Hello and welcome to Week 7!

This week Chapter 7 was posted on AO3, Chapter 8 was posted on Patreon, and I posted a historical blog post about ancient astronomy as well as a (free) post about Asterion's design on Patreon.

I finally get to start talking about this book's namesake without giving spoilers, haha. That said, there's still more to learn about Asterion and the stars going forward...

I was bored a while back and made the MLB characters using the Black OC maker on Picrew

Marinette: Proud to be Blasian, still tense when she gets weird looks/Dyed her hair because she wanted to be Coraline for Halloween, now she just likes the color

Adrien: Black mom, white dad, identity crisis/Gabriel’s still a dick and wants Adrien to be a “Good Black.”/Usually always on the receiving end of light skin jokes

Alya: The same, just with bigger hair/The Queen of Hoop Earrings/One TikTok account for general stuff, the other just to post videos of her and her friends dancing and stepping

Nino: Undoing Gabriel’s influence on his bro and helping him embrace his blackness/You did NOT hear him listening to Robin Thicke/Starts every Shabooya Roll Call

Chloé: Bad and bougie/Identity crisis on a count of she was adopted as a baby to make her white parents look good/Will only let Marc and Juleka style her hair

Sabrina: Only knows English because she listens to Megan Thee Stallion religiously/Scarily good at break dancing

Alix: “Scar twins!” “But your scar is-“ “Shut up! Scar twins!”/Classroom solidarity by shielding her from others when her hijab slips off/She and Nath tag the city by putting stickers with images of historical women of color everywhere

Marc: He’s the one braiding his classmates’ hair/Hates how black people are written in most shows and movies/Scarily good at rapping. Do NOT try to challenge him to a rap battle, you will be humiliated

Since it seems like we are gonna be starting out season 8 with some sort of Bee related emergency here are some random ideas.

Tommy’s helicopter gets surrounded by bees causing an issue with it crashing. The 118 gets called into rescue him and we get to see Buck panic as he tries to save his boyfriend. Ends with them being very sweet in the hospital, and the rest of the 118 (minus Gerard but he doesn’t count) sending him a get well soon basket with honey in it

One of those beekeepers who brings bees to agricultural fields to pollinate has a car accident sending millions of bees into downtown LA

A bee swarm attacks the fire engine (it’s not a truck it’s an engine) and Gerard is cowering inside because he is allergic. The 911 gods look favorably upon us and have Gerard get the shit stung out of him and sent to the ER

Buck and Tommy are on a date at a bee and or honey festival, and a car accident sets loose a horde of bees and people panic causing a massive incident. Buck and Tommy end up sheltering inside somewhere with a girl who is afraid of or allergic to bees, and they have to keep her calm while help arrives, and we get to see Buck and Tommy being the girl dads they are

Jee-Yun and Mara become the girl from that one news story who had 60 thousand bees in her wall, chaos ensues as now Maddie and Chimney also have to find a new place while Bobby and Athena are looking for a place

A bee gets into one of the clean rooms at Karen’s workplace and one of her coworkers gets stung. They are allergic and Karen has to sit with them while they are trapped in the clean room and Henrietta Wilson has to come save her woman whether the 118 are with her or not (Everyone but Gerard is but this is a Gerard hate account, so they all disobey him and it causes the drama for the beginning of the season)

Gerard falls off a bee themed float and dies, it’s what he deserves

A flower parade like from Bee movie occurs and a bunch of bees get loose and hang out on the parade floats, causing a riot as people panic, the bees are chilling though (This is when Gerard falls off the float)

My Corazon HC's!! pt.3 ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

ft. Law as a kid!!

For Halloween, when Law was a child, Corazon dressed as Bee and Law dressed as Puppycat.

I saw an IG short on this, but kid Law and Corazon would watch Ice Age together.

A silly scene would come up, like this:

One of Corazon 's biggest fears is tiny animals. Hamsters especially. He finds them adorable, though, and loves looking at pictures of them.

Corazon snores in his sleep. It sounds like bunnies honking out of happiness. Like this.

If Corazon is dating you, his smile and silly faces and noises will cheer you up.

He loves KAWS.

His phone screen is cracked.

He has a Kermit the Frog plushie.

If you pretend to air punch him, he will jerk his head back and go,

"Ouch!"

He really wanted to go to the Grand Canyon, but he couldn't afford it. Law found out about it and did one of those GoFundMe things. Corazon found out about it and made him take it down, but was very touched by it.

He LOVES The Muppets Movie and Enchanted.

His favorite Drake & Josh episode is the one where they ran over Oprah.

His favorite Victorious characters are Cat and Robbie.

He has a binder with PVC free plastic sleeves with all of Law's drawings. He looks at it when he's feeling down. It doesn't totally cheer him up, but it helps quite a bit.

He doesn't really play videogames, but he likes watching Law play them. He will do Mario Party, Wii Music etc., and things like Angry Birds.

He's really good at Clash of Clans for some reason (yes, he still plays it).

But, his favorite mobile game is one called Deemo. He showed it to Law one time, but wasn't sure if he was ever interested in it.
