I think I openly talk about '''"my""" experiences when """I""" was a popular artist on twitter because I need to express it and how horrible it was, and I want others too to spot the signs of a harassment/smear campaign against someone mentally ill and queer.
and I mainly do this for bunny(old host who ran the twitter years ago) because she is too scared to speak her mind about what happened because she's in a highly regressed state. i made wolfertinger666 because this is MY account not hers. I actually deleted her twitter years ago myself because people are so vile towards her and that toxicity is spewed towards me cuz we share the same body. we both actually feel better letting it out.

Hello Celta, Long time no see. I hope all is well.
I’m writing to bring you some juicy gossip from 1. Bookworm2 on YouTube, 2. a jailing of a sugar, and 3. lady C will be unmasking ugly after all and 4. Meghan regrets telling kids she’s the most bullied.
Bookworm does have some far reaching long term contacts at the palace and elsewhere in the US., truly people in the know. When you publish my ask I will attach her latest video. Allegedly Archwell, is rumoured to be under investigation by the Feds and IRS. There’s the matter of the missing millions from Archwell, and failure to declare it. BUT BUT BUT there’s also the matter of the Harkles, Meghan in particular uttering death threats across state lines, as part of an FBI cyber bullying investigation. This latter charge relates to the extreme bullying and harassment Catherine underwent during her cancer diagnosis and treatment. Catherine allegedly received some really nasty death threats while she was secluded from the public, at the height of the ‘Wheres Kate’ psychodrama online. Remember William went to visit M15 and it was publicized everywhere?? Two card readers, Mad World Tarot included, did a reading that showed the 3 of pentacles card, involvement through a third party. I wonder if they were able to trace the financial angle ie payment from Archwell. Or one of the third party, ie the death threat poster, probably squealed about his motivation and bosses. MWT saw William’s energy behind this. They truly thought online threats were untraceable. Consequences people consequences.
Avid Gardener and Trevor Coult on YouTube has the woman accused of trying to bomb Buckingham Palace brought up on charges against them. She made the threat on Twitter brazenly and openly. She’s also issued death threats to Avid and her husband and had bullied Trevor out of his charity job and home. She’s been named in the press as Diane Durham, 62, and she’s an immense sugar. Stupid woman pleaded not guilty after first admitting everything. It moves on to the high court for sentencing. I think the police are concurrently investigating the YouTube harassment claims. She stands to lose her house to Trevor in damages. I have no sympathy. Consequences people consequences.
On a related topic Lady C will most likely take go fund me to court because of the illegal reopening of her money raising drive for Mr thomas Markle Snr. She alleges that someone with connections had go fund me reopen the fundraiser after it was closed as per her contract with them, and called the newspaper to accuse her of fraud, all within the space of a few days. First she threatened the newspaper with a lawsuit if they ran the story, and then she threatened go fund me after they tried to brush her off, by telling her they couldn’t identify the member of staff of go fund me due to privacy reasons. She’s not having it AT ALL. And will see them in court. She strongly hints that she suspects Meghan and Harry are behind it, again through third parties. They want to damage her reputation and get her off YouTube. I think they mistakenly identified Lady C as a pushover. Don’t they anything about her life? lol. Consequences people consequences.
There’s also a threat by the UK bullied staff to be released from their NDAs to speak on camera about Meghan’s Bullying Report buried by the Queen. This, after she went to some girls charity last week. and claimed to be the most bullied person in the world. I bet she’s regretting that now. Consequences people consequences.
They both must be sweating bullets. No wonder Harry is nowhere to be seen. I hear a rumour he’s either in Australia to harass his father, or he’s in the UK hoping to be named counsellor of State while dear old pop is away. Harry is so dumb, all he cares about are the perks of the BRF and never about the consequences of his actions. He’s thicker than a brick.
There you go. It’s quite a lot, and I hope sooner rather than later they face justice in some form or another.
Hi AnonymousRetired,
All is very well with me, thank you for asking.
Thank you as well for sending in such a lot of lovely gossip. It looks like things are starting to move against the Harkles. Like you, I hope that all the perpetrators face justice, and sooner rather than later.
Videos referred to in the gossip (I hope these are the right ones): Note: I still need the ones from Lady C

do you know of any other antizionist artists who make jewish/judaica art, especially handmade stuff? my antizionist jewish friend is looking for stuff to put on her wedding registry and obv doesnt want her money funding genocide
yes, i absolutely do - but unfortunately there isn't (to my knowledge) a handy list of avowedly anti-zionist Jewish artists/shops, for the obvious reason that something like that would put most of us in danger of harassment or worse. i hesitate to make public recommendations on that qualification for the same reason, & also because not everyone feels the same way about the word/label even if our politics are similar.
what i can happily do is point you towards my friend's Judaica distro - i'm linking to the Instagram page rather than the website because they've worked with a lot of artists in various places via pop-up shows & scrolling the gallery is a good way to get a lot more names than just whoever's in stock right now in the shop section. most (probably not all, but at least a very large percentage) of the artists you can find this way are either openly & proudly anti-zionist or non-zionist. you and/or your friend can scroll & see if anyone's work catches your eye, then find that person's individual account or website to see if a) they have any clear political stance & b) they're selling things currently. it's a bit more work but there's a lot of good stuff out there.
i'm also happy to make individual, private recommendations based on type of work - for example if you DM'd me looking for anti-zionist Jewish ceramicists or candlemakers i could give you names right away. lots of folks i know would probably be happy to be recommended publicly as anti-zionist artists - i certainly am - but i don't want to make that decision for anyone else. i know people personally who have lost their jobs over speaking out publicly against Israel, & not everyone is in a position to be loud/visible that way even if they are doing other things quietly or behind the scenes to support Palestine. best of luck!

