This is my first time writing fan fiction so please don’t be too harsh I’m aware I’m not the best. This is only a short something! <3

The news of the death of the king’s son spread through the walls of the red keep. An eerie silence was now present as such a loss caused even the kings guard to mourn. An emergency council meeting was called by the King himself. Aegon sat at his place at the table, his head in his shaking hands as he still tried to process the loss of his little boy. He felt more pain than ever before. Pain over losing his heir. Pain over the fact that the blacks had now won one over on him. But he felt the most pain for his wife. She wailed and screamed at the news of her son’s murder. She had never been close to her father anyways but now she held nothing but hate for him and his wife. To take away her son was to take away a big part of her. Her own father had crushed her whole heart in his hands and Aegon was determined to get his revenge, for no one hurts his girl and gets to live.

“Your grace, I know you are at a loss for words as of now but I truly do believe a funeral for the boy will win the people over to our side once they see the work of Rhaenyra” Otto spoke out, breaking the silence in the room. He felt sympathy for his grandson but they had a chance to make something good out of a bad situation and he was determined to see it through. For the first time since the council meeting began, Aegon lifted his head from his hands. His eyes were blood shot red and filled with tears that were yet to spill over as they narrowed at the sound of his grandfathers words. A sneer slowly formed on the kings face as he leaned forward slightly on the table to lock eyes with the hand.

“I have just lost my son” Aegon spat through his teeth, “and you want to parade him around the streets as one of your weapons in this war” . Otto sighed, knowing it was going to be hard to persuade his grandson that this his idea was to benefit everyone. “I know my king, but this is our one chance we have to show the people how cruel Rhaenyra can be. Let them see the boy for themselves and I promise you, they will denounce her and come to your side”, the hand was almost begging the king to see how he was right. Aegon’s silence made everyone in the room anxious, his actions unpredictable as they waited to hear his decision. He said nothing, only a subtle nod from him was the answer he gave his grandfather as he swiftly rose from his chair and rushed out of the room. His mind was preoccupied elsewhere as he knew where he needed to be right now.

He made his way up the flights of stairs, his two guards rushing to keep up behind him and he paced through the corridors in haste. He reached his chambers as he signalled with his hand for the guards to wait at his door, not bothering to give them a second glance as he entered and shut the door swiftly behind him. His eyes scanned the room, searching for a sign of life. The room was lit by only a few candles here and there, he squinted slightly to make out his wives small frame curled up in an armchair next to the fireplace, where a fire was currently brewing. His heart shattered at the sight of his girl and how broken she looked. He wished nothing but to be able to take her pain away but the only thing that would achieve that is to bring their son back. Aegon was not a god, he could not do that. He’d comfort her in his own way.

He hesitated slightly as he made his way to sit in the armchair opposite her as he caught sight of her face. It was a reflection of his, a reflection of the same pain he shared with her. He frowned slightly in sympathy as he reached out and gently placed his hand on her knee, “my wife, I promise you everything will be okay. I will not see this crime go unpunished, I swear it to you” he whispered, tilting his head slightly to be able to make out her face under the candle light. She turned her head slightly to face him, her eyes now locking with his as his heart shattered even more than before. He almost looked away, not being able to face the pain that lingered in her eyes.

Those beautiful eyes, the eyes that made him so infatuated with her since they were children. His son was lucky enough to inherit them from her, but now those same eyes of his child’s were closed forever. And it was in that moment, when her eyes connected with his, that he swore to himself that he would not lose her too. He could not bear the thought of her eyes closing forever and never being able to get lost in them again. “I am afraid Aegon” she whispered out, fresh tears forming in her eyes as her gaze remained on her husband. “Shh I know, but you don’t have to be afraid. I am here, and I would rather die than let anything happen to you” he spoke with a gentle tone as he swooped her up into his arms and sat back in the armchair, holding her close to him on his lap. He let her rest her head on his chest and bury her face in the crook of his neck as he rubbed soothing circles on her hip with one hand and played with strands of her hair with the other.

He kissed her forehead and rested his chin on her head as he stared into the flames of the fire. Feeling a mix of pain and anger, his nostrils flared at the thought of the possibility of the blacks celebrating the death of his son. He tightened his grip on his wife slightly, as if she would slip away at any minute. He felt a hand on his chest as he looked down at her form, his eyes connecting with hers as they gazed up at him, she didn’t need to say anything for him to know what she was trying to tell him. To do what he needed to do, no matter the violence. As much as she hated it, she was the daughter of Daemon Targaryen, she inherited his level of recklessness which dangerously, her husband had a similar trait.

