I've had 5 of these for less than a day and I'm already in love. Their stupid little faces and awkward hobble are making me melt
Also occasionally I hear them tumble down to the bottom and it's hilarious

Strange orange bunnies from Lake Matano
Tylomelania gemmifera is one of the more popular ornamental species in the genus known as the rabbit snails. It is a strictly freshwater relative of the burrowing ceriths, that are often maintained in marine aquaria. Rabbit snails, like the unrelated sea hares, which are also gastropods, are so named for their having facial appendages, that charmingly resemble the ears of rabbits or hares. They are a viviparous genus, such a habit has evolved out of a tendency for the Asian freshwater cerithoids, to produce fewer but larger eggs, therefore investing more into the survival chances of each offspring. The shell of T. gemmifera is about 5 centimeters, or under 2 inches long. T. gemmifera is often traded as the golden or orange rabbit snail, names which reference its mantle coloration. I have also seen T. gemmifera traded as the giant rabbit snail, although it is not the largest of all Tylomelania species. All of the species in this curious genus, are native to the island of Sulawesi, and the lakes of the Maliki system are particularly famed for their high endemism and rich biodiversity. This diversity includes several species of rabbit snails, and other rabbit snail species inhabit other freshwaters of Sulawesi.
The parameters of Lake Matano, the Maliki lake where T. gemmifera itself originates, include a pH value from between around 8.5 up to 9.6, and quite high, stable temperatures of around 27 to 29 degrees centigrade. Feeding T. gemmifera and other rabbit snails is simple, because they will rasp such foods as sinking algae tablets, and blanched vegetables such as corguettes. Cerithoids are categorised as deposit feeders and microalgal grazers, lacking need for animal proteins. Generally this species of rabbit snail is considered safe for planted tanks, but sometimes Tylomelania sp. have been reported to nibble live growth sometimes in aquariums, avoiding resilient leaves like those of Cryptocoryne. Rabbit snails are known to have adapted to different niches in the lakes of Sulawesi. Different species of rabbit snail do have different food preferences, for this reason. These snails require a soft substrate as is sufficient to burrow themselves into, but it need not be too deep. Rabbit snails are not at all active predators, and they cannot seize or harm ornamental fish or shrimp.

Buggy Headcanon. Buggy x Reader
⚠️ Warnings: ⚠️ Some Angst, Action, Pirating
Support me on Ko-Fi
<<< Previously. Part 4 >>>>
• Buggy knew being a Warlord while was a massive benefit added a new target to his back- However he would take advantage of these privileges to protect you- His Darling seamstress wife.
• Buggy with his new status made sure no one knew of you- insisting that he had claimed the island that was his home as his territory and even renaming it entirely to Blue Edge Island- Just so people didn't sniff around the spot.
• However it seemed not everyone got the memo-
• You were in the shop, finishing up the latest thing for Buggy. A wedding anniversary gift for your darling- A nice big coat for him that was white and orange, and styled similarly to his idol and former Captian Gold D Roger's. It was probably your best work yet and you were proud.
• Forced from your creative mind as you heard crashing outside. Quickly walking out confused that a light post or building had fallen you stand out in the middle of the street- Others doing the same as you. That was till an unfamiliar pirate ship could be seen and hoards of the aggressive crew yelled and began to slice through your home- Ripping through your Unprotected people like paper.
• Your eyes widening as you turned to run back into your shop and call Buggy- But you were yanked back by a rough hand, A man with a wicked grin
• The pirate snatching the gold necklace from around your neck and shoved it greedily in his pockets- Not even bothering to check the emblem on it.
• "Captian take a look at this one!" He screamed out, Easily overpowering you as he showed you off. The Captian as grimy as he crew jeered at you and ripped you from his lowly members hands and stared you down.
• "Shes pretty- Find the treasures and other fine specimens like this one! And Take her to the ship!" The man yelled, Tossing you towards other crew members and dragging you away to their ship-
• A act they would regret in time.
• Not far from your home in the East Blue Buggy was sailing- he was less then day away from the home he shared with you, planning to visit in his own way. But He had some errands to run however, mainly to stash some of their recent earnings.
• "Buggy Sir!" A Pirate ran up to the Warlord in a total panic, Buggy who was laughing down at his 'employees' working away after another well done job.
• "What What?!" He yelled, The young pirates hesitanting.
• "From the Transporter snail and a surviving resident of the area- Someone raided Blue Edge Island, a women by the name of (Y/N) and several other villagers have been reported stolen by the pirates who did this" The young pirate babbled out-
• "Blue Edge Island?- Is that the little tourist area in the East Blue?-" Mohji mumbled, remembering Buggy ordering for people to keep away from it entirely. Cabaji nodding at this-
• However what was noticed was how oddly silently Buggy was- they all silently looking at each other then at Buggy whos hands were digging into the wood railing- his eyes dark and he was grunting it teeth so hard it sounded like he was chewing sand-
• "....change course...We are heading to Blue Edge Island Now-" He said in a eerily calm voice.
• No one moved a muscle- All just staring at the Warlord who looked ready to explode.
• "I SAID NOW!" His voice roared, loudly- Everyone feeling a rush like they were being strangled in this moment as they felt true fear pour in their vain.
• "YES CAPTIAN!!" Everyone Shouted in unison before rushing off to do as told-
• You were loaded into the unfamiliar ship like cattle, you and other pretty things the Grimy pirates had ripped from your village.
• The crew members shoving a cloth in your mouth as they loaded you and the other scared villagers into the cells. You and the others bound in rope, shivering in fear.
• Feeling the rocking of the ship as the pirates sailed away from your home, after what felt like eternity a man came down- staring at all of you before opening the cell and yanking you out by force. You screaming against the restraints as he pulled you through the halls of the ship before tossing you into what you assumed was the Captian's quarters.
