Elaborating on my previous Oda romance/LuNami post

For the ones who read my previous long post analyzing Oda's thoughts on romance in One Piece + LuNami, thank you!

I'd like to elaborate on some things right here in case some people may misinterpret some of my viewpoints on how Oda portrays LuNami. So, one thing I see many LuNami fans point out is that Oda making LuNami subtle in his manga is on purpose, which I do wholeheartedly agree with! While it definitely is intentionally subtle, my post was to point out WHY that is the case, because Oda goes out of his way to show off the more cliché or "obvious" stuff in non-manga material, while the manga basically exclusively contains subtle things, indicating that there is something holding him back from putting this cliché stuff in his main story, which is what 95% of the content Oda makes even comes from. And as I pointed out in the post, I think it's him wanting to appeal to boys. I do think that if it wasn't for that, plus his shyness about romance, that he would put in more obvious cliché things in his manga, as he seems to be doing that for his non-manga material.

Now, this subtlety LuNami has in the manga is what draws many LuNami fans to the ship, which makes a ton of sense no doubt, in the manga it's basically the ship's bread and butter. My post wasn't to say "Omfg stop being subtle forget your audience and put in obvious shit in your manga Oda!" Nope, definitely not. My post was to point out that he truly DOES see LuNami as romantic and the reason I pointed it out in the first place is because it's so subtle in the manga that some people need convincing that the subtleties in the manga are truly LuNami hints and not just something you can dismiss like all the naysayers do.

This is why I talked about the non-canon material so much in that post, to prove how it's obvious that he DOES really like LuNami because of how the non-manga shit is so much more obvious with LuNami hints. Mr. "I think romance is a good idea for Film: Gold" also said "OP is a shounen manga ffs, no romance depicted lmao". Totally different statements, one for his manga, one for an optional movie... hmm, there's no way my post has any sort of validity!

By the way when Oda said "no romance depicted" he's not full of shit or whatever, he clearly refers to obvious romances stories that aren't subtle hints like how he portrayed LuNami in the manga. Every time he mentions romance it's clear he means the obvious stuff, of course I think it's obvious how UsoKaya is basically canon but there's no dedicated romance story between them in the manga.

This predicament that I think Oda is in with making it subtle in his manga and less subtle outside his manga, is why LuNami seems so easy to trivalize for so many people. Because in the manga it's so subtle that people can easily just go "Nah that is not what it means" and in non-manga material it's like "No man it's non-canon bullshit who cares it's not in the manga". But see, these people saying this is exactly what I think Oda wants his boy audience to think! So... good job I guess!

Now, I know that I may seem to be putting in just a bit too much stock into Oda being restricted by his audience, which yeah I do see why you would think so if you happen to think that. However he keeps bringing up his readers, over and over and over AND OVER AND OVER again when nobody even asked him about that, dude.

You all loved Ronnie, Eugene, and Azai so much and I can't thank you all enough for it. The art raffle with y'alls oc's and the stuffing drive for Eugene was so much fun too! Managing the blog itself had become a lot to handle however.

I hadn't known how to properly use tumblr back when I started, with default pfps specifically. I had originally thought that it was just users with no pfp. But with learning that most of them could've been bots I started blocking away. At that time default pfps had liked my old art posts and it was taking forever to block them. It was getting overwhelming. (its easy blocking blogs with no age/not 18+ -- as any nsfw blog should think. 👀)

Along with that, with my current living situation I don't have as much time to draw like I want to. I've tried to convince myself to gather the courage and leave said situation- and combined with CPTSD, severe anxiety and AUdhd, it's almost impossible. Especially without a support group irl that could help get me out of it. (hopefully ill get out of it soon :> )

And belly kink in general isn't in my mind constantly like it used to. I mean, I still LOVE IT don't get me wrong. But it's hard for me to actively draw it out without it in my mind. I made this blog so that I can passionately enjoy it- not turn it into some chore.

