.

Jin’s singing has gotten so much better! Not that he wasn’t really good before, but this time he was on a whole nother level. His dancing is also nothing to sniff at, any critics out there. Actor Jin was on most of the concert, especially during his solo when I was half afraid he was going to cry. It made his performance even more riveting because I barely noticed when they were raising and lowering his part of the stage. In his intro and after their mash-up of their hits, it was all our adorable eldest. He blew so many kisses to us and ending up giggling at himself after. He laughed at himself too in his goodbye speech when he said he felt like he was reborn, the goof. And of course, the kid got an Army bomb and was waving it around during his encore. He even managed to get one with the pink cover from our rainbow ocean (more on that later).

Ah, Yoongi. My ultimate bias and precious red panda rapper. :3 He looked so healthy!! And honestly, that’s something that makes me incredibly happy. Without fail, our boy did his usual intro: take out his earpiece, close his eyes and wave his hand until we were screaming his name. Cue smirk. I ended up watching him a lot even during the group choreography and all I’ll say is I’ll fight anyone who tells me he (or Namjoon for that matter) is a bad dancer. He’s not a dance line member, but the boy’s gotten very, very good. Also, during oe of their mini-breaks when they were trying to get us to scream, he yelled “Louder!” into his mic and his voice got that deeper, raspier quality all Yoongi stans know. I died immediately it was so sexy. Anyway, his solo stage was beautiful. Maybe it’s because rap isn’t as easy for us to follow, but it got quiet during his solo and it felt like magic. He was looking around everywhere, and part of me feels like he was just taking in where he was and how this was probably something he’d never dreamed he’d accomplish. I really hope he knows just how much we love him and want to help him get even further. He smiled so much and thanked us for always giving him good memories. That sweetie ended with calling us his wings, which I know I will always try to be.

Namjoon had to go and remind me why he’s my bias ruiner. He looked incredibly healthy as well and oh so handsome on top of it all. Plus he was being cute before they came on (I could see behind the curtain from my spot) and twirling around on his spot. He fed off our energy so much, constantly bouncing around or hitting his moves perfectly or throwing us a heart during “Save Me.” He was really trying to put his best for us: he asked if he was dreaming that they’d really sold out the Prudential Center twice and thanked us so many times for this kind of support. His solo stage was something else. The background kept having whales passing through it and it really echoed his song beautifully. He just got so wrapped up in his music. We made sure to let him know how much we appreciated him and his music too: when he sang the lines “I wish I could love myself,” Army sang back loud and clear “We love you.” At their encore, he got so passionate about our rainbow ocean and talked about how music can transcend any difference. I’m really glad Army didn’t let him down.

J-Hope and his effect on me has not changed in the past 2 years. Whenever he smiled, a reply smile always lit up my face as well. Let me just say this: If you were a Hobi stan and in that arena, you did not survive. There is not a snowflake’s chance in hell you are alive right now. He was everything. Sweet in his intro and goodbye: “I am your Hope, you are my hope” and “You are our wings. Let’s fly higher together.” He was also a tease and a cutie and a dance king and a rap god. The boy somehow flawlessly flirts with every Army no matter what he was doing though. He got to do ‘Boy Meets Evil’ in addition to his solo and he SLAYED. I repeat, all Hobi fans are assuredly dead. At least it was a good death considering how adorable his solo was; besides the man himself and how he let Army sing a few lines for him, there was also a montage of photos of small Hobi from his literal baby days to his baby idol days. There was nothing cuter the whole concert.

If I had to choose one thing to describe Jimin, it would be silk. He, like Jin, tried being serious most of the concert and it really came through when he was dancing. His solo stage is where silk comes in. Like silk, his dancing is liquid and strong and enticing. Maybe it’s his ballet training, but there’s just something inherently graceful and achingly beautiful when Jimin dances. His voice is very similar and he made every effort into being perfect. Those high notes were spot on. After the mash-up, we got to see more of my favorite Jimin: cutie Chimchim with giggly smiles and eye smiles. Well almost. The boys were asking if we liked the concert and he replied “I like it” in one of the sexiest voices I’ve ever heard lol. But back to cute Jimin because I love him. He also threw us lots of hearts and spoke as much English as he could for us. During their goodbyes, he reverted to Korean for this simple message: Thank you. I love you.

Last time I saw V in concert, I remember hearing the poor boy was sick. After seeing him this time, I can definitely see the difference. He was so playful with the others and took every opportunity to tease Army with plenty of lip bites and smiles. The boy was another member looking way too good for my sanity, what with how the veins stood out on his neck or how insanely good he looks in a headband. That’s not even touching on his voice, which is sin given sound. It goes from warm-your-soul deep to raising-your-soul high and he showed us that range and more in his solo stage. I’m pretty positive he had as much fun as we did because he commented on time going by too fast for him more than once. In the end though, he made sure to show us just how much he loves us with that adorable boxy grin, a loud ‘I love you!’ and a huge heart thrown our way.

Jungkook may have the looks and talent of a full grown man, but inside our little kid Kookie is still alive and well. Try as he might to maintain a straight face, during 90% of the concert that endearing bunny smile kept coming through. Then there’s the multiple hearts he gave us where he could fit them in the choreography. He also borrowed an Army bomb and was running around with it at the end, which made me chuckle. I’m very glad our baby Kookie was having fun. He told us that as well, and said prepping for the concert was fun as well. How much prep he put into his solo certainly showed because it was flawless. It reminded me a bit of a dance Rain might perform: smooth and dynamic and masculine. As with the others, I couldn’t help but be so proud of the man our baby is now and thankful I’ve gotten to be around to see him grow up.

Even though I couldn’t stop the inevitable sadness that comes with a concert ending, I also felt, for lack of a better word, comforted. Like when you’re leaving the place you feel most at home after a long time and it gave you the strength to go back to life. BTS is my favorite group because of the way they make me feel not alone, the way they wrap their own experiences, ones everyone goes through, in their music. This concert reminded me BTS is a second home and a second family.

At the end, Namjoon taught us the word “함께.” “Together.” He reminded us that if we are 함께, we never walk alone. I for one, will always believe him because of tonight .

I’ll be honest with you all. I was the most nervous I’ve ever been for a concert because of the sheer size of the crowd. However, all that went away once I was surrounded by my Army family and our boys. As the last VCR said: one became many and many became one.

Thank you BTS. Thank you Army. It was nice to be home.