• The Captian staring at you with a wicked grin, fear coursing through your system as he reached forward grabbing the front of your blouse and tearing it open. You crying at this, he groaned and ripped the fabric from your lips.
• "My husband is gonna kick you as-" You started but he backhanded you quickly to shut you up.
• "Silence! You will be perfect, My perfect little bed slav-" The ship suddently rocked harshly, Him staggering as he looked around confused.
• "The hell?!" The angry man yelled as he pulled his hand away from your ruined blouse. You sat there shaking and terrified as you heard loud fighting from outside. Flinching as the doors were slammed open, fear bleeding into you as you expected the pirates from before to return-
• "B-Buggy?" You say softly, Seeing your husband standing there as he sighed in relief at seeing you tossing what seemed to be a man behind him. Rushing to you quickly and Reaching down to quickly cut away the Ropes that held you in place.
• His glove hands running over your face, Wiping the blood from your busted lip from the slap and his face worse then a storm when seeing the ripped blouse and the bruise around your neck from the necklace being ripped away.
• "Are you hurt (Y/N)!?- they didnt-" Be asked carefully, you shaking your head no which seemed to ease your husband greatly as he scooped you up in his arms with great care.
• The second you were in his arms you began to sob, Pressing your face against him as you babbled incoherently 'I was so scared' You managed to wheeze out as Buggg held you close. Rubbing his gloved hand on your back- You didn't see his face but it was twisted in pure rage then..
• Picking you up fully, Buggy carefully walked you out of the Captian's quarters they had you confined in. The other stolen villagers already safely on his ship to get treatment for their injuries.
• No one had ever seen Buggy this pissed off before- It was terrifying. The other pirates beaten within inches of their lives laying there staring at the Warlord once he returned from tucking you into his bed.
• "I-It was just a village!" The Grimy Captian manages out, wheezing through his broken ribs- Buggy scoffed at this and kicked the man square in the mouth shattering his teeth and making the man scream in agony.
• "THAT Village belongs to me- THAT part of the East Blue belongs to me-" Buggy yelled in rage, Pressing a boot into the screaming Captian.
• "and.. THAT women you tried to violate was My Wife-" Buggy said calmly, that's when everyone seemed to understand all at once. The color draining from everyone's faces drained of color.
• Buggy messed with his gloves, a new set you had just sent him and stained with the blood from your lips- he silently listened to the babbling and bloody Captian at his feet begging for his life- 'I didn't know' 'My apologies' and more sprouting from his busted lips- Buggy ignoring them as he stared at the man.
• "You ripped the necklace from her poor neck that had my Jolly Roger on it- You disrespected my Village and My Wife- However I have more important matters for now... So I won't personally rip you apart with my bare hands!" He hissed, But a wide smile that was clearly forced.
• "Set up the Firework Show-" He Said calmly as he turned to walk back to his ship. Buggy's crew seemed to immediately understand what this ment-
• The beaten crew tied to the mast of their own ship as crates of fireworks were loaded on the ship and forced away from the Big Top, Buggy's Canons aimed at the ship as he stood and watched calmly. Already hearing the screams of the other pirates begging for their lives or trying to escape- However that was a foolish thought.
• "FIRE!" Buggy roared once at a safe distance and a massive Buggy Ball was fired at the rival ship- Hitting directly as it exploded in a devastation of colors and screams.
• The Big Top crew all watching the fireworks in awe despite the carnage.
• "Why the Fireworks sir?" Galdino Looking to his Captian who had an unreadable expression on his face.
• "My Wife likes fireworks..." He said simply before dismissing himself while everyone watched the exploding ship and colorful sky-
• Down below Buggy checked on you, Seeing you were asleep wrapped around his pillows. Clearly having cried yourself out.
• Buggy sat on the corner of the bed, His hand rubbing circles on your leg as you laid there- Thinking silently to himself what he needed to do, guilt eating him alive as he stared at you.
• When you woke up you found yourself surrounded...
• By hundreds of Balloon Flowers. Different types and different sizes all scattered around you. Paired with a fresh outfit laid out perfectly on the bed. It didn't take a genius to figure out who had done this.
• You smiling as you touched a balloon sunflower so carefully placed next to you and holding it as a giggle left you-
• "So cheesy.." You whisper out softly and smile.
• Once dressed and holding one of the balloon flowers you walk up to the Main Deck, never having been on Buggys ship before the array of colors surprising you. There were also so many people- Everywhere who would stop for a moment to stare at you, Clearly surprised by your presence.
• Spotting Buggy rather quickly by his inflated size you call to the man. Who turns around red faced and comes to you immediately.
• "Get Back to Bed! You shouldnt be up walking around!" He yelled at you, However you knew this was just his pride and worry for you coming out at the same time. Waving him down to be at your eyelevel, he complies without a thought or word.
• Reaching forward you grab his face gently, giggling at the new scruff there and pull him down for a nice kiss over his lips.
• He gave a Goofy Giggle at this, as red as his nose as you smoothed your hands over his parted hair.
• "Thank you for Rescuing me Buggy Boo~" His eyes soften at this, smiling softly.
• "Anything for you Doll" He all but purred out as he peppered kisses on your cheeks and held you close making you giggle happily.
• His eyes widened however as he saw everyone staring at him with their jaws on the floor he awkwardly coughed.
• "Doll-l um let's get you back to the room okay? It's best until we get back to Blue Edge for now-" He said with the gentlest voice and had one of his hands escort you back to his quarters.
• "What are you looking at?" He growled in defense as everyone scrambled back to work.
• Alvida giggled at this point and looked at him "Whats with the Buggy Bo-"
• "SHUT UP!!"
