So, back around 2022-2023, I had to explain to a BUNCH of friends what exactly is/was the Undertale/UTMV fandom. It was hard to explain AUs of AUs… of multiverses… to people which weren’t there to personally experience the transition?

A lot of these stories and ideas just stems from people getting inspired off of other people, and kind of building up from there. However, if you weren’t really there for the natural progression of that… the fandom will kind of seem like… a lot (even though it kind of is ^^ the rabbit hole runs deep…).

So, I tried my hand at semi-making a “comprehensive” guide to how I see the layers of the fandom ^^” (in a silly, not-so-serious way).

The deeper you go into this fandom, the harder it sometimes gets to even leave 💀

Idk what my dad was 'cause I never knew him, but yeah my mom is (or... Was.. I guess..) Muscogee, the tribe native to the part of Alabama I'm in.

If I remember correctly she came to Alabama from Oklahoma (where a lot of Natives were displaced to in the 1800s) to "get back to her roots."

But yknow, I was separated from her in childhood (which tbh is upsettingly common for Native families) and I was raised in a very white very Catholic asylum so I'm not as connected to the culture as I'd like to be.

oh absolutely. it’s really interesting to think about because i think Phoenix has known for years that they could’ve become someone like Matchstick, but it’s still something of a kick in the teeth to see a living manifestation of the worst case scenario. a very soft and horrified “how much worse was it…?” you feel?

Matchstick, on the other hand, leans more into the disgust side of things. they’re so locked in to their villain persona that they can’t even imagine a universe where they were given the chance to be good, much less a bleeding heart goody two shoes savior. having to look that blindingly bright version of them in the face would probably trigger a full on Azula style mental breakdown lol

nanako would maybe make an appearance over a call or something in narukami's s.link at most due to yknow. being in inaba, but i imagine narukami bringing her up a lot in s.link events! p5si takes place in the 2019-2020 school year, so nanako would be a 1st year at yasogami at this point in time. just a year behind akane

The prisoner screamed in their cell, as First Aid watched through the window. Their servo, previously their pride of trade, had been cut off right where the nerve endings started; it looked fairly painful, and judging by the screaming, it was.

First Aid made a note of it, typing on his keypad.

“Hey doc. Fancy seeing you here,” Vortex purred from First Aid’s left, standing obtrusively in the doorway. First Aid spared him a glance, then return to the prisoner.

“Standard response of sudden amputation. Patient underwent a below-the-wrist amputation following extensive ischemic damage and necrosis of the servo due to unintended infection…” First Aid looked up again at the ‘prisoner’, before returning to his notes, continuing to speak aloud as he typed. “Preoperative imaging revealed critical tissue loss, with no viable circulation distal to the wrist. Procedure was uncomplicated and patient is expected to make a full recovery.”

Vortex made an interested noise, deciding to lean into First Aid’s personal space. “Sounds like you had some fun without me.”

First Aid set the tablet down with a small noise of dissatisfaction. Then, he spoke into a microphone, directed to the diminutive medical drones, currently puttering around the operating room. “Physician consent obtained for patient termination.”

As one, the drones all jolted to life. The prisoner strapped to the operating table barely had time to scream before the drones began to gouge him apart. First Aid shook his head, and made yet another mental note to recalibrate the drones. Always so messy. Never enough time to fix it, though. Especially not with…

Well, Vortex. Vortex, who was currently staring in disbelief. “Yknow, I was joking when I said you should lighten up. Isn’t this a little extreme? I mean, Primus, Aid, aren’t you supposed to be a medic-”

“What is it you want, Vortex?” First Aid sighed. He shouldn’t be even indulging this. “I wouldn’t have to kill so many patients if you left me alone.”

“Me? What did I do!” Vortex looks wounded, and maybe it’s an act. “You’re the one who chopped off his wrist, then, well… the rest of him too. Say, doesn’t he look a lot like your old coworker?” Vortex flashes a deep grin, unobstructed by any mask.

First Aid ignores him. Looks back to his notes. “Attending physician visual disturbance noted. Accompanied by auditory disturbances as well. Patient log closed for the day.”

“Hallucination?” Vortex makes to snatch away the data pad, but his clawed servo goes through it. “Wh- hey! First Aid, what did you-”

“You’re DEAD, Vortex!” First Aid finally snaps. “We have this conversation every other day! You’re- not real, and I shouldn’t even be talking to you…” Inhale, exhale. “I’ve been awake too long. This always happens, and I keep telling myself not to let it happen, and it always happens…”

Muttering to himself, First Aid stands up and leaves the room. Vortex, or what thinks it’s Vortex, stands over the data pad. Watches the text scroll automatically until it reaches today’s date.

Fifty thousand years after the end of the War. After Vortex’s last, hazy memory of… something, and then nothing at all. The room dims; the room goes black.

Nothing but a pair of red optics, staring out of the dark.

Random AU drop time

Dandy’s World Mimic AU (not permanent name just not creative enough to think of one rn)

AU where everything is pretty similar to the original, but twisteds are replaced with something called 'mimics'. Mimics are completely seperate things from the Toons (so toons wouldn't have to get 'infected' to become twisteds) and can range in intelligence/ sentience and aggression.

