Everyday i wake up and think abouthow sad i am that lestat the musical is objectively a horrible musical because i really do think interview with the vampire would probably make the best musical ever
#TO ME#interview with the vampire#iwtv#the vampire lestat#lestat the musical#okay but like litterally the structure of the story would be perfect for a musical#perfect two act structure#the interview framing device would work SO WELL#a play is also like the only place i think you can actually do book accurate armand#because its theater so you can just have short women and youngish theater twinks play him#claudia works WAY easier in a play for pretty much the same reason of suspension of disbelief being different#like in a play all that works so much easier#or like anne rice style oppulance and sensuality would work amazingly in a broadway style production#literally you cant tell me it doesnt also have the exact same audience as the longest running show on broadway phantom of the opera#JUST THINK ABOUT THE THEATER ACTORS PLAYING VAMPIRES PLAYING THEATER ACTORS PLAYING VAMPIRES#it would specifically be my favorite thing ever#i just think theater is actually the only place you can truly make annes vision come to life#god how i long for lestat de lioncourt to sing showtunes to me

So, I cane across this IF back then that was all about being a prince/princess locked away because the King forbids them from going out and then their nanny on their birthday brought MC out to play but the King saw them and killed the nanny and locked the MC since the.One day they came out for some food and cane across their brother who didn't know that MC is their sibling but the elder sister knew and they arranged the MC to be married to a Prince of another kingdom

The Dracula throne...
What did the Dracula's throne look like? beautiful. big, scary or was it made of stone with gargoyles on it with dragons on the sides? or would it be in the 21 century very black, with red and jeweles on it?
when i think of Dracula's throne i think of oppulance, pure leather, with his cape just across the frame. glittering jewles in the ouside of it and a Dragons on the ends. I mean this is the Prince of darkness we are talking about he is oppulance ever single way around.

Sometimes I forget wh40k Imperium does just take Catholic terms and fling them everywhere, and I've been out of catholicism long enough that things have rewired a little.
Just got a witness request from the board of Canon Law (hilarious real thing) signed by the Ecclesiastical notary, so their canon lawyers can decide if my sister's (terrible, young and messy) first marriage can be annuled. (Aka catholic divorce*, where you make a case that you were not in the right state of mind or were tricked or something about the marriage so it "doesnt count" and you can still receive communion and remarry and such.)
Ofc very serious thing to her, just funny to get a letter from the actual Ecclesiarchy. I was like, oh god they heard about the heresy I'm writing.
But no, I'm just normal flavor heretic, and they aren't allowed to arrest me for that anymore hahaha
#theres a flavor to growing up catholic that really hits#wh40k has that good balance of “i want zealous worship and massive churches and over the top ritualism and oppulance”#but with the important to me step of “and theyre super wrong for it and even the one they worship would hate it”#proccess all that religious trauma through real heresy like god intended#disclaimer I'm not like super anti catholic I'm just gay and agnostic but i do NOT hate catholics actively in the church

Bringing back this post because I was thinking about "normal is just a raging psychopath", Henry describing conformity as a distraction from reality, and how the wheelers are the shows Normal Main Family (tm) that has yet to have done anything despite all the weird subtext *cough cough* references to the creel home before the creels moved in *cough cough*. Also thinking about how since Mike and Nancy began to find their own way and develop individuality, Karen, Holly, and Ted became the new Unit as of S3, with Nancy throwing out her little toy rabbit in the end of s4 while we see Holly with her new lite brite toy in the wheeler den constantly in the same season (and also sporting the pink-white color scheme + rose (?) design on her shirts). Anyways invest in rosegate right now for bountiful rewards in s5 (wheeler sweep!!!!).
Not to be overdramatic but the wheeler family being implied indirectly to be a "play"/performance" or a "lie" keeps me up at night
