#i neeeeed fig to go indie it’s her destiny #she promises each of them that she’ll dedicate at least one song to them and then dedicates a track to each of them individually #sklondas seething a tiny bit that she called riz the ball but he won’t stop playing it so it keeps getting stuck in her head #adaine summons mephits to help with her track #you can hear her in the background near the end yelling ‘yeah!’ and ‘fuck off!’#fabian wanted his to sound like a shanty but fig said it wouldn’t go with the vibe of the album #they eventually compromised by having the noise of waves and seagulls subtly in the background throughout #kristen actually cried the first time fig played the ballad of lucy frostblade for them #summer scaries sounds like an olivia rodrigo song #gorgug gets a sick drum solo in raging for love #time quangle opens with fire crackling and a bird cawing and a quiet clip of ayda saying ‘I love you’ before the instrumental starts #fig stuck a quiet sound clip of gilear saying ‘oh fuck’ and then a louder sound clip of her saying ‘oh fuck!’ in cursed #devils nectar is one of the slower tracks on the album #hall of mirrors is heavily inspired by the events at evil mordred and baron so you can hear a lot of influences from baronesian music in it #fig has a fucking sick as hell guitar solo and a couple of samples from just the bottomless pit in general in infaethable #Gorthalax also gets some lyrical input on it #fig manages to get a clip of riz saying ‘the ball bitch!’ to kalvaxus in freshman year to put in fury of the ball #is this too long for an album? maybe but who cares I love this #a good portion of the profits made from the album goes towards college for the party #having thoughts about fig and the cig fig’s Junior year album #autism (mads) speaks #fantasy high #fhjy #fig faeth #fantasy high junior year #dimesnion 20 #d20 fantasy high #fig and the cig figs

i started playing max payne 2 and was immediately so put off by how he no longer has sam lake's face that i decided to put together a collection of some of the max payne 1 panels that i really liked. enjoy <3

omfg . radio play version of much ado with david as benedick from 2001

#this version of benedick is a lottttt more serious and restrained than the 2011 version #definitely due to the medium and bc it matches the energy of this version of beatrice way better #it's not david and catherine's insane comedic chemistry but it's still really good imo..#like it's obviously not as endlessly fucking funny as the 2011 version but it's still really solid #and i'm impressed with how they did the humor in a 100% audio format #and i actually really love this interpretation of benedick as more cynical and leaning into his Hater side #ironically david's benedick here generally comes off as older and more mature than his benedick 10 years later #'the prince's fool... hAhH???' is obviously extremely funny but also 'the prince's fool... [uppity hmph]' is Inspired #and his outraged 'oh!'s and gasps and sighs when he listens to don pedro/claudio/leonato talking abt beatrice being in love with him #also funnily enough i think benedick's whole monologue after this is SO good. if not better than the 2011 version #cuz it's more restrained you have benedick's haterism actively fighting and losing against his satisfaction and giddy laughter #and the bit where benedick challenges claudio is so ohhhghhgouhgghg #the way his voice deepens with 'and her death shall fall heavy on you' just FLOORS me it's fucking perfect #but also equally as fun are the line readings where they have evidently remained the same (or similar)#my dearrrrr ladyyyy disdaiiiiinnnn #and the 'she misused me past the endurance of a block' rant #and when he's bitching about claudio falling in love w hero #but the vibes are so different this feels like a whole separate guy and that's really cool #i'm not sure how much i would love this production overall if i wasn't as familiar w the play tho #much ado #essentially trying to say in the least embarrassing way possible that david tennant is now both my first and second favorite benedick

#wren rambles #greek mythology #the iliad #the odyssey #i am actually not 100% sure what stories shes in #but i got interested at her mention in the odyssey and then read her wiki page #girl lost BOTH her parents for 17 years when she was 9 #grew up probably raised mostly by Clyemnestra which. no one wants.#her parents finally came back from troy and their re-honeymoon in africa #and three years later shes send off to marry Neoptolemus #an agrragement her father made during the trojan war #(now marriage customs were different ans this arragement would have been normal.#and she doesnt seem to hate the idea [though her opinion isnt mentioned] so it could just be a normal marriage agreement #however it IS Neoptolemus. who is often portrayed as brutal and violent.#tho idk what hes like outside of war. anyway. happiness of the marruage aside #its probably a shock to be Nine Years Old and then when youre solidly in your 20s your dad comes back abd is like MARRIAGE TIME)#and THEN Orestes and Neoptolemus fight over her and she marries Orestes (her cousin. but again. ancient greece)#just. most of that generation of kids lost only their father #some perminantly #telemachus for 20 years #most for at least ten years #but Heromine lost BOTH her parents #lost the relationship with her MOTHER which the vibe i get was SUPER valuble #(if Demeter's attitude is anything to go by and the cultural vibe of mother-daughter relationship)#helen even did cite that she was a foolish creature for leaving her husband and beloved daughter #ALSO Hermione not having any full siblings means something to me #idk just.
