it’s crazy how so many doctor who fanfics cast reinette as the villain against rose

when rose and reinette understood each other

rose was jealous, yes

but reinette was the mistress of the king of france

she understood what it meant to love someone who loves someone else

and rose had just met sarah jane

she knew what it meant to love the doctor, a man who had loved so many other people

there’s a lot of jealousy in the storyline, but if you actually think about it

they never were monogamous

they were in love with so many people all at once

highkey the show would have been so much better if the doctor and all his companions were not so jealous of each other

they care about each other so much

and if (a) the companions were less jealous and (b) the doctor was less jealous

they would have been fantastic together

I always have a soft spot for characters who have a protective streak for another out of gratitude for their kindness towards them, but Charles’ protectiveness towards Edwin really hits a particular way because it’s so so apparent that it’s specifically about wanting Edwin to feel as safe and as comfortable around him as Edwin made Charles feel in his dying moments. I’m going to shatter like glass.

Begging swifties to understand that Taylor didn’t write reputation and Lover with the knowledge of how the relationship was going to end and that trying to “excavate” those albums for evidence to prove a specific theory as to why it ended is not how they should be viewed. Taylor wrote those songs feeling a very specific way because that’s what she was experiencing and she is now reflecting on them with hindsight and relates to them differently than when she first created them. These conflicting emotions can exist; how she views it now doesn’t diminish how she felt about it when she first released it.

Killing Daisuke’s parents but also like feeling so bad for them.

Imagine your kid absolutely devastated to have to be sent away to some shitty internship but you think it’s for the best. You don’t hear back from the company for a while and just think it’s gonna take a while. It’s a long trip after all. Then those long weeks turn to long months and then you get news they haven’t had contact with the crew in a long time. You don’t know if you’re ever gonna see your kid again.

You don’t know if he’s coming back from a trip he didn’t want to even go on. That you made him go on. I’d never forgive myself.
