Chasing Wind isolated himself from the rest of the local group and restarted a project he had done with his ancient, "Project Repurposed". This fan animation is only the beginning of a long journey ahead of him and Zen.

I love the character scrolling from the first Dungeon Meshi opening, and couldn't find the image online, so I pieced this together myself. [Image descriptions: various characters from dungeon meshi all reaching upwards towards the sky. the bottom image is all women, while the top image is all men, and has been flipped upside down, so the men and women are reaching for each other. the topmost figure in each image is Laios for the men and Falin for the women. Due to the mens image being flipped, the siblings hands almost touch. End ID.]

Love when a band does an anime OP, and the band's music video for the full version goes the route of touching on similar visual motifs to the source material, without just straight up being the anime.

Bump of Chicken's Sleepwalking Orchestra is as much of a loveletter to old school RPGs as Delicious in Dungeon is.

Look, I rarely get teary eyed when it comes to music videos, but goddamn, that Bump of Chicken x Studio Trigger Transformers music video had me crying tears of joy.

I adored the fact that it was a celebration of every era of Transformers, instead of just G1. The whole thing made fall in love with Transformers all over again.

The animators who worked on this deserve all the awards.

i think the song tsukiniji comes close to the vibe of sleep walking orchestra, but most of their songs are more of a typical alt rock style than that. aurora arc is probably my favorite album of theirs though heheheheheheheheh

I didn't do a seasonal one for Summer because nothing stood out, and I was going to do one for this season but then I never got around to it and now the season is almost over oops so we'll just skip ahead to the end of year. For the record, if I had done one for this season it would have included this, this, this, and the one on this list. Also, there is one here from Summer but it's mostly just to fill out the list and because I'm already an Eve fan. It's fine. Most of his other stuff is better.