“I want them all dead. Every. Single. One” she demanded, her eyes now filled with a fire that Aegon was all too familiar with. He knew she craved revenge and she knew he craved it too. He brung his hand up to rest on her cheek as he bent down slightly to place his lips on hers. The kiss was deep, it was silent promise to each other that their son’s murder would not be forgotten. He pulled back slightly, his forehead connected with hers, “I swear on your life and Jaehaera’s, I will have them all on their knees infront of Sunfyre as the last thing they will see is the flames leave his mouth as he turns them all to ash”, there was a certain power and promise in his tone. A power that would make most people nervous, but it only made his wife smile. A knowing smile. She knew his words were not lies, and she’d do anything to help him turn those words into a reality.

“I love you Aegon” she spoke with a slight whisper, smiling up at him. Her eyes still swollen from all the crying she’d been doing. He smiled down at her, a loving smile as he held her close to him. “I love you the most my love” he replied, letting her rest her head back on his chest and close her eyes as his chin returned to gently rest on the top of her head.

“ Let’s go to bed, maybe we’ll see Jaehaerys in our dreams” he whispered against her hair, before picking her up in his arms and carrying her over to bed where they curled up together and let themselves drift off. Feeling safe in one another’s arms.

I need to you guys to stay with me and imagine Adrien Agreste experimenting with what to wear after he quits modeling but being hopelessly lost on where to start so, after much consideration, he gets the brilliant idea to mimic his friends clothing aesthetics.

So naturally one week he’s wearing a backwards cap and baggy jeans in an attempt to mimic Nino who is ecstatic and another he’s wearing a lot of flannel which makes Alya roll her eyes and another him and Marinette are practically twins much to his delight until she gently tells him he only likes it because they are matching and he should probably keep looking until he finds something that is his own.

But instead he just keeps on mimicking classmate after classmate until he runs through them all and he starts talking to Kagami who’s figuring things out herself and doesn’t provide much to go off of and he settles on wearing suits until someone mistakes him for Felix.

So then he decides to move on from people and starts to look on Pinterest at Marinette’s suggestion and he copies the outfits down to a science but why does everything STILL feel not right? He decides it’s the website so he moves on and copies what he sees in magazines and in ads and it feels a little better but he also feels a little sick when he does it and why isn’t anything right and he’s twisting the ring on his finger so much it’s leaving a mark and hes pacing around the mansion and it has so many portraits and his dad is in all of them and why is he suddenly getting the feeling nothing he puts on will ever be right and why in the world does this stupid ring feel so heavy.

And so after a month of experimenting, he gets up in the morning one day and decides to try on the outfit he always used to wear and attempts to do his grown out hair the old way and looks in the mirror and stares at himself for a while. He slips on his sneakers and then the door rings and he heads downstairs to meet Marinette for school. As they’re walking he is still trying to decipher what he feels and he suddenly realizes that his dad would like this outfit a lot. He smiles to himself and tells Marinette and she smiles weakly and says she supposes he would and then avoids his eyes.

Adrien feels that familiar twist in his stomach that tells him something isn’t right, but when he tries to reflect on why that would be he’s only met with the same fuzzy memories of his father that he can’t quite sort out. He wonders if that’s where the unease comes from but then he shakes his head because those memories must be good because his father died a hero.

And so he wears the same outfit he always wore, ignoring the fact it feels a little too tight on him and that it makes his new ring feel heavier than ever.

Dungeon Meshi kills me bcz every character there has so many layers. Especially Liaos. In no way did I expect him to be so important to me but yk shit happens. Throughout the series, he wasn’t terribly worried about Fallin, and I saw that as a sign that he thinks she’s strong enough to handle this, or sure in his judgment of dragon digestion…

No yall he’s just autistic. And that makes his relationship with Fallin even sadder when you combine it with his nightmare sequence in EP 19 (I’m an anime only suck my balls) and like- oh my god they’re so close as siblings, but also close because Fallin is the only one not to think he’s crazy. Or be annoyed by him. Or disgusted in his interests. Oh my god I did exactly what Shuro did when he thought Laios’s way of showing grief meant that he wasn’t mourning. Oh my god Fallin is probably the closest person he has in life. And he’s charging into a dungeon to save her without knowing if he’ll get out, she’ll get out, or if anything will change at all. Ohhhhhh my god I gotta go hug my brother rn this is too much.

Edit: Yk when I made this the last thing I expected to get was support from people telling me that it’s okay to not read the manga…Dungeon Meshi really is something special man.

this is soooooooo much better than simon’s pov of watching Malec kiss in the accords hall or wherever they shared their public kiss. say what you want about the arranged marriage but Lydia stood by Alec. she told Alec about his parents past, something they didn’t think was necessary to share, admired Alec for his family duty, and never forced anything on him. I loved the mention of Henry. he’s very underrated in TLH and TID.

the way that Magnus knows alec says it all. I’ve seen book fans saying it’s creepy (as if Magnus not communicating and following teenage alec isn’t creepy??????) but it just shows that alec doesn’t need to say anything and nothing is being forced on him. no one is saying “OMG ALEXANDER JUST COME OUT ALREADY BECAUSE IF YOU DONT YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT ME- YEAH ALEC JUST COME OUT ALREADY HOW HARD COULD IT BE (Magnus and jace basically in the books)