Denethor and Theoden as Fathers: A Comparison
(In which the rulers of Gondor and Rohan both play favourites.)
Denethor and Theoden are often held against each other as foils. Foils as kings, foils as warriors, foils as fathers.
Usually, these comparisons work out in Theoden's favour. Particularly in that in terms of fatherhood. After all, Denethor is harsh and pitiless to his son, whereas Theoden is affable and affectionate to his children. At a glance, there's no question of who loves his children better.
Indeed, Denethor openly declares his preference for Boromir over Faramir, tells him that between the two he would have chosen Boromir to live.
“Do you wish then," said Faramir,"that our places had been exchanged?” “Yes, I wish that indeed," said Denethor. "For Boromir was loyal to me and no wizard’s pupil. He would have remembered his father’s need, and would not have squandered what fortune gave. He would have brought me a mighty gift.” For a moment Faramir’s restraint gave way. “I would ask you, my father, to remember why it was that I, not he, was in Ithilien. On one occasion at least, your counsel has prevailed, not long ago. It was the lord of the City that gave the errand to him.”
Denethor's preference for Boromir seems to hinge mostly on his belief that Boromir would have served him and brought him the Ring, allowing them to defeat the enemy and save their lands. He is a father speaking to a son, but his love for his children revolves largely around the services they can provide to him as a servant to a Steward. After all, Denethor has had the survival of Gondor on his shoulder for years, and is sacrificing everything he has, including his sanity, to fight it. He has become Steward before all else, including a father. Being a Steward is all he is. Fighting the enemy is all he is. So when his son disobeys him as a soldier, as a Steward he loves him less.
This is painful and devastating for Faramir, who loves his father and longs for his father's love in return. And Denethor is teaching Faramir the same toxic mindset, that all his value hinges on this one thing, and that to be a failure of a soldier (disobedient) is to be a failure as a son and as a person.
But Faramir has fight enough to call Denethor out, to question his judgement, to defend himself. To essentially enter into open conflict with him.
The conflict between Denethor and Faramir, the failures of Denethor as a father, his preference for Boromir, the flaws in their relationship, are on open display, and there for all to see.
The flaws in Eowyn and Theoden's relationship, Theoden's failings as a father to Eowyn, Theoden's preference for Eomer, Theoden's reduction of Eowyn's worth to the services she provides, go unremarked and are barely commented on.
Like Denethor and Faramir, Theoden obviously has a child he holds in higher esteem than Eowyn. After Theoden awakens, he notes the importance of Eomer's contribution to the war, declares he cannot be spared, and respects that he would not wish to be left behind. Before he fell into dotage, he gave Eomer the charge of an Eored and made him a Marshall, showing respect and trust in him as a warrior and a Rider of Rohan.
Eowyn, although skilled in arms and as eager as Eomer to fight to defend her people, and to earn renown for herself, gets allotted the role of dry nurse and housekeeper against her will. A role that holds little chance for renown or honour, in comparison to Eomer's.
On awakening, Theoden shows no gratitude for the sacrifices she made during his illness. He does not show any response to the information that his trusted councillor harassed her and stalked her and would have forced her into marriage (and the marriage bed) if he could. He did not give Eowyn an opportunity a chance to testify against Grima when deciding his judgement.
(Instead he offers Grima forgiveness and a chance to repent. He offers Grima the choice to ride with him into battle; as a test of character true, but notably a choice Eowyn was denied despite years of loyal service. Grima is given more agency by Theoden than Eowyn is.)
On awakening, Theoden sends Eowyn away at Gandalf's request, but has Eomer brought back to him. Eomer is included in the following council and discussions about Grima's fate and their country's next moves. We only see Eowyn again when it's time for her to wait on Theoden at his table.
Eomer is brought into the room to have his voice heard. Eowyn is sent away now Theoden needs no nursing. Eomer is permitted to dine with him. Eowyn is permitted to serve.
The moment I keep coming back to, the moment that really casts a pall over Theoden and Eowyn's entire dynamic, is of course when Theoden asks for someone to rule in his place, after declaring that should Eomer fall, the people are to choose a new king.
It is this moment that really makes it evident just how much Theoden respects Eowyn, and colours the rest of their interactions.
Theoden is told by Hama (probably speaking as the people's voice) that it's in the House of Eorl they trust, and here Theoden makes it clear what a non-entity Eowyn is to him.
Eomer is the last of his house. Eowyn has served him all this time, has tended to his needs at great cost to herself, but Eomer and Eomer alone is the heir, Eomer and Eomer alone should have his right to choose to right out respected, Eomer and Eomer alone is of Theoden's house.
Even when he does grant the people's wish to have Eowyn rule, the fact he concedes to this request without consulting Eowyn, denying her a choice he granted every other man who refused to offer to stay back, shows that he has no regard for Eowyn's desires and Eowyn's autonomy.
After this interaction, any moments when Theoden does show Eowyn affection seem trivial.
He calls her daughter instead of sister-daughter (but only after he calls Eomer son, because Eomer must come first.) He notices that she seems unhappy at the same time Merry, a complete stranger, also notices that she has obviously been weeping. He does allow Eowyn to sit with him, instead of waiting on him. But at the same meal, he makes Merry the same offer as well, after knowing Merry a matter of days. Eowyn waited on Theoden for years before she had a chance to sit at his table. Merry five minutes.
This also makes the claim that Eowyn serving Theoden at his table was an equal or higher honour than sitting with him instead, as Eomer is allowed to do. For if that was so, Merry was slighted for being asked to sit down, or at least the nobility of that offer with which the narrative presents this moment is undermined. If Theoden asking Merry to sit was a compliment, then Eowyn being ordered to stand was a slight.
Waiting on the king was undoubtedly an honour, as any proximity to a king was, but the manner in which Theoden invited Merry to sit and dine with him, as an equal, obviously shows it as a greater one, and an honour that was denied Eowyn for years, and granted to her only at the same times as previously unknown hobbit.
These are the crumbs thrown to Eowyn. The right to serve, to right to take on the tasks no one else wants. A passing moment of concern when even a complete stranger cannot miss she is in despair. A farewell on his deathbed, and a declaration that she was "dearer than daughter" to him, which never translated to anything of substance in life.
This is the sum of Theoden's great love for Eowyn.
Compare to the trust and honour Theoden holds Eomer in once he has recovered from Saruman and Wormtongue's influence, compare to the fact that Theoden never hesitates to name Eomer heir and member of their house, compare the authority granted to Eomer as a Marshall, and Eowyn's own lot is clearly lacking.
Such a stark difference in treatment suggests as large a gap in Theoden's regard for Eomer and Eowyn as Denethor's regard for Boromir and Faramir. But whereas Denethor's failures as a father and his preference for Boromir is acknowledged by all, Theoden is held as a loving and admirable father to Eowyn.
This is because Eowyn is a woman, in a society where women are held to be inferior. She is an inferior being, therefore the love she receives is of an inferior kind.
There is no comparison between Theoden's affection for Eowyn and his affection for Eomer, because they're not even in the same category.
Theoden loves Eomer as a son and he loves Eowyn as a daughter. Daughters aren't so valued, so respected, so important as a son, and therefore there's no expectation that Eowyn should receive equal consideration as Eomer. She's a woman. She doesn't deserve it.
Whereas Boromir; as the eldest son, might be entitled to some rights over Faramir, the gulf in status between older son and second son isn't nearly so wide. There's no societal expectation that Denethor hold Faramir in significantly lower esteem that Boromir. As a son, as a Captain, Faramir is entitled to a certain level of affection and respect from his father, and when Denethor fails to deliver, that is notable.
At the same time, Faramir, a nobleman, a captain, may be obliged to owe Denethor his obedience, and while he is for the most part dutiful (if not disobedient when it's necessary), he has status enough, a voice enough, to disagree with Denethor. To openly defy him and question his judgement. Yet while his rights as a man give him some right to do so, the expectation of loyalty from father to son also makes this worth noting on.
Eowyn and Theoden never enter into open conflict with each other. They never acknowledge any discord between the two, they say all the right platitudes, but Theoden's love for Eowyn is not equal to his love for Eomer, no more than Denethor's is for Faramir and Boromir, and Eowyn suffers in her position under her uncle's rule as much as Faramir does his father's.
Denethor and Faramir's conflict is personal. It is active, aggressive, it is in defiance of expected father & son dynamics. It is unique to them. It cannot be ignored.
Theoden's lack of regard for Eowyn isn't personal. It isn't born out of any specific trait of Eowyn's, except that she is a woman. It is passive, benign, and in accordance to the general acceptance of woman's inferiority. Theoden's treatment of Eowyn is the status quo, it is coded into the values of their society. It's ignored all too easily.
Women are less. Eowyn is a woman. Eowyn is less. No need for hurt feelings, Eowyn just doesn't matter as much, because women don't matter as much. Eowyn doesn't get the opportunities Eomer did, because women don't get the opportunities men do. Eowyn's autonomy isn't respected by Theoden, because women aren't autonomous beings.
Their dynamic is to in accordance with the general expectations of their society, and so it's barely worth commenting on. A father values and respects his son more than his daughter, and the sky is blue and the sun is yellow.
While Eowyn never enters into open disagreement with Theoden, as Faramir does with Denethor, she does eventually disobey him. After years of frustration and bitterness, after years of following the rules and doing as she is ordered in defiance of her own ambitions, Eowyn finally disobeys.
Theoden never finds out. He dies not knowing Eowyn's body lay just a little way away from him. To his understanding, Eowyn is, and always was, his dutiful sister-daughter who followed instructions, waited on him without complaint, came when he called her, left when he sent her, and never troubled him with having a will of her own.
And as Theoden's view on Eowyn hinged on this conception of her, so did his love. The daughter he loved was the silent, obedient nurse and housekeeper.
Denethor knew full well that Faramir often disagreed with him. That Faramir possessed traits and ideals he didn't care for. Theoden never saw Eowyn. Denethor saw Faramir in the harshest light, but he saw him.
In the end, Faramir's fall destroys Denethor. For all the conflict between them, for all their mutual frustrations with each other, for all that Faramir disobeyed him on a serious matter, for all that Faramir was "disloyal" when Boromir would have been "loyal", Denethor did love his son. Even his attempt to burn Faramir along with him was; in his despairing state, an act of love. The act of love of a man gone beyond reason or hope. He wanted them to go together, he wanted them to die before the enemies got them. Faramir called out his father's name and Denethor wanted to go to him.
"Denethor started as one waking from a trance, and the flame died in his eyes, and he wept; and he said: 'Do not take my son from me! He calls for me.'"
Denethor's love for Faramir endured disagreements and conflict and outright disobedience. It endured after Denethor abandoned his duty, and sanity abandoned him. His last act was of love. Destructive, toxic, hopeless love. But love nonetheless.
Theoden dies before he ever finds out Eowyn disobeyed him. He dies before he ever discovers that Eowyn had hopes and wishes beyond acting as his nurse and housekeeper. He dies before he ever had to confront Eowyn's anger and resentment towards him and his house. He dies before knowing Eowyn as anything other than the biddable, dutiful daughter who silently waited on him for so many years.
Theoden died having never known Eowyn at all.
We will never know if Theoden's love; such as it was, would have endured finding out that Eowyn had forsaken his orders. We will never know if Theoden's love for Eowyn would have survived arguments and conflicts and disobedience. We will never know if Theoden would ever have managed to come to truly love Eowyn, instead of the mask she wore for his convenience.
Denethor and Faramir's relationship was harsh, often cruel, in want of kindness and affection, but there was an honesty there at least which suggests that what love they did have, had something of substance about it.
Theoden and Eowyn's relationship was gentle and affable, but it was based on a false image of who Eowyn was, was silently ruled by an uncontested belief in women's inferiority, and was untested by the conflict that would have stemmed from Eowyn showing Theoden her true thoughts and feelings.
Without that test, without that proof, there runs the risk that Theoden's love for Eowyn might have easy and pleasant, but ultimately hollow, whereas Denethor's love for Faramir was difficult and harsh, harmful and pitiless, destructive and eventually murderous, but it was real.