• It soon spread like wild fire that The Infamous Warlord Buggy had a Wife that was WAY too hot for him-

Yandere!Eustass Kidd x F!Reader
Warnings: Angst, depression, pregnancy, mentions of death, very weird pregnancy cravings from reddit
A/N: yeet, have this. Its is very short compared to all the other chapters ive done on this series. I'll add links and shit after i wake up to go to work. (Chopper: small orange) (Nami: regular orange) (Kidd: small red) (Luffy: regular red)
pt.1 pt.2 pt.3 pt.4 pt.5 pt.6 pt.7 pt.8 pt.9 pt.10 pt.11
~~~
It had only been two days since you’ve reunited with the Straw Hats at Sabaody when you got the news. Having the newspaper fall into your hands with those big, bold letters yelling at you felt gut-wrenching. Once more, the worst came true.
‘G-5 Wiped Out By The Kidd Pirates! No Known Survivors!’
‘The Navy group G-5 had sent out a distress call yesterday night, claiming they were under attack. Captain Tashigi sent out the call in a frenzy, saying that the ship was on fire. As she kept the Navy Headquarters on the line, we hear Vice Admiral Smoker tell her to run and hide. Which is the last we hear from him.’
‘Only when it seems Tashigi was discovered is when we know the culprits for the attack. There seemed to be a struggle before we fully hear the Captain of the Kidd Pirates speak through the transponder snail.’
“I know where she is, and no one is going to stand in my way.”
‘Captain Tashigi’s body has not been found.’
Dropping the papers to the ground, the urge to vomit felt overwhelming. Turning to the railing, you hurled up your lunch as everyone began to ask what was wrong.
“(Y/N)! Are you okay? What’s wrong?” Nami’s voice did little to pierce through the clouds of thoughts in your head. Looking down, Nami saw the newspaper you had just read. “G-5? This is a navy group what-oh, this is about those two marines we saw in Alabasta!” More of the Straw Hats gather around the paper.
“Ooh! What does it say?” Chopper says as he gets picked up by Robin to see.
“It says…” Nami's voice trails off as her face drops in horror. “That they’ve been killed.” An icy silence falls over the Thousand Sunny.
“What? No way!” Grabbing the paper, you see Luffy’s face drop before going blank. “That red-headed bastard.” Gripping the paper tightly, Luffy almost tears it apart.
“But I don’t understand. Why did he attack G-5?” You let out a shaky exhale as you looked over your shoulder.
“Cause they were the ones who brought me back to Sabaody. I managed to escape Kidd again and floated in a barrel on the ocean for about seven hours before they found me. They didn’t know I was a Straw Hat, but they took care of me. They were the ones to help me in the first trimesters of my pregnancy.” Biting your lip, you grip the railing as your eyes grow glassy. “They knew Kidd was after me, and they still helped me. They taught me to fight and how to use my devil fruit powers. Every night, I begged some higher power that he’d leave them alone or not even find out about them."
You feel a hand on your back. “(Y/N), it’s not your fault. Please don’t blame yourself for something Kidd’s done.” Hiccups slip from your lips as tears stream across your skin and into the ocean water below.
“But now they're dead! They wouldn’t have died if they hadn’t helped me! Why does everyone I care about die?” The familiar tingling feeling covers your body as a similar ZAP ring in your ears.
“Ah!”
You see Nami rip her hand away. “I’m sorry, Nami! I didn’t mean to! God, I can’t do anything without hurting the people I care about!” more sobs fly past your lips as electricity slithers around your body.
Rubber limbs wrap around you as Luffy pulls you into a tight embrace. The lightning that surrounded you did nothing to your captain. “(Y/N). I promise you that I’ll kill that man, and you’ll never have to live in fear again.” The zapping stopped as Luffy hugged you.
“Thank you. Please don't let me go back. I can’t go back.” More arms wrap around you.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be safe with us.” While Robin's words gave you a sense of comfort, it wasn’t much. If Kidd was truly able to wipe out an entire Marine group like it was an ant under his boot, then what would he do to the Straw Hats?
Whether you wanted to accept it or not didn’t matter. Kidd wasn’t far and was coming to grab what he believed was rightfully his.
~~~
“(Y/N)? Can I come in?” Nami’s voice cuts through the silence that was suffocating.
“Yeah.” the sound of the door opening and the light entering the room woke you up more. Her footsteps echo throughout the room before you feel a dip at the end of your bed,
“How are you feeling? Any better?”
“No.” You whisper as you curl up more. “The gnawing feeling is only getting worse.”
Sighing, Nami scoots closer to you. “You can tell me if something is bothering you.” She tries to reassure you.
With a shaky breath, you barely tell her the chaos going on in your mind.
“I almost forgot you.”
“What?” She asks, confused.
“There was an incident when I was with Kidd. I hit my head super hard to the point I could’ve died. And the sheer intensity of the hit caused me to have severe amnesia. I didn’t even remember that it was Kidd who attacked my island.” Your voice was soft as you continued. “He told me he saved me. And I believed him. He made himself sound so trustworthy. He fed me lies. Built up a whole relationship for me to believe. And it almost caused me to miss our meet-up. If it wasn’t for someone on the inside who was helping me.”
“Really? Who was it?”
Looking away, you stay quiet for a moment. “I'd rather not talk about it.”
“That’s okay. We don’t have to if you don’t want to.” You nod.
“There's a small, sickening part of me, a part of me that I wish would go away, that misses him.” Gripping the blankets tightly, you grimace. “I know he made up so many lies, but the five months I lost my memory, I remember being so happy.”
“No one is gonna hate you for that (Y/N).” Nami rubs your back.
“It’s been six months. Why can’t I get over it? Why can’t I get over him after all he’s done? Why is my body still cold at night, no matter how many blankets I have? Why do I still have dreams where I love him and want nothing but him?” As your voice grew quieter with each word, guilt continued to eat at you.
