I remember how excited 11 year old me, a self-proclaimed "Herbert follower" was to see him achieve something so big. This is what I imagined my penguin to look like during that time, in her "Polar Anti-Penguin Agency" uniform

Guys abstragedy has been on the mind non stop. I am Thinking Abiut Them. Hands you guys a small snippet of Something im trying to work on bc my mind is full of zooble thoughts

Zooble's uneven steps were soft, though they could've walked normally and Gangle wouldn't have noticed. Their hands smoothed against her shoulders, holding firm against the jump as her mask twisted to stare at them in startled confusion.

"Zooble? What's wrong?" Their wing flapped. Her shoulders shifted beneath their hands. They felt a little dizzy.

"I just missed you." They said, leaning forward to knock the bottom of their head against the top rim of her mask. "You've been busy all day." And they wanted her attention. They wanted her mismatched eyes solely on them. They wanted to pick her apart like she did them so often.

Their hands slid down to her arms, smoothing the fraying ribbon edges between their fingers. Her shudder was noticed immediately, as was the clear stress and frustration held within her body. "I've gotta make sure this one goes right," She sighed. "This mask - maybe *I* was the problem last time." Oh, so that was the reason.

Spinning her around to face them, Zooble made their discontent clear. Gangle’s expression twisted, guilt colliding with the manic desire to push this all aside and get back to work. They watched as she blatantly avoided their gaze, pupils thinned nervously and darting from corner to corner, scrambling to find something to redirect away from herself.

It was cute. It also hurt to see her so frantic to avoid them. No. Not avoid them. Avoid herself. No wonder she wanted to come back here - it was all work. There was no fun, no personal attachment, no time to think. It wasn’t an escape, she wished to be caged. Rolled into a spool and tucked away so that she couldn’t think about how bad her life was - still is.

Zooble’s antennae twitched as the thoughts clicked into place. For once they were glad to be so observant, their silent thinking paving way towards empathy to a degree the others doubted they were capable of. It was simply easier when it was someone they cared about, someone they didn’t want torn from their grasp.

I dislike takes that Danse would be just as conservative in modernized aus when it's clearly shown his staunch views of things come from his time in the Brotherhood and his deep-rooted desire to belong to something with a greater purpose.

Not to mention lines that show much more open-mindedness that get overlooked for his harsher sentiments when you first meet him. Like the oppurtunity to be a part of something is why Danse fell so far into Brotherhood dogma and it doesn't negate the offense things he does but I feel like it's just lazy to be like "hmmm he'd def be racist" just so it aligns to his BoS beliefs.

total drama horror au where after the "contestants" were chosen, chris kidnapped them and dumped them on an island to compete in death games against each other whilst broadcasting it to the masses livestream style. they're forced to comply with their "host" or else their food/living accommodations are stripped away and they're left to fend for themselves in the forest, but participating in the challenges is arguably more dangerous.

each elimination ceremony is taken to it's literal extreme, as the voted out player is just straight up executed on the spot.

the audience think it's some sort of ARG type deal at first, with the campers being actors, but eventually- probably by the first on-screen death- people catch on to it being Very Real.

(chris funds this little 'project' himself mr beast style using his vast amount of tv star wealth, so there's no network/producers that he has to answer to.)
