To be clear, there will be NO 🙅‍♀️ multishipping on this blog. That’s all fine and well for some people, power to you! But I am not one of them. When I ship it’s because I think those two characters are so intertwined together and have a bond that nothing can separate. They are separate halves, twin flames, soulmates, preordained by the stars, meant to be, you get it. And I like shipping based on canon content, I just don’t think it’s fun to base a ship off headcanons, but that’s just me. So if you see me ship a pair on this blog, you can be sure, with 100% confidence, that I do not and will never ship either of those characters with someone else.

#how can I think that two people are so cosmically destined with intertwined souls and then be like #oh actually this person they just met and have known for five minutes is also comparable to my ship #or oh cool I like their designs next to each other that’ll do it!#and I say this with no malice #one of my best friends is a multishipper and we laugh about our different ways of shipping all the time #for me it’s about the history 🤌#the yearning 🤌#the tension 🤌#the angst 🤌#the we can’t help but keep coming back together 🤌#the I know you better than anyone could ever hope to 🤌#I just thought I had to be clear about this bc multishipping seems so common nowadays in fandom spaces #I’ve seen people say if you don’t multiship you’re toxic which! is crazy to me!#we’re just different and that’s okay #I will block you tho…#but not out of anger or anything but just bc I’m catering my experience to be enjoyable to me #I used to only block people if they said something so horrendous even my ancestors gasped #but honestly it’s not that serious anymore #I just wanna have a nice time when I’m online #so I will block anyone posting about shipping half of my ship with someone else #even if you also ship my ship #please don’t take it personally 😔