“Sometimes our brain works in silly ways, despite how cruel it is. It’s not uncommon for victims like you to experience this. So please don’t think your alone.”
“Even when I’m not thinking about him, I always feel like something's missing. I try so hard to be happy and ignore these feelings, but they eat me up every day. And I hate it. I hate how I can’t go a day without crying.” Your words become shaky as you bite your lip.
“(Y/N)...you have been through so much. No one’s going to hate you for crying. All the tears you shed are justified.”
Letting out a sniffle, you hold your pillow tighter. “I know you're right…so why can’t I accept it? Why do I feel like this? I have so many questions, and it makes my heart heavy—almost all of it unbearable.”
“And yet here you are, alive and pushing through the pain. Even if you don't see it, you're much stronger than you give yourself credit for. Your parents would be proud, even if they're not here to say it.”
“You think so?”
Nami nods. “And the people who hate you for Kidd’s actions don’t deserve your tears. They’ll never know how strong you truly are. Your one of the strongest people I know. Even through hell and high water, you're here.”
You stay silent for a moment. “Do you think I’ll be a good mother?”
“I think you’ll be great.” Hearing Nami’s words, you smiled with tears.
“You're so sweet, and you're all so kind.” Tears slightly slip down your cheeks. “Why am I crying? I’m happy, so why am I crying?” You say through tears.
“Pregnancy’s rough.” Nami chuckles before looking out the window. “I’ll let you get some more sleep, so sleep well, okay?”
“Will do.” You salute with a chuckle of your own.
~~~
“That’s a first.” Robin laughs as she watches you chow down on grilled cheese with pickles in it while dipping it in maple syrup.
“Ew, that looks gross-” A WACK could be heard throughout the dining room as Sanji cut Zoro off.
“Shut up, moss head! She eats what she wants!” While they begin to argue, you can’t help but continue to eat your food, the weird textures satisfying your cravings.
“Is it good?”
“I think so. Why? Wanna try some?” Tearing a part off, you give some to Luffy. You watch as he inhales the piece you handed out to him. The whole table laughed as Luffy gagged.
“Why are you eating that?! It’s like poison!”
“It’s called pregnancy cravings. Many pregnant women have them. It’s very common in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. They do leave closer to the early trimester, but it’s not always the case.” A chuckle leaves your lips as you watch Luffy listen to Chopper's words.
“Wow! What other weird cravings have you had?”
“Well, before I came back to Sunny, I couldn’t get enough of tuna sandwiches with oreos crushed in them.” You answer, slightly embarrassed.
The conversations about your pregnancy cravings could have gone on for hours before you began to have a terrible feeling in your chest. Like something was wrong, but you couldn’t put your finger on it. The seas were clear, and there was no sign of another boat in sight, so why were you feeling this way?
Probably because it’s only been two days since you’ve left G-5, and Kidd had already found them. Which, in turn, means he found you.
Even if the seas were clear now, how long would they be? Whether you’d admit it or not, you knew Kidd was coming. And with him was the blood of the people he’s killed just to get you back to him. All the guilt soon began to flood through you again, but you didn’t want to show the others and ruin the joyful mood around you.
You couldn’t help but be jealous of all your friends around you. They all looked so happy while you silently wallowed in your misery, drowning in your fear of the unknown. You didn't know if when you closed your eyes, you’d open them and see fire surrounding you as Kidd attacked The Sunny or that you’d wake up and see yourself stuck back into the small dark room that Kidd held you captive in.
“(Y/N) are you okay?”
“Hmm? Oh, uh, yeah. Just thinking.” You lie, hoping it’ll be enough.
“If you say so.”
“I promise, Robin, I’m okay. I’m simply thinking about names.” Again, you lie hopefully to put Robin at peace.
“Really?!” Jumping up and down in his seat, Chopper looks at you excitedly. “What are they?!”
While you didn’t have names for the actual baby in your tummy, you had names for the baby you would’ve had with your fiance if they were still alive to this day. “Well, there are (....), (.....), and (....) if they’re a girl, and (.....) or (.....) for a boy.”
“Oh, I like them! Especially the last girl's name.”
“That’s nice to hear. I’m glad.” It was nice to hear how you and your fiance's choices of names were liked. It brought a warm feeling to your chest and helped calm the internal storm inside you—if only a little bit.
~~~
“Princess, where are you?” The sickening sing-song voice of Kidd invades your ears.
‘Oh my god, please no. This can’t be happening.’ Covering your mouth, you hide in the Sunny’s kitchen closet.
“You can’t hide forever. You know I’ll find you.” His voice gets louder as the sound of his boots makes your heart speed up. How did he know you were in the kitchen? Where were the others? How did he even get on the Sunny?
The sound of his boots stopping right in front of the locked door had your blood running cold. There was a sickening silence outside the door, and it made you sick to your stomach.
The bright lights of the kitchen hit your shaking form as Kidd’s shadow soon took over the small hiding spot. You look up in horror and see Kidd’s amber eyes looking down at you. A crazy and sinister smile played against his painted lips.
“There you two are.” With a rough grab, Kidd brings you to your feet and pulls you close. “I’ve been looking for you two for a long time.” The smell of sake and fresh blood invades your nose.
“No, you can come back where you belong by my side. No one here to save you now, princess.”
Your eyes shoot open as you quickly look around, terror filling you as you fear you were no longer on the Thousand Sunny. But thankfully, the sound of a giggling Luffy, Ussop, and Chopper calmed your nerves. Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes and try to go back to sleep.
But as time passed, no amount of counting sheep helped you go back to sleep. All you could think about was the nightmare. It had felt so real. It felt as if his skin had really touched your own. That his presence was really there, even if it was only a dream, you felt dirty. His ‘skin’ touching yours, his hands covered in the blood of hundreds who opposed him. Innocent lives were taken simply because you were no longer trapped in his insanity.