like, genuinely. taking accountability for your actions in perpetuation of abuse and rape culture is the first step to changing that culture. it doesn’t make you a bad person just because you did a bad thing (unless you were intentionally trying to cause harm) but you have to admit you are not immune to accidentally supporting the bad thing and take accountability for that. if you supported george's statements on sexual harassment, or dream's sexual jokes towards minors, or sapnap getting paid money to stream on a platform which openly harbours rapists and sex abusers, you've been a part of keeping the environment that makes it hard for victims to have come out. if you started believing in anti-victim sentiments and harassed other abuse victims for talking about how it made them uncomfortable, you’ve supported this environment. if you assumed anyone uncomfortable with your streamer or trying to talk out against them was inherently lying solely because it was your streamer, you helped support an enviroment that fostered abusers.
and that sounds harsh, and I’m sorry. but it’s true. and to a degree, I think everyone in this community has done that with people at one point in their lives. it's very easy to be manipulated, but it’s also very easy to be wilfully blind, and that’s not something irredeemable or a permanent stain. you can change, but you need to identify in yourself what caused you to act like that and make a conscious change. it’s healthier for you and it’s healthier for the environment. if we want to avoid this in the future, we need to be proactive in calling out actual potentially harmful behaviour, even if it’s from someone you like. or we will continue to harbour mass amount of abusers.
most content creators are not abusers. most, to be honest, are awkward introverted nerds with social anxiety. at least, that’s what i've got from the ones my brother knows (and that includes some big ccs). but while they’re a huge part of it bc being in front of a camera instead of people is a huge draw, there’s another draw that attracts a less savoury crowd- and that’s the position of power. and unless you’re willing to listen and be kind to genuine, serious criticism of harmful actions, and ccs are willing to do the same, abuse and sexual assault WILL continue to be normalised in these spaces. it is not your sole responsibility, but it IS a responsibility to make sure to avoid that now you know the possibilities aggressively attacking any criticism can hide. caiti had to deal with people with her abusers face threaten her for speaking negatively towards him. do not let that happen again.

hello! I don't follow you but I've seen your post about the fact Tumblr is banning trans women, black people and censoring posts about palestine for no reason float around, I had no idea that was happening, so thanks for pointing that out, but also, do you have more info on that? This might be a huge ask but this is such a strange and sad thing to hear about and I want to know more about it if that's okay.
hi anon! i would like to point out that i'm not one of the marginalized groups being censored by tumblr (as i'm a white, american transmasc) and i recognize that i'm very privileged to not have been censored and have the ability to speak on this, with resources predominantly gathered by trans women and people of color, so in future i would reccomend you ask someone who is a victim of transmisogyny/racism by the tumblr staff. that being said, i'll do my best to educate you and point you in some good directions. if anyone else wants to add anything that i missed to this, or correct any mistake i've made, feel free to do so!
tw for transphobia and screenshots of explicit calls to violence (there will be a clear TW so you know where it is.)
if this gets my account exploded, it’s been real.
the most recent example that made site-wide news was banning the transfemme user predestrogen (also known as rita) who was undergoing transphobic harassment and mass false-reporting for sfw pictures (here's a second tumblr user i found undergoing the same kind of harassment and here's a second account of rita's experience with photomatt from a friend of hers). she reported these threats and false reports, to no avail (as a post here details matt's response to terfism), and got pissed off and made a VERY obviously joking post about the site's ceo mattphoto’s car being exploded with hammers. this was very clearly one of the absurd joke threats tumblr is known for. this resulted in predestrogen getting banned, with matt nearly calling the police on her, and furthermore, followed onto twitter by matt.
here is the tumblr post in question that started everything.
Tumblr media
here's one of MANY tweets of matt's to rita, and to do your own research a post i found with multiple more of them.
Tumblr media
following users to a platform without them mentioning you? IS REALLY BAD. he deliberately searched for that account and sent multiple replies back to predestrogen. and hey, while we're here, he also..stalked the tags for a little while LMAO and kept replying to random users.
Tumblr media
as you can hopefully see, this is very obviously a joke threat. "i hope your car is covered in exploding hammers" is not a credible threat of violence. all of this over..this post.
you don't even need to take my word for it. here is a dropbox folder of screenshots of his that you can personally look through.
please note that this is ONE recent example of a disabled trans woman being banned without violating the tumblr terms of service in the sea of many trans women and people of color who have likewised been banned despite not violating TOS, unlike a few that i can find within about three clicks from my post that went viral. i have reported both of the below replies openly calling for violence against immigrants in the comments of this post already yesterday, and they have not been removed.
tw: explicit calls for violence.
scroll past this section if you do not want to see them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
these are not joke threats. i don't think i need to explain why talking about shooting immigrants is really fucking bad. i’m aware that tumblr has to deal with a large number of reports, but i hope you can recognize the absurdity of exploding hammers being banned and having the threat of a police call and followed on a different platform while actively calling for death to immigrants remaining unchanged at the time of posting this.
tw ends here.
while we're here, have some receipts of matt being not exactly pro-palestine.
Tumblr media
to show that this is not a one-time thing, here's him following a zionist on this platform. funnily enough, from math that i could be wrong about..
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the right screenshot says transmascpetewentz reblogged with the pro-isreal comment eleven days after its original date, feburary 12th, which means feburary 23rd. which happens to be the same day photomatt followed petewentz. i am not saying matt followed petewentz because of this post, i just noticed a coincidence.
i encourage you to do your own research, ask trans women and people of color on this site, and come to your own conclusions, anon. i hope this could help point you in a helpful direction.