With all of these things combined, I would have periods where I wouldn't post for months at a time. Which I absolutely hated. But as time went by I realized that I didn't have this blog on my mind as much anymore and couldn't easily get back on it. Hence this post. I couldn't leave this blog without some sort of explanation, it wouldn't be fair to just delete it out of the blue and leave y'all confused. As of right now, there is no set date for when I actually leave and delete the blog. I'm still thinking about it. But if I were to come back fully invested- I'd make a new blog and start anew. Maybe rebrand a little. Have new characters, more animations and have cool events. But look out for a date on this post just in case you want to save any art or fics of mine for yourself.

I want to thank the few people who have commissioned me and have won in the art raffle. It was so much fun drawing everyone's oc's!! (the most patient people I've ever met omfg). Thank you to the two people who have donated to my KoFi. Those generous commissions and donations have helped me with bills. If i ever were able to list all the things i dislike in Magisterium series, this post would've been endless. Instead, I'd mention smth i love so much that it makes me re-read the series for the fifth time and gives me inspiration for new drawings and playlists

The first one is aesthetic. I don't think I've ever read a YA book with the death and necromancy as the main lore theme. Also, the first book in series is so sweet and innocent compared to the fourth I can't believe it lol. Corpses. So gothic. So edgy. Love it

The second is very similar to the first - chaos magic. We come across elemental magic in all sorts of media, but they don't usually have the 5th element, or if they have it's more likely to be electricity or smth. Not ACTUAL NECROMANCY omfg... I love it. Also Makars being able to manipulate not only chaos (the void itself) but the soul.... Cute

So next. The main character ofc. Callum Hunt. What can I say he is such a cinnamon roll hating himself for what he is not. Screaming, crying, throwing up. I can feel his pain with every fiber of my soul he's so relatable. He is a type of chaotic neutral main character which is rare I guess, and at the same time he doesn't act like a total jerk and piece of shit. Can't name some other like him, idk. He's sweet but also edgy. His self-confidence is below the surface of the earth. He's just like me frfr my poor little meow meow. Also he is disabled and it influences the events of the book. Sometimes. Cool, representative. Not a disabled person myself but can appreciate it

Another reason for me to love the series is the changing of Call's secrets idk how to call this. The structure of his character lore. His secrets and abilities, they're layered.. you know... And every book one by one uncovers these layers: 1 - he uncovers that he is the reincarnation of Constantine. 2 - he gets his powers (which made Constantine evil at the first place). 3 - he learns more about Constantine's family, and the whole world finds out that he "is" the Enemy of Death. 4 - omg how much he uncovers here lol i can't. May be my favourite book thanks to its maaad vibe. Everything he learns here makes him closer and closer to Constantine. 5 - i know that most of the fandom thinks it was stupid to make Constantine himself a reincarnated thousand-years-old evil Makar. And i may agree. But in the moment of reading this it was so impactful for me idk why.... I literally cried idk!!! Lol. Love the moment where Call opens his memory to help his friends to fight wolves or smth, and PASSES OUT. KING. So, the other secret is uncovered here. Everything he learns makes him understand Constantine's/Maugris's motives, but he never ever becomes anything like them nor wishes to follow their path. Pretty symbolic and meaningful

Upd. SOME MOMENTS ARE FREAKING HILARIOUS

So what can I say? Every series has it's weak and strong points. Some of them become classic literature, some are forgotten in the abyss of YA books. I understand why Magisterium's place is with the second type of series, and it's not even saddens me anymore (we're so underground teehee). But i see many posts where the series is shitted over, and not much of posts appreciating the things that we actually love in it. Aren't they the reason you started and finished it sometime? So I'm here spreading positivity! And also because I'm so tired of being a fan of this shit so i tried to acknowledge all that i love, and why am i here in the first place

My personal headcanons for Elizabeth and Charlie as teenagersssss!!! (an AU where Elizabeth and Charlie are very much alive and well and they grow up together I guess ahhHhhhhh)

Elizabeth:

Natural born PERFORMER! Just like her dad. Loves loves loves making people laugh or just entertaining in general

Bubbly, very much a “girly-girl”. I like to imagine she’s pretty popular at school- given how I like to think she loves a good performance, maybe she’s on the cheer team! That would be cute. Also tries out for the yearly school play for sure, always aims for the MAIN role (maybe she gets it one year and William is just like “THAT’S MY GIRL ON STAGE”)

While she’s generally sweet, I do like to think she’s got a bit of a crazy steak to her. Like father like daughter. Eccentric, cunning, and very smart. If she *wants to*, she would be able to manipulate those around her very very very well, because she comes off as such a sweetheart

Polite, “kill them with kindness” sort of attitude she puts on (especially with the rude customers at her dad’s pizza place. Omfg) unless somebody messes with a person she deeply cares for

Hurricane is a small town (I think…lol), so she’s definitely known as “that girl whose dad is this weird British guy owns that popular pizza place” and naturally people are quite drawn to her because of that, I think. I mean Hurricane doesn’t seem that exciting, of course everybody’s like “omg. British?”

I do like the idea that Charlie teaches her how to skateboard for some reason. That’s so random tho (I drew teenage Lizzie riding a skateboard once that’s literally all)

Charlie:

When I was first drawing my version of a teenage Charlie, I was instantly like “she’d be a teen in the 90s, sooo. I wanna make her a grunge kid”. Idk why, I just love that idea. Ripped jeans, muted flannels, band t-shirts, etc etc. all that. That’s so fun. Even if she’s like a “wanna-be grunge kid” (which is even better imo) I love it

Favorite band is Nirvana for SURE

Expresses interest in wanting to play the drums and her dad got her a drum kit for her 16th birthday 🤗

Nice girl- a little shy, quiet around those she isn’t comfy with, kind of the loner kid at school (I get it, girl, I was that too). She has a good heart though, much like her dad. She doesn’t have a ton of close friends, except Elizabeth, who is by her side basically 24/7. Social anxiety, maybeee (…self projection? Shhh)

Introverted. I imagine she loves to just lay in her room listening to her favorite bands. Maybe she’s really into certain bands- posters, t-shirts, concerts, etc etc. music is a nice escapism when she’s stressed :)

Very Interested in what Henry does- the whole “building robots” thing is very very very COOL to her. Loves to hang with him at the workshop when she can, esp during summer break :) he sorta shows her the ins and outs of what all goes on, and she’s extremely fascinated

Also works at Freddy’s! Sorta just does whatever lol, idk. Elizabeth sticks up for Charlie if a customer is rude to her

Lizzie really isn’t the type of person she’d hang out with typically, but they grew up together and their bond just became stronger :) some kids at school find it strange that these two are pretty different in many ways but are besties

I didn't draw a scene but this popped up in my head and I couldn't stop thinking of it.

Them watching a movie and MC falling asleep on pap! Or their first touch since they met.

OMFG THIS IS AMAZING!!! I can't believe I've only posted 3 chapters of Wishbone and yet you've managed to captured their relationship dynamic and overall Vibes so perfectly. Love love love how you've drawn the MC (I picture them with very similar hair and colouring and resting expression, funnily enough!) and Papyrus!!!! Beloved!!!!! His panic is just perfect. I love how happy he looks in the first panel too, he's just so pleased to be there with the MC!!! The blush is so cute, I wanna gnaw on him.

I was super super super inspired by this and cranked out a little oneshot based on it that I've popped below the cut! Thank you so much!

Movie Night

"I don't get it," you say, eyes fixed to the TV, a furrow between your brows. "So, he plays all of the characters? Even the villains?"

"even the baddies," Papyrus confirms. Unlike you, he is not focussed on the screen; instead, he's doing his best to sneak furtive, sidelong glances at you and how little space there is between the two of you on the couch. Not even a full cushion's worth. It's scandalous. He can barely breathe, much less adequately explain the ins and outs of Napstaton's impressive discography to you. "he does all the camera work, too, and directing, and editing. 's real impressive, you'll see."