Low sentience mimics are pretty much like twisteds in the original, except they dont look like they've been through hell (basically, imagine normal looking toons crawling at you and trying to tear you apart LOL), while high sentience mimics tend to take on some elements from the personalities of their original, whether aggressive or not

Special case mimics are mimics who differ from others in some way, which can throw off toons. Most special case mimics are high sentience. Two examples are Glisten and Cosmo. Glisten tricks people through pity, showing themself as a broken version of his original, while other mimics tend to show themself as the perfect version of their original. Cosmo is a special case simply because he isnt aggressive.

Mimics cant copy small or thin details (since they're basically made of liquid and it cant hold together), so mimics would have to take accessories from the originals (totally not a reason to make super detailed designs that I dont have to actually draw)

Mimics gain intelligence when their originals die, picking up their memories (since they were supposed to be those toons replacements if they die)

Toons (or mimics, in some occasions) can wield weapons called 'neutralizers', which can melt mimics (and toons) and kill them permanently.

Characters allowed to use these (specifically to eliminate mimics) are called 'Judges' (ifykyk), but mimics who got the weapons through unconventional means dont go by the same title.

All characters go down the elevator in teams (which will probably be shown sooner or later) to keep an eye on each other and make sure nobody gets replaced by a mimic.

Uhh the lore goes as follows:

The CEO and Dandy's toon handler wanted to make extra copies of every toon just in case something happened to them. But something went wrong, and the copies became aggressive, attacking the CEO and the other handlers.

Similar to the original, they escaped, leaving behind the toons.

The ichor copies attacked the inexperienced toons simply by instinct, which the toons eventually figured out how to counter (and eliminate) easily. But the mimics quickly became smarter, tricking more and more toons and creating special case mimics.

And then blah blah blah more story stuff I don’t care enough to write about but anyways have some doodles for this au

🛵Giro Express transporter

these two are the one so far that i'm fine with the designs (they are adopts from @/zonaraze, go check them out, really cool artist) these aren't their real names, rather code-names that they used to hide their true identities, or precisely their old past 🛵Blue-hair girl is Mint, she focus on communicating with customers and all the paper works jobs, she good at hacking, has trouble with addiction which confuse a lot of people cuz' why a Reploid has that sort of problem, she actually exists since mmz era, and know Rouge, the operator of the Resistance. She was one of few people that works inside NA and help the Resistance by giving coordination to Rouge so Zero can have a safe transportation into certain areas. 🛵Purple hair girl is Campanula (the flower, Canterbury bells), a human (she is in mid 20s, just very short) , mainly works in storage, she is a skilled mechanic so she tend to helps with fixing the vehicles, mainly Aile because Aile tend to go into far more restricted-dangerous zones, sometimes the Guardian base would require her helps, despite her cheerfulness and outgoing attitude at first glance, she has troubles express her true thoughts and critics unless she feel comfortable around you.

(not final design) 🛵His name is Tomi, Yes, he count as an employees, he "disguise" himself as a motorcycle for delivering, mainly Aile use him. a mavericks gone "rouge" cuz' he got effected by the virus which was made by Campanula, it's not that he became more docile or kind, altho Campanula made sure he is incapable of attacking specifically her, he just...become more self-aware of his existence and decided that he prefer using his skill for st else other than be treated as a secondary mini-boss. He does genuinely like Campanula due to her carefulness when its come to machines, even to Mavericks like him. Other than her, Aile is another one that he also like because she impressed him with her riding skills (think of all the stunt from GTA video games) which lead to him admiring human tendency to seek danger as some sort of fun challenges. (he is one of the few OCs that i considered to be the oldest cuz' i had this concept for a long time ever since i played mmz)

Check their blog out, they are both cool artist and writer) 🛵Her name is Lake, she named it herself (or you can say OP is very uncreative when it comes to naming, lol) Another Mavericks gone "rouge", she became docile when failed to fully control Model L. she is one of few test subjects for Serpent to check how he can manipulate Ciel's biometals for his troops, Leviathan's subconscious "convinced" Lake to turn good which she success and Lake managed to escaped Serpent's controls but failed to take model L with her. She encountered Aile post-Ouroboros downfall, helping to pinpoint the leftover pieces of model Ws to ensure they stayed dead. (Aile didn't reveal Vent who was helping them finding the pieces, why tho? no idea currently, lol...) Then later on, she was saved by Aile and worked as some sort of submarine to transport packages and all sort of heavy stuffs across sea.

❌Others

(not the final design) This old Reploid guy is Leo (funny enough, he is "younger" than Mint) He was made around the same time as Prometheus and Pandora (he doesn't know them but aware of their reputation) but instead of staying youthful, he remain as old (simply for aesthetic choice, "old-looking people are cool") He is a skilled mechanic, also a trader for rare parts and "illegal" equipments for people who don't want Legion's eyes on them (especially with the news about Master Albert gone Mavericks, lots more people been looking into this type of service)

Well, these are the one that has designs I have a loooot more, but they are all from a long time ago, and i do wish i can find those old papers again but not like i will reuse the designs.
