suddenly the world of superheros feels a lot more real to the citizens of Gotham who got used to horrible disasters being either ignored or neatly cleaned away from the public eye, now there's a guy getting thrown through windows and helping grannies cross the street and the war between gotham and metropolis gets even more cut throat

the strange thing about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is that it’s so weird to make fanfiction about it because of the dungeons. like that is the quintessential gameplay mechanic and a major part of the worldbuilding, and yet every pmd fic i’ve seen seems to be equally confused as to how to actually write the shapeshifting dungeons of doom and despair in words. it’s great. i love it. i love the different interpretations it’s such a fun time /gen

i’m too busy to write a fic but i need to telepathically project the Idea in your heads of Batman and Nightwing just fucking wrecking the batmobile. Absolutely totaling it. It flipped and rolled and everything.

And they’re (mostly) okay. some bruises, cuts, a broken arm for Bruce. It was a little scary to everyone else seeing/hearing it over comms and surveillance.

Except Bruce and Dick. Who are laughing their asses off because the exact same thing happened like 12 years ago when Dick was fifteen. On the exact same street. After hitting the exact same pothole.

And Bruce told himself he’d personally pay for it to be filled and paved over but he totally forgot. Insert some comment about Bruce’s old mistakes always coming back to haunt him, said as a joke but there’s a level of realness to it.