I sincerely and seriously love that show Magnus isn’t like that. he’s not trying to force a decision on Alec. he’s not pushy, but he just knows he feels something for Alec and Alec feels it too. but he’s not making Alec come out to the clave. and as we can see, Alec is clearly struggling with his parents expectations and what he truly desires

I don’t know, I’ll always love the iconic wedding scene and the parallels that are attached to it. I think this is one of the many reasons people fell in love with Malec to begin with. I loved them from the second I saw Alec and Magnus but this just made it better. and yeah I will shit on the book because book Malec was done dirty. there was no reason for Simon to have a pov for most of their important discussions and moments. like the fact that he has that pov- when they’re fighting and saying ooooo they’re so dramatic and extra, and to their first public kiss is insane to me. it’s an inappropriate pov that has nothing to do with Simon.

ALSO JUST LOOK AT THAT MOTHERFUCKING KISS AND HOW MAGNUS NEEDS MORE SO ALEC GIVES HIM MORE LIKE THEY ARE SO FUCKING CUTE WE ALL LOVE SHOW MALEC

Dandan x Asivia

Dubbed dansivia. Confused as to who either of these are? Here’s a Dandan comp and Asivia wise this post is close enough for now

Ok first of all let’s address the theory:

Dandan is indeed the only Laios party member not pictured here (besides Chilchuck himself but we saw he didn’t like her which would contradict this anyways). I keep wanting to add "that we know of" or some other caveat but honestly not even no, it’s never implied or mentioned they had yet another party member and that makes sense since we saw the party’s inception right up to its current party composition.

… So… Mystery solved right out of the gate? I dunno, it feels weird to me to claim Dandan hates Laios, but if he kept it under wraps enough or reasoned with himself about it I could see it. Laios and Dandan were coworkers from their gold peeling days, and so when Laios left to try a career in dungeon diving Dandan joined him.

They seem very standard coworkers that get along well enough to me, far from skulls emoji energy, but yeah there is a case to be made on both overt strong dislike and repressed strong dislike ends. But maybe the true beef started after he left the party even, especially if he fancies Asivia and kept up with the party’s drama that went down with her, though the chart does imply it was the work dynamic while he was still in the party because of context. But, believing that Dandan likes her and Asivia considered getting with him like the other men of the party, Asivia would have literally sidelined Dandan to pursue Laios. And Laios doesn’t even realize her attempts at seduction? Ok yeah the hate is plausible nvm. Also we can keep in mind that this is Chilchuck’s chart and he could have more insight on Dandan’s feelings than the average coworker since he’s his friend. It def fleshes him more out with implications. He’s professional he keeps unnecessary shit to himself. It’d be weird to me if the relationship chart was made without Kui thinking it through, or retconning it, it is the canon we get so it’s interesting to ponder. Kui giving us secret romantic drama for free <3

Speaking of what’s not free. Ok maybe Dan does dislike Laios, do business introductions really cost money… I mean I respect the hustle but. So Dandan is heavily implied to be the one to introduce Asivia to the party. The only other mage was Marcille and well we know how that went. "A real cutie". Yeah. I bet. 👀

This is the most interesting dansivia part to me, they did meet previously to the party, both doing what they do best, networking. Dan helped Asivia find a job, how did they meet and how did that go? What if she had an infamous reputation already, how much did they get acquainted… There’s a lot of leeway for fun here

Gorgeous hustling but lazy manipulator that seeks a fortunate husband x slight womanizer hustling & hardworking poor guy that’s been around in business for too long to be played… Both work a lot but like to take it easy when they can. Women who kinda play dirty. Makes him respect them and want to pursue them help…

And like, takes on Asivia differ nowadays but I do need her to mean this shit for this, this is what she's unabashedly about. She is just a woman trying to make it in this world but working people’s the name of her game. Whatever reason you give her, she was taking advantage of Laios and trying to get a marriage with any decent profitable guy she could. She knows what she’s doing and she doesn’t look the least bit remorseful. A girl who knows what she wants and chases it, rawr ⬅️ Dandan voice

They both fall for each other but neither can admit it because they know it’s just temporary, she’ll go look for a well-off tallman husband eventually. Messy situationship go. Can they even have a good ending together. It’s all only ever nice in the present moments… She’ll leave he can’t offer her anything but himself and a very humble lifestyle, she’ll leave she can’t settle for that she won’t, he knows that and it’s part of why he liked her in the first place. Oughhhhh

Ohhh to be underdogs, settling for a humble life & being content with that vs unapologetically ambitious and chases that life and comfort she seeks, which in turn makes him admire her…….. But even if she inspires him to chase what he wants, she can’t give it to him…………..