And knowing it ate you alive.
The incident at Halyard Island still plagues you months later. A whole island burned to the ground just like your own. Not to mention the blame they put on you. Even though you know, there was nothing that could have foreseen such a tragedy. It also unfortunately became a reoccurring nightmare. Every time you saw the little boy you had met that day surrounded in flames, calling out to his mom. When you go to try and save him, the flames grow brighter as you're stuck in place. Watching him call out for his mom. The flames would get hotter and hotter as screams of terror echoed around you. Causing you to wake up in a cold sweat.
The nightmare was way more consistent when the incident first happened. But thankfully, it’s not as common as it used to be. Instead of five times a week, it only happened three to four times a month now.
But that didn’t mean all the nightmares stopped together. You had more nightmares than you did nights where you had nothing. Each one leaves you in a cold sweat when you awake from them. Shaking and scanning the room in fear, you were on the Victoria Punk instead of the Thousand Sunny. You had bags under your eyes from the lack of sleep, not including being pregnant. You were even more tired than someone usually would be. At least that's how you felt.
Getting up from your bed, you let out a sigh. Your body hurt, and you just couldn’t wait for the entire pregnancy to be over. No more having to go to the bathroom twenty-four-seven, constant body pains, and nausea. The day couldn’t come fast enough.
KNOCK KNOCK
The sudden sound of knocking makes you more alert. “Hello?! Uh, come in?” As you try to calm down your heart, you see Robin and Chopper enter.
“Oh, Robin! Chopper! How can I help you guys?” You watch as they look at each other in the eyes before looking at you. “Is something wrong?”
“There’s something you need to see.” Holding out her hand, Robin looks towards you. Carefully, you took her hand in yours. A horrible feeling runs through you as soon as you grab her hand. You feel Chopper grab your other hand.
They lead you to the deck where everyone else surrounds a transponder snail. All their faces filled with anger, and clenching their fists as they stare at Luffy, who holds the mic.
“How the hell are you able to call this snail?” Luffy’s voice has you breaking a sweat as you walk down the stairs. You can’t hear the voice on the other line or what they're saying, but it dug a crippling fear in your heart as your mind soared.
“You have a lot of nerve calling my ship and threatening my crew members.” The venom dripping from Luffy’s words has goosebumps on your skin.
“Who is he talking to?” You whisper to Robin. She turns her gaze to you before finally leading you close enough to hear the voice beyond the other line.
“Listen here, you bastard. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll turn around now. Cause the moment I see you, I’m going to kill you for all you’ve done to (Y/N).”
Covering your mouth, you feel lightheaded as you hear his voice.
“I’d like to see you try Straw Hat. I’m going to take (Y/N) back, and the moment I do, I’m going to make you regret stealing from me. Stealing what’s mine.”
“Oh my god.” Your body shakes in its spot.
“She’s not going anywhere with you, Eustass Kidd. I’ll make sure that you’ll never even see her before killing you.”
“Listen here, you little shit, I’m taking her back, and I’ll kill every one of you pathetic Straw Hats. No one, not even the devil, can stop me from taking her back."
You walk over to Luffy, trying to gather confidence before tapping his shoulder. As Luffy turns to you, the look of hatred and rage bubbling in his eyes. “Can I?” As soon as Luffy sees you, his features soften, but not by much.
“Are you sure? You don’t have to.” He whispers to you, yet you nod. There are just so many things you have to ask. Sending a nod in return, Luffy gives you the transponder snail.
“Hello, Kidd.”
“Ah, well, if it isn’t my princess. What a surprise to hear your voice so soon. Thought I’d have to wait just a little longer.” Even if he wasn’t with you, you could practically envision the wide smile on his face.
“How are you able to call us?”
"That doesn’t matter, princess. What matters now is that I found you. After months of looking for you, I finally found you.” The insanity in his voice slipped through the phone, making your chest beat harder.
“Where are you?” I ask as I look around but see nothing. The seas clear as the sun began to set.
“That's not important right now, but I just know you’ll see me soon. And when you do, I’m going to grab you and never let you go.” You're left speechless as you listen to him. “I’ll hold you close and make you watch as I kill off every single Straw Hat before your eyes.”
“You can’t! I won’t let you!” Kidd chuckles from the other side, making a shiver run down your spine.
“Oh, but I will. And when I do, you and our unborn child will be right back where you belong. And you and I both know that you're at a dead end. No more running away from me, princess. I suggest getting ready and packed.” His nonchalant attitude brings you over the edge.
“I won’t be going anywhere! I’m my own person, not an object!” Gripping the snail tight, you yell into the snail. “I won’t let you near my friends or my baby!”
“You know, that’s almost the same thing that Vice Admiral Smoker said before Killer took care of him for me. Went down like a sack of bricks!” Laughter rang through the line, making you ball your hands into fists.
“What did you do to Tashigi? The paper said they never found her body. So what did you do to her?”
“You mean four eyes? Well, that’s actually something I was gonna discuss with you about.” You can practically hear the smirk on his lips. “She’s alive, but her life is in your hands.”
“What? What do you mean?”
“I’ll spare her pathetic life if you come back to me without a fight. But if you don’t, then I’ll kill her.”
“B-Bullshit!” Looking at the snail, you feel a brand new burden on your shoulders. “How do I know you're not lying to me?”
“I thought you might say that, princess.” Scuffling comes from the other side before a door opens and closes. “Oi! Wake up four eyes. You’ve got a person wanting to talk to you.”
A raspy voice answers the phone. “H-Hello?”
“Tashigi?!”
“You're really alive! I thought you were dead!” You cry through the phone. “I’m so happy you're alive!”