"And you like this movie in particular," you say dubiously, gesturing towards the screen, which is paused on the opening sequence of Napstaton: Rise of the Napocolypse. The freeze frame features the robot in question atop a (very cool!) motorcycle, riding through a halo of flame, fleeing from an identical, yet somehow perceptively darker, moodier version of himself who is also astride a (slightly less cool) motorcycle.

"uh-huh," he confirms. "there's great characterisation in this one, the arcs are great. and the pyrotechnics are very realistic."

"Right," you say. For some reason, he gets the sense that you don't believe him, but the fact that you've even agreed to give the movie a shot is progress. You're willingly engaging in monster culture and you're spending time with him; he's not gonna look a gyftrot in the mouth.

You settle further into the couch, digging into the bowl of chisps he'd placed on the coffee table before you arrived. When you shift forward to put the bowl back, your knee brushes his femur, and he breaks into a cold sweat.

"i'll! i'll start the movie, then? if you're ready? unless you want more snacks? a drink? a meal? i can't really cook, but i can use the microwave? if you want? you can eat sans' leftovers? i'm sure he won't mind!" 

Sans would very much mind if you, of all people, ate his food. Papyrus half expects you to eat it based on that alone.

"I'm okay, thank you," you say, a small, amused smile tugging at your lips. Wordlessly, you pluck the TV remote from where it'd been sitting in the not cushion-width chasm and press play.

The speakers rattle with the boom of explosives as Napstaton unleashes a hailstorm of firepower against his identical enemy. You blink, but make no comment, giving your full attention to the TV.

He forces himself to do the same, even though your leg is still so close to his, and he can smell your shampoo. What he actually wants to do is focus on you and your reactions; are you enjoying movie? Are you following the plotline? Do you also appreciate the delicate balance between the Napstaton's as they vye for power? The struggle between duty and the heart? The laser cannons? He really hopes you like those; he'd helped 'Dyne make them Underground, and he plans on secretly fishing for compliments on them after the movie's over.

Around halfway through the movie, as Napstaton casually dodges bullets in slow motion while checking his reflection in a shattered mirror, Papyrus feels pressure on his shoulder.

First, he thinks you're tapping him to get his attention, which would be crazy because you never touch him, not since that first time, but when he looks down, it's not your hand on his shoulder. It's your whole ass head.

There's a beat of silence. On the TV, Napstaton stands atop a pile of rubble, arms akimbo, gazing heroically into the distance as a nearby TV anchor (also played by him, though wearing a mussed synthetic wig) reports: 'Will our flamboyant, fearless, and, let’s be honest, incredibly well-oiled hero arrive in time to save us all?'

"um," says Papyrus.

You do not respond. Napstaton backflips off the rubble. Papyrus begins to sweat.

"um?!" he tries again, a little louder.

Nada from you. Have you just keeled over randomly? Humans do that, right? He's read about spontaneous human combustion, is this something similar?

He looks down at you, twisting his neck to get a better look. Your face is still, eyes closed, but then he hears the slow, measured beat of your soft exhales.

Oh. You're asleep! That… that tracks. You're bone-tired literally all of the time, and this is probably the longest you've spent not having to work in ages. It certainly makes more sense than you just up and dying like a startled hamster over some laser cannons.

… oh, fuck, you're asleep, on him, like he's your own personal bony body pillow, and though he's definitely not opposed to that, he's sure you would be. As far as you've come, you'd never touch him, not on purpose.

You look honest like this, your face relaxed and open. Similar to the faux transparency you're so good at faking, but there's subtle differences, little minutiae of the human expression that are impossible to replicate. There's a softness to the set of your closed eyes he's never seen before, like the tension you carry behind them has disappeared, all those tiny muscles forced to relax. Your cheek is squished up against his shoulder, making it appear comically fuller towards the top, and from his vantage point - craning his neck down at you like a creep and almost popping a disc in the process - he can see that your lips are just slightly agape. The gentle puff of your breath continues, perfectly rhythmic.