Regarding Wilbur Soot
As one can imagine, the past few days have been a whirlwind for myself and many in the mcyt/dsmp community. In light of Wilbur's recent confession, I wanted to get my stance crystal clear and out in the open. (cws for abuse mentions)
I support Shubble in speaking out, especially in her being incredibly brave.
I do not support the actions of Wilbur Soot.
Domestic abuse or violence is never justified.
Going forward:
I have unfollowed/will be unfollowing Wilbur on all social medias (apologies if I forget any or take time clearing them all out)
I will no longer be posting anything positive about Wilbur on this blog
I WILL be interacting with fan content about the Dream SMP, including content of his character. This will be tagged with #cw c!wilbur . If I forget, please feel free to remind me, and feel free to block the tag. This is because I believe in those stories and characters, especially Ghostbur. I support people who are distancing themselves from these characters. I support if you do not feel comfortable interacting with me because of this.
I am currently working on changing my theme away from 'AYA?' (2/27/24)
I will be waiting for responses from CCs such as Philza, Quackity, Tommy etc. before casting judgement. I understand this might take time. I openly support those who have already spoken out against his actions.
Please allow me a small amount of grace as I navigate how I will approach Lvjy content from now on. UPDATE: as of now I have removed them from my circle of music.
As always, any negative opinions about cc!s do not extend to system alters. Whether you are a factive, fictive, attatched to a source, or any other connection-- you are welcome here.
I do not regret being a part of these communities. They have brought me such joy and friendship that I couldn't bear to. The only regret I have is any monetary support I may have given Wilbur in the past.
I also recently reblogged posts before there was confirmation of Wilbur's identity asking people to focus on Shubble rather than tracking the abuser down. I was very careful in my reposts and I stand by being cautious, especially as I had not watched the VOD (it was taken down at the time and I didn't want to invade Shubble's wishes-- I took lead from the Shubble Updates Twitter account).
Thank you. The community will get through this together. 💕
EDIT LOG:
1. Changed PFP
P. S. I never condone doxxing, harassment, or death threats online for any reason.
2. Added lvjy clause
3. Lvjy update

Zack Beauchamp at Vox:
I met Raqib Naik, a journalist who had fled his native India, at a coffee shop in suburban Maryland. We sat at the same metal table where he once discussed the prospect of his assassination with FBI agents.
Naik is a Muslim from Jammu and Kashmir, India’s only Muslim-majority state. In August 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revoked the state’s longstanding self-determination rights and temporarily imposed martial law. Indian officials arbitrarily detained thousands of Kashmiris, including many journalists. Through it all, Naik did his best to convey the reality in Kashmir to the outside world — a firsthand account of what was really going on in what’s often termed “the world’s largest democracy.” On August 15, 10 days after the crackdown in Kashmir began, Naik received the first of three visits from Indian military intelligence officers who interrogated him about his reporting. The harassment forced him underground; he eventually fled to the United States in the summer of 2020. But Modi wouldn’t let him go that easily. In September 2020, an Indian military official sent Naik a message saying “i have invited your father for a cup of tea.” In November 2020, a second intelligence officer said he too had contacted Naik’s father, vowing that he and Naik would “meet in person” even though Naik had moved to America. While traveling in another country in June 2022, Naik received an anonymous text message saying “you are being tracked and will be prosecuted.” He flew back to the US as quickly as possible.  [...]
India’s plot against America
I have spent the past several months investigating stories like Naik’s: critics of India who say the Indian government has reached across the Pacific Ocean to harass them on American soil.
Interviews with political figures, experts, and activists revealed a sustained campaign where Narendra Modi’s government threatens American citizens and permanent residents who dare speak out on the declining state of the country’s democracy. This campaign has not been described publicly until now because many people in the community  — even prominent ones — are too afraid to talk about it. (The Indian government did not respond to repeated and detailed requests for comment.)  India’s efforts include a handful of high-profile incidents, most notably an assassination plot against American and Canadian activists. But more commonly, India engages in subtle forms of harassment that fly under the public radar. An American charity leader who spoke out on Indian human rights violations saw his Indian employees arrested en masse. An American journalist who worked on a documentary about India was put on a travel blacklist and deported. An American historian who studies 17th-century India received so many death threats that she could no longer speak without security. Even a member of Congress — and vocal critic of the Modi regime — said she was concerned about being banned from visiting her Indian parents.
[...]
And while Russian involvement in the 2016 election swayed few votes, there’s good reason to believe India’s campaign is working as intended — muting stateside criticism of India’s autocratic turn under Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
An American academic warned me that they couldn’t speak openly about India out of concern for family. An American think tank expert described numerous examples of censorship and self-censorship at prominent US institutions. These two sources, and many others, would only share their personal stories with me anonymously. All were concerned about the consequences for their careers, their loved ones, or even themselves — and they weren’t alone. “Indian Americans who are against the BJP, or oppose the BJP, have been intimidated and as a result routinely engage in self-censorship. I have heard them say as much to me,” says John Sifton, the Asia advocacy director at Human Rights Watch. “There are prominent Indian American intellectuals, writers, [and] celebrities who simply will not speak out against Modi because they are afraid that by doing so they will subject themselves to a torrent of online abuse and even death threats.” As a result, one of the most important developments of our time — Modi pushing the world’s largest democracy toward an authoritarian future — is receiving far less scrutiny in the United States than it should, especially at a time when Modi is running for a historic third term.
India’s willingness to go after critics outside its borders — a practice political scientists call “transnational repression” — is a symptom of this democratic decline. Most sources told me that Indian harassment of Americans began in earnest after Modi took office in 2014, with most reported incidents happening in the past several years (when the prime minister became more aggressively authoritarian at home). Modi, a member of a prominent Hindu supremacist group since he was 8 years old, seems to believe he can act on the world stage in the same way he behaves at home. Despite the brazenness of India’s campaign — attacking Americans at home in a way that only the world’s worst authoritarian governments would dare — the Biden administration is putting little pressure on Modi to change his ways. Judging New Delhi too important in the fight against China, the US government has adopted its own unstated policy of avoiding fights with India over human rights and democracy. [...]
Modi’s “new India”
India was founded in 1947 as a secular democracy, with formal equality of all citizens enshrined in its constitution. But even before then, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had begun laying the groundwork for an alternative Hindu nationalist state. Narendra Modi has been a part of this fight since 1958, when he first got involved in his town’s RSS branch.
The RSS’s ideology, called Hindutva, holds that India must be a state principally for Hindus. It treats non-Hindus, especially Muslims, as foreign imports at best and invading forces at worst. The BJP is the RSS’s political wing, and it has worked extensively to bring the Indian state in line with Hindutva principles.  Making this dream into reality has been the purpose of Modi’s political career. Since becoming prime minister, he’s proven remarkably adept at it. The revocation of Kashmir’s autonomous status, and the subsequent crackdown that swept up Raqib Naik, is just one of many Hindutva victories during his tenure.  His government recently inaugurated a major new Hindu temple in the city of Ayodhya, on the site of a mosque that was torn down by an RSS-aligned mob in 1992. It passed the Citizenship Amendment Act, a law that, among other things, set up discriminatory immigration rules for Muslims. In states across the country, local BJP governments have passed laws restricting interfaith marriage between Hindus and Muslims.
Vox exposes India’s siccing of Americans critical of its authoritarian turn under PM Narendra Modi.