“See? I told you she’s alive. And if you come to me like a good girl, she’ll stay that way. But if not, you can say goodbye to Tashigi." His words cause your plan with the Straw Hats to turn upside down. If you don’t come to him willingly, he’ll kill Tashigi, but if you don’t fight back, he’ll kill the Straw Hats. Or hell, he’d try to kill the Straw Hats no matter what you choose. Plus, how are you so sure he’d keep his word? All of it made it feel like your heart and chest would burst.
“Why? Why are you doing this to me?” You clutch your chest as you wait for a response.
“Because people do crazy things when they're in love. And fortunately for you, I am.”

||COUNTDOWN || SEASON 4 EPISODE 03 || THE FALSE BRIDE ||
#83daysofoutlander☆
The rain had stopped; it was the silence that wakened me, I thought.
The smell of smoke was still strong in my nostrils, though—it wasn’t part of the dream.
I poked my head out of my burrow like a snail cautiously emerging from its shell. The sky was a pale purple-gray, shot with streaks of orange over the mountains.
The woods around me were still, and dripping. It was nearly sundown, and darkness was gathering in the hollows. I crawled out all the way, and looked around.
The creek at my back rushed past in full spate, its gurgling the only sound.
The ground rose in front of me to a small ridge. At the top of this stood a large balsam poplar tree, the source of the smoke. The tree had been struck by lightning; half of it still bore green leaves, the canopy bushy against the pale sky. The other half was blackened and charred all down one side of the massive trunk. Wisps of white smoke rose from it like ghosts escaping an enchanter’s bondage, and red lines of fire showed fleetingly, glowing beneath the blackened shell. I looked about for my shoes, but couldn’t find them in the shadows. Not bothering, I made my way up the ridge toward the blasted tree, panting with effort. All my muscles were stiffened with sleep and cold;
I felt like a tree come awkwardly to life myself, stumping uphill on gnarled and clumsy roots. It was warm near the tree. Blissfully, wonderfully warm.
The air smelled of ash and burnt soot, but it was warm. I stood as close as I dared, spreading my cloak out wide, and stood still, steaming. For some time I didn’t even try to think; just stood there, feeling my chilled flesh thaw and soften again into something resembling humanity. But as my blood began to flow again, my bruises began to ache, and I felt the deeper ache of hunger as well; it had been a long time since breakfast. Likely to be a lot longer time till supper, I thought grimly.
The dark was creeping up from the hollow, and I was still lost. I glanced across to the opposite ridge; not a sign of the bloody horse. “Traitor,” I muttered. “Probably gone off to join a herd of elk or something.”
I chafed my hands together; my clothes were halfway dry, but the temperature was dropping; it would be a chilly night. Would it be better to spend the night here, in the open, near the blasted tree, or ought I to return to my burrow while I could still see to do so? A snapping in the brush behind me decided me. The tree had cooled now; though the charred wood was still hot to the touch, the fire had burned out. It would be no deterrent to prowling night hunters. Lacking fire or weapons, my only defense was that of the hunted; lie hidden through the dark hours, like the mice and rabbits. Well, I had to go back to fetch my shoes anyway. Reluctantly leaving the last vestiges of warmth, I made my way back down to the fallen tree.
Crawling in, I saw a pale blur against the darker earth in the corner.
I set my hand on it, and found not the softness of my buckskin moccasins, but something hard and smooth. My instincts had grasped the reality of the object before my brain could retrieve the word, and I snatched my hand away. I sat for a moment, my heart pounding. Then curiosity overcame atavistic fear, and I began to scoop away the sandy loam around it.
It was indeed a skull[...]
The light was too dim to see details[...]
How long? Eight or nine year, the grave-digger said to Hamlet. I had no notion whether Shakespeare knew anything about forensics, but it seemed a reasonable estimate to me. Longer than nine years, then. How had he come here? By violence, my instincts answered, though my brain was not far behind. An explorer might die of disease, hunger or exposure—I firmly suppressed that line of thought, trying to ignore my growling stomach and damp clothes—but he wouldn’t end up buried under a tree. The Cherokee and Tuscarora buried their dead, all right, but not like this, alone in a hollow. And not in fragments, either. [...]
“Somebody took a real dislike to you, didn’t they?” I said. “Didn’t stop with a scalp; they took your whole head.”
Which made me wonder—was the rest of him here, too?
I rubbed a hand across my face, thinking, but after all, I had nothing better to do; I wasn’t going anywhere before daylight, and the likelihood of sleep had grown remote with the discovery of my companion. I set the skull carefully to one side, and began to dig. It was fully night by now, but even the darkest of nights outdoors is seldom completely without light. The sky was still covered with cloud, which reflected considerable light, even in my shallow burrow. The sandy earth was soft, and easy to dig in, but after a few minutes of scratching, my knuckles and fingertips were rubbed raw, and I crawled outside, long enough to find a stick to dig with. A little more probing yielded me something hard; not bone, I thought, and not metal, either.
Stone, I decided, fingering the dark oval. Just a river stone? I thought not; the surface was very smooth, but with something incised in it; a glyph of some kind, though my touch was not sufficiently sensitive to tell me what it was. More digging yielded nothing. Either the rest of Yorick wasn’t here, or it was buried so far down that I had no chance of discovering it. I put the stone in my pocket, sat back on my heels, and rubbed my sandy hands on my skirts. At least the exercise had warmed me again. I sat down again and picked up the skull, holding it in my lap. Gruesome as it was, it was the semblance of company, some distraction from my own plight. And I was quite aware that all my actions of the last hour or so had been distractions; designed to fight off the panic that I could feel submerged below the surface of my mind, waiting to erupt like the sharp end of a drowned tree branch. It was going to be a long night. “Right,” I said aloud to the skull. “Read any good books lately? No, I suppose you don’t get round much anymore. Poetry, maybe?” I cleared my throat and started in on Keats, warming up with “Written in Disgust of Vulgar Superstition” and going on with “Ode on a Grecian Urn.”[...]