As he watches, you let out a tiny sigh, and rub your face against his jacket. His soul goes warm in his chest. You're so fucking cute. You're cute all the time, of course, but there's something about you when you're so off-guard (like you trust him, almost) that makes his soul feel like it's on fire. His skull, too; unlike Napstaton, he doesn't have a mirror at the ready, but he knows he's blushing all the same.

What does he do now? Does he wake you up? No, no way; you need your rest. But what if you want him to wake you? You would, surely. You're not a napper; or, rather, your lifestyle doesn't allow you time to take a deep breath, much less get proper sleep. He has no doubt that, if you were to wake up, you'd get embarrassed and angry and rush off to subject yourself to more work, and probably not talk to him for a whole month.

On the TV, Napstaton forces the neck of his enemy between his robotic biceps and then flexes, popping the other robot’s head clean off. It's a pity you've fallen asleep so quickly; the movie's barely gotten to the good bit. He doesn't blame you, though. He knows you're exhausted.

Okay, so he's definitely not disturbing you. But what if you wake up, and get upset at him for letting you sleep? He doesn't want that either. He needs plausible deniability, or whatever it’s called, for why he didn’t wake you up.

…well, there's only one option, and luckily for Papyrus, it's one of the few things he's good at. Sans has always said he could fall asleep anywhere.

Doing his best not to jostle you, Papyrus tips his head to the back of the couch and closes his sockets. You are warm and solid against his shoulder and the weight of you, the physical reminder that you are here with him, that you trust him enough for this, guides him to a peaceful, dreamless sleep.

All five of these illustrations feature completely canon dialogue dating back from January when they first started trying for a baby. now that Loki finally confirmed that he’s actually pregnant a few weeks ago - clearly out loud and in words - it is finally time to reveal this news to all of YOU!

As nudged upon here and also in my many recent lore essays, please remember that Loki’s ~antsy~ when it comes to his pregnancies and history of children; due to the prior tragedies that had befallen the first six he’s always made it a habit of just vanishing, paranoid and anxious, each time he’s found himself pregnant. However Maci and Tory unequivocally and wholeheartedly asking him to make a baby with them because 💞love💞 and 💞lust💞 and 💞clingy vibes💞- again LITERALLY the first EVER baby ON PURPOSE EVER- was enough to IMMEDIATELY make him go starry eyed. Even though over these past few months since Tory first initiated the talk Loki had…. Still has……. refused to admit that and continued to be his usual vaguely hostile and suspicious self but….

As of today he’s six weeks pregnant (he can always, magically, tell right away) and he has not yet disappeared.in fact he hasn’t even left their BED or their SIDE in THREE MONTHS. 🥺 mhy god hellO., Loki you’re so full of shit and they’re onto you. Maybe stop blushing so much.

I try to!! When someone is kind enough to leave a reaction, I should thank them at the very least! Excuse Number 1: I get overwhelmed easily. Excuse Number 2: Especially with long or thoughtful comments, when I answer those I feel like that's the end of that interaction and I don't want that to end

6.) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

It's gotta be one of the Mood Color Panties that ended with an emotional cliffhanger...

Uhhhhh in terms of happy ending to fic setting ratio? Probably the MCU/Snowpiercer crossover that ends somewhat like the movie wherein they discover that not everything on the outside world is dead and gone.

I've officially written one (1) crossover of MCU/Snowpiercer. Unofficially, I've chucked words at friends about The Covenant/Fantastic Four where Johnny Storm and Chase Collins are roommates for whatever reason and Chase is trying to close a portal to Hell and fighting off demons while Johnny is oblivious to it all until his Lucky Charms are gone.

Not that I'm aware of. Plenty of art got stolen though.

