You dont need to make renders to have your posts be appreciated! If all you do is post your screenshots, no editing at all, you're still extremely valid. If you don't feel like painting individual hair strands, adding custom lighting/shadows, learning how to meticulously edit things, I still want to see what you have to post. Some of the edits and talent I've seen on simblr is out of this world. But I feel like it's also important to have some validation for people who don't like editing, and still want to share their sims with us. Obviously renders and highly edited posts are the norm and whats most popular, but it doesent make anyone else's posts less worthy of being liked/reblogged. 💗

#this post is 500% for myself #im so tired of feeling like i NEED to learn blender and meticulously edit every single post i make #i dont ever want to touch blender i dont want to paint hair strands or make my own poses or add highlight and contour #i would love to actually start a sim story but i dont have it in me to make my own poses and edit posts like the popular storyteller simblr #its just not me #anyways yall are talented this is NOT me hating on ppl who make edits like that #i just dont have it in me besties 😣😂💗

#kirby gijinka #marx kirby #I love feeling more comfortable designing characters with long hair now #before I think a lot of my characters had short hair for my own wish fulfillment and projection of my gender ideals #now that I’ve had short hair for so long I’m a lot more comfortable with playing around with hair length in character designs #I really enjoy putting up hair in a tight updo as a show of like. character restriction or self control #with marx in particular I think pre-nova it’s a pretty clean updo with few stray strands of hair #then immediately after receiving nova’s power he gets to let loose for the first time and all the hair fans out a lot more #and for star allies he has a much healthier balance between the two with more flyaway strands #but then the more power of nova he uses the more his hair is disheveled and falls out of the jester cap #anyways idk #the state of hair is such a fascinating thing in characters because it’s one of the easiest things to change about a character I think #while still being recognizable as the character that is #a lot of the design for my pink oc had a similar idea where they have their hair pinned tightly and then hair falls loose as they let loose

We all know Vasily has big, kissable forehead, right? But where exactly is his hairline?

Before the duel he has his cap on, so we do not see it:

After the duel we might get a glipse on this panel:

And after joining Sugimoto's group he always has his hair down (with or without his cap):

So all I'm saying is, he could be half bald with his hair brushed forward and we wouldn't know.