You know it feels wrong to not at least say something about it here since I did draw a lot of Project Moon art in the past, but I hope it goes without saying that im fucking appalled by the current situation. Their fucking radio silence with just a bullshit nothing statement about both firing an artist for no fucking reason other than that the korean equivalent of 4chan got pissed off at the wrong person for not making a "sexy" enough woman designs, and that the statement didn't even touch upon the unfair working conditions that the leviathan artist has been speaking more openly about now...
I hope all of you are boycotting Limbus Company. If you're not on twitter, it's what has been called for by the Korean side of the community (alongsides the protests they've been having, and that's not even touching on the fucking lawsuits that are apparently in the works over this shit)
Don't play the game. Project Moon is clearly hoping that they can keep going like it's just business as usual, so please don't let them do that. It doesn't matter if you don't spend money when playing, just playing the game itself is enough to boost it and such.
I get that cutting yourself off from something you like(d) a lot can be tough but it's for the game's own good. One PM fan to another, ok? I've been here for years and their games really are some of my favourite, but the fact real people are hurt by this company is just fucking sickening. (and the disgusting irony of their story's messages vs their real life behaviours isn't lost, because for fucks sake.)
Don't go back just because they're showing off new banners or promises of quality of life changes, this is some fucking activision levels of jingling shiny keys in your face.
Don't fall for the fucking shiny keys. Don't go crawling back. We all wait this out until they get their shit together and ACTUALLY address these major problems, and then FIX it. as best they can, considering i dont even know if the artist they fired over a phone call at night would even want to go back to working for a place that left her jobless and alone to fight against the incels's harassment that got her fired in the first place.

I know you said they were self-explanatory. But...do you think you could explain the appeal for you in the ships and friendships listed in the "Still Really Like" tier?
Sure, no problem!
Generally, the vibe is that these are the ships that I most like for him, within the constraints that the other person has to be an Ultimate. (Since Makoto and Hajime, the non-Ultimates, are already in the highest tier.) For the most part, I like him with characters who will go against the grain of his more unsavory convictions, because the part of me that is really bothered by his thing with Ultimates wants to see him recover from it. (It's the burnt out former gifted kid in me, I think. And that hyperlink is to a song of the same name. It's a good song.) But to break it down more specifically:
Komanami: I like their interactions in the game, and since I mentioned that I'm kind of unenthusiastic to ship Nagito with any Ultimates, Chiaki is up there because, of the Ultimates, she at least would really push back against a lot of his stuff regarding talent. They both like games, they both have surface-level mellow vibes, and I love the height difference. The fact that she's willing and able to politely ask him to stop doing what he's doing is nice. And I think he's someone who would gladly just let her sleep on him.
Komazumi: Similar to Chiaki, of all the Ultimates, Mahiru is (and sees herself as) pretty normal, and she has/had a reserve course best friend. There's enough in place for her to refute some of Nagito's stuff, and she's often assertive and considerate. She thought to bring him food when he was tied up. Her comment that he would make a good stay at home dad (or whatever it was) in SDR2 also helps. And I think the fact that Mahiru is someone who will readily admit to not being okay is good for him. Also, luck and photography can be an interesting combination.
Kamukoma: This is opposite vibes from Komanami and Komazumi, but Izuru and Nagito's very similar baggage can work well in a scenario where they're both trying to heal. Or be an absolute powder keg, in a scenario where they're not. I ship them both with Makoto more, but I do still ship them with each other. Partially because there's too much good fanart of them not to. And partially because, as I've mentioned in the past, I have a personal fondness for equilateral triangles.
Nagito x Chihiro: Okay, so here the ship answers the question of "If I saw Nagito do an out-of-the-box extreme gesture of devotion for someone, which character(s) would I be cool with having on the receiving end?" and also "Which character(s) could use a slightly over-enthusiastic pep talk?" (I think Nagito would really flourish if he gave someone a pep talk and they actually brightened up and got inspired. He dreams of that kind of win.)
Like Mahiru, Chihiro will just openly not be okay. Chihiro will openly cry. Chihiro will openly ask for advice. I think those things would be good for Nagito. But also, Chihiro wants to "become stronger", and I think having someone willing to go to misguided lengths to cheer them on and help them out would be a positive thing. Nagito would love an Ultimate with a specialized intellectual talent who wants to push themself past their current limits. Would they potentially be a bad influence on each other? Yes, but in a way I'd be interested to explore.
----
And now for the platonic:
Sonagito: This one is mainly because Sonia is one of the characters who doesn't seem to hate him, in SDR2. Her reactions to him are very focused on what behavior of his she dislikes, not disliking him as a person. And Nagito tries to stop Teruteru from harassing her and makes fun of Kazuichi when she rejects him. They have a cute thing going on, is what I'm saying.
I think there would be more here if she were only born a princess and not also hypercompetent at being a princess, speaking a bunch of languages, etc. If it was just "She was born with her station and that's enough to call her an Ultimate," then that could begin to pull a thread, but she's just genuinely excellent, which would only reinforce his belief in the concept of Ultimates, so that's one for the minus column, lol. Don't get me wrong, I love Sonia's skills for her character; just in the context of her being friends with Nagito, it doesn't advance what I would want it to. And that's fine.
Nagito & Taka: Their diametrically opposed ideologies provide exactly what I want out of any Nagito relationship. And Nagito's very particular vibe of "regular rule breaker who is highly respectful toward authority" would be cool with Taka's very particular vibe of "wants to be friends with everyone but also no running in the halls". They both have trouble coming across how they want to, with their peers, and they both have a kind of callous way of expressing themselves sometimes, and they're both highly principled in very different ways. It'd be fun to explore a friendship between them.
Nagito & Kyoko: They're both so smart, and they have such different vibes. (This isn't an actual part of the character analysis, but I'm thinking of the Danganronpa Abridged joke/moment where Kyoko goes "No. Shut up," when Leon tries to say something during the first trial of THH, and comparing it to the canon moment where Nagito just says a knowing "I see," when Gundham says something in the fourth trial of SDR2. Does that make sense?)
They just know stuff, and they're both sitting on it, Nagito with a smile and Kyoko with a stoic expression. They could both just silently absorb and process information and both know that the other has picked up on what they have picked up on without saying a word. And then, if they're working together, both use it to corner someone verbally. And if they're no working together, then they try to work around each other mentally and that's also very fun!
Honestly, I love the idea of Nagito smiling sunnily at Kyoko and Kyoko staring stone-faced back and they are best friends, and I also love the idea of Nagito smiling sunnily at Kyoko and Kyoko staring stone-faced back and they are enemies. But it's also cool if they're not quite either one but they just have an understanding of each other that most don't have. Or if they're both dating Makoto and they just get each other in an almost kind of tense way, maybe accepting, maybe even hostile, just any angle for those two could be so cool.