Does The Unlucky Ones count??? I just wanted spoopy Cody but I can't not do backstory for AUs, so my mind is churning out the lore. Then @adiduck was like, “hey, I have some ideas for TUO, how about--“ and then I buried her in the sandbox. The only bits I wrote (with Adi's blessing) are the snippets on the artworks. She is writing the fic while we both excitedly yell at each other.

I like it. It can add a lot of things to the characters, plot, or setting. What I personally don't like if the words in another language are in italics.

Weiß Kreuz. It's in German and the forum it was posted on is long gone. There's an FMA fic on ff.net still. You won't find that one either.

I Got My Head Checked :D It started as a naive "lolol what would I want Sithywan to look like? just the once", grew to "But listen, Glimmer, it would be so funny if Sithywan is like "I need a week" as his estimation for how long he needs for Cody to spill every secret ever to him, and it ends with Sithywan just getting up in the cell like he's never been injured/tortured at all and going like "Thank you, that's all I need" like some method acting Black Widow type, but internally starting his journey of “omfg I want him carnally and emotionally””, and then it spiraled into 75k words with more catharsis for me as a person than should be possible. And a greenhouse. More IGMHC trivia!!

Oban Ouaine, Qui-Gon's Cody's Venator, is Gaelic for little green bay. I wanted a connection of Qui-Gon and his fandom plants. And I thought Oban Ouaine sounds a little bit like Obi-Wan

the original plan was that the whole Venator is like a jungle with plants everywhere. @elwenyere brought up "they have a greenhouse?" and I ran with that instead, not knowing it would turn into a central stage for hope and healing for the characters

THE FUCKING FNAF MOVIE !!!!!

ALRIGHT SO HUGE MASSIVE FNAF MOVIE SPOILERS, I JUST WANNA RANT ABT THE MOVIE BECAUSE I LITERALLY JUST GOT HOME FROM WATCHING IT, ALR YOUVE BEEN WARNED, ENJOY <3

general funny theatre moments:

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD /POS

alright so first thing i wanna say is that there were several moments where the theatre LOST THEIR SHIT

the first moment was when matpat. basically you here his voice before you see him, and the SECOND his face was showed everyone was just yelling "OH MY GOD HOLY SHIT OH MY GOD" and then he said the "its just a theory" line is everyone lost it again JHKFSD

and then the second moment was when they played the FUCKING LIVING TOMBSTONE FNAF SONG. LIKE THE SONG

THE WHOLE THEATRE LITERALLY CHEERED AND CLAPPED AND FUCKING LOST IT THAT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD

LITERALLY I HEARD AND FUCKING INTRO FREDDY LAUGH AND ME AND MY BROTHER WENT APESHIT

also during the scene where the babysitter gets bit

when she was investigating freddys teeth

my brother joking leaned over and was like "was that the bite of 87 :OOOOOO"

AND THEN HER ASS GOT CHOMPED

AND WE BOTH JUST STARTED LAUGHING OUR ASSES OFF CAUSE HE WAS LIKE "OH SHIT I WAS JOKING JKFHSDJKH"

OKAY MY LIKE MY FAVORITE THING EVER

WAS THE FACT THAT THEY LEANED INTO THE CHILDISH GHOST ASPECT

like this is the first time in canon material we really see them delving more into the fact that they really are just lost and scared Dead Children

like the fact that they showed how they truly were just robo children, like building a huge blanket fort, tickling abby, the fact that they brought up how the ghosts understand pictures more, like the end scene where mike is like "show them what really happened" and abby draws a little crayon scene of afton killing the kids

like in alot of fanon stuff people love going into that

but this is the first time in canon shit that we see them just. being kids

and i thought that was genuinely so fucking cool

like the blanket fort scene was honestly adorable, if a little out of place

THE FUCKING ANIMATRONICS WERE GORGEOUS

LIKE HOLY FUCKING THEY WERE AMAZING

THEY WERE SO FUCKING SMOOTH

WE GET SO MANY CLOSEUPS ON THEM YET THEY LOOK NOTHING BUT PERFECT

THEIR MOVEMENTS WERE VERY SMOOTH AND FLOWY

AND THEY JUST LOOKED FUCKING MAGNIFICIENT

LITERALLY ANYTIME THEY WERE IN DEPTH ON SCREEN I WAS JUST BOGGLED BY HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY WERE