The final stanza faded on my lips. There was a light on the ridge. A small spark, growing to a flame. At first I thought it was the lightning-blasted tree, some smoldering ember come to life—but then it moved. It glided slowly down the hill toward me, floating just above the bushes. I sprang to my feet, realizing only then that I had no shoes on. Frantically, I groped about the floor, covering the small space again and again. But it was no use. My shoes were gone. I seized the skull and stood barefoot, turning to face the light.
I watched the light come nearer, drifting down the hill like a milkweed puff. One thought floated in my paralyzed mind—a random line of Shelley’s: Fiend, I defy thee! with a calm, fixed mind.
Somewhere in the dimmer recesses of my consciousness, something observed that Shelley had had much better nerves than I.
I clutched the skull closer. It wasn’t much of a weapon—but somehow I didn’t think that whatever was coming would be deterred by knives or pistols, either.
It wasn’t only that the wet surroundings made it seem grossly improbable that anyone was strolling through the woods with a blazing torch. The light didn’t burn like a pine torch or oil lantern. It didn’t flicker, but burned with a soft, steady glow.
It floated a few feet above the ground, just about where someone would hold a torch they carried before them. It drew slowly nearer, at the pace of a man walking.
I could see it bob slightly, moving to the rhythm of a steady stride. I cowered in my burrow, half hidden by the bank of earth and severed roots. I was freezing cold, but sweat ran down my sides and I could smell the reek of my own fear. My numb toes curled in the dirt, wanting to run. I had seen St. Elmo’s fire before, at sea. Eerie as that was, its liquid blue crackle didn’t resemble at all the pale light approaching. This had neither spark nor color; only a spectral glow. Marsh gas, people in Cross Creek said when the mountain lights were mentioned. Ha, I said to myself, though soundlessly. Marsh gas my left foot! The light moved through a small thicket of alders, and out into the clearing before me. It wasn’t marsh gas. He was tall, and he was naked. Beyond a breechclout, he wore nothing but paint; long stripes of red down arms and legs and torso, and his face was solid black, from chin to forehead. His hair was greased and dressed in a crest, from which two turkey feathers stiffly pointed. I was invisible, completely hidden in the darkness of my refuge, while the torch he held washed him in soft light, gleaming off his hairless chest and shoulders, shadowing the orbits of his eyes. But he knew I was there. I didn’t dare to move. My breath sounded painfully loud in my ears. He simply stood there, perhaps a dozen feet away, and looked straight into the dark where I was, as though it were the broadest day. And the light of his torch burned steady and soundless, pallid as a corpse candle, the wood of it not consumed. I don’t know how long I had been standing there before it occurred to me that I was no longer afraid. I was still cold, but my heart had slowed to its normal pace, and my bare toes had uncurled. “Whatever do you want?” I said, and only then realized that we had been in some sort of communication for some time. Whatever this was, it had no words. Nothing coherent passed between us—but something passed, nonetheless. The clouds had lifted, shredding away before a light wind, and dark streaks of starlit sky showed through rents in the racing cirrus. The wood was quiet, but in the usual way of a drenched night-wood; the creaks and sighs of tall trees moving, the rustle of shrubs brushed by the wind’s restless edge, and in the background the constant rush of invisible water, echoing the turbulence of the air above.
I breathed deeply, feeling suddenly very much alive. The air was thick and sweet with the breath of green plants, the tang of herbs and musk of dead leaves, overlaid and interlaced with the scents of the storm—wet rock, damp earth, and rising mist, and a sharp hint of ozone, sudden as the lightning that had struck the tree. Earth and air, I thought suddenly, and fire and water too. And here I stood with all the elements; in their midst and at their mercy.
“What do you want?” I said again, feeling helpless. “I can’t do anything for you. I know you’re there; I can see you. But that’s all.”
Nothing moved, no words were spoken. But quite clearly the thought formed in my mind, in a voice that was not my own. That’s enough, it said. Without haste, he turned and walked away. By the time he had gone two dozen paces, the light of his torch disappeared, fading into nonexistence like the final glow of twilight into night. “Oh,” I said, a little blankly. “Goodness.” My legs were trembling, and I sat down, the skull—which I had almost forgotten—cradled in my lap. I sat there for a long time, watching and listening, but nothing further happened. The mountains surrounded me, dark and impenetrable. Perhaps in the morning, I could find my way back to the trail, but for now, wandering about in darkness could lead to nothing but disaster. I was no longer afraid; my fear had left me during my encounter with—whatever it was. I was still cold, though, and very, very hungry. I put down the skull and curled myself up beside it, pulling my damp cloak around me. It took a long time to fall asleep, and I lay in my chilly burrow watching the evening stars wheel overhead through rifts in the cloud. I tried to make sense of the last half hour, but there was really nothing to make sense of; nothing, really, had happened. And yet it had; he had been there. The sense of him remained with me, somehow vaguely comforting, and at last I fell asleep, cheek pillowed on a clump of dead leaves. I dreamt uneasily, because of cold and hunger; a procession of disjoint images. Lightning-blasted trees, blazing like torches. Trees uprooted from the earth, walking on their roots with a dreadful lurching gait. Lying in the rain with my throat cut, warm blood pulsing down across my chest, a queer comfort to my chilling flesh. My fingers numb, unable to move. The rain striking my skin like hail, each cold drop a hammer blow, and then the rain itself seemed warm, and soft upon my face. Buried alive, black soil showering down into open eyes. I woke, heart pounding. Lay silent. It was deep night now; the sky stretched clear and endless overhead, and I lay in a bowl of darkness. After a time, I slept again, pursued by dreams. Wolves howling in the distance. Fleeing panicked through a forest of white aspen that stood in snow, the trees’ red sap glowing like bloody jewels on white-paper trunks. A man standing in the bleeding trees with his head plucked bald, save a standing crest of black, greased hair. He had deep eyes and a shattered smile, and the blood on his breast was brighter than the tree sap. Wolves, much closer. Howling and barking and the scent of blood hot in my own nose, running with the pack, running from the pack. Running. Harefooted, white-toothed, and the ghost of blood a taste in my mouth, a tingle in my nose. Hunger. Chase and catch and kill and blood. Heart hammering, blood racing, sheer panic of the hunted. I felt my armbone crack with a noise like a dry branch snapping, and tasted marrow warm and salty, slippery on my tongue. Something brushed my face and I opened my eyes.