probably the worst part of the lily orchard abuse against courtney story is that lily and courtney's older brother also abused courtney and after courtney started publicly speaking out about lily (who yknow. has a platform and she's hurt multiple other people with that platform and says awful things online in general) lily started getting SUPER buddy buddy with her brother. like just ramping up talking about him and showing off how close they are.
said brother who openly hates trans people.
like this man is constantly making tiktoks saying trans people are delusional and/or predators. this man does not believe lily is a trans woman. this man thinks other trans women are predators. their closeness seems to be based solely on 1. lily likes spending time with his kids (i am not saying whether or not shes abusing them, she's also expressed she wants to be a mom so its possible she wants to play mom with her niblings) and 2. they like to insult and shit talk courtney together
lily orchard is very content with being around an open transphobe who hates people like her and refuses to see her as a woman just so she can take pot shots at her sister who she assures us she has never abused and courtney is totally lying about because courtney has been transphobic before.
this isn't like smoking gun definitive proof in and of itself that lily is an abuser but most normal socially conscious people who arent abusive do not typically get buddy buddy with their bigoted relatives who hate people like them and publicly speak out against people like them just in spite of a random family member who alleges abuse unless they are both abusers allying up to continue to discredit their victim and attack and harass them. because bigoted abusers will work together with a minority they hate to attack one of their victims, and once that victim is removed from the situation will go right back on the offense towards said minority and abusers will often compromise their outward moral principles to continue to abuse and harass their victims.
very rarely will someone innocently accused of abuse ally themselves with a terrible bigot just because someone randomly accused them both of abuse.

literally hoping they break up in the last season
Why Mileven is shit - a submission-based essay, part 2/3
Mileven - a currently canon het ship from the Stranger Things fandom between Michael (Mike) Wheeler and Jane (Eleven) Ives/Hopper/Byers/IDK
they NEED to breakup (AGAIN) in the final season let's start w their character arcs rn. el was born in a lab and was raised VERY strict to be a weapon and shit. she escapes and now her whole arc is finding herself and being who she is separate to what people tell her she is. mike comes from a lowkey conservative family with parents who are married only to fit into the normal, not because they love each other. his arc, similar to his sisters' struggle in earlier seasons, is to not fall into conformity just because you feel like you should. both of these stories line up with the main moral of the show: be who you are even if it isn't "normal" ot whatever now how does mileven go against this? mike, and a bunch of ppl around el, in the earlier seasons keeps telling el what she should do/be. even in the later seasons we see mike refering to el as a "superhero" (which she doesn't like). neither of them feel free to be themselves around the other (shown by el lying to mike and mike being WAY out of character around el, etc). mike literally can't tell el he loves her while not under pressure. mileven sometimes parallels mike's parents' and sta.cy (a failed conformity relationship) and other bad relationships ANYWAYS it also reallyyyy pains will byers (who's been canonically in love with mike for like years, and mike's best friend) to see this. also, milevens keep harassing will/mike shippers on anon even months after the last season. like they have a hate discord server just for it. anyways i love mike and el but ohhh my god there is still SO much i haven't mentioned about how bad they are together (and how bad shippers often are, sometimes being violently homophobic and calling bylers delusional and shit)
OOOH IT FUCKING SUCKS THEY ARE SOOOOOO BAD FOR EACH OTHER JESUS THEY DON'T COMMUNICATE LIKE EVER THEY ARE BOTH CLEARLY IN IT BECAUSE OF THE EXPECTATION OF A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE THEY CAN'T CONFIDE IN EACH OTHER THEY DON'T SHARE ANY INTERESTS THEY'RE HAVING CONFLICT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT THANK *GOD* I AM UTTERLY CONVINCED THEY ARE HEADING FOR A CANONICAL PERMANENT BREAKUP. NOT TO MENTION THEY ARE BOTH GAY AS HELL TO ME. YOU SEEN THAT "THIS SHIP IS SO CANON AND IT'S A LESBIAN AND A GAY MAN" TWEET? YEAH. FUCK THIS STUPID FUCKING SHIP NOT TO MENTION THE SHIPPERS ARE FREQUENTLY OPENLY HOMOPHOBIC. UGHHHHHHH KILLING BITING (this is my fave btw)
they have no chemistry or buildup unlike the other st couples. they kissed season 1 right after she asked if he would be her brother. hes very obviously compensating for something. i think i gagged when they made out in season 3. speaking of. thats all they do. make out. they dont really have meaningful conversations. this also comes from the fact that when mike met her she was fresh out the lab that abused her for like 11 years. she was not socially ready to understand the bounds of a platonic relationship let alone a romantic one. anyway mileven break up s5 will happen i believe it. if nothing else. cross ur fingers gamers
the sheer homophobia and general toxicity that the fans of this ship create is absolutely insane when their perfect (read: mischaracterized) straight (read: homosexually-coded) couple is judged for having toxic or incompatible elements is insane. the only good romantic aspect between these two characters is in a cringefail "wow this really doesn't work at all" i-want-to-put-this-dynamic-under-a-microscope-and-study-it-because-it's-an-absolute-trainwreck" kind of way. el has been abused and cut off from society her whole life and at 12 years old she immediately gets together with this guy at whose earth shattered after his best friend went missing who then has surviors guilt after she almost does which is misconstrued as romantic rather than unhealthy obsession and trauma. and so on and so forth.. there's just so much wrong they lie to each other So Fucking Much despite truthfulness being very important to them and they ignore their friends to make out (which is filmed in a way that is meant to feel uncomfortable btw lmao) and el doesn't understand mike's trauma from bullying and he doesn't understand how she doesn't want to be built up into being a superhero etc etc. and it's just so increasingly bad I want to rub my temples just thinking about them. they're just so bad for each other and their relationship has done nothing but make them worse in general but for some reason their ship is viewed as fluffy or cute or whatever the hell. anyway mike is so heavily coded to be fucking gay and in love with his best friend (and el can be interpreted to be lesbian coded) and I just need to get them out of there amen
I'm gonna make a list bc the reasons are many: 1) their first casual interaction they get together but in the same conversation she asks him if she can be like a sister to him 2) all their "cute moments" are them making out in the 3rd season with still absolutely no chemistry 3) their only actual cute scene is them dancing at the snowball yet in the same scene they portray the same way two couples that are not romantic 4) mike becomes a terrible person when he's with eleven 5) eleven literally GOT OUT OF A LAB SHE WAS RAISED IN and this is the first guy she dated 6) she can't even say he's a good kisser 7) mike can't tell her that he loves her (bc he doesn't) and the only time he does he makes this whole ugly ass speech up about how she's his "superhero" even though she doesn't want to be seen only for her superpowers 8) in said speech, while listing the things that he loves about her, he only names her superpowers + he lies multiple times 9) EVEN AFTER SAID SPEECH she is still mad at him and won't talk to him (probably bc she saw right through his bs) 10) she spent a whole 6 months lying to him about all of her life 11) mike is clearly gay and is meant to be with his childhood best friend will 12) mike idolizes her and doesn't see her as an actual person 13) eleven needs to be her own person (ffs she just got out of a lab) 14) the ship sucks and even the authors and actors say so
they have NO chemistry. they kissed after one week of knowing each other when they were 12 and eleven didn't even know what a romantic relationship was at the time, given the fact that right before mike kisses her she says "will you be like my brother?". they spent the entirety of season 2 apart with mike calling el on his walkie and el watching romantic movies on the tv for a year (then will is in trouble and mike says 'fuck it' and goes full protective boyfriend mode but this isn't about byler so i digress) and start dating soon after they meet again even though they haven't had a SINGLE conversation and are barely friends. season 3 comes along and the writers do their utmost best to show us how incompatible they are. their makeout scenes are uncomfortable, they break up at the beginning of the season and neither one of them seems particularly bothered that their first relationship is over. in fact, the happiest we see el in the entire series is during the time they're broken up, when she gets close to max (who she actually has chemistry with, by the way) and finally experiences freedom, being a teenage girl and etc since mike had been "keeping her all to himself" for like, a year. aside from that, he doesn't go after her at all after she dumps his ass (literally) but when he and will have a fight, he bikes across town in the rain just to apologize, that boy is GAY. finally, the theme of season 4 is lies and once again, mike and el spend the season apart (once again, mike spends the season with WILL) and right before they part ways, they have a big fight about mike being unable to so much as WRITE "love, mike" on his letters to el, let alone say it, and he bullshits his way through it and refuses to say the actual reason until vol. 2, when he apparently "confesses" that he's afraid he'll lose her if he says it (okay, amigo, you're gonna lose your girlfriend who was literally begging you to say 'i love you' not even a week ago, aham, totally valid excuse). conclusion: they don't know each other and they don't act like themselves when they're together. mike hides his nerdy nature, el feels like she has to be the amazing superhero he's always viewed her as or else he'll lose interest and it just feels like they're both grasping at straws because this relationship has been dragged on for too long that they don't know how to break up permanently. they are afraid of losing each other, but not romantically, as mike was el's first semblance of family after escaping the lab and mike feels like it's his duty to protect and care for el. also, mike is gay. in other words, FREE THEM.