ALSO EVERYONES ACTING WAS SO GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!

ik some people were a little on edge with fucking PEETA MELLARK being mike

but MAN did he pop his pussy during this movie omfg

AND THE KIDS WERE ALL AMAZING AS WELL

abby and the freddy ghost kid were WONDERFUL

plus matthew lillard obviously played insane Very Well

I HONESTLY LOVED THE REOCCURING BB TOY BIT FHJKSDJHK

where like it kept showing up in places and then mike would just like turn it around and put it in timeout

AND THEN THE END CREDIT SCENE WHERE IT SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF CORY KENSHINS CHARACTER SDFJKHJHKFLS

THE SCENE WHEN THE ASSHOLES BREAK IN WAS D O P E DUDE

LIKE THE DUDE GETTIN KILLED BY CUPCAKE IN THE FRIDGE

AND THEN THE OTHER DUDE RUNNING AND DYING BY BONNIE IN THE CLOSET

AND ALSO JFHSDKHJKFSD

the part where the main guy watches them on the cams and sees bonnie and chica just chillin by the vent

and then chica just leeaaaannsssssss down and puts cupcake in the vent

and then just both just >:( at the camera

AND THE RED EYES !!!!!!!!!!!

IDK IF THEY JUST. FIXED THEM AFTER THE TRAILER, OR IF SMTH ABT THE TRAILER JUST MADE THEM LOOK WORSE

BUT ACTUALLY IN PRACTICE THEY WERE GREAT

VERY mild negatives

i only really have two Actual gripes with certain choices

the anti-climatic springlock scene, and the choice to make vanessa the afton and not mike

like for the springlock failure scene, in all iterations of it, its always an instant thing

like in that one minigame scene, you hear them creak for a sec, and then they ALL chomp at once and he screams

but in the movie it was just kinda gradual which ig they had to do??

like how all the major death scenes were either off screen or like,,,,, shadows

which ig i understand bc they didnt wanna make it too exclusive by going all the way to r rated

but yeah in like all iterations of the springlock failure scene its always smth wet triggers in, and then bam they all go off, like theres springlocks EVERYWHERE like those fuckers puncture EVERYTHING

i mean we get like some close ups of them cutting into his stomach but like

still wouldve liked a more Instantaneous springlock scene

my only other real gripe with it was the choice to make vanessa the afton and not mike

really the choice to include her at All was odd to me like ever since the cast list came out

like just,,,,,,, chronologically why is she here (but hey when has fnaf ever liked its timelines

ANYWAY

the choice to COMPLETELY change mikes story by giving him the like dead little brother and alive little sister and like

someone actually pointed out a really good point where it was like

why did afton kidnap a kid from some random ass family at a campsite????

like the whole point was that stealing kids from the pizzeria was convenient, so why go all the way out to some forest in nebraska to kill a kid

but back to vanessa, like i understand how in the books there was the vanessa a., so obviously everyone thought that stood for afton, and even when she was in security breach people thought she was an afton

i just think the choice to make Her aftons kid, and make MIKE FUCKIGN SCHMIDT have zero relation to him was just Very Odd

BUT ANYWAY. STRANGE STORY DECISIONS ASIDE THIS WAS SUCH A GREAT FUCKING MOVIE. THIS WAS MY FIRST EVER THEATRE HORROR EXPERIENCE, AND GODDAMN WAS IT WORTH IT. FNAF HAS BEEN SUCH A GENUINELY HUGE PART OF MY LIFE SINCE PROBABLY WAY YOUNGER THAN IT SHOULDVE BEEN, BUT SO MUCH OF IT HAS BROUGHT ME TO BE WHO I AM TODAY AND JUST. HGRHGHRGHGRHGHGRHGRGHHGRGHRGH