Punch out boxers and what pet(s) they would have
hey bestie, exam season is almost over so im recovering a bit so why not give this to you all??
Glass Joe - small, fluffy and cute white cat that is the spawn of satan, knocking shit over, eating your food, wrecking the couch, massacring the toilet paper, all while looking adorable, named "Bouffon", sometimes called bonbon because of it
Von Kaiser - a doberman thats scary as shit but a complete angel, very loud barks when scared but very cute otherwise, named "Turm"
Disco Kid - an african grey parrot that never shuts up, really cool but still the spawn of hell to a certain point, always singing or quoting stuff,named "Angel"
King Hippo - a capybara & a turtle, he lets the capybara on his bed and the turtle has its own pond, both of them are pretty chill and the most evil they do is just bumping into doors, the capybara is named "coco" since Hippo made a hat for it using a coconut shell, the turtle is named "Reef" since he ran out of ideas
Piston Hondo - some koi fish & a praying mantis, he has a pond for his fish and decorates it, meditating there when the weathers right, the praying mantis has its own terrarium and doesnt let it out unless he has to change up something since hes paranoid about crushing it, the koi fish dont have names but the praying mantis is named "リーフ" (Leaf) since he found it fighting some bug on a leaf
Bear Hugger - besides the squirrel (we dont count mrs bear since shes more of a friend and it would be rude to call her a pet)he has a pet snail and a rabbit, the snail is one of his first pets and he got it when he first started his boxing career and found it in the showers after a match, its named "squeaky" because of that, he actually found the rabbit not too long ago after feeding it some dandelions, it just came over to his house on a daily basis after a while and he accepted it, the rabbits named "Dandy" since bear hugger saw it eating a dandelion and ran with it
Great Tiger - has a pet snake & a gecko, the snake has a pattern somewhat reminiscent of a tiger with its Orange & Black stripes, despite its fierce appearance, its pretty shy and hides a lot, the gecko is the opposite of that: it may look not very intimidating but its a menace, the snake is named "tiger" (how creative) and the gecko is named "Woob", aran came up with the name after taking a glare at it and just saying "woob."
Don Flamenco - other than the spider that carmen owns, he has a pet goldfish named "Fish" that he he just feeds and fucks off, he has 0 emotional attachment to it, he could see it dead and he would go "damn sucks to suck" And move on, hes not the one for pets
Aran Ryan - a mountain lion he thought was just a really big cat, he gave it a bath, fed it some meat and just adopted it, it doesnt really mind but its like... really confused, aran named it "princess", the way he found out was him inviting bear hugger over and seeing him go "IS THAT A FUCKING MOUNTAİN LION" the moment princess walked out of the bathroom after eating the toilet paper again
Soda Popinski - a husky thats absolutely running from place to place 99% of the time, its sometimes a bit mishievious but pretty well behaved, its named "soda" since thats pretty much his idea of a cute name
Bald Bull - a lazy fat ass street cat that sleeps most of the time or just eats food, its mishievious but not enough to bother moving, its suprisingly good at opening cabinets and eating to its own hearts content, he really has no way to stop it, named "Tombili"
Super Macho Man - a shi tzu named "puffy" that likes to nibble on wood, its very fluffy since he takes great care to brush it
Mr Sandman - Not the type own a pet since hes indecisive about it, had a few pet goldfish before but thats about it for him

Wonderful Precure Episode 40 Review - Wonderfloof
This was certainly a weird episode. It was a mix of plot progression then followed by shenanigans that happened because of Niko. Iroha and Mayu become a dog and a cat for a short while, so they get to experience a brief moment of being in their pets’ shoes. But uh…what’s the point of this? To show that Niko can make mistakes? Just for fun?
I do notice that Precure really likes to divert its attention way from plot elements to add in silliness like this to hinder plot progression at times. It sucks that Wonderful’s story is moving at a snail’s pace…and it’s already the fortieth episode. Regardless, it was fun fan service. It was an interesting detail to see Iroha and Mayu turning into orange and brown-haired animals. I did remember someone on social media complain about why Mayu was a brown cat, but it’s because that’s her hair color so it’s obvious she’ll be brown. My favorite parts of the episode were Satoru carrying off dog Iroha and Yuki being excited to play with cat Mayu. For the cat duo, it’s amusing how the tables have turned with Yuki being in Mayu’s position and Mayu in Yuki’s.
It seems that the shrine Gaou and his posse were in is now empty as they have moved to another area. I do sort of wish to see an interaction with Gaou and Torame as I am interested to see what sort of relationship those two have compared to Zakuro’s more romantically inclined relationship with him. Speaking of Torame, there was some insight to him. Because he’s a wolf, his ‘playing’ may actually genuinely be playing. He’s always trying to look for some fun like how dogs do. I sort of find him intriguing because of this.
The twist with Satoru turning into a rabbit was not what I was expecting for an ending, but the lack of Daifuku is the biggest flaw of this episode. Come on, why couldn’t you add in Daifuku to this episode? He deserves to see Satoru like this! It seems that next week will also be filler of some kind. Now that we’re at the fortieth episode mark, I would assume they would focus more on the story, but I guess not… What do you think?