Tbh those girls are very immature and if you see their ages it proves for itself, i wonder if that women has been doing something like shamans too like she did With BTS. Because this kind of attachment is a lot....they are literally risking their careers at this point and not seeing the reality and people who are backing her up like guys have you seen her account!?? What she did!?? She is also accused for being a ped0h!le for a reason, and have some very strange and strong accusations. I'm not backing hybe up but you can't deny that she isn't problematic herself, she was given a lot of advantages too. See this from a bigger and more mature perspective, hybe is wrong in many ways too but you can't deny that she's all innocent. They risked a lot by posting that video, and the fact they are so young too they shouldn't be speaking because they were told to not contact her for a reason. When there's an ongoing lawsuit against someone ofcourse your label would suggest you to not engage because first you all aren't proper adults, new in the industry and doesn't know half of the stuff. Also no idols are allowed to speak against big topics like these even if they are adults-!! Whatever way they are reacting it's not a normal behaviour they are just being manipulated but to a higher level, attachment is normal but not to the extent you start risking your career..!! Don't blind faith in anyone.
this is just my opinion i would like to hear eveyone else's too.
Honestly this is what I think
This kind of attachment isn't normal at all ,Idk about shamanism things done to them ,but it can be a possibility too ,min heejin literally spend lots of money on shaman , but to me either they are manipulated and literally groomed or new jeans members are opportunists to know about everything about her and still siding with someone as problematic as min hee Jin
She not only has strong accusations against her of being a pedophile and I remember how whole K-pop fans used to pinpoint those things ,and now being silent because they just are against hybe ,and people who say she is a feminist, ignore the fact that not only she mocked a SA victim ,sided with the person who harassed her employee but is also under SA case filed by the victim ,if people still support her ,this is actually kinda disturbing
Hybe is wrong at some points too like you said but them creating a channel and posting video tells alot ,if they were in some other company SM etc SM would have taught them a lesson like they did with their other idols and they wouldn't be able to post videos like they are doing now , wouldn't be able to support so openly min heejin at every point ,hybe is really patient to let them do anything they want
About saying groups are avoiding them ,it's natural how they are supporting mine hee Jin so openly ,how many law suits are going against her and how she was so problematic to other groups ,no sane person would like to interact with them and will try to be at a distant
Them literally risking their careers and group ,is again likely a calculated move by them and min hee Jin ,they are puppets at this point which are fighting for min heejin and she knows she wouldn't be able to fight without new jeans and tokkis support so she is using them to maximium extent ,either they want to end contract and want to get rid of fine they have to pay hybe by pushing hybe to terminate their contact by going to these insane extent ,or they really want to push hybe to only support them and make min hee Jin as incharge of everything
Hybe messed up really bad by giving leverage to min hee Jin in pasts and giving facilities to them no other group had ,so they are just idiots at this point to side with min hee Jin and not with hybe as most of the things which are happening now and the facilities they think they are ripped off is mostly because of min hee Jin being so problematic
Hybe is correcting their mistakes and they shouldn't let any CEO in future, have this much authority as it can back fire and it's not fair to other groups ,new jeans members ,their fandoms ,their lawyers are honestly trying everything to ruin their careers
Minors shouldn't be debut in K-pop as NJ members are really telling what happens if you let debut minors ,but again other groups also have minors and they don't act like this ,so I don't really understand what is going on with them
Then saying they have the right to their MV ,do they really know at this point what are they even saying ?them blindly trusting her is a problem, and them thinking they are nothing without her ,is an insult to themselves not min hee jin

As horrible as what's been happening lately with Viv has been (not just the Poison scene, but her lying about Raph being an SA survivor and also victim-blaming the child Raph sexually harassed), it's also been sort of a relief to see a lot of the people I follow here expressing disdain for Hazbin and its writer as well. On Twitter people are always doing crazy mental gymnastics to try and defend her horrible behaviour (thankfully the tides are finally starting to turn over there too, but there's still a lot of rabid stans), but on tumblr I've seen more and more people that I didn't even know watched Hazbin Hotel openly speaking out against the actions of Viv, and it's been a huge relief, honestly. It's nice to know there's still a good chunk of reasonable people in the world. Thanks for being one of them.
It's good more people are starting to realize it.

Ooookay I finally found out why I've gotten like 50 fucking messages telling me to kms since new years, and
A) Hey please don't send messages to people on my behalf, especially to wedge it into a completely unrelated argument, and double especially not to support some guy saying "misandry" is just as bad as misogyny. I think it should be pretty clear from my years around here that I do not believe or support that. If there's anything that makes me fucking angry it's my experiences with a female rapist being used as a gotcha against feminists. I'm not a fucking MRA or anti-feminist puppet and my experiences are not yours to use for your weird agendas. Also all sending weird messages about me does is encourage more deranged people to come out of the woodwork and harass me. I don't care if people talk shit about me that's their problem. At most maybe you can let ME know and see if I wanna say anything, but honestly even that gets tiresome because there's blooms where I'm apparently radblr's #1 Worst Man That Ever Lived for things I didn't even say.
B) That said, I have absolutely no idea why that person talking shit about me suddenly made it about pregnancy. *I* was the one from my very first reply to say that it's important to acknowledge physiological differences between men and women, and that things like pregnancy are HUGE factors in how traumatic an assault can be. So IDK why people are putting in words in my mouth about supposedly saying the opposite of what I've actually said? The discussion was about how OP was categorizing rape in a binary of "truly horrific, degrading, and traumatic" vs "bad but not Bad Bad, certainly NOT horrific and it's fucked up that people think it's horrific" and people jumped on to agree and add things like "rape is something that doesn't ruin a boy's life" or "I think most like it actually we need to acknowledge this <3" and increasingly vile shit like that. That goes way beyond acknowledging physiology and misogyny and steps directly into mocking rape victims and minimizing the impact of sexual assault. If me saying "actually all rape is horrific, degrading, and traumatic" and this makes you fucking livid, that's more about why YOU think raping certain people is "not that bad".
C) Super cool how people in comments in her shit are making excuses about how I'm a "Brain dead moid" and all the shit radfems have been saying to me isn't real harassment or is justified lol. I want any of these people talking shit about me to explain to me off anon why comments like this or this are so based. And that's not even the worst of it by far, there's people openly saying I'm probably the rapist, that they wish my rapist had killed me, that I'm an antifeminist for speaking about my experiences at all, and all sorts of shit. There were weeks where I had to mass delete my inbox every morning because it's just full of people telling me how I'm morally repugnant for not agreeing my rape was No Big Deal (TM). Also, all of this is frankly humiliating. You think I want to talk or think about this all the fucking time? That I want my friends on here to start thinking about me as that guy that was raped? I absolutely hate this more than I can possibly explain for that reason a lone. I also know that I'm one of the few people in a position to speak up about this and I don't think I have to let it slide as no big deal either, but it SUCKS for me.
D) On the whole I agree on a lot of radical feminist's view and am eager to stand up for them and women in general in the capacity that I can, but I'm not a fucking radfem puppet either, sorry. I don't have to pretend it isn't obvious most of the harassment is coming from radfems, and that there isn't a completely deranged rf faction that are ardent rape apologists (both against boys/men but also against girls/women - I spend 85% of my time in GC spaces speaking out against people calling bi women pornographic language when discussing them!). I don't think they're rape apologists *because* they're radfems, but rather rape apologism is something ingrained into just about every culture and people often twist ideologies to make their biases sound moral and upright. Every single ideology has this problem. Still doesn't excuse the fact that the rape apologists within radblr are coddled and defended even by people that claim not to agree with them because people view this as a sports match or something.

WASHINGTON — Talia Dror grew up hearing about the blatant antisemitism her mother’s family faced in Iran before immigrating to the United States. Her grandfather was stabbed for being a Jew, she said. Her mother was regularly called a dirty Jew.
Yet, Dror never expected antisemitism would follow the family to the country they fled to for refuge.
But the Cornell University junior said she was petrified last month when the school’s Jewish students were threatened online. The posts called for the deaths of Jewish people and warned that the school’s kosher dining hall would be shot up and a “Jewish house” bombed.
A 21-year-old student was arrested on federal charges a few days later. But not before Dror sat in her locked house, pondering her mortality.
“I knew that with my roommates and I being openly Jewish community leaders, our apartment would be one of the first targets for someone looked to actualize the threats, she testified at a recent congressional hearing.
As Jewish Americans increasingly worry about their personal safety amid an alarming rise in antisemitic incidents – particularly on college campuses – since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, they're pleading for help from the Biden administration.
Their calls for help have not been ignored. Officials have emphasized the progress made on a national strategy to counter antisemitism that was rolled out in May but has taken on new urgency. And they’ve put a particular focus on what’s happening in schools as officials have visited campuses, met with Jewish community leaders and made clear the Education Department will investigate antisemitism complaints.
Israel-Hamas protests roiled campuses. Now, the feds are investigating colleges and schools
“We understand that people are scared,” White House domestic policy adviser Neera Tanden said in a recent video briefing for the Jewish community on how the administration is implementing its antisemitism strategy.
“I do believe that we are doing everything and anything we can to protect people against the threats that they are experiencing,” Tanden said.
Jewish groups want more action on antisemitism
But some Jewish groups are looking for more.
They want beefed up resources for the Department of Education’s office that investigates discrimination complaints, and they don’t want the office to wait until the complaints come to them.
They want the administration to regulate the definition of antisemitism. And they want one person put in charge of ensuring the antisemitism strategy is fully implemented.
“That would be an enormous help,” Ted Deutch, CEO of the American Jewish Committee, said of having a point person for the strategy. “I’ve raised this with the administration.”
He emphasized, however, that success is not just up to the White House.
“We need the rest of society to step up,” he said.
Antisemitism incidents on the rise
Incidents of antisemitism had already been on the rise before Hamas attacked Israel.
Antisemitic hate crimes rose 25% from 2021 to 2022, according to the most recent FBI statistics. Although Jewish people make up only 2.4% of the U.S. population, they are the targets of more than half of all reported religion-based hate crimes.
Since Oct. 7, the Anti-Defamation League, an advocacy group that frequently speaks out against antisemitism and extremism, has tracked 832 anti-Jewish acts in the United States.
Jewish students have borne the brunt of severe antisemitic incidents across the country, according to Jonathan Greenblatt, ADL’s CEO.
“We know that college campuses are a microcosm of the trends we're seeing globally,” he told Congress. “But they've also become petri dishes where antisemitism is festering and flourishing.”

Complaints filed to Education Department's Office of Civil Rights
The Biden administration has responded in multiple ways, including reissuing guidance reminding schools that antisemitism is a violation of the Civil Rights Act. The Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights also updated its discrimination complaint form to make it clear that colleges, and universities and K-12 schools receiving federal funding must act if students are being targeted because they’re perceived to be Jewish, Muslim, Arab, Sikh, or any other ethnicity or shared ancestry. If they don’t, schools can lose federal funding or be referred to the Justice Department for further action.
The Education Department announced Thursday that five complaints have been filed this month alleging antisemitic harassment and two alleging anti-Muslim harassment.
"Hate has no place in our schools, period,” Education Secretary Miguel Cardona said.
The office received nearly 19,000 discrimination complaints in 2022 – an all-time high – but very few raised allegations of antisemitism. Only five had been made as the department neared the end of the 2023 fiscal year in September, the office told Rep. Kathy Manning, D-N.C.
“What's getting in the way of students filing?” Manning asked at a recent congressional hearing about antisemitism on campuses.
Kenneth Marcus, chairman of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, who headed the office during the Trump administration, said students may feel loyalty to their school, may not know about the complaint process or may not have confidence it will work. That’s why, he said, the office should not wait for complaints to be formally filed but should proactively start its own investigations.
“The federal government should take action,” he said. “And there’s no reason why it cannot do so within these next 30 days.”
The ADL is likewise calling on the Education Department to proactively investigate antisemitism allegations.
Complaints expected to rise
Three students at New York University aren’t waiting for that. They’re suing the university, arguing their civil rights have been violated because of pervasive acts of antisemitic hatred, discrimination, harassment and intimidation.
The university, which has called the lawsuit a “one-sided narrative,” recently announced it’s creating a Center for the Study of Antisemitism.
“I have listened to heartbreaking stories from students, faculty, parents, and alums,” New York University President Linda G. Mills said in a statement announcing the center. “NYU unequivocally condemns antisemitism and other forms of hate, and we are committed to maintaining a campus environment where all can study and learn in an atmosphere of respect and live free from the fear of bigotry.”
Stacy Burdett, an independent consultant who works with businesses, schools and others to counter antisemitism, said the most responsive universities get that this isn’t business as usual.  They’ve increased security services, formed antisemitism task forces and repeatedly reminded students and faculty that antisemitism violates the university’s values.
But complaints to the Department of Education will rise and its Office of Civil Rights is not set equipped to handle the existing backlog, she said.
“The complaints that are going to be coming in are going to be real, they're going to be hard, and they are going to need investigative capacity,” she told a House Education subcommittee. “So, let's get busy. And let's put people in those chairs.”
'Climate of constant fear'
At Emory University, senior Morgan Ames said she “lives in a climate of constant fear.” While friends at other universities have been physically assaulted, Ames said, she feels like she’s fighting psychological warfare.
Posters put up to raise awareness of hostages taken by Hamas are defaced. Fliers circulated have compared Jews to Nazis, she said.
“These actions surpass mere vandalism. They are deliberate threats to Jewish student safety,” Ames told USA TODAY. “It’s not healthy discourse.”
Ames praised Emory’s president for condemning antisemitic phrases and slogans made at an October protest on campus. But, she said, after dozens of professors pushed back saying the protester’s chats were in support of Palestinians and not antisemitic, that “created an intimidating atmosphere and inhibits students’ ability to participate fully in the classroom.”
At Cornell, Dror said, the university’s statements condemning the threats to the Jewish community was one of the strongest she’s seen. Also, security was heightened at all Jewish facilities on campus. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul visited the kosher dining hall.
“And all of that support has gone sincerely appreciated by the Jewish community. My question is, why didn't we receive it right after the October 7 attacks?” she asked Congress. “We sincerely appreciate all of their help now, but it's too little too late.”
